What is a Prenup in Bitlife?

A prenup, a.k.a. a prenuptial agreement, in BitLife, works much like it does in the real world. This agreement outlines the division of in-game assets or finances in case things go wrong.

After countless blind dates, finding a compatible partner, and building a strong rapport, you'll then reach the engagement stage. You have the liberty to plan your wedding as you see fit after the engagement, just ensure it doesn't drag on for three in-game years.

If either you or your partner has substantial wealth in Bitlife, the option for a prenuptial agreement will automatically appear, displaying the current net worth of both parties when you decide to marry.

One spouse may be entitled to more than half of the in-game assets after tying the knot without a prenup. But if you sign it, your net worth will remain intact once the decision to part ways is made.

You also have the right to decline and end the relationship if you're not comfortable with that arrangement, but this applies both ways. Still, there are some important things to know about how prenups work in BitLife. Prenups typically protect only the assets acquired before marriage, not wealth accumulated during the marriage.

For example, if you begin with $80,000 and your partner starts with $20,000, those amounts won't be subject to loss with a prenup signed.

Any assets earned during the marriage will still be divided equitably after divorce. Bitlife is just as unpredictable as life, and lasting marriage isn’t assured. You'd rather play it safe than end up regretting it. If you want to circumvent this altogether, the only way is to stay married until the end, as assets accumulated during the marriage are typically shared only in the event of a divorce.

How To Be Born A Male In Germany

To kickstart the Ex-SOLDIER challenge, you'll need to start a new life as a male in Germany . First, go to the Activities menu, scroll to the bottom, and select Surrender to end your current life.

Now begin a new life by selecting Start a Custom Life . Set the Country to Germany and Gender to Male .

The specific birthplace within Germany doesn't matter, so feel free to choose any location.

How To Become A Soldier In The Army

You cannot apply to become a soldier until you turn 18, so start by aging up your character . While aging, focus on maintaining good health and staying in shape by regularly visiting the gym and going for walks. This will improve your chances of acceptance into the military.

• Once your character turns 18, go to the Occupation tab.
• Select the Military option.
• Choose the Army branch.
• Select Enlist to become a soldier and complete this objective.

How To Desert Your Station After Deployment

To desert your station after deployment, focus on aging up your character until you receive your first deployment mission . Once deployed, navigate to the Occupation tab and select your Army job . From the available options, choose "Desert" to abandon your post . Confirm your decision to complete the third objective of this challenge.

How To Date A Biologist

To find a biologist to date in BitLife, begin by heading to the Love from the Activities tab . Once there, select the option to Date. Look through potential partners until you find someone with the occupation of biologist.

While you might be lucky and find a biologist right away, be prepared to keep trying until you land a match. By searching persistently, you'll increase your chances of dating a biologist and completing this objective.

How To Marry A Childhood Friend

To complete the last objective of this challenge, navigate to the Relationship tab . Locate your childhood friend from the list and focus on increasing the relationship bar . Make sure to use compliments, gifts, and dates to fill the relationship bar, and once your connection is strong, propose them for a marriage.

Often, completing BitLife challenges requires you to perform specific actions in school or at work, with ones like the Thank You, Next challenge asking you to go out with people in secondary school. Let’s discuss what this school is and how to finish this challenging task.

What is Secondary School in BitLife?

Although the name suggests secondary school is the second school you visit, this is not always the case, as this refers to what’s commonly known as high school. In countries like Canada and the United States, secondary school refers to high school, which you visit for four years before entering college, university, or the workforce.

In other words, if BitLife requires you to complete a challenge task in secondary school, you’ll have to age up your character until they enter “secondary school” or “high school”, depending on your chosen country.

To go out with people for challenges like the Thank You, Next challenge, you’ll have to pursue romantic relationships with your high school classmates. In short, rather than dating random individuals, befriend and ask out your classmates until you knock out this task. Whether you do this in one year or several is up to you, as long as you romance at least five people.

Just make sure you finish this before graduating from secondary school. In countries like the United States, high school lasts four years, giving you this much time to accomplish what you need to.

Similarly, if you’re attempting other challenges and want to become captain of a sports team, enter a clique, or befriend several classmates, you’ll only have four years to do these, too. Try to complete these sooner rather than later to make things easier on yourself.

BitLife Vampire Update Guide: Everything we know so far

The Vampire update is one of four job packs listed under the Coming Soon section in the Job Pack menu in BitLife. There is little known about the Vampire Job pack/update besides the brief description in-game. The description that we can see describes the following:  Rise from the grave and claim victims!  Based on this description, there will likely be at least o ne Special Career  and several sub-jobs.

We based this on the fact that all previous job packs always added at least  one career . However, it's unlikely that we will receive more than one job from the Vampire job pack update. Nonetheless, the update's theme will likely revolve around the possibility of characters coming back from the dead as  Vampires . When characters come back as  Vampires , they may have various options to plague the lives of the many NPCs in BitLife. 

To accomplish this, the developers may add a feature to the character graveyard that allows users to pick which character they want to summon as a vampire. However, this is all speculation, so we can only be 100 percent certain once we hear it directly from developers. More potential features based on previous job packs might include new challenges, achievements, and ribbons. It might also be possible for a normal character to somehow become a Vampire after being attacked by one.

Want to live your best (or worst) life? That’s exactly what BitLife, the simulation game downloaded by millions around the world, allows players to do. In its very own app description, BitLife encourages users to “simulate adult life” and “play choices that horrify your parents” . With such vivid descriptions, we simply had to investigate to see if BitLife is really safe for kids, and what parents can do to make gameplay less “horrifying”.

What is BitLife?

BitLife is a single player life simulation game in which users make decisions based on a series of multiple choice questions presented to them as they get older (within the game). Such is life, the game follows the player from childhood through to adulthood, and invites them to make a series of decisions which will affect their future, such as what to study at college. While playing, users can decide what they want to do with their free time, what they want to spend money on, and who they want to form relationships with. They can buy properties, go for workouts at the gym, and tend to their garden – all activities the average person might experience during their lifetime. 

The profiles and storylines behind the life simulator are all made up – BitLife is like a role play app, and while this simulation might sound relatively innocent, the app introduces more mature themes as the character grows , such as the character’s sexual activity and alcohol use. And while the majority of activities the user can engage with are run-of-the-mill, there are also more immoral decisions and activities to be encountered, such as whether to engage in criminal activity. 

What do kids like about BitLife?

1. Life simulation

From The Sims to Animal Crossing, kids have been playing life simulation games for decades. Their popularity rests in putting people in charge: simulation games mimic many aspects of real life , and it’s appealing for kids and adults alike to be in control of how, and when something happens to their in-game character.

2. Social sharing 

BitLife also has a social aspect to it, in which the user is encouraged to share milestones and events with their friends on social media. Kids may enjoy sharing the different scenarios they’re faced with, and their own individual outcome. 

3. Choosing their own destiny 

Another appeal of life simulation games is the fact that there’s no right or wrong way to play them. Within these games, your child is invited to make their own decisions – learning from successes and failures. 

4. Simple gameplay 

Relying on few visuals, the multiple-choice format is easy to navigate , which makes it simple for children to quickly understand how to play.

Is BitLife safe for kids?

The themes brought up across gameplay in BitLife are inappropriate for very young children, and most teenagers . However, if you are a parent of young adults or older teenagers, you may decide that playing BitLife could be an opportunity for you as a family to discuss some of the themes the app brings up. 

A significant amount of the decision-making is based around themes which would mostly be considered inappropriate for children , including drug use, the user’s sex life, criminal activity, and much more.

How old do you have to be to use Bitlife?

Bitlife’s maker, Candywriter LLC, states that “our Services are not directed, or intended for children under the age of 16” in its terms and conditions .  

On official app stores, however, the recommended age rating is higher, with Apple classifying it as suitable for 17+, and Android labeling it with their “Mature 17+” tag. 

Is Bitlife free?

While it’s not necessary to buy anything in the game to make it playable, in-app purchases are designed to be frequent and difficult to click away from , so it’s possible children could accidentally say yes to in-app purchases as they navigate the app. 

There is an upgraded version of the app, called Bitizenship , which offers:

• No more in-app ads or ad placements
• “VIP access” to special locations 
• The ability to change your character’s appearance
• Interaction with extra characters (including teachers and bosses, but also the Mafia), who are off limits in the free version
• The option to join a prison gang or hire a hitman

Players can also remove in-app purchases, but not access any Bitizenship features, for a lower one-time payment price. 

Additionally, for a higher price, Bitlife players can unlock “ God mode ” , which allows them to make edits to names and people’s appearance throughout the game. 

In-app advertising in Bitlife

Most of the promoted ad content tends to be for similar life-simulation style apps, which often feature mature themes as part of their storyline. It’s possible that your child could be prompted to download apps which contain much more inappropriate content than the BitLife game itself, especially as in-game ads are run frequently and are unskippable.

How can I make BitLife safe for my kids?

With younger children, we’d certainly recommend blocking the app entirely, but with older teenagers, you may want to have an open and honest discussion surrounding the app and how it might not fit in with your family’s values.

To help make BitLife safer for older teens, you could try:

• Ensuring your child is using apps which are age-appropriate with a parental control tool such as Qustodio, which allows you to see which new apps your child downloads, and to investigate further if you’re not sure of its content. 
• Due to BitLife’s addictive playalong structure, if you do decide to let your child play the game, implementing time limits would be a good way to restrict the amount of time they engage with the life simulator.

In theory, life simulation games can be a healthy way for kids to learn about the real world, and experiment. As every in-game action has a consequence, it’s a good way for children to learn from their mistakes, or lack of them. However, BitLife isn’t the best example of a life simulation game . While the simplistic form makes it easy to play, it’s more mindless than mindful entertainment, and as it’s scattered with random prompts to make unrealistic life decisions, or even illegal ones, the case for any educational aspect is difficult to plead. 

As a parent, you know what’s best for you and your family, and what kind of games and apps you’re comfortable with your child playing. We’d suggest seeking out more complete, age-appropriate life simulation games , such as ones that allow your child to decide the fate of individuals, families, or even whole cities and communities. 

With the right life simulation game, your child can get creative with design, explore and develop their planning and problem-solving skills, and so much more. That game certainly isn’t BitLife!

How to complete the Disco Inferno Challenge in BitLife

Prepare to become a royal party animal in BitLife’s Disco Inferno challenge as you visit nightclubs between your royal duties. Here’s how to complete the Disco Inferno Challenge in  BitLife .

BitLife Disco Inferno Challenge guide

The Disco Inferno Challenge in BitLife has five objectives to complete:

• Become a King
• Hook up with someone you met at the club
• Give someone you met at the club an STD
• Execute 5+ different people by burning them at the stake
• Go to the club after each execution

Although you won’t have to buy any expansions for this challenge, having God Mode can help you become royalty much quicker. Otherwise, you’ll rely on luck for the first task, which can take some time if you’re unlucky.

How to become a King in BitLife

Before becoming a king in BitLife, you must become a prince. There are two ways to do this: be born into royalty or marry a royal. Both rely heavily on luck unless you own God Mode.

To be born into royalty, you must create a male character whose starting country has a monarchy. My go-to countries are the United Kingdom, Denmark, and Belgium. You must be born as a prince to eventually become king; it’s impossible to become king immediately, nor can you ascend to this status as a baron, viscount, or duke.

Once you’re born as a prince, it’s just a matter of taking over your father’s title as king once he passes. If your character has older siblings, they’ll take on the title instead. You can eliminate them yourself to hasten the process or try your luck at another character and repeat everything.

Alternatively, you can marry into royalty. To do this, create a male character in one of the countries I listed above and age up until they’re old enough to date. Once your character becomes a teenager, head into the dating menu and go through your options until you find your country’s princess to begin dating her. Over time, you’ll get married, bringing you to prince status. From here, becoming a king is the same as the previous method.

Hook up with someone you met at the club in BitLife

You’re ready to visit some nightclubs once you become king through marriage or noble birth. To do this, head into Activities, pick Nightlife, and choose any club you wish. You can encounter multiple scenarios, from someone arguing with you to someone offering you a drink.

Your focus is to find someone attempting to seduce your character and accept the advance. Again, luck is involved here, so just continue visiting the nightclub until you see this pop-up.

Since the next task involves giving someone an STD, it’s worth getting one first before visiting the nightclub. That way, you’ll knock out both objectives in one. However, it’s completely up to you which you do first.

Give someone you met at the club an STD in BitLife

Your BitLife character can gain STDs by having unprotected nights with NPCs. A quick and easy way to get one is by hooking up with others through the game’s dating menu and choosing to avoid protection.

However, since your character is a king at this point, you can consider going to a fertility clinic and getting sterilized, preventing you from having children out of wedlock. Although optional, it lowers your odds of getting exiled for your actions, especially as we move on to the next task.

Regardless of whether you get sterilized, getting an STD also requires some luck for this challenge. Continue meeting other characters until you catch an STD before visiting the nightclub, accepting someone’s advances, and passing it on to them to complete the fourth task.

Execute people by burning people at the stake in BitLife

The last two tasks of the Disco Inferno challenge require you to execute five people. To do this, head into activities, go into royalty, and pick execute. You can choose anyone you’d like, as long as burning at the stake is the method you use.

With each execution you perform, you’ll have to visit the nightclub after. It doesn’t matter how your nightclub visit goes as long as you go after every execution. Once you finish all five, you’ll complete the Disco Inferno challenge in BitLife .

Here is how players can increase their likelihood of becoming a lawyer in BitLife .

Maintain a High Intellect

Like in the real world, players must study comprehensively to become a lawyer in BitLife from an early age. High intelligence increases a player’s chances of getting into Law School . Furthermore, it almost always guarantees a scholarship .

Apart from having high intelligence stats, players must also maintain a Smarts score of 70% or above . This can be done by watching documentaries, reading books, and performing exceptionally well in school.

Furthermore, after players start school, they must tap the Study Harder option consistently throughout their character’s life. This can be done via the following method:

• Visit the School’s page.
• Locate the Primary/Secondary option.
• Tap on the Study Harder option.

After a player’s character reaches the age of 12, they must visit the library often from that point onwards. Players can visit the Library by following the steps below:

• Visit the Activities Section.
• Head over to the Mind and Body section from there.
• Locate Library from the list, and click on it.

University Enrollment

Once players complete secondary school, they can choose to attend university. However, a noteworthy point for players here is to keep their major as Political Science , Criminal Justice , or any other subject that is relevant to their Law Degree. However, Criminal Justice is the most preferred since it is directly linked to a Law Degree.

BitLife: How to Become an Exorcist

Players can also choose their university, naturally. If they get into Varsity , the trajectory is only upwards and smooth from there. However, if that’s not the case, then players will have to start from Community Colleges.

University Graduation

Once players have completed university, it will be time to enter Law School. In BitLife , the Law School is considered to be one of the toughest schools to get into. Hence, players need to maintain a consistent high intellect by reading books, going to the library frequently, and studying diligently to get selected.

Becoming a Lawyer

Now that players have completed their legal studies, it's time to set foot in the practical world of BitLife . To start working as a lawyer, players must select the Occupations option. From there, you can browse the available job titles through the Jobs section.

Since the player won’t directly become a lawyer, they first start as a Law Clerk , a Junior Associate , or a Partner . Once players choose one of these roles, they can start working their way up to the top.
