The tour kicks off this summer in Portland, Oregon, and will include cities never before visited by the Mexican icon

Los Angeles, CA (May 28, 2024) — Mexican music icon Marco Antonio Solís announces the arrival of his acclaimed "Eternamente Agradecido World Tour" to the United States this summer. The highly anticipated show will tour cities across North America, including Los Angeles, Austin, Houston, Boston, New York, Chicago and many more, where "El Buki" will delight fans of all ages in large arenas and iconic theaters. Tickets go on sale May 31 through LiveNation.com.

With the 'Eternamente Agradecido World Tour,' Marco Antonio Solís is embarking on a mission to reciprocate the love he's received over his illustrious four-decade career. This unique tour will bring his unmatched talent and musical enchantment to cities he's never visited before, offering fans a once-in-a-lifetime opportunity to experience his music live. The tour will commence on August 9 in Portland, Oregon.

Marco Antonio Solís is set to make history as the first Latin artist to grace the stage of the Intuit Dome in Los Angeles. This monumental event, scheduled for August 18, will mark the venue's opening weekend with a bang.

Marco Antonio Solis is hitting the road once more, announcing on Monday (Jan. 31) his 2022 tour Que Ganas de Verte (What Desire to See You).

Produced by Live Nation, the Latin Grammy-winning artist will kick off the U.S. leg of his trek on April 1 at the Footprint Center in Phoenix. He will then make pit stops in eight key cities including Orlando and Houston, before wrapping with a Mother’s Day celebration on May 7 at the Allstate Arena in Rosemont.

On his new tour, Solis, who has 51 titles on the Billboard Hot Latin Songs chart — 11 of those No. 1 hits — will croon his timeless classics and newer gems.

The Que Ganas de Verte tour comes on the heels of the Los Bukis (helmed by Solis) historic nine-date stadium tour, where the iconic group reunited for the first time in 25 years. The reunion tour scored the biggest Latin tour of 2021, earning $49.6 million, according to Billboard Boxscore.

Marco Antonio Solís Brings the ‘Eternamente Agradecido World Tour’ to the U.S.

Following Los Bukis’ Las Vegas Residency , the band’s frontman Marco Antonio Solís is going on a solo tour in the U.S. On May 28, the Mexican superstar revealed his upcoming “Eternamente Agradecido World Tour.” The highly-anticipated tour will start at the Moda Center in Portland, OR, on Aug. 9 and wrap up at the Acrisure Arena in Palm Desert, CA, on Nov. 9.

After kicking off his tour in Portland, El Buki is performing at the Climate Pledge Arena in Seattle, WA (Aug. 10); the Intuit Dome in Los Angeles, CA (Aug. 18); the Red Rocks Amphitheatre in Morrison, CO (Aug. 23); and the Delta Center in Salt Lake City, UT (Aug. 24). He will continue his tour at the T-Mobile Center in Kansas City, MO (Aug. 31); the Choctaw Grand Theater in Durant, OK (Sept. 1); the Payne Arena in Hidalgo, TX (Sept. 6); the Moody Center in Austin, TX (Sept. 8); and the Toyota Center in Houston, TX (Sept. 27).

Marco Antonio Solís Announces ‘Eternamente Agradecido' Tour

On Tuesday, Rolling Stone can exclusively announce that Marco Antonio Solís will be heading on a 22-show solo tour - titled the Eternamente Agradecido Tour - across the United States later this year.

"I have the word ‘grateful' tattooed on my heart because gratitude is something I've carried with me since I started singing and playing guitar," Solís tells Rolling Stone . "I am thankful to God for giving me the privilege to perform on these stages: from the small ones to the biggest."

The "Más Que Tu Amigo" singer will start his solo tour in Portland in August, stopping in cities such as Los Angeles, Austin, Atlanta, Baltimore, Boston, and Phoenix. In between his Texas dates, Solís will join Los Bukis at their Vegas residency at Dolby Live on Sept. 13, 14, 18, 20, and 21.

Fans can access tickets with presale code MAS24 starting May 30 at 10 a.m. local time. Citi cardholders can purchase tickets on May 29, and general on-sale begins May 31 at 10 a.m. local time. Fans can also purchase VIP tickets that include meet and greets with Solís.

Solís last went on tour in 2023 with the El Buki World Tou . On the new Eternamente Agredecido Tour, he promises "surprises" and "some beautiful changes" to his set.

"There will be surprises because I always seek to innovate and do things differently without losing my essence," he says. "It's very important for me to perform songs just as fans first heard them, but we make them a lot bigger and make them sound better with new technology."

The romantic lyrics and soothing vocals of Marco Antonio Solís have been a staple in the homes of Latinos for decades. His music — as a soloist and as the frontman of Los Bukis — has crossed generations. Last year, he reunited with his bandmates of Los Bukis after 25 years for a stadium tour that tapped into decades-long nostalgia. Now, he’s ready to hit the road on his own.

On Tuesday, Solís announced that he will be hitting the road for “Marco Antonio Solis: El Bukis World Tour,” a celebration of his lengthy career and ballads that have made him a Latin music icon.

The new tour arrives after a massive 2022 for El Buki, who, along with his sold-out stadium tour with Los Bukis, was honored with the 2022 Latin Recording Academy Person of the Year award.

“El Buki” — known for solo songs such as “Si No Te Hubieras Ido,” “Más Que Tu Amigo,” and “Mi Eterno Amor Secreto” — will stop in arenas, stadiums, and theaters across the U.S. and Mexico before heading across the pond for several shows in Spain. For fans who missed Los Bukis’ reunion tour, Solís promises that he’ll also perform some of the group’s greatest hits as well: “Of course, I can’t skip those.”

“I’m so happy because there’s so much buzz about us meeting again with my fans,” he says. “With the Bukis tour, I didn’t sing any of my solo songs out of respect for my bandmates. This is something new and different: it’s with my group, and serenading with my music as a soloist.”

Marco Antonio Solís (born December 29, 1959) is a profoundly influential Mexican singer-songwriter and musician hailing from Ario de Rosales, Michoacan, Mexico.

Wasting little time in his pursuit for music, Solís formed his first group, Los Hermanitos Solís, alongside brother Joel aged 12. By the early ’70s Los Hermanitos Solís disbanded and the young singer-songwriter formed Los Bukis and began playing traditional Mexican music in the styles of tejano and norteño. In the subsequent 20 years, Los Bukis would prove to be one of the most influential Mexican bands on tejano and norteño music, releasing 16 studio albums and countless hit singles. After contributing lyrics and production to popular singers including Marisela and Rocíoa Dúrcal, and following 20 years of Los Bukis, in 1975 Solís decided to pursue a solo career.

By 1999 Solís had released four platinum-selling albums “Quiereme”, “Inalcanzable”, “Por Amor a Mi Pueblo”, and “Trozos de Mi Alma”, and had solidified his reputation as a revered Latin American artist. In 2001 the reflective and sentimental “Mas de Mi Alma” was issued by Solís and once again became a best-seller supported by the singles “Cuando Te Acuerdes de Mi” and “Si No Te Hubieras Ido”. As the new millennium stretched out, the singer released a series of well-received albums including 2003’s “Tu Amor o Tu Desprecio”, the best-of “La Historia Continúa…”, the split release with Joan Sebastían “Dos Grandes”, and 2004’s “Razon de Sobra”.

Solís subsequently released the second part to “La Historia Continúa…” in 2005, the Grammy-nominated “Trozos de Mi Alma, Vol. 2” in 2006, the live album “Noche en Madrid” in 2008, and his eighth studio album “No Molestar” also in 2008. All albums of which topped the Billboard Latin Albums charts, and after a modest break from recording and touring, Solís was back to release his tenth consecutive Latin Album Chart No. 1, “En Total Plenitud” in 2010. The album “Gracias por Estar Aquí” appeared in April 2014, laden with Latin Grammy nominations for Best Traditional Pop Vocal Album and Best Regional Song for “De Mil Amores”.

Marco Antonio Solis aside from being a strong name is the title of the Mexican musician, composer and record producer. Music has clearly been in this musicians bloody from an early age, word on the street being that he started performing aged 6 as part of Los Hermanitos Solis with various family members.

Tonight is all about the songs that he has written, and the singles that have made it to the Hot Latin Tracks Chart. Opening with the song “Popurri” is a demonstration of just how talented this man is, with how he maintains the balance of fun and virtuosity, I mean, he has managed ten number one singles to date and twenty four top ten singles. “Ojala” is the huge number one track that shows off where Solis is from, showcasing his Mexican roots. “Mas Que Tu Amigo” and “Tu Amor o Tu Desprecio” are just a couple of his number one hits that lift the roof of this auditorium this evening.

Well the show was just O.K. and this being that the concert was supposed to start at 8:00 not at around 8:45 or later, but this doesn’t surprise me as the last time I attended a prior concert at this same venue (Sports Arena) the concert also started as late as an hour. Another way they could improve the concert is setting bigger screens so it would be easier to see for audience

What Is Marco Antonio Solís’ 2024 Tour?

Marco Antonio Solís’ “Eternamente Agradecido World Tour” celebrates four decades of the musician’s career. Solís previously embarked on the tour’s first leg in March, playing a handful of shows in his native Mexico.

The new US leg of his “Eternamente Agradecido World Tour” will commence in Portland, Oregon on August 9th and will see Solís playing several cities for the first time in his career. Solís will play arena shows in Seattle, Los Angeles, Salt Lake City, Kansas City, Austin, Atlanta, Charlotte, Boston, Chicago, and more. He’ll wrap up the tour with a show in Palm Desert, California on November 9th. See the full list of Marco Antonio Solís’ 2024 tour dates below.

In addition to his upcoming tour, Solís will join his brother Solís and the rest of Los Bukis for a series of shows at Las Vegas’ Park MGM in July and September 2024. Tickets are available here .

How Can I Buy Tickets to Marco Antonio Solís’ 2024 Tour?

Tickets for Marco Antonio Solís’ 2024 US tour will be available via a Live Nation pre-sale kicking off on Thursday, May 30th at 10:00 a.m. local time (use access code  SOUNDCHECK ). There will also be available for Citi Cardmembers beginning Wednesday, May 29th at 10:00 a.m. local time.

Tickets will then go on sale to the general public on Friday, May 31st at 10:00 a.m. local time via Ticketmaster .

Once tickets are on-sale, fans can look for deals or get tickets to sale out shows via StubHub , where orders are 100% guaranteed through StubHub’s FanProtect program. StubHub is a secondary market ticketing platform, and prices may be higher or lower than face value, depending on demand.
