Help! Voyager XII Oil Change
Just in case you did not know, there are two drain plugs on the voyager, plus the filter. I think it holds 3.7 quarts when filling. Go to tricksters-R-us.com and download the manuals. also another great place is the american voyager association web site. Great knowledge from these guys that know all about the voyager. How much Oil for the Voyager Just want to say thanks for your replies, on the site and to my email. Now I am really confused! Have had replies that 1 guy put in 4.5 qts with filter change, another 4.75 qts and another just under 5 qts, and 1 quy put in a little over 5 qts. Well from what came out when I drained it, I will put in 5 qts.

KawaVoyager2021. At 600 miles on my 2021 Voyager, I bought 5 quarts of Kawasaki Premium Oil and a filter. Open both drain plugs, drain, and remove filter (mine was frozen on so I had to spear it with a screwdriver). Plugs in, spin on new oil filter and then add 4.5 quarts of oil. Check tire pressures, then ride.

I changed to Amsoil at 600, next change at 6000, and again at 12000. Didn't have to add any in between. I've never been able to consistently get the same reading on the dipstick too. Sometimes a little higher, sometimes a little lower. As long as it is between the tic marks, good to go. 2013 Kawasaki Vulcan 1700 Voyager.
