10+ best lego® star trek sets (and mocs).
With Star Trek being a popular choice amongst the sci-fi fanbase it isn’t surprising that people are frequently asking for LEGO® Star Trek sets. It may surprise you that
LEGO has never released even one official LEGO® Star Trek set but they license instead.
Why Are There No Official LEGO® Star Trek Sets?
The reason there have not been any LEGO® Star Trek sets released is down to licensing, the LEGO® Group does not have the license to produce Star Trek sets.
In 1999 the LEGO® Group gained the license to produce Star Wars sets, these sets have been a massive success, arguably the most popular theme LEGO® has ever released.
With this being the case, I believe all the time they are licensed to produce Star Wars sets they will continue to put all their focus, design, and production power into this ever-growing theme.
In 2013 C3Brix submitted a LEGO® MOC named “ STARTREK NCC-1701 STARSHIP ENTERPRISE ” which receive 1003 supporters but was closed with the following message on the “Official LEGO® Comments” tab.
We’ve looked into the possibility of producing a set based on this licensed property (Star Trek), and since another company has the construction toy license for this IP, we can’t pursue this further as a potential LEGO® set. We’re sorry to be the bearers of this disappointing news. – https://ideas.lego.com/
Even though this was quite a few years ago the license still remains with another company and I cannot see them wanting to give up the license anytime soon!
List of LEGO® Star Trek Sets
1. bluebrixx.
If you are not averse to trying out alternate LEGO® products you will be pleased to hear that BlueBrixx secured the license to produce Star Trek sets in July 2021.
If you weren’t aware, BlueBrixx is a German toy production company who were established in 2017.
At the time of writing this, they have 17 sets available for purchase, I cannot comment on the quality of the bricks but I can say that the sets look very detailed and well-designed.
2. Mega Bloks
Mega Bloks is a brand I was expecting most LEGO® fans to have heard of and when it comes to Star Trek sets you shouldn’t ignore them.
Are There Any Alternate LEGO® Star Trek Sets?
Yes, below we’ve displayed a list of LEGO® Star Trek MOCs for you to check out as an alternative to LEGO® Star Trek sets.
List of LEGO® Star Trek MOCs
Force of Bricks has designed 2 premium and 4 free LEGO® Star Trek-inspired MOCs.
These are all available from his store but so you can easily see what he is offering they are all listed below.
Premium LEGO® Star Trek MOCs
1. u.s.s. enterprise ncc-1701-d.
“Seize the time… live now. Make now always the most precious time. Now will never come again. “ – Captain Jean-Luc Picard
The USS Enterprise (NCC-1701-D) was a 24th-century Federation Galaxy-class starship operated by Starfleet, and the fifth Federation starship to bear the name Enterprise. During its career, the Enterprise served as the Federation flagship and was in service from 2363 to 2371.
2. Enterprise NX-01 NX Class Exploratory Cruiser
“We’re making history with every light year.” – Captain Jonathan Archer
One of the most important starships in interstellar history, Enterprise (NX-01) was the culmination of the NX Project. The NX-01 was the first NX-class starship, launched by the United Earth Starfleet in 2151.
Free LEGO® Star Trek MOCs
1. mini ferengi marauder.
Mixing LEGO® Star Trek with Croissants? What a genius idea! These mini-builds only take 70 pieces to put together, these would be very effective if you wanted to make a fleet of Ferengi Marauders.
2. Design Ninjato
Made from only 92 pieces this LEGO® Star Trek mini build is fun and cheap to build. Once you are finished sit it on the stand to show it off.
3. Mini Romulan Warbird
The mini version of a Romulan D’deridex-class, B-type Warbird goes well together with Force of Bricks Mini Enterprise D which is also available here.
4. Mini Enterprise D
The Enterprise D can be built in three versions: Mini Enterprise D, Mini Enterprise D | Saucer Separation, and Mini Future Enterprise D. The parts list contains all parts to build either the Enterprise D, Saucer Separation, or the Future Version.
LEGO® Star Trek MOCs From Our Website
Lego® star trek sets found online, 1. uss 1701-a enterprise by james dart.
This LEGO® Star Trek set is beautiful and would be welcomed by any Star Trek fan, careful attention has been paid to the detail of this LEGO® MOC and it was definitely worth it.
Not only does the USS 1701-A Enterprise look amazing it is also free-standing which is great when you want to sit it with your collection of LEGO® sets!
2. Galaxy Class Starship by Picardsbricks
This is another set that is beautifully designed, I think the most impressive part of this set is the neck of the ship.
It’s unreal how they have managed to keep the neck so thin but with it still able to support the front of the ship, this is a very impressive Star Trek MOC!
3. NCC 1701 Starship by C3Brix
This Starship was submitted to LEGO IDEAS in 2013 but was sadly rejected due to licensing limitations.
I really love the unique way C3Brix has made the stand for this Star Trek MOC and the level of detail is perfect.
It is definitely a shame this set did not make it to the rounds and into production!
4. Space Station from Deep Space Nine by Brickfrenzy
I was completely lost for words when I saw this Star Trek MOC, made up of over 75,000 pieces and with a diameter of 8 feet this design is absolutely crazy!
Adrian Drake (AKA Brickfrenzy) is the person behind this incredible creation and it’s not hard to believe this took him 2 years to create this masterpiece.
This space station is crammed full of details, the lights around the inside of the ring and leading to the center are a nice touch, and it really brings the set to life.
The engineering behind this set though, I mean wow… this thing is huge and must weigh a lot!
I am amazed at how Adrian has managed to make the space station self-supporting and how he has designed the top vertically curved structures to stand without snapping in the middle! Adrian Drake deserves the crown of master builder for this LEGO® Star Trek design!
Will The LEGO® Group Ever Get the Star Trek License?
I can only give my opinion on this, my thought on this is that all the time LEGO® is producing Star Wars sets you will never see a LEGO® Star Trek set for sale.
On top of this, the Star Trek license is already owned by BlueBrixx and Mega Bloks, all the time they have it I would not expect The LEGO® Group to be able to get the license even if they wanted it…
LEGO does not have the license to release official LEGO® Star Trek sets and with brands such as Mega Bloks and BlueBrixx holding the license, I wouldn’t expect one anytime soon either.
However, this hasn’t stopped LEGO® Star Trek and Sci-Fi fans from designing fanart MOCs.
If you dream of owning your own LEGO® Star Trek set I would recommend starting off with a Star Trek LEGO® MOC, you have a lot more designs, styles, and variations with these types of sets.
Don’t forget to, if you cannot find the perfect LEGO® Star Trek set you can always think about a commission-built design, if you are interested in discussing making your dream set a reality drop click here to contact us today!
Matthew Mitchell
Hey, I am Matthew Mitchell and I am an AFOL from the UK. I have been fascinated by LEGO since I was a child. My two children are in love with LEGO and it's because of them that my interest in LEGO continued to grow, this is how I fell in to the rabbit hole of LEGO MOCs. With every new LEGO MOC I saw I became just a bit more addicted to the endless possibilities that LEGO offers. This led me to creating Belle-Ve Bricks, a platform where talented LEGO designers can share their work with the world.

[MOC] Star Trek USS Enterprise
By BrickMonkeyMOCs , May 29, 2018 in LEGO Sci-Fi

Brickmonkeymocs .
This is a model I've just recently finished on commission. The goal was to create a model of the iconic USS Enterprise from Star Trek with a Millennium Falcon-style petal-opening bridge that would fit a minifigure-scale interior. Obviously, a truly minifig-scale Enterprise would be a massive model, so the idea was rather to achieve something like the 10198 Tantive IV set where the scale of the interior differs from that of the actual ship. Accordingly, the full interior of the main hull here represents what in 'reality' would be a small section at the center top of the main hull. It has space for five minifigs seated centrally under the top 8x8 dish, and when the panels are opened this exposes the rest of the bridge interior where these figures can then be moved around.
Instructions now available HERE .

This is a very nice Enterprise. Off the top of my head, it's the best one I can remember seeing. The choice of a Millennium Falcon style petal fold for the saucer lets the warp engines be small enough to support with conventional construction techniques, while still looking good for display and sturdy for play. I've thought about buying the Mega Construx Enterprise, but each time I decided not to because its one-piece nacelle struts and other large parts for finish detail seem like such clumsy solutions. You show that a handsome display Enterprise doesn't need those cheats. Thanks for posting.

icm - I totally agree with you on the Megabloks Enterprise. It looks nice, but it may as well be a traditional model kit since it has no creative solutions to the build.

Thanks. The best Enterprise I've seen is this one which I came across during initial research. The Mega Construx model certainly looks great too. Both of these models are significantly larger than my present design though, where the goal was to keep it as small as possible while still achieving the opening bridge with minifigs inside.

Thanks. There's an outer octagonal perimeter of 1x2 cheese slope computers, and a lower inner circle containing the captains chair and a computer console for helm and navigation. The inner circle transitions via steps in the forward, rear, left, and right positions, with rails around the rest of this circle. The captain's chair is brick-built, with printed 1x2 tiles with buttons on each armrest.

6 hours ago, Littleworlds said: This looks indeed quite excellent! Its certainly one of the objects Lego bricks weren't really made for, but you did an excellent job in getting its shape and feel right. Are the wedge-elements of the saucer-section slightly tilted upwards? I would either recommend doing so, or (maybe even better) add a 1 or 2 thick plate layer half its diameter to generate that gentle upwards-slope the original has, if stud placement allows it.
Thank you. And yes, the saucer-section does already have the required upwards slope on the opening top surface.
Legoginge
Love this. Have you any plans to make a TNG Enterprise?
4 hours ago, Legoginge said: Love this. Have you any plans to make a TNG Enterprise?
Thanks! I design whatever my customers ask for, and my next booked projects are not going to be Star Trek-related. But a TNG Enterprise would be cool and is certainly doable.

This Might Be The Best LEGO MOC Star Trek U.S.S. Enterprise Thus Far
Unlike Star Wars , the other defining sci-fi series/movies of our time, Star Trek , hasn’t gotten much LEGO love, officially and non-officially. So, it was exciting when we stumbled upon Kevin J. Walter’s newest LEGO MOC Star Trek , the NCC-1701-A U.S.S. Enterprise . If we can only use one word to describe Walter’s LEGO take of the iconic starfleet spaceship, then it would be “breathtaking.” No doubt about it. I mean, seriously, just look at this thing. Isn’t it a beauty?
Save for the propulsion units which weren’t cylindrical, the rest of the build was pretty much spot on – right down to the saucer main hull and the secondary hull down below. Kevin J. Walter’s LEGO MOC of the NCC-1701-A U.S.S. Enterprise might just be the most accurate depiction of the iconic starfleet spaceship in LEGO yet. I’d say it has a place as an icon in its own right.
But of course, Walter here knows a thing or two about presentation to make his final product looks even brilliant. He tricked up the final product with a little bit of Photoshop wizardry, including throwing the requisite lights permeating out of the windows and the glow on the reflector dish. But hey, if those things weren’t physically there, I am sure some expert LEGO builders can make it happen.
Speaking of which, if you down in building a version of Walter’s Star Trek U.S.S. Enterprise, you can procure the build instructions from Brick Vault for $44.99 . Bricks required are, obviously, not included. Or if you just want to appreciate a good MOC, then hit up Walter’s Flickr page for high-resolution looks of the man’s other LEGO MOC work of art.

Star Trek: Lower Decks Season 5 - Cast, Story & Everything We Know
Summer 2024 belongs to star trek’s jack quaid, david boreanaz's seal team replacement show continues his biggest career trend.
- Star Trek: Lower Decks might not be dead yet, with hopes of continuing the crew's adventures despite its planned ending.
- A possible sequel with a new name like Star Trek: Middle Decks could keep the spirit of Lower Decks alive with a fresh start.
- Despite the challenges of streaming, a TNG-era show through animation could provide a new avenue for beloved Star Trek characters.
I think Star Trek: Lower Decks isn't quite dead yet. The announcement of the end of Star Trek: Lower Decks came earlier this year, along with the renewal of Star Trek: Strange New Worlds for season 4. It makes sense for Star Trek: Lower Decks to reach a natural ending, given the concept of Lower Decks focusing on the USS Cerritos' junior officers. On the official Star Trek Instagram account, however, a statement from series creator Mike McMahan and Star Trek showrunner Alex Kurtzman indicated Lower Decks' ending was unplanned , saying they "remain hopeful ... that the whole Cerritos crew will live on with new adventures."
It's normal for creators to offer glimmers of hope when a beloved show ends -- who wouldn't want their show to continue, after all? -- and there's an extra layer of hope because Star Trek has a long-running history of returning from the dead. Letter-writing campaigns saved Star Trek: The Original Series not once, but twice, giving TOS its 3-season run. Star Trek: The Animated Series and subsequent feature films revived the original crew of the USS Enterprise yet again. Star Trek: The Next Generation proved a spinoff could work, and TNG 's cast was reunited in Star Trek: Picard . But things are different for new Star Trek shows .
Great news: Star Trek: Lower Decks is coming back for season 5. Bad news: It's the final season of Lower Decks on Paramount+.
Star Trek: Middle Decks Might Not Be Such A Weird Idea
5 seasons of star trek: lower decks is a lot in streaming.
Despite its imminent demise, the way to keep Star Trek: Lower Decks alive is with a not-so-stealth sequel that continues the story with a new name: Star Trek: Middle Decks or Star Trek: Cerritos, for example. The general unsustainability of the streaming model means there's a focus on generating buzzy new content to attract subscribers, while perfectly good shows get axed prematurely. The secret is to treat a Star Trek: Lower Decks sequel like a "new show" that gives the streamer a shiny new title, and creates a new jumping-on point for curious fans, while simultaneously picking up where Star Trek: Lower Decks season 5 left off. Improbable? Sure. But not impossible .
Consider: the premise of Star Trek: Lower Decks has a relatively limited life span, because a series about junior officers in Starfleet only has a few years, at best, before Lower Decks ' main characters are promoted out of the concept . While it might be possible to cycle in a "new class" , with our current faves in mentorship roles, the point is that we're already invested in Star Trek: Lower Decks' characters . We want to see Lieutenants Beckett Mariner (Tawny Newsome), Brad Boimler (Jack Quaid), D'Vana Tendi (Noël Wells), and Samanthan Rutherford (Eugene Cordero) grow into the people they're becoming. Why not just renew Star Trek: Lower Decks with a new name?
Star Trek: Lower Decks ' humor will no doubt continue even if the show doesn't, because Tawny Newsome remains part of the Star Trek family as a writer on Star Trek: Starfleet Academy .
Star Trek Needs A TNG-Era Show
Animation keeps 24th century trek current.
With Star Trek: Strange New Worlds in the 23rd century, and the upcoming Star Trek: Starfleet Academy set in the 32nd century, Star Trek won't have a show that takes place in the Star Trek: The Next Generation era . Star Trek: Picard came to its planned ending, and the future doesn't look bright for Star Trek: Legacy, so after Star Trek: Lower Decks and Star Trek: Prodigy end in 2024, the door closes on 24th century Star Trek for the foreseeable future. That seems weird when TNG , DS9, and Voyager are the most familiar versions of Star Trek for a sizable group of fans.
With a potential continuation of Star Trek: Lower Decks, that door stays open. TNG -era Star Trek actors can reprise their roles believably in animation, which is relatively inexpensive to produce compared to live-action Star Trek . Of course, with nothing announced, we probably won't see a Star Trek: Lower Decks sequel series any time soon, but it's suspicious that there are no known plans for more stories in what is arguably Star Trek 's most popular era . Ultimately, I hope we'll get to see more stories about the USS Cerritos crew once Star Trek: Lower Decks season 5 is over -- with or without Star Trek: Lower Decks undergoing a surprise rebrand.

What ultimately happened to the USS Discovery in the 'Star Trek: Discovery' series finale?
Strangely, the Star Trek: Discovery ship's far-future fate was revealed in 2018 'Short Trek' episode 'Calypso'.
What happens to Discovery at the end of season 5?
How is the uss discovery sentient.
- What happens next?
- What is Zora's final mission?
Over five seasons of "Star Trek: Discoverywe got to know Michael Burnham and the crew of the USS Discovery, but the show's final scene is reserved for its eponymous starship. In the series finale " Life, Itself ", self-aware computer Zora fires up the spore drive for the final time to embark on one last mission.
We still have no idea why she's given a top-secret Red Directive to wait indefinitely at these particular coordinates, but a 2018 " Short Trek " episode "Calypso" has already revealed the next stage of her journey. Here's what's in store for Zora and Discovery a millennium down the line — watch out for spoilers. (And if you need a refresher on all things Trek, check out our Star Trek streaming guide for how to watch nearly every series on Paramount Plus .)

Several decades after the Discovery crew tracked down the Progenitor technology — long enough for Admiral Michael Burnham and Cleveland Booker to see their son, Leto, rise to the rank of Starfleet captain — the ship is assigned one final mission.
Burnham arrives on the bridge to give the ship's sentient computer, Zora (voiced by Annabelle Wallis), her briefing. "I'm going to bring you to a set of coordinates in deep space," explains the admiral. "Then me and your crew will leave. After that, you wait."
"For what?" Zora asks, but she doesn't get a definitive answer.
"This is a Red Directive; we both know how transparent those are," replies Burnham, referring to the beyond-classified instructions that have become the mysterious Dr. Kovich's stock-in-trade. "I did hear a word in passing," the admiral adds. "'Craft'. I'm not sure if that's a person or a vessel or…"
That word will prove to be important, but as Burnham correctly predicts, she'll be long gone when Zora finds out what it means.

After this emotional farewell, Discovery is waved off by an armada of Starfleet vessels and a few bars of Alexander Courage's iconic " Star Trek " theme. Then, Zora fires up the spore drive and jumps away to her mystery destination.
Related: Star Trek: Discovery is at an end: Here are 5 things season 5 needed to fix
Starships often come to feel like characters in their own right, but never has this been as true as it is for Discovery.
Zora is much more than some glorified Siri or Alexa substitute, thanks to Discovery's 23rd century computer merging with hundreds of thousands of years of data collected by an ancient alien Sphere. Discovery was protecting this precious information when it jumped forward to 3189.
The newly created super-computer gradually develops sentience, emotions and a personality, and decides to name herself Zora (which means "dawn" in several Alpha Quadrant languages). She's eventually recognized as a lifeform in her own right, and awarded the rank of Specialist by Starfleet.
What happens next? And what does it have to do with 'craft'?
Not a lot. For around 1,000 years, Zora sits and waits at the designated coordinates, getting some "alone time" inside some kind of interstellar storm cloud. Then she runs into an escape pod with a sole occupant — a man who calls himself Craft.
This "reluctant" soldier (played by Aldis Hodge) hails from Alcor IV, and has spent the last decade at war with the V'draysh, which — based on comments from criminal boss Zareh in " Discovery" season 3 — appears to be a Pidgin word for the Federation. (This may explain why the enemy vessel Craft has commandeered contains an extensive collection of Earth cartoons from "the long ago".)
During their time together, Zora introduces Craft to tacos, the concept of Tuesday, and her favorite movie, 1957 Audrey Hepburn/Fred Astaire rom-com "Funny Face." She falls in love with the visitor, but he ultimately departs in the hope of finding his wife and son. She refuses to give him a lift home in Discovery, however, reasoning that she has to maintain position to complete her mission.
All this was revealed in 2018 "Short Trek" episode "Calypso", though back then — before season 2 had aired — we had no idea that Discovery would depart for the 32nd century, that the Sphere data would help Discovery's computer evolve into Zora, or that Burnham (then a science officer) would be promoted to captain. These days "Calypso" makes a lot more sense.
So what exactly is Zora's final mission?
Beyond waiting for a long, long time, that remains unclear. But, seeing as her mission has top secret Red Directive status, it's pretty much certain that Dr Kovich — now revealed to be Temporal Agent Daniels of " Star Trek: Enterprise " fame — has a plan for Zora, and that her bumping into Craft is no accident.
But whoever she encounters next, it's sure to have major ramifications for the galaxy — and perhaps beyond. Burnham promised a "new beginning" for Zora when she eventually comes back. Who knows what that might mean…

After studying physics at university, he became a journalist, swapped science fact for science fiction, and hit the jackpot when he joined the team at SFX, the UK's biggest sci-fi and fantasy magazine. This fall will see the return of the NFL on CBS and originals Landman, Tulsa King, Dexter: Original Sin , School Spirits, Frasier and Lioness .
There’s been a drumbeat of price hikes over the past year, and especially this summer. Streamers were priced pretty low to start in a bid to attract subscribers, but financial chaos followed as media companies overspent on content, racking up steep losses. It’s still not clear when Paramount+ will pull into the black. Max raised prices ahead of the second-season debut of House of the Dragon , as did Peacock with the Summer Olympics in Paris next month.
Even with the hikes, Paramount’s ad-free tier, Paramount+ with Showtime is cheaper than Peacock, Max, Disney+, Netflix and Hulu, and its ad-supported plan is on par or less than others.

A “ Spaceballs ” sequel is in development at Amazon MGM Studios. Josh Gad is set to star, and will produce alongside Mel Brooks .
Josh Greenbaum will direct the film from a screenplay by Benji Samit, Dan Hernandez, and Gad, while Kevin Salter will executive produce. The project is in early stages, and plot details are being kept under wraps. Amazon declined to comment.

Gad, best known for his work on Broadway in “The Book of Mormon” and as the voice of lovable snowman Olaf in the “Frozen” franchise, is next set to make his directorial debut with a Chris Farley biopic starring Paul Walter Hauser as the iconic comedian. He most recently starred alongside his “Book of Mormon” co-star Andrew Rannells in “Gutenberg! The Musical!” on Broadway.
This isn’t Brooks’ first time revisiting a classic comedy in recent years. In 2023, he wrote and produced “History of the World, Part II,” a follow-up to his 1981 “Part I” feature. Brooks, one of the few entertainers to boast prestigious EGOT status, directed and starred in films such as “Blazing Saddles,” “Young Frankenstein” and “Robin Hood: Men in Tights.” He was also honored with the Career Achievement Award at the 84th Annual Peabody Awards earlier this month.
Gad is represented by CAA, Sugar 23, ImPRint, and Johnson Shapiro Slewett & Kole LLP.

Unlike Star Wars, the other defining sci-fi series/movies of our time, Star Trek, hasn't gotten much LEGO love, officially and non-officially. So, it was exciting when we stumbled upon Kevin J. Walter's newest LEGO MOC Star Trek, the NCC-1701-A U.S.S. Enterprise. If we can only use one word to describe Walter's LEGO take of the iconic starfleet spaceship, then it would be "breathtaking."
