James Live in 2024 tour setlist and support acts

British rock icons  James are really riding high right now.

In April, the Manchester legends celebrated their first ever Official Number 1 studio album with Yummy . 

The enduringly popular band told Official Charts at the time: “We really appreciate this. We’d really like to thank our amazing audience who’ve stuck with us for 42 years. Thank you so much for going out and buying our Yummy, delicious record, and long may it all continue."

Yummy – their 18th studio LP – is James' second UK Number 1 album after 1998's The Best Of compilation. That collection brought together many of their biggest Official Singles Chart hits up to that point including Sit Down (Number 2 in 1991), Sound (Number 9 in 1991) and She's a Star (Number 9 in 1997). Now, the nine-piece band fronted by Tim Booth are heading out on a UK arena tour kickstarted by a couple of intimate warm-up gigs. At this point in their career, James have a mammoth catalogue to draw from, so here's a guide to their likely 2024 setlist.

While no concrete setlist for James' UK tour has been revealed, the band played a full 20-song concert in Madrid, Spain on 16 May.  Here's the full setlist from that gig, which obviously may be tweaked – or even fully overhauled – for their UK shows.

Who is James' 2024 support act?

James have enlisted noughties indie kings Razorlight to open for them on all dates. Fronted by Johnny Borrell, the London band have scored five Top 10 hits to date, including 2006's Number 1 smash America .

Their most recent album release, 2022's compilation Razorwhat – The Best Of , peaked at Number 49 on the Official Albums Chart.

James has announced a headline show featuring special guests Razorlight at The O2, taking place on Saturday 15 June 2024.

Following on from a hugely successful 40th Anniversary year, the band will be releasing their 17th studio album in April 2024, the first single of which will be announced in January, with further details to follow soon. Fans have a chance to access pre-sale tickets for the tour if they pre-order the new album. The pre-order link is here. 

James were honoured at The Ivor Novello Awards 2023, receiving the PRS Music Icon Award, kick starting a whole year of celebration for their 40th Anniversary. This prestigious award was followed by the release of their orchestral double album Be Opened By The Wonderful which reached #3 in the UK charts in June and a run of sold out tour dates, receiving the best reviews of their career. Throughout the summer the band then headlined multiple UK and European festivals, culminating in two unique shows backed by full orchestra and choir at The Odeon Of Herodes Atticus, Athens and a Special Guest headline slot at Latitude Festival.

James have entered in to a golden era, and will continue to do so in 2024 and for many more years to come.

Since forming in 2002, Razorlight  have cemented their place as one of Britain’s Classic Indie-Rock bands. Their debut album ‘Up All Night ’ came out in 2004, capturing the incendiary energy of early 2000s London and carrying the era defining hits ‘Golden Touch’ and ‘Somewhere Else’.Their self-titled, UK number one follow-up  ‘Razorlight’ made the leap onto the international stage. James and his All-Star Band will play 13 shows in Japan, Philippines, Australia, New Zealand and Hawaii in Spring 2024!

Presales for all dates start Wednesday, December 6. See the Schedule page for local start times.

Oasis confirm more tour dates after ‘unprecedented demand’

The hype around Oasis ’ reunion has been overwhelming so it’s no surprise the band has decided to put on extra tour dates to accommodate.

Fans have been in panic mode , wondering how on earth they will secure tickets to shows in Manchester , London , Edinburgh , Cardiff , and Dublin — and how much that will cost them.

Oasis (shockingly) revealed that Noel and Liam Gallagher had put aside their feud to reunite in 2025 for a World Tour, dubbed Oasis Live ’25.

Seeing the huge demand, a pre-sale ballot was set up to help control the demand for tickets, prices for which will start at around £74.

Now, Oasis has revealed that there are more dates still to come as due to ‘unprecedented demand’, three further gigs have been added.

Liam, 51, shared the announcement on social media and wrote: ‘Due to unprecedented demand, three new UK dates will be added to Oasis Live ‘25 🔥.’

The extra dates include a Heaton Park show on July 16, an extra Wembley gig on July 30 and another Edinburgh concert on August 12.

Fans who entered the ballot for pre-sale opportunity are still waiting to hear if they’ve landed a lucky slot — although many haven’t had a confirmation yet.

The ballot winners will be revealed tomorrow at 9am but it’s unclear how much of an impact that will have on actually being able to secure tickets, given half the world (away) has applied for it.

This comes after the band confirmed they would not be heading to Glastonbury 2025, after huge speculation due to gaps in the tour schedule.

I haven't got my ballot confirmation email yet - what should I do?

Unfortunately, there’s actually very little you can do other than wait and pray.

It seems — due to the huge demand — many people have not received a confirmation email and those that have are no wiser for it.

The confirmation email, which fans needed to click through a link to secure their entry, does not guarantee tickets.

A new update from Oasis today has confirmed that the presale ballot has been extended, meaning you have a bit longer to wait.

‘Due to a last minute surge in pre-sale ballot entries, a number of confirmation emails are still being processed and sent out,’ a tweet on Oasis’s official X page reads.

‘The deadline to confirm your entry has now been extended to 10am BST tomorrow morning (Friday 30th August).

‘If successful in the ballot, you will be contacted tomorrow by 5pm BST with pre-sale access information. Thank you for your patience.’

The date and time for the presale is still unknown at this stage.

‘Despite media speculation, Oasis will not be playing Glastonbury 2025 or any other festivals next year,’ they wrote.

‘The only way to see the band perform will be on their Oasis Live ’25 World Tour.’

Ticket prices have been confirmed and it’s not as eyewatering as many fans were anticipating, ranging from £74.25 to £506.25 for the pre-show party package.

While not all of us have £506.25 to splash on a pre-show party and VIP access package, there are some far more reasonably priced tickets around.

Official seller Gigs And Tours has now revealed the prices, with Manchester tickets starting from £148.50.

There are no seated tickets available in Manchester without purchasing a VIP package too, standing is the only option if you don’t want a luxury ticket.

Meanwhile, standing at Wembley will cost £151.25, which is slightly more expensive than the same tickets in Cardiff and Edinburgh which are £150 and £151 respectively.

Those aren’t the cheapest tickets in Scotland though, as you can grab some — likely obstructed or nosebleed — seats for £74 while in Cardiff they will cost £73.

Oasis shot to fame in 1994 with their debut album Definitely, Maybe, leading to a string of hits like Wonderwall and Champagne Supernova from their follow-up record.

Tickets for the upcoming Oasis tour, taking part from July 4 and kicking off at Cardiff Principality Stadium to August 17, finishing at Dublin Croke Park, will be on sale 9am (UK) and 8am (IRE) Saturday August 31 .

There’s no word on plans post-tour, most Britpop lovers are just hoping the truce can hold until that final date in August at Croke Park, Dublin.

Oasis have announced three extra concert dates in the UK for their reunion tour next year, and revealed details of how much tickets will cost.

The band said they were adding the extra gigs due to "unprecedented demand" following registration for a ticket pre-sale.

They have also extended the deadline to confirm entries to the pre-sale, to 10am UK time on Friday, after worry from some social media users that they had not received responses. Fans who are successful in the ballot will be contacted by 5pm tomorrow with access information.

Noel and Liam Gallagher confirmed the band's reunion on Tuesday morning , following weeks of speculation. The comeback comes 15 years after Noel quit the band, spelling the end of Oasis , until now.

The additional gigs mean the band will now play five Wembley concerts, five in their home city, and three in Scotland - on top of two in Ireland and two in Wales.

The new dates are: 16 July at Heaton Park, Manchester; 30 July, Wembley Stadium, London; 12 August, Murrayfield Stadium, Edinburgh.

As with the initial gigs, the bulk of tickets for the new dates, following the pre-sale, go on sale on Saturday morning..

How much are tickets?

The new shows come after the band announced that some fans would be able to get their hands on tickets a day early through a pre-sale ballot - cue thousands of people rushing to register to be in with a chance .

A post on the Oasis social media channels said there had been an "unprecedented volume of entries".

Prices for the cheapest seats in London, Cardiff and Edinburgh range between £73 and £74.25, while standing tickets for the three venues will cost fans between £150 and £151.25, according to Manchester-based promoter SJM Concerts, which runs the website Gigs And Tours.

In Manchester, where only standing tickets are available, alongside a number of hospitality and luxury packages, tickets start from £148.50.

Before the announcement for UK shows, Irish promoters MCD said the price of both of the gigs in Dublin would start at 86.50 euros (£72.75), without booking fees.

The most expensive tickets available for Wembley are £506.25, which include a pre-show party and exhibition.

Fans have complained that hotels in the gig areas have already ramped up prices. One chain in Manchester was accused of cancelling a booking made prior to the reunion announcement - and relisting the room for a higher price .

Glastonbury rumours shut down

Ahead of the reunion announcement, some media reports suggested the band would be playing a record 10 dates at Wembley, as well as a headline performance at Glastonbury .

However, the band ended speculation about the festival slot, saying in a statement: "Despite media speculation, Oasis will not be playing Glastonbury 2025 or any other festivals next year. The only way to see the band perform will be on their Oasis Live '25 World Tour."

Plans are in place for further dates outside Europe, the band confirmed in the original announcement, but no further details have been released.

'The great wait is over'

Following weeks of speculation, both of the Gallagher brothers shared the reunion news on their social media sites on Tuesday, saying: "This is it, this is happening."

"The guns have fallen silent," Oasis said. "The stars have aligned. The great wait is over. Come see. It will not be televised."

Fifteen years after the band's break-up, the brothers were pictured together for the first time in years to mark the announcement, with the photograph understood to have been taken in London in July. It is not known whether they had met up prior to that.

Revealing details about why the reunion is finally happening now after years without speaking to each other, the band's statement said there had been "no great revelatory moment", but rather "the gradual realisation that the time is right".

Today marks the 30th anniversary of Oasis's debut album, Definitely Maybe - something they said must have been a "subconscious influence" on their decision.

Details of who else from Oasis's previous line-ups will rejoin them for the tour, or of other musicians in the pipeline, have yet to be confirmed.

They have not said whether there are any plans to release new music.

Amid concerns about touts and ticket prices, the band have partnered with Twickets as their official resale platform, "to ensure their 2025 UK tour tickets are resold for no more than face value and booking fees".

The Oasis website states: "Ticket resale is permitted at no more than the price you paid (face value + booking fees). Please only use the official resale partners www.twickets.live and Ticketmaster. Selling tickets through unauthorised resale platforms will breach these T&Cs and those tickets may be cancelled."

Oasis fans have been scrambling to buy tickets for the band's reunion tour as the general sale opens but are there still tickets on sale?

With tickets for the first Oasis gigs since 2009 going on general sale at 9am on Saturday morning, thousands are in the queue with one question on their mind - are there any tickets left to buy?

It is believed that 14 million people will try and buy tickets for their shows in Cardiff, Manchester, London, Edinburgh and Dublin and the live queue on the sites selling the tickets has hundreds of thousands of fans waiting for hours to have an opportunity to buy a slice of history.

It has been 15 years since brothers Liam and Noel Gallagher have been seen on stage together and this reunion is reportedly bringing in £40 million into the coffers of the Gallagher brothers.

Ticketmaster’s Irish site told Oasis fans that all of the tickets currently released for the band’s gigs at Dublin’s Croke Park have sold out. At 1.23 pm, the website posted a message saying: “UPDATE: There are currently no tickets available. Please check back later as more may be released.” The remaining UK dates are still available though availability is described as 'low'.

See Tickets, GigsandTours and Ticketmaster, who are selling the tickets, have seen their sites struggling with the demand, though they are reporting that fans are slowly getting towards the front of the queue. With tickets not officially sold out as yet, where their is opportunity there is hope for those hoping to get over the line and bag one of the most sought after tickets of recent times.

Oasis have confirmed a reunion tour is taking place in 2025 across the UK. With 14 dates announced so far, Liam and Noel Gallagher will return to stages together for the first time in 16 years. Tickets are being released on Saturday, August 31, 2024 at 9am and will be available from Ticketmaster here . They will also be on sale at See Tickets .

Some fans have been met with a blank page on Ticketmaster but the site has assured them that patience is required as space becomes available to buy a ticket. It said: "Our website is very busy! We have lots of people looking for tickets and you are being held on this page until a space becomes available. This page will refresh automatically."

With much fury from Oasis fans being spread on social media, the customer service accounts of Ticketmaster Ireland and Ticketmaster UK on X, formerly Twitter , announced that their session had been “suspended” and the were having to restart the purchase process.

Staff at the ticket-selling website replied saying: “Please make sure you are only using one tab, clear your cookies, and ensure you aren’t using any VPN software on your device.” It also shared a link with its guide on “how to improve your chances for getting popular tickets”.

A spokeswoman for Ticketmaster denied the website had crashed , and advising that customers “to hold their place in line”. At 11.55am Ticketmaster issued an update confirming tickets were still available but some areas were sold out. They posted: "Tickets are still available, but inventory is now limited and not all ticket prices are available."

Prices for a seat to watch the band at London’s Wembley Stadium begin at £74.25, with the most expensive ticket a £506.25 pre-show party, exhibition and seated package. The cheapest seats are Cardiff’s Principality Stadium shows, which will set you back £73, and Edinburgh’s Murrayfield Stadium at £74, according to Manchester-based promoter SJM Concerts, which runs the website Gigs And Tours.

Standing tickets at Wembley will cost fans £151.25, with the same tickets in Cardiff and Edinburgh slightly cheaper at £150 and £151 respectively. In the band’s home city of Manchester, tickets start from £148.50, with only standing available alongside a number of hospitality and luxury packages.

Oasis have announced three additional shows as part of their highly-anticipated 2025 reunion tour . The concerts include Manchester’s Heaton Park, London’s Wembley Stadium, and Edinburgh’s Murrayfield Stadium.

“Due to unprecedented demand, three new U.K. dates will be added to Oasis Live ‘25,” the band wrote on Twitter this morning, reminding fans that tickets go on sale Saturday, Aug. 31 at 9 a.m. BST.

Earlier this week, brothers Liam and Noel Gallagher confirmed they were putting aside their long-held differences to bring Oasis back together fifteen years after their breakup. The group announced the Oasis Live ’25 tour early Tuesday morning with tour dates in the U.K. and Ireland (details on North American shows yet to be announced).

The band officially confirmed the reunion after a  weekend of rumors and social media speculation  (that just happened to coincide with the 2024 Reading Festival — which Oasis headlined 24 years ago in 2000 — and the 30th anniversary of their debut album  Definitely Maybe ). Crawlers announce 2024 UK headline tour

The tour is in support of the band's debut EP 'The Mess We Seem To Make'

Crawlers have announced their first-ever 2024 UK headlining tour which is set to kick off later this winter.

The Liverpudlian quartet – comprised of Harry Breen, Liv May, Holly Minto and Amy Woodall – are set to play a string of live dates in support of their debut album ‘ The Mess We Seem To Make ‘. Kicking off on December 2 at the SWG3 Warehouse in Glasgow, the band will make their way across the UK making stops in Manchester, Liverpool, and Birmingham. The tour will wrap up at The Dome in London on December 7.

A ticket pre-sale will commence tomorrow (August 28) at 10am local time for fans who have signed up for the band’s official mailing list here . Crawlers previously spoke to NME while at Mad Cool Festival and discussed opening for My Chemical Romance. “I wish we could do it now because we never had like pre-production like guys, on tour that’s a thing. You need to be rehearsing. We were babies. We’d only played like basements in Liverpool and then we were playing with My Chemical Romance ,” frontwoman Holly Minto told us.

She continued: “We walked on to Shania Twain. I am sorry, the lack of realisation how big that was going to be for us but yeah. When Gerard Way said the band’s name, that was the best moment of my life.”

So that’s almost it for summer 2024. We’ve had an almighty summer of live music in the capital. Over at Wembley Stadium there was the Eras tour , only weeks before the likes of AC/DC and Bruce Springsteen delivered their own historical stamp on the capital.

In Central London, the likes of Stevie Nicks and Stray Kids delivered unforgettable moments at Hyde Park’s BST Festival, before the likes of Loyle Carner and Justice left their mark on East London for All Points East.

But as the summer winds down, talk inevitably turns to who will be gracing the capital next summer. Here’s the biggest shows so far…

This is the big one. Oasis have finally buried the hatchet and will reunite for a string of massive gigs at venues including London’s Wembley Stadium next summer. They’ll play five dates at the national Stadium next summer and tickets are expected to be in hot demand when they go on sale at 9AM tomorrow. The celebrated Welsh rockers are ascending to the big leagues for the first time ever, taking in a stop-off at Tottenham Hotspur Stadium on August 3. It’s a massive occasion for Van McCann and the gang, and you’ll be able to get your tickets here.

No doubt they’ll take the performance fully in their stride, following a massive headline set at Reading & Leeds last weekend.

Fresh from releasing their brilliant fourth album Romance , Fontaines D.C. will play their biggest show to date at London’s Finsbury Park next summer.

The Dublin band will play the one-off date on July 5 next year, with support coming from Amyl & The Sniffers,  Kneecap  and a selection of other acts to be confirmed.

In June, the group also headlined Glastonbury’s Park Stage, delivering a set that Rolling Stone UK  described as “a tantalising teaser of a new era”.

Oasis have announced their long-awaited reunion tour , 15 years after the infamous backstage bust-up between brothers Noel and Liam Gallagher.

The Manchester-formed group, one of the defining rock bands of the Nineties, split in 2009 after a fiery row in Paris and have not played together since.

In a highly anticipated message, the band announced a run of 14 shows in the UK and Ireland next summer.

“The guns have fallen silent. The stars have aligned. The great wait is over. Come see. It will not be televised,” the band said.

The dates in Cardiff, Manchester, London, Edinburgh and Dublin will be Oasis’s “only shows in Europe next year”, it’s been confirmed. Find details on how to get tickets here.

There have been a number of hints in recent months, not least a surprise interview last week where Noel offered some rare praise of his younger brother. Both he and Liam have enjoyed successful solo careers since their split – Liam as a singer-songwriter and Noel with his band the High Flying Birds.

Manchester promises ‘good party right across the city’ to celebrate Oasis reunion

Bev Craig, leader of Manchester City Council, who represents the Burnage ward, where the brothers grew up, said the news of the band’s reunion was “massive”.

She told the PA news agency: “I think Oasis is one of Manchester’s most iconic bands in the modern age, and obviously we’ve been working hard behind the scenes to make sure that this could come off, and that they’d be able to play in Manchester in a fantastic homecoming gig.

“And I think it’s just really, really great. It’s great for the city, the city’s changed a lot since Oasis were last together, hopefully significantly for the better on the world stage, but we’ll still be really happy to be host to the two Burnage boys as they reunite and come together in (council-run) Heaton Park.”

She added: “I think the whole city will be excited next summer, and I think we’ll no doubt see lots of events and activities that will sit alongside this and really, I think, celebrate it for the moment that it is.

“So I think we’ll make sure that we put on a good party right across the city for people to enjoy.”

Fans concerned about Oasis ticket prices and whether reconciliation will last

Glaswegian David Walker, a leading member of the Oasis Collectors Group, told the PA news agency that he also remains worried about if Liam and Noel Gallagher will make it through their tour without another bust-up .

He said: “You wonder if they’ll make it through the tour, how are they going to rehearse? There’s been so many little infractions with them, you wonder, like, is the old stuff going to come up again?

“But no, ultimately, right now, very positive and yeah, it’s what the people want. It’s what, arguably, Britain might want right now, because, everyone’s fairly depressed and don’t have a lot of money.

“ As long as the tickets are, you know, reasonably priced, I suppose, which they probably won’t be, because there’ll be so much demand, there’s talk of like, 10 nights at London, which that might only be the tip of the iceberg. There might even be more than that.”
