Upon arrival in the KATHMANDU International airport, Gokyo Treks & Expedition agency’s representative will welcome in airport. After greetings, we transfer you to the Kapan Monastery as per the spiritual tour plan we discussed on email.

Monastery at Kapan hill is famous for its serene atmosphere and stunning views of Kathmandu Valley. It is a renowned Tibetan Buddhist monastery known for its teachings on Buddhist philosophy and meditation practices. Namo Buddha is famous for its significance in Buddhist mythology. It is the place where a prince, in a previous life of the Buddha, sacrificed himself to a hungry tigress and her cubs. After taking breakfast, our driver will pick you up from Namoboudha for UNESCO heritage sites for sightseeing. Today, we visit Bhaktapur Durbar Square, where you can see typical Newari culture with old durbar that have been built in 12 to 15 centuries. Additionally, we again visit to Kathmandu durbar square where you visit Kumari the living goddess before reaching the hotel.

Spiritual Tour in Nepal is specially designed for devotees to visit the most popular temples in Nepal. On this 7 days trip, you make it to quite a few of them.

Starting from Pashupatinath temple - one of the most renowned Hindu temples dedicated to Lord Shiva, - located on the bank of Bagmati river in the capital city of Kathmandu.

Thousands of devotees come to worship this temple which is built in pagoda style and has a golden crown. There is a belief that Nepal and Nepalese are blessed and protected by Lord Pashupatinath. This temple occupies 0.64 hectares of land with more than 500 temples and monuments alongside the holy river - Bagmati. 

From Pashupatinath, you are taken to the Boudhanath stupa . Boudhanath is the largest Stupa in South Asia stupa & worshipped especially by Buddhist followers as a symbol of Lord Buddha. The unique thing about the stupa area is that the atmosphere surrounding it is very enchanting and peaceful.

Next, you are then driven to Patan Durbar Square at Lalitpur district. It is a place where many temples are located within a small periphery. All the temples are built on a unique and distinct style and have their own values. You can spend time on the periphery of Patan Durbar Square, take photos, and have lunch in the nearby restaurants.

The next day, you start your trip towards the Manakamana temple  - three hours of drive from Kathmandu. The literal meaning of "Mana" means mind and "kamana" is fulfilling. Devotees believe that if prayed wholeheartedly - your wishes come true. 

Manakamana temple has a Magar priest - as opposed to the brahmin priest, which is a unique tradition in itself. In the evening, you can see the devotees praying in the temple and the ringing sound of holy bells is very pleasant to the ears. You can rejuvenate your soul . From Manakamana Mandir (temple), you can further hike to Bakreshwor Temple.

The next day, you visit Budhanilkantha Mandir , the temple with the unique shaped statue of Lord Vishnu in a sleeping position.

From Budhanilkantha, you are taken to Swayambhunath Stupa/Temple situated at the hilltop, from where you can get the amazing views of Kathmandu valley. Swayambhunath is worshipped by both Buddhists and Hindus. Also sometimes called the monkey temple as tons of monkeys to roam around freely in the periphery.

From Swayambhunath temple, you are taken to the Kathmandu Durbar Square . The Durbar square is the most happening heritage site in Kathmandu valley. Darbar means palace in Nepali and this palace was home to king and queens in history, thus, has its own unique value.

Also, you can visit the Kumari Ghar . Kumari (a Living Goddess), is worshipped by the Buddhists and Newar people. There are many temples and architecture to explore around. You can take pictures and learn so much about the history of ancient Nepal.

The next day, after early breakfast, you immediately leave for Chandragiri . Chandragiri has both cultural as well as historical value in Nepal. Culturally - there is a Shiva temple located at the top of the hill and historically, as The Great King Prithvi Narayan Shah (unifier of small kingdoms of Nepal into one), first got attracted to the Kathmandu valley when he saw the view from the top of this hill.

You take the cable car ride to reach the top and enjoy the view as well as be a devotee to the temple. After that, you head towards Kirtipur valley, which has been able to preserve its culture and tradition to date. It is resided mostly by the Newar community thus, you can try varieties of Newari food here in Kirtipur. There are many temples situated, the view is amazing from the valley, nonetheless, you get to see the culture and lifestyle of the people.

Itinerary details.

We heartily welcome you to our beautiful country Nepal. We meet at the airport then drive you to the hotel. Overnight at the hotel.

After breakfast, you are taken to Pashupatinath Temple, Boudhanath Stupa and Patan Durbar Square. Halt for lunch at Patan Durbar Square. Drive back to the Hotel.

After early breakfast, you are driven towards Manakamana. It will take about 3 hours to reach there. Once you reach to the base of the temple, you take a ropeway to the temple. Visit the temple and if you are interested then you can further go towards Bakreshwor Mahadev temple.

You go to the temple for early morning prayers. Then you get back to the lodge for breakfast. After breakfast, get down on a cable car and driven back to Kathmandu. Overnight at the hotel in Kathmandu.

(Note: If you are interested in rafting, then you can do the rafting before getting back to Kathmandu. The duration will be for about 3 hours and it can be done at an additional cost).

After breakfast, you are driven to Budhanilkantha, which is a temple of Lord Vishnu. After you visit the temple and do praying, you can take pictures here. After that, you are driven back to Swoyambhunath Stupa, from where the Kathmandu valley can be viewed. After exploring Swoyambhunath you will be taken to Kathmandu Durbar Square. Here you will get to see the ancient architectural building. You can have lunch around the Durbar Square area. And then, you will be taken back to the hotel for overnight stay.

After morning breakfast, you will be driven to Chandragiri for the cable car ride to Bhaleshwor Temple and awe-inspiring view of Kathmandu Valley. After that, you are driven towards, Kirtipur valley. You can try some local Newari dishes popular in this area. After having lunch at Kirtipur you are driven back to the hotel.

You are free on your own for the rest of the time. You can buy souvenirs for you and your friends and family back home.

In the evening, you will be enjoying a farewell dinner with our representative from Himalayan trekkers. Overnight at the hotel.

Upon your arrival at Tribhuvan International Airport in Kathmandu, one of our representatives from Aarya Village Travel shall meet, assist and transfer you to your hotel. 7 am: Breakfast at Hotel 8 am: check out and drive to Boudhanath: 40 minutes. Sightseeing at Boudhanath.We spend an hour at Boudhanath. This is one of the UNESCO World Heritage sites and is one of the most imposing landmarks in Kathmandu. It is the largest stupa in the Kathmandu Valley. The 36-meter-high stupa of Boudha is massive and dominates the skyline in the area, it is one of the largest unique structures in the world. With countless monasteries around it, Boudha is the center of Tibetan Buddhism in Nepal. From above, Boudhanath Stupa looks like a giant mandala, or diagram of the Buddhist cosmos and as in all Tibetan mandalas, four of the Dhyani Buddhas mark the cardinal points, with the fifth, Vairocana, enshrined in the center (in the white hemisphere of the stupa). Later drive to Pashupatinath: 20 minutes. Sightseeing at Pashupatinath. We spend an hour at Pashupatinath Drive to airport: 15 minutes. A famous, sacred Hindu temple dedicated to lord Shiva is located on the banks of the Bagmati River. Dating back to the 5th century. While the main temple interior is off limits to non-Hindus there is a lot to experience in the surrounding area. Legend says that whoever comes here to worship Shiva will be reborn as an animal. Pashupatinath is a considerable comlex of temples, ashrams, with images and inscriptions dating back centuries. We reach by 11:30 am at airport (one hour before flight) 12:30-12:50: Fly to Chitwan Drive to Kasara/ Barahi Resort: 45 minutes drive Briefing and lunch at resort 1:45- 2:45: Lunch time 3-5 Pm: Elephant Safari at community forest 5 pm onward: Village walk/ ox cart ride 6:30 pm onward: Tharu cultural dance performance by villagers 7:30 pm: Dinner at resort

6-7 am: Yoga session by our guide 7-8 am: Nature walk and bird watching Breakfast at resort till 9 am 9-12 am: canoe ride and elephant bathing & briefing 12-4 pm: jeep safari in National park with packed or picnic lunch Till 6pm: jungle walk with naturalist guide, village exploration 6 pm onward: presentation on flora and fauna 7:30 pm onward: dinner at resort

6-7am yoga session 7:30-8:30 am Breakfast at resort Check out and transfer to airport by 10:30 am Bharatpur to Pokhara 11:30- 11:50 15 minutes drive to Hotel from Pokhara airport. check in 1 pm: Lunch at good Chinese restaurant (10 minutes drive) an hour time for lunch 2 pm: Sightseeing at Pokhara city: Sightseeing at World peace pagoda ( half an hour drive to reach Peace pagoda) we spend maximum an hour at peace stupa. It is the first World Peace Pagoda in Nepal. The pagoda is 115 feet tall and 344 feet in diameter. The white pagoda has two tiers for tourists and religious visitors to circumambulate. Drive back and visit Devis fall: and Gupteswor cave on the way back 4 pm: Boating at Phewa Lake for an hour. Visit Barahi Temple in the middle of Lake. We will take you for an hour boating at Phewa Lake. Visit Tala Barahi temple in the middle of Lake. Admire the stunning reflection of the Fish Tail Peak over the bluish Phewa Lake water. 5 pm onward: free to scroll around lakeside 7 pm: Dinner at Hotel

5am drive to Sarangkot for 30 minutes. Sunrise view (normally the sun rise in between 6 to 6:30) .Situated at an altitude of 1,592m, Sarangkot offers the magnificent view of Sunrise over Mt. Machhapuchhre, Dhaulagiri and Annapurna Massif (weather permitting). Return back to hotel for Breakfast. 8 am: Breakfast at Hotel (if you want yoga this day then only possibility is after back to hotel from sarangkot) Paragliding is optional. The first flight will be at 9:30 am and it's 25 minutes flight. Land at lakeside and drive back hotel by 11:30 am. Transfer to airport by 12:00 (15 minutes drive) Pokhara Kathmandu 13:15 13:40 YT 680 Arrival assistance and drive to good restaurant for lunch 2-3 pm .Check in hotel and drive to Swayambhunath (30 minutes drive to swayambhunath) Sightseeing at Swayambhunath (spend half an hour at swayambhunath) Drive to Thamel (40minutes) Rickshaw ride at Old Kathmandu and Durbar square . We will spend an hour at Durbar square and get to see living goddess 6 pm onward free time at Thamel and drive to hotel 8 pm: Dinner at hotel

Day 01: Arrival at the Tribhuvan International Airport

10 days spiritual tour in Nepal starts from the moment you step into Tribhuvan International Airport. You will meet our company representative at the airport. And they will take you to your hotel in Thamel. In the evening, you will meet company officials. And on this day you will enjoy a special welcome dinner. Next day tour information will be given. So, surely you will spend that night in Kathmandu with beautiful dreams.

Day 02: Visit to Swayambhunath, Boudhanath and Kapan Gumba

In 10 days spiritual tour in Nepal, you will see these 3 places.

• Swayambhunatha :- Today after you finish your breakfast, we will leave for Swayambhunath. Swayambhunath is located on a hill in Kathmandu. and is an important center for Newar Buddhists. The morning atmosphere is filled with prayers, the smell of incense and naughty monkeys. There are other temples worth visiting near the alley.

• Baudhanath :- As per our schedule we will leave for Boudhanath around 10 am. The drive can take around 1 hour (depending on traffic conditions). Boudhanath Stupa is huge and full of Tibetan monks. and is one of the UNESCO World Heritage Sites. You can attain peace by observing prayers and taking part in Pradakshina.

• Kapan Gumba :- To the north of Boudha is Kapan Gumba. This Gumba sits on a hill and overlooks the Kathmandu valley. Gumba has some entry restrictions. It has thangka paintings, a library and monks also live there. They practice Buddhism. And if you ask, they can share some secrets with you. You will stay overnight in Kathmandu. 

Day 3 Go to Manakamana and proceed to Pokhara

Today we are going to Manakaman temple. This temple is located in Gorkha. To reach there, we have to travel through the earth’s highway. This journey takes around 3-4 hours. Then we are moving to Kurintar. From there we ride in a cable car. The Manakaman temple is dedicated to Bhagwati, an incarnation of Parvati. This temple has a magical atmosphere. And it creates a happy mood.

After lunch we will proceed to Pokhara. It will take additional 3-4 hours. Arrangements are made for overnight stay in Pokhara itself.

Day 4: Visiting the Tal Barahi temple and Bindabasini temple

• Tal Barahi Temple :- A 10-day spiritual tour in Nepal on the fourth day, we are going to Tal Barahi Temple. This temple is dedicated to Goddess Bhagwati. And Phewa is in the middle of the lake. It is accessible only by boat. Morning worship is held there. That time is worth a visit. The temple is two storeyed high. And this temple is built in pagoda style.

• Bindabasini Temple :- Bindabasini Temple was seen by the King of Kaski in his dream. This temple is built in Shikara style. And it is coated with white paint. This temple is dedicated to Bhagwati. Day 05: Travel from Pokhara to Tansen

With the team of ‘10 days spiritual tour in Nepal’, this is your 5th day. Today we get up early and head towards Tansen, Palpa. For this journey we will travel by private bus. And we use Siddhartha Highway. The journey takes around 3 hours (depending on traffic conditions and nature of the highway). After the journey we reach Bhagwati temple. And understand its history. The temple is built on pagoda theme. And this temple is very beautiful. Climb the Srinagar Hill and find yourself near the Siddhi Binayak Temple. Historians believe that the temple was built with the help of artisans from Kathmandu. At the end of this day we will visit Bhimasena temple. These wonderful places give tourists important knowledge about the prevailing culture and it soothes the soul. Arrangements are made for overnight stay at Tansen.

Day 06: Spiritual tour to Nepal: Travel from Tansen to Lumbini

Today we will take you to Lumbini by road. We also use Siddhartha Highway for this journey. Lumbini is located in the Terai region. Because of this it is hot and humid. Lumbini has several places around it that are worth visiting. For starters, we head towards the Maya Devi Temple and the Ashoka Pillar. Lord Buddha was born in this temple. The temple is thousands of years old. We will visit Vishwa Shanti Pagoda and Maths. This pagoda is similar to the one in Pokhara. Speaking in this enclosure is not recommended. Here you can also see people peacefully meditating with pindrop silence. After visiting the pagoda we will leave to visit the monasteries. Day 07: Visit Tilaurakot

Tilaurakot is a small village near Lumbini. This village is very much associated with Lord Buddha. Archaeologists have found ruins of ancient forts and small temples here. After a short drive from the hotel we reach this Tilaurakot. Here you can understand the importance of archeology by interacting with the locals. You will spend this night in Lumbini.

Day 08: Return to Kathmandu by flight

On Day 8 of the Nepal Spiritual Tour we return to Kathmandu by plane. The flight takes about 35 minutes. And it offers spectacular views of the snowy mountains. After arrival in Kathmandu we will have lunch and leave to visit Patan Durbar Square.

Patan Durbar Square was built by the Malla kings. And it is one of the UNESCO World Heritage Sites in Kathmandu. On this day we will also visit Krishna Temple, Bhimasena Temple and Suvarna Mandir. After all these visits we will finally stay in Kathmandu that night.

Day 09: Visit the Bhaktapur Durbar Square and Changunarayan temple

10 days spiritual tour in Nepal On this 9th day we will visit the famous Bhaktapur Durbar Square and Changunarayan Temple. It takes approximately an hour drive or more to get there. Durbar Square is said to have been built by the ancient Malla kings. This Durbar square consists of a palace of 55 windows and a golden gate. If you want to experience peace, this is the place to visit. Changunarayan Temple is located a short distance from Bhaktapur Durbar Square. This temple is a temple of Lord Vishnu. This temple is considered as the oldest temple in Nepal. It is built in pagoda style. This big temple also includes other smaller temples. After the tour we will return to the hotel. There you will attend a farewell dinner. After dinner stay overnight in Kathmandu.

Day 10: Departure from Kathmandu

This is the last day you spend with our 10 days spiritual tour in Nepal team. On this day, you will end your spiritual tour of Nepal, which started from Kathmandu, in Kathmandu itself. Our representative will drop you at Tribhuvan International Airport. We hope you have a wonderful time with us. Day to Day Itinerary

Day 1 arrival ..

Upon arrival in Nepal airport, Himalayan Asia Treks representative welcome in airport. Then transfer to Kapan Monastery and discuss about program with Himalayan Asia Treks Staff. Overnight in Kapan monastery. 

• Meals: Dinner
• Accommodation: Monastery
• Location: Kathmandu

Day 2 Mediation and puja with Buddhist lama.

At early morning in Kapan Monastery ,  Lama start to worshipping in gompa and you can join in puja. At day time , there is some meditation class inside gompa. You will learn about life on spiritual way.  Overnight in Kapan Monastery.  

• Meals: Breakfast, Lunch and Dinner.

Day 3 Mediation and Puja.

At early morning , Lama start to worshipping in gompa and you can join in puja. At day time , there is some meditation class inside gompa. You will learn about life on spiritual way. Overnight in Kapan Monastery.  

Day 4 Boudhanath and drive towards Namoboudha.

After taking breakfast, we drive towards Boudhanath Stupa and then drive towards Namoboudha. Overnight in Namobuddha. 

• Location: Namobuddha

Day 5 Mediation in Namoboudha.

Full day Meditation and puja with Buddhist lama Namo Buddha Monastery.  Overnight in Namobuddha.   

Day 6 Drive towards Bhaktapur Durbar Square, Kathmandu Durbar Square, Kumari temple and Pharping.

After taking breakfast, our driver will pick up from Namoboudha. Today, we visit Bhaktapur Durbar Square , where you can see typical Newari culture with old durbar. Then transfer to Kathmandu durbar square where you visit Kumari the living goddess. After visiting this place drive towards Pharping monastery. Overnight in Pharping monastery. 

• Location: Pharping

Day 7 Pharping and Dakshinkali.

Today, we visit different monastery and Dakhsinkali: the goddess .We can do meditation and worship at monastery with lama. Overnight in Pharping.

Day 8 Morning meditation and visit old city Kirtipur city.

Half day with Lama and after lunch we drive to Kirtipur city where you can see typical Newari culture with different historical place. Overnight in Pharping Monastery.

Day 9 Patan durbar square and shopping and drive towards Swayambhunath.

After taking breakfast, we move towards Patan Durbar Square and Swayambhunath Stupa. Overnight in Bechen monastery.

• Location: Swayambhunath

Day 10 Departure.

After taking breakfast in hotel, Himalayan Asia Treks representative transfer towards airport as per your schedule with keeping Nepal Spiritual Tour's memory.
