Reviews From Our Guests

“We had the most amazing experience with both the scenic and whitewater rafting adventure! Our scenic guide, Jake, was knowledgeable and kind. Our whitewater raft guide, Spencer, was totally funny, knowledgeable, and personable. An awesome trip indeed!!! Totally recommend.”

Veronica Nelson

“I am not a person who regularly writes reviews, but our family of four had the most amazing experience with Teton Whitewater. 100% of the staff members we encountered were exceptionally friendly and helpful. You can tell that the employees care about making sure the rafting experience is fun and exciting for everyone. The bathrooms and rented wetsuits were clean and in good condition. I had some questions before the trip and my emails were always answered within 15 minutes of when I sent them. Our guide, Spencer, was outstanding. It was obvious that he was experienced and knowledgeable. Our raft had a great time getting to know each other and Spencer made sure he got to know each of us, as well. As we drove away after the trip my two teenagers said that this experience was the coolest thing we have ever done on a trip. Thank you all for the great family experience that will last a lifetime.”

Abigail Turgeon

“Most fun I have had in years! Awesome adventure with the best staff imaginable. I could not have been happier with my experience.”

“Just an all around great experience! The staff is so kind and friendly. I felt like I was among friends from the moment I walked in the door. The float was beautiful. The bus ride had great music. I felt like safety was a high priority throughout the entire event. Everyone in our group left with a smile and some incredible memories. Thanks so much for an awesome river experience!!”

John Parker

Questions just ask..

None! Roughly half of our customers that we take down the river have never been whitewater rafting. All of our guides know this and go over a very detailed safety speech in which they will personally go around and show you how to sit and the best ways to keep yourself in the boat. To help ease some nerves, there are two great benefits to this river for first-timers. The first half of the trip is fairly mellow. You’ll get wet, but it is not too daunting. This allows you the time to get used to being in the boat. You are not going to be thrown into the boat and hit the biggest wave of the trip in the first five minutes. The second half of the trip is where all the bigger waves are. The other nice thing about the Snake River is that it is classified as a “Pool and drop river”, which basically means that after every section of waves, you are going to have a nice calm section afterwards before you hit your next set of waves. So you have time to sit back and relax and enjoy the beautiful scenery of the canyon between waves. The people who were nervous usually have the best time!

For whitewater our age limit for kids is usually 6 years old, there are some times of the year we could talk about adventurous 5 year olds. Just give us a call! For our scenic trips the youngest we will take is 4 years old.

There are certain water levels during the run-off season where we may raise our age limit. Please give us a call to discuss if you have more questions.

Our river trips leave as scheduled rain or shine. Don’t worry we are prepared! Find our rafting in rain the resources here. For whitewater we have wetsuits and booties available to rent that will make the trip enjoyable!  For the scenic, if a storm happens to come in we have ponchos on all the boats. However, we reserve the right to cancel or shorten a trip due to extreme weather conditions that would cause the trip to be unsafe. Whitewater rafting is a wet activity by nature, and assuming that you are dressed appropriately, we think this is the best outdoor activity for a rainy day! I f that is something you are not comfortable with, it is the responsibility of the party to cancel outside of our respective cancellation polices to receive a full refund.

Difficulty Rating:

The Snake River through Hells Canyon is rated Class III-IV whitewater. It is a large volume river with drop-pool style rapids, meaning a rapid is followed by a large pool of calm water. This section consists of mostly Class III rapids with a few Class IV’s. Many of these rapids are described as roller-coaster waves creating a fun and enjoyable ride appropriate for most physical abilities, including children ages 7 and up. Many boat landings are rocky and require walking varied distances on uneven terrain. Once at camp, the terrain is usually open and forgiving. All hiking is optional and easy to moderate difficulty.

Here are the boats we offer on our trips.

Trips start and end in Cambridge, ID

Evening before Departure:  Enjoy a stay in the Cambridge, ID area and we will meet for a pre-trip meeting, provide dry bags for packing and answer any questions.

Day 1:  After an early morning departure and a scenic drive along several reservoirs, we arrive at Hells Canyon Dam and prepare to begin our river adventure. Our first day starts off with a bang with several Class II-III rapids. The trout fishing is exceptional during the first day in the swift moving water. Lunch is served riverside usually with an option for a short hike or time to relax, swim or fish. After lunch, the Class IV whitewater rapids are fun, big and splashy.  In the afternoon, boats pull into camp where tents will be ready and waiting. Relaxing in camp, fishing, swimming, hiking and playing beach games is encouraged at camp. Each night a delicious gourmet meal is prepared from our river kitchen: appetizers, delicious entrées, fresh baked Dutch Oven breads and decadent desserts.

Days 2-3: After sleeping under the stars, coffee will be brewing and breakfast will soon follow. Bags will be packed and boats will be boarded. Phenomenal whitewater follows with calm swimming pools, great fishing holes, rich history, tasty food, and fun. This is when the magic of a river trip happens: no clocks, no cell phones, no computers; just you, the group and your beautiful surroundings. The evening will be similar to the previous night at a camp further down river.

Last Day: Breakfast, followed by more raft time and lunch, then heading back to Cambridge. Arrive back in Cambridge in the early evening.

Note for booking departing flights after the trip: There’s a lot of travel time from the river on the last day. We do not recommend flying out on the final day of a river trip. Please call or email us with questions about appropriate flight times and airport choices: 208-347-3862.

History & Wildlife

Snake River White Water Rafting

Hells Canyon, which the Snake River flows through, is the deepest river gorge in North America. It was formed over millions of years ago through a combination of geological processes, including volcanic activity, tectonic plate movements, and erosion.

The Snake River itself was named by the Shoshone tribe, who lived in the area. They called the river “Yin-suti-pa,” which means “coiled serpent” in reference to its winding course. Over time, early European-American settlers began referring to it as the “Snake River,” likely because of this description.

There are a few theories about how the naming of Hells Canyon came about. One of the more common explanations is that the name reflects the harsh, inaccessible nature of the canyon. Early travelers and settlers likely found the steep, rocky terrain and extreme temperature variations reminiscent of a ‘hellish’ landscape.

The Snake River Canyon unveils a remarkable ecological tapestry. It boasts a notable concentration of rare and endemic plant species, like Macfarlane’s four-o’clock, bartonberry, prickly pear, and vibrant wildflowers, setting it apart in the Pacific Northwest and western North America.

Within this area diverse wildlife thrives in various habitats creating one of the nation’s most diverse ecosystems. Elevation fluctuations, ranging from 1,500 feet along the Snake River and to 9,393 feet in Idaho’s Seven Devils Mountains, allow distinct plant communities to flourish side by side. These habitats, in turn, provide homes for a variety of wildlife families, totaling around 350 species that call this area home throughout the year.

The Snake River’s renown extends to its diverse fish population. A distinguished sport fishery, it is celebrated for sturgeon, salmon, steelhead, rainbow trout, and walleye. Of special note is Hells Canyon’s role as a sanctuary for immense white sturgeon, some reaching over 1,000 pounds.

The richness of the canyon’s biodiversity is not limited to flora and fish. A captivating array of wildlife flourishes here, including peregrine falcons, bald eagles, big horn sheep, mountain goats, chukar flocks, black bears, and mountain lions. This vibrant mix of species adds to the allure of the canyon, establishing it as a truly exceptional and multifaceted natural gem.

What to Do in Truckee

Acknowledging ancestral lands.

As we journey down the Snake River, we’ll pass through lands rich in history and culture. These territories belong to the Nimiipuu (Nez Perce), The Confederated Tribes of the Umatilla Indian Reservation: Cayuse, Umatilla, and Walla Walla, as well as the Palouse Tribes represented by the Confederated Tribes of the Colville Reservation. Recognizing these communities is a way of honoring their legacy, their lives, and their descendants.

Acknowledging the Indigenous communities whose lands we visit is a crucial step in understanding our shared history and the ongoing challenges faced by these populations today. For more insight, visit our Territory Acknowledgement page. We encourage you to learn about the people whose land we’re privileged to explore by following the links above.

Our Territory Acknowledgement is an evolving project. If you find missing information or acknowledgments, please share it with us. Together, we can ensure accuracy, inclusivity, and respect. Thank you.

Step 1 of 2

Nothing compares to rafting Hells Canyon in Idaho, home of the mighty Snake River and the deepest gorge in North America.

Marking the border between Idaho and Oregon, Idaho’s Hells Canyon plunges to depths of nearly 8,000 feet between the Seven Devils range to the east and Oregon’s rim country to the west. Through this tremendous gorge, the Snake River’s warm, clear waters yield some of the best big waves and whitewater rapids in the U.S. Northwest. In calmer sections, the Snake River serves up great Idaho fishing opportunities. Hells Canyon’s watery bliss is matched by its stunning rockscapes and the intriguing remnants of past inhabitants, creating a rich river adventure that’s hard to beat. Warm weather, warm water, and fun rapids make this a great trip for kids, parents, and grandparents of nearly any age.

Trip Highlights

  • Enjoy a scenic flight over the canyon
  • Raft Class III rapids through the deepest gorge in North America
  • Visit Kirkwood Historic Ranch & Museum
  • Hike to Native American pictographs
  • Dories, rafts, inflatable kayaks & SUPs
  • Search for eagles, falcons, and owls, as well as over 100 other species of birds that call Hells Canyon home

What to Expect

Itinerary & Map

Itinerary at a glance.

We pride ourselves in running a relaxed and flexible schedule. Every Snake River rafting trip through Hells Canyon is different depending upon the group, other trips on the water, camp locations, and sometimes the weather. The following is a sample of what your trip might be like:

The Day Before Your Trip

The evening before your trip, we’ll meet for a pre-trip orientation in Lewiston, ID. This is an opportunity to meet your fellow travelers and trip leader, and ask any last-minute questions.

We’ll meet early for our departure from the Lewiston airport on a charter flight to Halfway, Oregon. An appropriate introduction to our journey ahead, this flight offers a spectacular bird’s-eye view of our pathway through Hells Canyon and is often considered a favorite highlight of the trip. From the landing strip, we’ll shuttle to our put-in point just below Hells Canyon Dam, where our colorful boats and your OARS crew await. After an informative safety talk and some brief paddle raft/inflatable kayak instruction, we’re off on our river adventure!

The first day generally sets the pace for our river trip. Typically, after some time on the water, we pull over and enjoy a delicious picnic on the shores of the river. After feasting and relaxing (or perhaps swimming, a game of Frisbee, or a nature walk), we get back in our boats for more exciting whitewater.

Mid-to-late-afternoon, we stop and make camp. Before long, you’ll be savoring pleasing hors d’oeuvres and the beverage of your choice—delicious as these refreshments are, they always taste better after a day on the river! Read, nap, or just sit back and laugh with friends and family as we prepare dinner. After a satisfying feast, the evening is yours to spend however you wish. Maybe music, stories, or jokes will bring us together tonight; perhaps the popping of the fire, the whisper of the river, and the clarity of the big, star-filled sky will encourage silent reflection on the amazing wilderness that is, for now, our home.

Your day begins with the morning light turning the canyon walls the colors of sunrise.  Once you’ve eaten your fill at breakfast, you’ll pack up your things as the guides break down camp.

Today is an exciting whitewater day, culminating in two of Hells Canyon’s biggest rapids: Wild Sheep and Granite. Our anticipation builds as we stop at the top of each rapid, looking down at the thundering whitewater that awaits us. Those who are skilled enough to paddle inflatable kayaks get some last-minute instruction before challenging the big waves and drops.  We all fly through the frothy rapids, coming out slightly wet (maybe very wet!) but elated.

As the roiling rapids give way to more gentle stretches, we may stop and hike up Granite Creek for viewing Native American pictographs. Or perhaps we’ll float down to Bernard Creek for a hike to McGaffee Cabin—a homestead preserved from the early 1900s—and panels of pictographs.

This section of the Snake River offers excellent trout fishing. During periods of calmer water, or perhaps at lunch, the anglers in the group will have some great opportunities to cast their line in deep pools.

Whitewater action continues with big hits like Waterspout, Rush Creek, Somers Creek, Tryon, Lookout Creek, Five Pine, Wild Goose, and Deer Head rapids—some of which are great for swimming!

A visit to Kirkwood Historic Ranch and Museum provides a taste of living history, exhibiting the lifestyle of Hells Canyon’s inhabitants in the 1930s. This is also the site of extensive historic and prehistoric Indigenous artifacts, which are displayed and interpreted in the Kirkwood Museum. This scenic ranch is a must-see on any Snake River rafting trip. Further downstream, Pittsburg Landing offers an even more fascinating look at the life of the early Native Americans in Hells Canyon. Lodge rings, petroglyphs, and other artifacts still remaining on the shore teach us more about the inhabitants who prospered for thousands of years along the Snake River. At Pittsburg Landing, our take-out for this short and sweet Hells Canyon rafting adventure, we’ll say goodbye to our guides. From here, it’s a three-hour ride back to Lewiston.

Meeting Time & Place

A visit to Kirkwood Historic Ranch and Museum provides a taste of living history, exhibiting the lifestyle of Hells Canyon’s inhabitants in the 1930s. This is also the site of extensive historic and prehistoric Indigenous artifacts, which are displayed and interpreted in the Kirkwood Museum. This scenic ranch is a must-see on any Snake River trip. Lodge rings, petroglyphs, and other artifacts still remaining on the shore teach us more about the inhabitants who prospered for thousands of years along the Snake River.

As the water becomes calmer, we’ll refocus our attention on the rocky canyon walls, looking for resident wildlife—including bear, deer, elk, mountain goats, and bighorn sheep—and marveling at the majestic beauty of the gorge.

Those looking for a challenging climb might have the chance to negotiate the steep but scenic trail to Suicide Point. Panels of Native American rock art are highlights of possible hikes to Temperance Creek and Deep Creek. Other interesting destinations for the avid to explore are Salt Creek and Coon Hollow.

Day 4 or 5 (Depending on trip length)

Depending on our individual trip’s schedule on the final day, we could have an early start and get underway after a cold breakfast, or we may enjoy a hearty breakfast and a more leisurely pace.

Our final day’s float brings us past the Snake’s confluence with three major rivers: the Imnaha, Salmon, and Grande Ronde.  The river volume more than doubles, and we’ll see evidence of development as we continue our float.  A motor may be used on the last portion of flat water to the take-out point at Heller Bar, where we bid farewell to our guides for a 45-minute shuttle ride to Lewiston.

The number and variety of boats on an OARS trip will vary based on water levels, the number of participants, and other factors we take into account when planning your adventure. Please be aware that in doing so we will ask you to share boat time with your fellow travelers. We don’t assign boats, nor can we guarantee exactly which crafts we bring, but trust us to provide you with the best possible mix for you and others on your trip.

Learn more about the OARS Fleet and the boats that may be a part of your experience: Oar raft , dory , inflatable kayak , stand-up paddleboard , and paddle raft (requires 11 or more trip guests).

After each active day on the river, we pull ashore to camp for the night. Our first task is to unload the boats using a fire-line of crew and guests to expedite the process. Individuals then collect their waterproof bags and locate an area on the beach to camp for the night.

While you put up your tent, the guides will set up the kitchen and central dining/seating area with camp chairs. They will also locate a secluded area away from camp to set up the portable toilet, where privacy is assured.

As guides prepare dinner, hors d’oeuvres are served. This is an opportunity to relax, enjoy a drink if you wish, and reflect on the day with your fellow traveling companions.

In the morning, the first wake-up call lets you know that coffee, hot water for tea or cocoa, juice, fresh fruit, and cold cereal are ready. You can fill your mug and grab a bite, then begin to pack up your personal belongings and sleep gear as the guides prepare breakfast.

After breakfast, the entire camp is broken down and packed up. Once the guides have all of the gear loaded back onto the boats, we’ll head downstream to see what new adventures await us.

More info about Meals & Dietary Restrictions can be found on our Trip Resources page.

Average Air & Water Temperatures

snake river rafting tours

The dam-controlled Snake River flows steadily all season long, creating powerful Class III rapids and, in certain water levels, a few adrenaline-pumping Class IVs. Exuberant drops and roller-coaster wave trains provide an exciting ride, whether you’re challenging the whitewater hands-on in a paddle raft or inflatable kayak, bucking through the rapids in a hard-hulled dory, or just holding on as you plow right through in a stable oar boat. Periodic stretches of calm water offer plenty of chances to swim in the cooling river.

Before booking your trip with OARS, there are a few important considerations we’d like you to know about.

  • Physical Requirements: Your outdoor adventure will be an active participatory trip. Please inform us of any physical limitations you may have as soon as possible. If you exceed 260 pounds, please give us a call. Make sure you are exercising frequently in the months leading up to your trip and can meet our Essential Eligibility Criteria .
  • Whitewater Orientation: To increase your safety, we expect everyone to watch our Whitewater Orientation video before joining us.
  • Trip Forms: Each participant will need to complete the required trip forms within two weeks of making a booking. Refer to your confirmation email for the link to the online forms. If you prefer to fill out paper forms, please let us know right away. If you are reserving within 60 days of departure, your forms must be completed immediately to ensure we can properly plan for your trip.

Reservations and Payments

A $400/person deposit is required at the time of booking with final payment due 60 days before departure. Accounts on which final payment has not been received 50 days before the departure date will be canceled.

Payments can be made by check, money order, eCheck, wire transfer, Visa, MasterCard, American Express, or Discover. Prices are in US Dollars, and all payments must be made in US Dollars. Payment of the deposit establishes your acceptance of our complete Terms and Conditions. Individual departures and trip capacity are strictly limited by the managing agency. Your payment is fully refundable for 7 days, less a 3% processing fee, after making a reservation when you reserve a trip 7 days or more prior to the final payment due date.

Cancellations and Refunds

Canceling your trip after your deposit is processed will incur cancellation fees because OARS has absorbed costs on your behalf and will turn others away who would like to book the spaces we’re holding for you. If you must cancel your reservation after the rescission period described above, your cancellation fee will be determined according to the schedule below.

We regret that we cannot make exceptions to the cancellation policy for any reason, including foul weather, poor air quality, wildfire activity, acts of terrorism, civil unrest, or personal emergencies. For these reasons, we strongly urge you to consider purchasing a travel protection plan .

Please note that different deposit/cancellation policies may apply for charter groups. Refer to the group organizer’s confirmation email for details.

Canceled Trips

OARS reserves the right to cancel any trip due to insufficient registration or other factors that make the trip impractical to operate. In such instances, we will inform you at least 45 days prior to departure. Do not make non-refundable travel arrangements until you have verified with OARS that your trip is confirmed.

If a trip must be canceled or postponed due to force majeure (factors outside the control of OARS), OARS will provide full credit for payments made toward future travel, or a refund less the initial deposit amount and any non-refundable payments made on your behalf to 3rd-party suppliers. OARS will make good faith efforts to recover deposits made on your behalf to 3rd-party suppliers; however, we cannot guarantee recovery of any or all of the advance payments made. OARS is not responsible for expenses incurred by participants in preparation for a canceled trip.

If you need to move your reservation to a different trip during the same season, or to a credit account for the following year, there is a $25/person fee up until 90 days before departure for a one-time transfer of your payment. Transfer requests made 89 days or less before departure will be treated like a cancellation according to the schedule above.

I have gone rafting with Teton Expeditions for the past three years, and have had immensely enjoyed myself each time. The staff was very friendly and made the trip a blast ! I had the opportunity to go with my favorite guide, Captain Ron, on two of my trips, and he made sure to offer me the “wettest seat” on the raft ! I loved it !! Right up front where I got to see what to expect….big rapids ! I had the chance to meet the owner, David Tibbitts, and it shows that he really loves his job because of all the effort he puts forth to make sure everyone is happy, and comfortable. Teton Expeditions really makes you feel like you are part of “their” family when you go rafting with them. I am going to do the combo trip next year, so I can enjoying the relaxing scenic part of the trip, as well as the whitewater rapid part…I can’t wait ! Keep up the great work !

I highly recommend Teton Expeditions. Dave is excellent to work with and so accommodating. We’ve gone with our entire family from 6 to 76 and had a blast. The scenery is beautiful, the guides are great, and the water is chilly!

Teton Expeditions is Outstanding

In august, we had the pleasure of rafting with Teton Expeditions. When we arrived, we had no idea what type of trip we wanted to take. After talking with their friendly office staff, we chose the scenic portion of the river. Our guide Krystal was extremely knowledgeable of the river and the area and answered the many questions that we had. The lunch they provide on the river was perfect. On top of the many bald eagles we saw the highlight of the trip was actually seeing a herd of elk cross the river! If we ever have the fortune to make it back to Jackson, rafting with Teton Expeditions will be top on our list!

Simply the Best

We go all over the country whitewater rafting and Teton Expeditions was our favorite hands down! From the moment we walked into the door we felt welcome!! Every person that we came in to contact that is employeed through Teton Expeditions was friendly and knowable! My advise to everyone that wants to go rafting in Jackson, you should just go with the best and That is with no aruguments (at least for my family) Teton Expeditions!!!

Teton Expeditions, Just writing to thank you guys for a great float trip early last week. My  family & I went out on the dinner float last Monday (I think) and had a  great time. We were on the raft that saw 4 moose, 5+ eagles, and a bunch of  other animals. Our guide, Ryan (or maybe Brian? Not 100% sure – sorry) was  really great and very knowledgeable. Made the trip that much better. I posted a  5 star review for you guys on  Trip Advisor , and wanted to shoot you some photos  you can put on your website if you want – our guide asked me to send some of  the moose when I got back. I’ve attached a few pictures for you guys. Thanks again, and keep up the great work.

The Best Time to Go on a Snake River Float Trip

If you are wondering what is the best time to go on a Snake River float in Jackson Hole, then you will be happy to know that spring, summer, and fall are all great times of year to go floating in Jackson Hole.

Each season offers a unique experience on the Snake River!

  • Spring is the early season for rafting, and the season falls between the months of April to June. Despite being the early season, most rafters consider spring to be one of the best times of year to raft Jackson Hole. Spring in Wyoming can be chilly, but it also presents the perfect opportunity for rafters to enjoy small groups and see the most animals during a scenic float trip in Grand Teton.
  • Summer (July & August) offers prime rafting weather in Jackson Hole. Since the temperatures hover in the low to mid-80s throughout the season, summer is the perfect time to go whitewater rafting as well as swimming. Scenic float trips are also great in the summer since you can catch cool breezes along the Snake River to keep you comfortable while you check out all of the wildlife and sights!
  • Fall tends to be a little chillier but many locals will say that it’s their favorite time of year to go on Snake River floats Jackson Hole. There is beautiful weather as well as far fewer visitors which makes for a relaxingly quiet scenic float trip, but whitewater rafting is also still an option up until October. Floating between the months of September and October also allows you to view the amazing autumn colors of the Teton National Forest right from your raft!

What to Wear on Jackson Hole Float Trips

When choosing what to wear on a Jackson Hole Float Trip, you need to consider what type of Teton float trip you will be going on.

Jackson Hole scenic float trips will be much calmer and way less wet since you will be in a secure raft on calm waters the entire time. Whereas if you were to go on a white water rafting float trip you would want to dress accordingly and be prepared to get wet during the entirety of the rafting trip.

  • Sun Protection

While floating the Grand Teton Snake River, there is little to no protection from the sun. Even if you happen to experience a cloudy day during your tour, you can get a sunburn in as little as a couple of hours while on the Grand Tetons Snake River. That being said, you should apply sunscreen before the tour and reapply sunscreen during the tour in addition to wearing sunglasses.

  • Appropriate Shoes

Whether you plan on getting in the water or not, you will still need to wear the appropriate footwear to float Snake River. Water shoes or old tennis shoes with soft soles are the best options for both scenic float trips and whitewater rafting. Pretty much all outfitters will not allow bare feet, flip flops, or Crocs!

  • Weather Appropriate Clothes

If you are going on a scenic float trip on the Snake River, then you can pretty much wear whatever you are comfortable in for the weather that day since you likely won’t be getting wet. It is recommended that you wear some layers regardless of the season that you go floating in because even during the summer the mornings can tend to be chilly.

If you plan on going on a whitewater rafting tour or know that you will get wet or go swimming on your tour, you should wear a swimsuit or quick-drying clothes. Avoid cotton, but still consider layers due to the possibility of a chilly morning or a breezy day.

Float Trip Jackson Hole Tips

  • Bring a camera

There is so much to see when you go on a scenic float trip near Jackson Hole, that you will definitely want to capture some of the memories along the way with a camera.

  • Plan an early morning float

Going on float trips Grand Teton in the early hours of the day will greatly increase your chance of seeing the region’s amazing wildlife, especially birds.

  • Bring snacks and water

When you float Snake River Jackson Hole, you will probably get hungry and need to refuel especially if your particular tour doesn’t provide lunch. Bring things like granola bars, fruit, and water bottles.

  • Book tours in advance

Most tours will have limited seating and will in turn have to regularly turn people away when they’re booked. You will want to book your tour as soon as you know your plans especially if you happen to have a large party.

  • Bring a bag with a change of clothes/towels

If you know that you’ll get wet during your float trip Tetons, you should pack a bag with a comfy change of clothes and a towel to use to dry off at the end of the float trip.

Jackson Hole has so much to offer, so we definitely recommend checking out other activities that you can do to get the most out of your trip! There are a ton of amazing things to do in Grand Teton National Park and of course nearby the park as well.
