Here’s Every ‘Nonsense’ Outro Sabrina Carpenter Has Performed at Taylor Swift’s Eras Tour

When Sabrina Carpenter first released Emails I Can’t Send in July 2022, nobody expected “Nonsense” to take on a life of its own in the way that it has. While flashier songs like “Fast Times” and “Because I Liked a Boy” got a lot of initial attention, it was “Nonsense” that grew into the set’s runaway hit — thanks, in no small part, to Carpenter’s hilarious improvised outros on her global Emails I Can’t Send Tour.

In essence, every night Carpenter performs “Nonsense,” she changes the lyrics of the outro on the fly. Sometimes she’s simply paying tribute to the city in which she’s performing — and, other times, she’s testing how far she can push the limits of sexually suggestive lyrics.

The original “Nonsense” outro reads: “This song catchier than chickenpox is/ I bet your house is where my other sock is/ Woke up this morning, thought I’d write a pop hit, ha-ha/ How quickly can you take your clothes off? Pop quiz.”

“Nonsense” peaked at No. 56 on the Billboard Hot 100 , her second career entry on the chart; the single also reached the top 10 on Pop Airplay (No. 10). Emails I Can’t Send debuted and peaked at No. 23, becoming the highest peaking and longest charting LP of her career.

Taylor Swift announced on June 2, 2023, that she would be bringing her record-breaking Eras Tour to Latin America, with Carpenter serving as her opener across the summer and fall in Mexico, Argentina and Brazil. She would also open Eras Tour shows in Australia and Singapore from Feb. 16-March 9, 2024.

Naturally, the singer-songwriter brought her “Nonsense” outro shenanigans to her first couple Eras Tour performances, and she’s already gifted fans with a number of hilarious renditions of the track. From Mexico to Singapore and beyond, here’s every “Nonsense” outro Sabrina Carpenter has performed on the Eras Tour so far:

Mexico City, Night 1

For the Aug. 24 Eras Tour show — the first of four consecutive nights at Mexico City’s Foro Sol stadium — Sabrina sang: “I only date him if he pays my rent-ay/ If you are a Swiftie, you’re mi gente/ Let me hear you make some noise DF.”

For her first night on the Australian leg of the Eras Tour (Feb. 16), Sabrina Carpenter took the Aussies right into the deep end with the salacious “Nonsense” outro — and she also impressed some locals with her knowledge of the proper pronunciation of the city’s name.

Although she was unable to perform her set the first night of the Eras Tour’s stint in Sydney (Feb. 23-26) due to the weather, Sabrina Carpenter was able to make it for Night 2 (Feb. 24). For that evening’s “Nonsense” outro, she opted to bring back the raunch.

For her final night in Sydney’s Accor Stadium (Feb. 26), Carpenter delivered what just might be her funniest “Nonsense” outro yet — and it’s all thanks to her play on the Australian pronunciation of the word “no/nah,” which has been a long-running Internet meme.

Singapore Night 2 brought along both a reference to the gorgeous Jewel Changi — an entertainment and retail complex that features an enormous waterfall structure — and a sweet reaction from Carpenter’s Oscar-nominated beau Barry Keoghan. The Saltburn actor cheered as she sang:

For her third consecutive night at Singapore’s National Stadium (March 4), Sabrina had to tweet a clarification after the show because some fans misheard her one of freestyle lyrics as “almond” instead of “omelette.”

Sabrina Carpenter’s Horny ‘Nonsense’ Outros Are an Eras Tour Highlight

Sabrina Carpenter woke up deciding to write a pop hit, and she did—and then she reinvented it to become a special, sexed-up surprise at all her live shows.

William Shakespeare never got to meet Sabrina Carpenter , but if he did, I’d like to think he would’ve complimented her rhyming prowess.

More likely is that he would’ve been jealous of her. Carpenter has become Shakespeare for girls of the 2020s, her verses speaking to the desire to get laid, be sexy, and have fun. The crystallization of these feminine urge-focused lyrics, though? Carpenter’s changing series of horny rhymes that she sings as an outro to her song “Nonsense.”

“Nonsense,” the fifth single from her 2022 album Emails I Can’t Send , is currently Carpenter’s most popular track on Spotify. The recorded version’s final verse, which Carpenter still sings before each new live outro , goes: “This song is catchier than chickenpox is/ I bet your house is where my other sock is/ Woke up this morning, thought I’d write a pop hit/ How quickly can you take your clothes off—pop quiz?” She then immediately erupts into laughter.

As the artist tours both within the United States and internationally, she’s started a new tradition: At each new stop along her tour, she pens a new verse as the outro to “Nonsense” that somehow incorporates the location into the NSFW three-line jingle. She’s been doing it since the Emails I Can’t Send tour began last September in Atlanta—happy almost one-year anniversary to the outro!

For example, this was Carpenter’s first live version of the outro on her tour last year: “Come over tonight my room is spotless/ I’m sorry this outro is so chaotic/ Atlanta, it’s official: You’re the hottest.” This one is pretty tame, when you compare it to the ones she’s performed since.

When Carpenter returned to Atlanta several months later, however, she arrived ready to steam things up a bit more this time: “He hit so hard I’m walking on a slant-a / This body is in super high demand-a / I hear they like my peaches in Atlanta.” Now we’re talking!

My favorite version of the “Nonsense” outro is the one she performed on July 25 in the Philippines: “His ex is a motel, I’m a villa/ He says I taste better than vanilla/ What’s your favorite city? Mine’s Manila.” That one’s been in my head since I first heard it.

Fun as they are, I’ve seen more than a few people call these verses corny . They’re not wrong! The outros do have a tendency to make me wince. At the same time, Carpenter seems to understand that the bit is a little cringe; she’s started making the verses more tongue-in-cheek than sincere attempts at sounding sexy. Plus, the first time she performed the outro, Carpenter literally apologized for how “chaotic” it was. But Carpenter knows how to make chaos trendy, which is why the horned-up verses work so well: They’re goofy. Some don’t even rhyme. But who cares? Each city gets to be in on the fun, adding something special to each live show.

And now, the attendees at Taylor Swift’s Eras Tour get to hear new “Nonsense” outro verses on each stop along the international leg of the tour. Carpenter started her gig opening for Swift last Thursday in Mexico City, and she’ll continue to open through next March. Carpenter is slated to perform ahead of Swift in Argentina, Brazil, Australia, and Singapore.

Here’s a taste of what to expect from Carpenter’s new round of “Nonsense” verses, based on what she gave Mexico City during her first show on tour: “I only date him if he pays mi rente/ If you are a Swiftie, you’re mi gente/ Let me hear you make some noise, DF .”

Carpenter’s second night with the Eras Tour came with my favorite new outro : “He said, ‘Where you at?” I said, “I’m busy”/ Sipping on tequila getting tipsy/ Con mis chicas in Mexico City.” I hope one of the friends she’s referring to is Taylor Swift, and that the two of them were enjoying a drink together before the show.

But Carpenter’s final outro on her first run of Eras Tour shows was nothing short of breathtaking. “Felt so good, he made me hit the top note/ Eras tickets, girl, you won the lotto/ Mexico, I kinda think te amo .”

While the outro verse was making rounds on TikTok prior to the Eras Tour, it seems that opening for Swift has really put all eyes on Carpenter’s saucy stanza. The Swift fan accounts have already hopped aboard the “Nonsense” outros train after her first few shows on Eras. It deserves all the attention in pop music, frankly. No matter how cringey the verses may or may not be, to create something original for each new show makes the live performances even more special—especially at something already as special as Eras.

This is the last we’ll see Carpenter performing live for quite a few months. She’s set to return to the Eras Tour in November to open for Swift in Comuna 13, Argentina. That gives us all some time to predict what she may rhyme with “Argentina.” The first word that comes to mind? Sabrina.

With that commitment, she’s sure to continue her nonsense this year.

Here are the raunchiest “Nonsense” outros so far, ranked.

This is probably the tamest verse switch on the list. During her May 2023 show in Atlanta, Carpenter sang: “He hit so hard, I’m walking on a slant-a / This body is in super high demand-a / I heard they like my peaches in Atlanta.”

Lets get a bit steamier, Carpenters. At her May 13 stop in Philadelphia , the singer got playfully seductive: “Can you warm me up? I’m super chilly / I’m a bank account, boy, you should fill me / You know I got special love for Philly.”

Mood: Slightly horny, but clever. “His ex is a motel, I’m a villa / He says I taste better than vanilla / What’s your favorite city? Mine’s Manila,” Carpenter mused during her July performance in the Philippines .

Everything is rumored to be bigger in Texas, and during her Mar. 25 show in San Antonio , Carpenter had that slogan in mind. She cheekily sang, “I just wanna ride him like a rodeo / But first he gotta grow it like Pinocchio / Sorry I’m so vulgar, San Antonio.”

Sabrina Carpenter’s reign over the summer of 2024 continued this weekend at the Governors Ball music festival in New York City, where the famously 4’11” pop star made a big Pride statement.

Fans of the “Espresso” singer know she’s fond of changing up the so-called “Nonsense” outro after performing the track “Nonsense.” Essentially, on Taylor Swift’s Eras Tour and beyond, Carpenter comes up with raunchy rhyming couplets tailored to the venue, whether she’s making a sex pun about going “down under” in Sydney or joking about someone being “30 Rock-hard” on SNL . But during her Governors Ball on June 9, she made her nonsense outro do double duty, pulling off a salacious joke while also calling out anti-LGBTQ+ bigots.

As “Nonsense” ended, she sang: “Do I text him back? It’s such a tough call / That won’t fit inside me, bro, I’m dumb small / People who hate Pride can suck my Gov Balls.” And then, over the roar of the crowd, she shouted, “Happy Pride, New York! I love you so much.” Judging from the kind of airtime “Espresso” is getting at every LGBTQ+ function for the past month, it seems like the feeling is mutual.

Carpenter’s pro-Pride nonsense outro was just the tip of the very gay iceberg that was this year’s Gov Ball. In her own playful pro-Pride message, recent Them cover star Reneé Rapp said, “We’re so visible it’s sickening. We’re viz, we’re viz, we’re 4K.” Chappell Roan did the “Hot to Go” dance dressed as the Statue of Liberty while issuing a powerful call for “freedom for all.” And G Flip performed their viral, gender-swapped cover of “Cruel Summer,” among many other queer Governors Ball moments.

Meanwhile, the pocket-sized Carpenter is continuing to cement her place in 2020s pop lore. Days before her Gov Ball set, she released the music video for “Please Please Please,” which stars her own boyfriend, Saltburn star Barry Keoghan, as a sexy mafioso in trouble with the law. The song also added yet another earworm to our cultural lexicon: “I’m working late, ’cause I’m a singer” is now rivaled by Carpenter’s breathy, contralto pronunciation of “motherf**ker” in the new track.

Sabrina Carpenter’s fans are fully aware that she enjoys tweaking songs during her live performances. Basically, she creates some x rated, rhyming couplets specifically for each setting, which are mostly just sex puns.

However, on June 9 at her Governors Ball, she pulled a double-dealer by calling out anti-LGBTQ+ bigots and making a lurid joke out of the outro while singing her hit ‘ Nonsense ‘.

There’s no stopping Sabrina Carpenter. After months of opening for Taylor Swift’s Eras Tour, AKA the “Taybrina era,” and going viral for her “Nonsense” adlib outros, which she famously tailors to each locale, she’s back on stages once again. This time, she popped up in the desert for Coachella 2024’s opening weekend.

Carpenter took the festival stage on Friday, April 12, and wowed the crowd several times over. This was largely due to her A+ set list, of course, but it was also because of her multiple outfit changes.

Sabrina’s Shades Of Beige

Even before the TikTok-aided rise of coquettecore, Carpenter has carved her space among fashion’s most discerning as an icon of girlhood. Thus far, her oft-cutesy ensembles have included heart-shaped cut-outs, ruffled bloomers, and bows, coquette’s most recognizable symbol.

For her Coachella performance, however, Carpenter veered from her signature style. Instead, she went for a bit more bite. Replacing her usual frills, the singer rocked a Roberto Cavalli snakeskin jacket in tan and butter tones, which she layered over a bedazzled top with a fringed hem. The sparkly silver number perfectly matched her crystal-encrusted microphone — a performer’s ultimate accessory.

Playing homage to the late designer, whose passing was announced earlier that day, Carpenter wore a pleated micro mini also from Cavalli. Complete with a super-short hemline, the waistband was embellished with bejeweled panthers, the Italian house’s iconic logo.

Her Glitzy Undies

No stranger to short-short hemlines, Carpenter made sure to wear undies worth flaunting. Adding even more sparkle to her already glitzy desert look, the pop star added a bejeweled bra and matching panties. And it was absolutely the right choice — there’s one place to wear bedazzled underwear, it’s definitely Coachella.

Sabrina’s “Feather”-Coded Look

Changing into another Cavalli number, the “Feather” singer leaned into the theme of her hit song. She wore a little white dress (the spring equivalent of an LBD) that was positively befeathered, with plumes attached to the sleeves and hem. Adding even more texture, its heart-shaped bodice was blanketed in crystals.

She topped off the look with a diaphanous robe with — surprise, surprise — more feathers. She further merchandised the ensemble with white platform boots that, like the rest of her on-stage uniform, were also completely yassified. A winning Coachella debut.

Sabrina Carpenter  is working with her beau! On Thursday, the singer, 25, released her latest single, "Please Please Please," and tapped  Barry Keoghan  to star in the track's accompanying video.

Carpenter's video, which was directed by Bardia Zeinali, picks up with Carpenter in jail after she was arrested at the end of her "Espresso" video . The video proceeds with Carpenter, who rocks Calzedonia thigh highs, falling for a convict, played by Keoghan.

"I ended the last video getting arrested, so naturally I thought it would be satisfying to start the 'Please Please Please' video in jail," Carpenter told Vogue   via email. "I liked the idea of falling in love with a convict and being shocked and embarrassed every time he commits crimes. I was sooo lucky to get Barry Keoghan in the video cause he is just magic on screen."

As for the track itself, Carpenter collaborated with  Jack Antonoff and Amy Allen to highlight her razor-sharp lyrics and signature conversational delivery over buoyant production.

"Please Please Please" is Carpenter's latest single off of her upcoming album,  Short n' Sweet , which is out Aug. 23.

When it comes to her personal life, Carpenter has been linked to Keoghan since the end of 2023. They  were photographed  several times out and about in California, and made further headlines when  Keoghan traveled to Singapore  to support Carpenter's opening gig on  Taylor Swift 's Eras Tour.

Keoghan wore  a "Sabrina" friendship bracelet shortly thereafter, and then the pair  finally posed together  at  Vanity Fair 's Oscars after-party. A  flirty social media moment  followed, before  things really heated up  at Coachella.

During her set, Carpenter referenced Keoghan's  much-discussed  Saltburn  bathwater scene  in her "Nonsense" outro, singing, "Man his knees so weak he had to spread mine / He's drinkin' my bathwater like it's red wine / Coachella, see you back here when I headline."

They made their red carpet debut at the 2024 Met Gala , and even shared a kiss in a video from the event.

Sabrina Carpenter seemed to take on the rumors that she is dating Barry Keoghan, featuring him in her latest music video.

On Friday, Carpenter released "Please Please Please," a single from her upcoming album "Short n' Sweet."

In the song's video, Carpenter falls for a convict, played by Keoghan , who keeps committing crimes and getting arrested.

Though the pair have been rumored to be dating for months, it is the first time Carpenter publicly nodded at a relationship.

Representatives for Keoghan and Carpenter did not immediately respond to a comment request from Business Insider.

In 2024, both Carpenter and Keoghan had an abrupt rise in popularity.

Keoghan's leading role in 2023's "Saltburn" brought him to a new level of fame. Carpenter's star has risen on the back of slots at Taylor Swift's Eras Tour and Coachella, plus her hit summer song " Espresso ."

September 2023: The likely first meeting, at a fashion show.

In September 2023, Keoghan and Carpenter attended a fashion show hosted by Givenchy during Paris Fashion Week.

E! News and DailyMail.com previously reported that this is when the rumored couple first met.

December 2023: A report of a date.

On December 3, the DailyMail.com reported that Keoghan and Carpenter went on a dinner date in Los Angeles, sparking rumors.

Fans were confused by this news since Keoghan had yet to confirm whether he had split from longtime girlfriend Alyson Kierans. The pair have a son, Brando, but there were reports that the couple had split in July 2023.

In January 2024, Keoghan mentioned Kierans in a cover story for GQ magazine in a way that suggested they were more co-parents than partners.

"She's done a great job, and she's an incredible mother," Keoghan said.

January 2024: Keoghan goes on another date with Carpenter.

People reported, citing unnamed sources, that Keoghan and Carpenter went on a date to Luna Luna, an art exhibit in LA, on January 15.

A witness told People that the pair kissed during the date. Neither addressed the dating rumor.

February 2024: Keoghan and Carpenter spend time together during a Grammys afterparty.

A month later, Carpenter and Keoghan seemed to have been hanging out at afterparties.

The pair attended W Magazine's Grammys afterparty separately, but W reported that they hung out together inside.

"Meanwhile, Barry Keoghan chatted with friends as Sabrina Carpenter perched on his lap," a W staff member wrote .

The magazine also shared a picture of the pair on Instagram .

Later that month, People reported that Carpenter and Keoghan went on two more dates in LA.

March 2024: Keoghan and Carpenter become more open about dating but do not confirm rumors.

In March, Carpenter performed her last few opening-act shows for Taylor Swift's Eras Tour.

During one of Carpenter's performances in Singapore, fans noticed Keoghan in the crowd and shared videos of him .

Then, several outlets reported on March 10 that Keoghan wore a friendship bracelet with Carpenter's name on it to the Oscars.

Later in March Carpenter refused to comment on the dating rumors during an interview with Cosmopolitan , dodging a question about her dating life.

"The relationships that I actually want to put my energy into have to be so interesting or invigorating because they take me away from the other things I love," Carpenter said. "So yeah, it's fun and it's messy. I think I'm still just at this place where I'm really enjoying the newness of all of it."

April 2024: Carpenter makes a reference to "Saltburn" at Coachella.

In April, Carpenter performed on both weekends at the 2024 Coachella music festival .

During the first weekend, Keoghan was in the crowd, and fans shared multiple videos of him recording Carpenter or dancing to her songs.

According to a video shared on social media, Carpenter seemed to wave toward Keoghan in the crowd during her performance.

During the second weekend of Coachella, Carpenter made a reference to Keoghan's hit film " Saltburn " during her performance.

This time she sang : "Made his knees so weak he had to spread mine / He's drinking my bath water like it's red wine / Coachella , see you back here when I headline."

The "drinking my bath water" line seemed like a reference to the scandalous scene in "Saltburn," where Keoghan's character drinks bathwater after it has been used by the man he is obsessed with.

May 2024: Carpenter and Keoghan finally make their red carpet debut.

On May 6, Keoghan and Carpenter arrived together at the 2024 Met Gala , making their first joint appearance on a red carpet.

After the event, Vogue published a video of the pair getting ready for the gala. In the clip, Carpenter is happy to see Keoghan when he walks in, and Keoghan appears to lean in for a kiss.

May 2024: Keoghan threw a birthday party for Carpenter for her 25th.

A few days later, Carpenter celebrated her 25th birthday.

People reported, citing an unnamed source, that Keoghan threw her a party on May 11 in Brooklyn.

The party featured a cake with Leonardo DiCaprio's face and the caption: "Nooo don't turn 25 [you're] so sexy aha." This refers to the internet joke that DiCaprio is only attracted to women under 25.

As a result, it's no wonder that people are desperate to see Sabrina on tour.

With her new album ' Short n' Sweet ' on the way, and a major easter egg on her website, all signs point to Sabrina heading out on the road again very soon. Is Sabrina Carpenter going on tour in 2024?

Back in May, Hits Daily Double reported that Sabrina would be announcing an arena tour in the near future. Now, it looks like an announcement could be imminent. On June 3rd, Sabrina revealed that she will be releasing her sixth studio album 'Short n' Sweet' on August 23rd leading to speculation that she will announce a tour in support of the album.

Not only that but Sabrina also gave her site a full update and the tour page now features the words 'Tour Planning Services' and an eye graphic on it as well as Sabrina's festival dates this summer (Sabrina will be playing The Governors Ball Music Festival in New York on June 8th and the Capital Summertime Ball in London on June 16th).

As a result, fans are convinced that Sabrina is "planning" the tour and will be announcing tour dates in the coming weeks.

When Sabrina does announce a tour in support of 'Short n' Sweet', there will likely be a presale. If it's a world tour in arenas, she will probably have a Citi Verified Fan Presale in the US and an O2 Priority Presale in the UK.

On top of that, there may also be additional Live Nation and fan presales. For the Emails I Can't Send Tour, there was a fan presale via Sabrina's mailing list.

Sabrina Carpenter Short n' Sweet Tour ticket prices: How much will the tickets be?

Based on Sabrina's huge rise in popularity and rumours that she will be playing arenas this tour, our guess is that tickets will be more expensive than the Emails I Can't Send Tour. In the UK, standing tickets for the Emails I Can't Send Tour were £29.50.

For comparison tickets for recent arena tours by Billie EIlish and Olivia Rodrigo have ranged between £75 and £150 for standard tickets.

It's also possible that Sabrina will offer a range of VIP tickets and fan experiences for an additional cost.

Short n' Sweet Tour dates: When is Sabrina Carpenter going on tour?

Sabrina is yet to announce any dates for a Short n' Sweet Tour but it's not unusual for artists to launch tours shortly after their albums come out. Essentially, we could be seeing Sabrina headlining her own shows again as soon as this September. 'Emails I Can't Send' came out on July 15th 2022 and the tour started on September 29th that year.

Sabrina Carpenter Short n' Sweet Tour locations: What cities will Sabrina play in?

No cities for Sabrina's tour have been confirmed just yet but, based on her international popularity, it seems likely that this will be a world tour and Sabrina's biggest tour to date. For the Emails I Can't Send Tour, Sabrina did shows in North America, South America, Europe and Asia. Our bet is that Oceania will also be part of the next tour.

Sabrina Carpenter Short n' Sweet Tour setlist: What songs will she play?

With a new album on the way, it seems likely that Sabrina's next tour setlist will predominantly feature songs from 'Short n' Sweet', as well as her biggest hits and fan favourite deep cuts.

'Espresso', 'Nonsense' and 'Feather' all seem like definite choices. Based on her recent set lists, 'Tornado Warnings', 'Vicious' and 'bet u wanna' could also feature.

Whether or not Sabrina plays any songs from her Singular albums or previous projects is yet to be seen.

In photos shared by Daily Mail , Carpenter and Keoghan were spotted having a “romantic dinner” in Brentwood, California.

It was suspected the new couple might attend the Golden Globes together. A source claimed in The Sun that the Eternals star gave Kierans a heads up about his planned relationship reveal.

“Barry thought it was best that Alyson was the first to know about him and Sabrina so she wouldn’t be hurt if she found out on social media,” the source alleged. “He is spending a lot of time in the States and has invited Sabrina to be his ‘plus one’ at the Golden Globes. Alyson and Barry still communicate for the sake of Brando, and he has been open about his new relationship.”

The actor was signing autographs and taking selfies with fans and even answering questions about a Jacob Elordi bathwater candle. But when questioned about Sabrina Carpenter...he stopped responding.

Carpenter was similarly coy when she made an appearance on Nova’s Smallzy’s Surgery on February 22. The show’s host, Smallzy, otherwise known as Kent Small, asked Carpenter if she’d seen Saltburn , Keoghan’s popular movie.

“You know, I have,” she replied.

Smallzy pushed the question, asking, “Did you love it?”

Carpenter replied, “Oh, I loved it. Such a good movie...anyways, I gotta go to the bathroom.”

They then moved on to other topics.

On Friday, February 24, Carpenter shared some clips and photos from her duet with Taylor Swift in Sydney, Australia, where she was the opening act for the Eras Tour. A weather-related issue delayed the show recently, meaning Carpenter couldn’t perform, but Swift invited her onstage to sing a mashup of “White Horse” and “Coney Island,” which thrilled the younger pop star.

She wrote on Instagram: “9 year old Sabrina singing ‘White Horse’ would never see this sh-t coming! I love you so so so dearly Taylor. Always have always will.”

In the comments, Keoghan left a queen emoji in support.

In a photo shared by fan account Pop Crave, Keoghan could be seen at Taylor Swift’s Eras Tour concert in Singapore, where Carpenter was the opening act.

He appeared to be alone in a closed off section of the arena, wearing a cream tank top and matching long shorts, plus a red hat.

Footage surfaced on social media of Carpenter running into Keoghan’s arms after one of her Singapore shows.

Keoghan gave Carpenter a public shout-out—and shared more proof they are dating. At an Academy Awards dinner with Louis Vuitton and W magazine in Los Angeles , the actor was seen wearing a Taylor Swift-style beaded friendship bracelet that reads “Sabrina.”

He also wore the bracelet the day before at an event with Vanity Fair and Instagram.

Carpenter was wrapping her performances up in Singapore when Keoghan wore the accessory in a tribute to her.

For her digital cover with Cosmopolitan, Carpenter talked dating and relationships.

“A lot of it, for me, has been fate. I know that’s super broad, but I don’t actively look for it. The relationships that I actually want to put my energy into have to be so interesting or invigorating because they take me away from the other things I love. So yeah, it’s fun and it’s messy. I think I’m still just at this place where I’m really enjoying the newness of all of it,” she said.

The author of the Cosmopolitan profile noted: “Sabrina and I had breakfast on January 8, when rumors of her and Saltburn actor Barry Keoghan were fuzzy at best. During Coachella, Keoghan played the supportive boyfriend as Carpenter took the stage for her first performance at the music festival ever. Attendees shared a clip on X, formerly known as Twitter, of Keoghan in front of the stage filming Carpenter throughout her set.

Another video showed him stopping to watch and enjoy Carpenter singing amongst the rest of her fans. They were later seen leaving her show together.

On Wednesday, April 17, TMZ shared pictures of Keoghan and Carpenter at Disney’s California Adventure with a group of friends. A source told the publication that the group headed to the theme park’s Mendocino Terrace for some wine. In the photos, the actor is wearing a blue baseball cap and matching graphic T-shirt. He appears to give Carpenter some sweet looks as she holds his hand and sips from an orange drink. She’s wearing blue denim and a white patterned shirt and carrying a small white handbag.

On Friday, April 19, Carpenter changed the outro of her hit “Nonsense” while onstage at Coachella, singing, “Man his knees so weak, he had to spread mine. He’s drinkin’ my bath water like it’s red wine.”

She added, “Coachella, see you back here when I headline.”

The new lyric sounds like a reference to Keoghan’ film Saltburn , which involves some explicit bathtub scenes to say the least. Fans reacted to the lyric change with screaming and clapping in the crowd. While Carpenter did not headline the festival this year, she did have a mainstage time slot before Lil Uzi Vert, Peso Pluma, and headliner Lana Del Rey.

Keoghan and Carpenter both attended this year’s Met Gala, and while they opted to walk the red carpet separately, fans got something just as good. After they each made their way up the steps, they stopped together for some photos at the top, and the full moment was captured on video . For the event, Carpenter wore a black and blue Oscar de la Renta mermaid-style gown, while Keoghan wore a brown velvet suit by Burberry with a ruffled Victorian dress shirt and top hat. One fan tweeted that their ensembles resemble Alice and the Mad Hatter from Alice Into the Looking Glass.

Keoghan threw Carpenter a party for her 25th birthday. The singer shared pictures from the event, which included a cake reading, “Is 25 that sweet? I guess so!” in reference to her hit single “Espresso.”

She had a second cake with a Leonardo DiCaprio meme printed on it reading, “Nooo don't turn 25 your so sexy aha.”

According to People , the event was a surprise that Keoghan arranged at DUMBO House in Brooklyn with 100 guests, including rapper Ice Spice. In a video shared by TMZ , Carpenter is clearly stunned. She can be heard saying, “I just walked in so confused.”

Ice Spice reportedly shared an Instagram Story of Carpenter blowing out the candles on her Leonardo DiCaprio cake and then Keoghan leaning in to give her a kiss.

Keoghan appears in Carpenter’s “ Please, Please, Please ” music video, and the two play a criminal couple. The song is about her hoping her new partner doesn’t make her look bad, with lines like, “I beg you don’t embarrass me / Mother fucker,” and “I heard that you’re an actor / So act like a stand up guy.”
