Maroon 5 Expand World Tour With New North American Dates

Maroon 5 are extending their ongoing world tour with 13 additional stops at arenas across North America.

After some scattered dates in the Middle East, as well as California and Canada through May and June, the pop-rock band will officially kick off a North American tour July 30 at the Moda Center in Portland, Oregon. The new set of dates will stretch through Aug. 20 when Maroon 5 will wrap things up with a performance at Montreal’s Centre Bell Arena.

Tickets for the newly announced dates go on sale via Ticketmaster on Friday, April 29 at 10 a.m. local time.

The extensive tour is in support of Maroon 5’s seventh studio album Jordi , released last year. The LP features “Memories” and the Megan Thee Stallion-assisted “Beautiful Mistakes.” The trek also coincides with the 20th anniversary of the group’s debut album, Songs About Jane .

Maroon 5 in Concert Maroon 5 have released two multi-platinum studio albums (2002's Songs About Jane and 2007's It Won't Be Soon Before Long), scored a string of hit singles ("This Love," "She Will Be Loved," "Harder to Breathe," "Sunday Morning," "Makes Me Wonder"), won three Grammy Awards, and sold 15 million albums around the world. Now the Los Angeles quintet is back with its third-studio album, entitled Hands All Over — a killer hybrid of rock, pop, funk, and R&B, that showcases the band's considerable strengths: buoyant, unforgettable melodies, sleek, stylish grooves, charged lyrics about turbulent relationships, and crisp, dynamic performances.

Adam Levine, the band's lyricist, began writing the songs that appear on Hands All Over after winding down from a world tour in support of It Won't Be Soon Before Long. A few months later, Maroon 5 received a phone call from veteran studio wizard Robert John "Mutt" Lange (AC/DC, Foreigner, The Cars), who had heard that Maroon 5 were beginning to write a new album and expressed an interest in producing it. "We didn't even talk to anyone else," Levine says. "Mutt is undeniably one of the most successful producers who's ever lived."

Levine's first performing experience — in fact the event that ignited his desire to become a singer and musician — actually involves Lange. The story goes like this: 20 years ago, when Levine was 10, he attended a friend's birthday party "at one of those places in the San Fernando Valley where the kids dress up in rock'n'roll gear and lip-sync their favorite songs," he says. Levine chose the Def Leppard classic "Pour Some Sugar On Me." "I knew I could sing because my music teacher told me I had a voice, but I had never really performed before. I grabbed the mic and just went for it. Afterwards I knew that I've got to do this for the rest of my life. That's what got the whole ball rolling for me." The classic anthem "Pour Some Sugar On Me" was, of course, famously produced by Lange. "If that's not a full 360, I don't know what is," Levine says. "It doesn't get more circular than that." 

In July 2009, the members of Maroon 5 — Levine, keyboardist Jesse Carmichael, bassist Mickey Madden, guitarist James Valentine, and drummer Matt Flynn — decamped to Lange's studio in Vevey, Switzerland, on the north shore of Lake Geneva where they worked distraction-free with the Swiss Alps looming in the distance. "Just being near those majestic mountains and lakes was so inspiring," says Jesse Carmichael. "Waking up and seeing these giant snow-capped peaks, it set the tone for the record and made the whole thing feel like some sort of magical summer camp experience." Adds Carmichael: "Mutt really helped us play to the best of our ability. And it drove us to be bigger and better than ever. Everything he does is huge."

"Huge" is a good way to describe Hands All Over, starting with the hard-rocking title track that is heavier than anything Maroon 5 has ever done. Says Valentine: "It doesn't sound like anything we've done so far." Another stylistic departure is "Out of Goodbyes," a stunning country ballad that features musical and vocal contributions from Nashville chart-toppers Lady Antebellum. "We've always loved country music," Levine says, "and they brought that necessary twang to it with the lap steels, ambient guitar, and Hillary Scott's pretty country voice." Other highlights include the deeply groovy "Don't Know Much About That," the propulsive "Stutter" ("a great showcase for Adam's voice," Valentine says) and "Misery," which will thrill long-time Maroon 5 fans with its funky guitars and high-stepping melody. 

Maroon 5 first hit it big in 2002 with Songs About Jane, which went quadruple platinum and spawned four hit singles: the blockbuster Top 40 No. 1 "This Love," the Top 5 "She Will Be Loved," as well as "Harder to Breathe" and "Sunday Morning." Its success cemented their status as a world-class rock band and led to a 2005 Grammy Award win for "Best New Artist." They followed up Songs About Jane with Acoustic (2004), a collection of unplugged songs, and Live — Friday the 13th (2005), which earned them a second Grammy for "Best Pop Performance by a Duo or Group With Vocal" for the 2006 live recording of "This Love."

In May 2007, Maroon 5 released It Won't Be Soon Before Long, which debuted at No. 1 on the Billboard Top 200 album chart, selling nearly half a million copies its first week of release. The Grammy-nominated album featured several hits, including "If I Never See Your Face Again" and "Makes Me Wonder," which earned Maroon 5 their third Grammy, once again for "Best Pop Performance By A Duo or Group With Vocals." In 2009, they released Call & Response: The Remix Album, an 18-track "mixtape" that featured Pharrell Williams, Mark Ronson, Swizz Beatz, Paul Oakenfold, and many others, putting a new twist on the band's biggest hits. Maroon 5 also collaborated with Rihanna on a Grammy-nominated new version of "If I Never See Your Face Again," which appeared on the re-release of the Barbados-born pop star's 2007 album Good Girl Gone Bad. (Levine has also collaborated with Ying Yang Twins, Kanye West, Alicia Keys, Natasha Bedingfield, and K'naan.)

Along the way, Maroon 5 toured the world, including a sold-out headlining tour of the U.S., during which they partnered with environmental action organization Reverb to reduce their carbon footprint. Known for their commitment to the environment, Maroon 5 also became members of the NRDC (Natural Resources Defense Council) and were honored at the 2006 Environmental Media Awards and have pledged both time and energy toward Global Cool, an initiative launched to fight global warming by motivating a billion people worldwide to reduce their personal energy use. 

It won't be any different in 2010 when Maroon 5 release Hands All Over, which is as accessible and broadly appealing as anything the band has ever done, including their breakthrough smash Songs About Jane. "Every record should be like our first, that's the way we think about it," Levine says. "We don't ever want to rest on our laurels or get too cozy. We always want to keep aspiring to do our best — and this album captures that."

Maroon 5 on Tour

Maroon 5 announced dates for their 2020 U.S. tour, marking the biggest U.S. shows of the band's career with the group playing iconic venues such as at Wrigley Field, Fenway Park, Citi Field and Banc of California Stadium. The band's multi-country tour begins May 30, 2020 at North Island Credit Union Amphitheatre in Chula Vista, CA. Leon Bridges appears on all stadium dates. Meghan Trainor appears on all show dates. This follows the debut of their most recent single, "Memories". The release of "Memories" marked the first new music from the Los Angeles band since the release of their global anthem "Girls Like You."

Maroon 5 vegas residency.

Adam Levine and the gang put on an AWESOME SHOW! Hit after Hit after Hit! High energy and lots of audience interaction!!!! A must see for Vegas locals and visitors alike! 👍🏼👍🏼👍🏼

The venue was smaller and made the concert feel closer and more intimate. A full 2 hours of Maroon 5 with no opening acts made the whole experience fantastic. My videos have me singing along loudly and completely out of tune but I didn't care, I was having an amazing time. Thoroughly enjoyed it!

Great show, talented musicians, energy show EEEENNNNNNNEEEEERRRGGGGYYYYY

I’m a bigger fan than I thought!

Maroon 5 and Adam Levine put on an incredible performance at the Dolby Theater at Park MGM this last weekend. I’ve been to over a dozen concerts in the past 6 months and I can rate this as one of my top three. They gave us what we came there for… their hits with high energy, audience involvement along with sprinkles of comedic relief. I’m always so appreciative when performers acknowledge their fan base as well as indulging us with personal stories. Maroon 5 did just that and more. The encore was superb! This is one show I’d definitely see again.

By far the best concert I have ever attended ! The group put on a phenomenal show & Adam encouraged everyone to stand & sing, and everyone was so engaged! He even spoke of the death of his childhood friend (Jordan Feldstein), who was also his manager this brought tears to everyone’s eyes to see how humble he was and how much he cared for him! Looking forward to attend another one of his concerts!!

Their best Vegas show!

The venue is so perfect! Easiest entry and exit ever plus the size of Dolby Live is perfect and cozy feeling. Maroon 5 put on the best concert I have seen from them - it felt much more personal than other Vegas shows I have attended of theirs. I loved the in depth story telling and Levine coming out to the audience! Best moment was when they played my favorite Maroon 5 song - Lucky Strike! I didn’t see it on the set list so was surprised, okay I lost my mind! All around awesome experience!

Heart felt performance and so professional from top to bottom. 1000% worth every dime of the ticket price.

He doesn't have a very elaborate show but it's divine and he's nice to people.

Maroon 5 have revealed the details for the next leg of their 2022 World Tour dates, produced by Live Nation. Kicking off Saturday, July 30th at Moda Center in Portland, OR, these select dates will hit cities throughout Canada and North America, and conclude on Saturday, August 20 at Centre Bell in Montreal, Quebec. Maroon 5 S.I.N. members have first access to tickets before they go on sale to the general public.

Tickets go on sale to the general public on Friday, April 29 at 10 a.m. local time. Official Maroon 5 S.I.N. Club premium and standard members have early access to preferred tickets beginning TOMORROW, April 26 @ 10 a.m. local time..

GRAMMY® Award-winning multi-platinum powerhouse Maroon 5, have announced their UK/European tour and are set to headline The O2 on Monday 3 July 2023.

Maroon 5 stand out as not only one of pop music’s most enduring artists, but also one of the 21st century’s biggest acts. The band won over fans and critics alike with the hybrid rock/R&B sound they introduced on their debut album, Songs About Jane. To date, the universally renowned Los Angeles band have achieved three GRAMMY® Awards, over 90 million in album sales, 550 million singles worldwide and earned gold and platinum certifications in more than 35 countries.

Released in the summer of 2021, Maroon 5’s current studio album, JORDI (222/ Interscope), features the band’s latest hit single “Beautiful Mistakes” featuring Megan Thee Stallion. “Beautiful Mistakes” was #1 most added at Top 40 and Hot AC when it impacted radio and charted in the Top 20 on the HOT 100, Top 40 and Hot AC charts. Maroon 5 have announced details of a set of UK and European tour dates for 2023, including headline shows and festival appearances.

Celebrating the band’s latest album JORDI , the run will see the Adam Levine-fronted group spend almost a month on the continent, beginning in Lisbon on June 13. Across the tour, they will appear at festivals Prague Rocks, Denmark’s Tinderbox, and France’s Main Square Festival before wrapping up the dates at London’s The O2.

Tickets for the headline dates on the tour will go on sale at 10am local time on Friday (November 18) and will be available to purchase here .

The UK and European tour news comes after Maroon 5 confirmed a new Las Vegas residency for 2023. The stint will run at Dolby Live at Park MGM and will be custom-designed to give fans “an intimate concert experience in the 5,200-seat entertainment venue.”

The residency will begin on March 24 and will take place over select dates in March, April, July, and August.

JORDI , the band’s seventh studio album, was released in 2021 and features the hit singles “Nobody’s Love,” “Memories,” and “Beautiful Mistakes.” The latter features rapper Megan Thee Stallion and was the most added track on Top 40 and adult contemporary when it impacted radio, as well as charting in the Top 20 on the Billboard Hot 100, Top 40, and Adult Contemporary charts.

Maroon 5 add Birmingham date to 2023 tour

In addition to their London show

Maroon 5 has been bringing out hits since their debut album 'Songs About Jane' in 2002 which included hugely popular songs like 'This Love', 'Sunday Morning' and 'She Will Be Loved'. Among some of their recent hits are tracks 'Girls Like You' and 'Beautiful Mistakes' with Megan Thee Stallion. The band will perform their impressive music catalogue on their upcoming 2023 tour across Europe and the UK.

The Grammy Award-winning group will be heading across Europe in June, before bringing the shows to the UK in July, after which they will begin their Las Vegas residency. They announced the tour in November, with a huge date in London, and they have now added a show in Birmingham.

The tour announcement comes as the band prepares to wrap up their massive 2022 World Tour in Asia in December.

Adam Levine, Maroon 5 planning exclusive, one-night-only concert in Jacksonville

Fans of Maroon 5 have one opportunity to see one of pop music’s biggest acts in concert in the U.S. this year outside of the band’s Las Vegas residency. 

That opportunity comes in December in Jacksonville. 

Bold Events, the Jacksonville Jaguars’ events business that books shows at EverBank Stadium and Daily’s Place, announced Monday that the band led by frontman Adam Levine will play an exclusive, one-night-only concert at Daily’s Place on Thursday, Dec. 28. 

Tickets for the show go on sale at 10 a.m. Thursday, Aug. 24.

Since releasing its first album, “Songs About Jane,” more than 20 years ago, Maroon 5 has sold more than 96 million albums and 658 million singles, including hits like “This Love,” “She Will Be Loved,” “Moves Like Jagger,” “Sugar” and others.  In May, the band released "Middle Ground," its first new song since 2021.

For some, Levine may be best known for his role on NBC’s hit reality singing competition show, “The Voice,” where he served as a coach for the show’s first 16 seasons, before leaving in 2019. 

For Maroon 5, December’s concert will be its first in Jacksonville in a decade – the band last performed here on April 1, 2013, at VyStar Veterans Memorial Arena, according to Times-Union archives. 

This year, the band has played two stints of shows at its residency at Dolby Live at the Park MGM casino hotel in Las Vegas as well as concerts in Europe. The band will play three concerts in Brazil in September before appearing at Audacy's 10th Annual We Can Survive concert in Newark, N.J., in October.

The 21-year-old singer/songwriter hailing from Southern California was just a kid when he discovered his life's purpose: delivering the kind of electrifying live show that leaves the audience enraptured. After getting his start playing guitar on a cherry-red Strat at the young age of seven. He began playing in a garage band and writing songs as a kid and years later set out on his first U.S. Tour, gaining a fast audience and the attention of pop mogul Scooter Braun who began managing him at age 16.

But when Covid hit and touring ground to a halt, the L.A.-based musician found himself questioning his entire identity as an artist. "I got thrown into the pop world as a kid, and none of the music I was making had my own vision in it," says GUNNAR. The VAILO Adelaide 500 After Race Concert Series is set to open to a bumper post-race crowd, with Crowded House announced as the headline act for Saturday 16 November.

In a first for the event, the Australasian band will take to the stage to perform their hits, igniting music and motorsport fans alike as the event celebrates 25 years.

Selling more than 15 million albums globally, Crowded House have received numerous prestigious accolades across four decades including 13 ARIA Awards.

Fronted by Neil Finn, Crowded House will treat fans to their biggest hits such as ‘Don’t Dream It’s Over’ and ‘Something So Strong’, alongside tracks from albums such as Woodface and Together Alone which paved the way for the band becoming international fan favourites.
