Hyderabad: For convenience of devotees visiting the Swarnagiri temple, Bhongir, the Telangana State Road Transport Corporation (TGSRTC) has introduced temple tourist special buses with electric non-AC Metro Express on route JBS-Swarnagiri. They will be running from Wednesday.

The special buses will ply via Tarnaka, Uppal X Road, Medipally, Ghatkesar, AIIMS, Bibinagar, Renuka Ellamma, Swarnagiri. The charge will be Rs 100 per head; Uppal X Road to Swarnagiri temple charge will be Rs 80, said a senior TGSRTC officer. The first bus will depart from JBS at 7 am, and the last will leave at 3.30 pm, he added.

The incident is not real; the viral video was created using VFX and editing techniques.

Those sharing the video claim that the incident took place in Hyderabad, where a man performed a dangerous stunt to make a reel. A user sharing the viral video wrote , “In a bid to make #reel, a youngster risked his life by doing a dangerous stunt by suddenly lying on the road in front of a running bus in #Hyderabad. The stunt video is now going viral on #SocialMedia, triggering outrage among netizens.” An archived version of the post can be seen here.

Reverse-searching the keyframes of the viral video led us to an Instagram account, creative_saii , where the video was first posted on June 16, 2024, with the caption asking if it is edited or real. The video has 20k shares and about 1,400 comments. The account belongs to a video editor who posts educational tutorials on video editing techniques.

Through the video, we found another account, creative_better_things , which was tagged in the viral video. This account’s bio contained a link to a Google Drive folder hosting several videos about editing and marketing tutorials. In the drive, we found a similar video of a man walking on a road in traffic and suddenly coming under a moving car. All of this gave us reason to believe that the viral video could be edited. KUALA LUMPUR: The driver of the tour bus that crashed on the way down from Genting Highlands at about 11am on Saturday (June 29), killing two tourists from China, does not have a driving licence and has a record of traffic violations.

Bentong police chief Supt Zaiham Mohd Kahar said further investigation into the 32-year-old bus driver revealed that he had 27 previous traffic summonses for various offences.

According to Zaiham, the two male victims who died at the scene were identified as Zhang Ping, 58, and Wang Shuhong, 49.

He said the accident involved 18 foreign tourists, along with the bus driver, an assistant, and a tourist guide.

"The bodies of the two victims were taken to Bentong Hospital, along with six injured victims, while 13 other injured victims were taken to Kuala Lumpur Hospital," he said on Saturday.

Earlier, Bernama reported that two China nationals died after their tour bus skidded and hit a road divider at KM 16.5 of Jalan Turun Genting Highlands, Pahang, on its way to the capital. — Bernama
