They pick up the phone and say they will send quotation but no response from sales agent.Finally we dropped the idea of going with them

Arrival Delhi

You arrive in Delhi by International flight. After a traditional Welcome our representative would assist you at the airport and to our hotel for check-in. After some rest, breakfast at coffee shop in the Hotel. After breakfast we will go on a guided tour of Delhi at 1100 hrs, beginning with a morning sightseeing trip to Gandhi Memorial at Raj Ghat followed by the drive around India Gate and President's House. In the afternoon visits to Humayun's Tomb, Lotus Temple, Qutub Minar, Mahavir Ahinsa Sthal and Chhatarpur temple. Overnight stay at Hotel.

Delhi - Agra

Today morning we will take you for New Delhi guided tour visits to Humayun's Tomb, Lotus Temple, Qutub Minar, Mahavir Ahinsa Sthal and Chhatarpur temple.Later in the afternoon we leave for Agra via visiting Mathura & Vrindavan, related to the birth and childhood of Lord Krishna. Upon arrival in Agra assistance and check-in hotel. In the evening enjoy the magic show performed by the local magician and overnight stay.

Agra via fatehpur sikri

Agra, the erstwhile capital of India under the great Mughals and known for Taj Mahal, has always fascinate d the Indians as well as foreigners alike. Most of Agra is on the West bank of river Yamuna, with the Agra Fort and the Taj at its nucleus. Taj Mahal is quite simply one of mankind's most remarkable creations. After breakfast you will leave for a half Day sightseeing visiting Taj Mahal built by emperor Shahjahan in memory of his beloved wife Mumtaz Mahal. Next we visit Agra Fort, post lunch we leave for Jaipur via visiting Fatehpur Sikari, a masterpiece in sandstone with the stunning elegance of its palaces and courts. Next we head to Jaipur the flamboyant capital of Rajasthan. On arrival at Jaipur, our representative will meet & assist you to check-in at our hotel for overnight stay.

Early morning after breakfast 11 km drive to Amber, the capital of the gallant Rajputs from 1037 to 1728 AD. We ride the elephant back and reach the Fort situated on the hill and then visit the Fort Palace. Later we visit the City Palace, Birla Temple, Jantar Mantar Observatory and the Palace of Winds. Excursion to Chokhi Dhani: ToDay we will take you for evening excursion to Chokhi Dhani complex, an ethnic village resort located at a distance 15 km from Jaipur. Evenings at Chokhi Dhani are very special. A Rajasthani village atmosphere is recreated on the sprawling ground and includes the entertainment by folk dancers and musicians. The guests can move around freely and enjoy the evening. Later drive back to Hotel for overnight stay.

Jaipur / Delhi

Post breakfast, we drive to National capital New Delhi. Upon arrival assistance and check at our hotel in Delhi. In the evening at 1800 hrs we will go for Sound and Light show, the eventful history Red Fort has been witness to is brought out as a sound and light show every evening on the ramparts of the Red Fort. For those desirous of delving into Delhi's glorious and tumultuous past at the Red Fort. Overnight stay.

Delhi - Amritsar

After breakfast time at leisure. Afternoon, transfer to the railway station to board train for Amritsar. On arrival in Amritsar meet and assist at the airport and transfer to prebooked hotel.

Amritsar / Delhi

After breakfast, visit the Golden temple - the holiest shrine of the Sikh religion, also known as Hari Mandir; Jallianwala Bagh - The park commemorates the 2000 Indians who were killed or wonded at this site, shot indiscriminately by the British in 1919. The story of this massacre is told in the Martyrs' Gallery and a section of wall with bullet marks still visible is preserved, as the well into which some people jumped to escape can be seen; Ram Bagh - a beautiful garden has a museum built by Sikh Maharaja Ranjit Sing and has weapons dating back to Mughal time and some portraits of ruling houses of Punjab. Afternoon , transfer to the railway station to board train for Delhi. On arrival in Delhi, meet and assist at the airport and transfer to the International airport for your onward travel.

Kesari Tours is an Indian online and offline Travel Company based in Mumbai, India that caters to wide range of family group tours, speciality tours, inbound holidays, free individual travel and corporate level. With 500 Office and 400 tours leaders, Kesari Tours Offers travels services including domestic and international holiday packages, hotel reservations, flight tickets, rail and bus tickets etc [2] .

The company has a record of serving for decades & successfully expanding its presence with more than 45 options for Europe, more than 50 options for South East Asia, 150 in India, and more than 70 in the rest of the world, 80 options for unique Speciality tours, thereby making Kesari Tours the largest private tour operator in India [3] .

Kesari Tours was established by Kesari Patil in 1984 at the age of 50. Prior starting up his own film, Kesari Patil was working in his brothers company named Raja Rani. With 21 years of experience as a tour expert, Kesari Patil laid the foundation of Kesari tours in a rented flat in Matunga with a typist and his wife conducting his first tour with a group of 13 people in Rajasthan. With expansion of the business in 1986, his daughter Veena Patil and his son Shailesh Patil joined as directors [4] .

On 29th Foundation Day of the company in 2013, Shailesh Patil became Managing Director of Kesari Tours [5] .

Kesari Tours has its corporate office in Mahim, Mumbai with other regional offices in Ahmedabad, Banglore, Borivali, Delhi, Girgaon, Hyderabad, Indore, Kolhapur, Kolkata, Nagpur, Pune, Nashik, Thane, Vasai and Vashi, along with preferred sales partners across Maharashtra, Delhi, Gujarat, Goa, Kerala, Rajasthan, Karnataka, Madhya Pradesh etc.

Recently the company has launched an app for android users where customers can directly plan and buy the required packages [6] .

MUMBAI: In a landmark order, the Central Consumer Protection Authority (CCPA), a new authority set up under the provisions of the Consumer Protection Act, has directed Kesari Tours Pvt Ltd to refund 461 tourists their entire costs with nine percent interest for the tours that got cancelled due to the Covid-19 pandemic.

The order dated November 28 by CCPA chief commissioner Nidhi Khare also directed the Mumbai-based travel company to refund the 25 percent cancellation charges and forfeiture charges from consumers who paid only the initial advance amount as well as rescheduling charges recovered from consumers. It also asked Kesari to refrain permanently from forcing consumers to undertake future tours to adjust the refund amount. The order gave four weeks to the company to comply. The total amount paid by consumers, many of whom were senior citizens, in 189 bookings works out to ₹ 6.96 crore.

Leading consumer rights protection body Mumbai Grahak Panchayat (MGP) had filed a class action complaint before the Delhi-based CCPA in 2020 against Kesari Tours, seeking directions for a full refund of the money paid towards the cancelled tours. It produced a list of 461 Kesari consumers who were denied a refund.

CCPA is a newly created central authority under the Consumer Protection Act, 2019, which is mandated to protect the interest of consumers as a class and prevent violation of consumer rights and unfair trade practices.

MGP had alleged in its complaint that instead of refunding the cost of cancelled tours, Kesari Tours was forcing consumers to undertake future tours against their wishes and that too after levying cancellation charges and additionally recovering rescheduling charges. MGP contended that these actions of Kesari Tours violated consumer rights and constituted typical unfair trade practices under the Consumer Protection Act.

Kesari Tours initially responded to the CCPA notice and filed its replies. However, when an interim order was passed by CCPA on November 18, 2021, directing the company to refund 75 percent of the tour cost, the company obtained a stay from the Delhi high court. In May 2023, the HC asked the company to go back to CCPA and satisfy the Authority regarding its claim that 80 percent of cases had been settled.

The CCPA listed the case for hearing four times from May 2023 till November 17 and asked Kesari to place the records of the claimed refunds before it. However, the company did not produce the relevant records and wrote to CCPA a day before the November 17 hearing that the Delhi HC had scheduled a hearing on January 10, 2024, and hence it would not participate in further proceedings before the Authority.

Noting that Kesari Tours’ deliberate absence for the hearings constituted defiance of the Authority, the CCPA finally disposed of the MGP complaint by holding that “refusal to give refund to consumers whose tours were cancelled due to Covid Pandemic lockdown amounts to violation of consumer right to get full refund, besides being gross Unfair Trade Practice”. The MGP team of chairman Shirish Deshpande, Dr Archana Sabnis and Adv Pooja Joshi- Deshpande represented the consumers.

When contacted, Zelam Chaubal, director, Kesari Tours Pvt Ltd said, “Kesari Tours and some other travel companies have already challenged the authority of CCPA to pass any such baseless orders in this matter. The matter is pending with the honourable higher court, and we are awaiting further instructions from them.”

In case of any diversion due to landslide/ road block any additional cost incurred with be payable directly by the guest.

Hotels are very strict with the child policy. Please carry the age proof so that it can be produced when asked for.

Safaris at National Park is subject to availability

For extra person, mattress will be provided not bed at all places.

Rooms offered will have one King or two Queen or Twin Beds and strictly subject to availability at the time of check - in.

Room category in all packages is the Base Category.

Vehicle will be given on Point to Point as per itinerary & not on Disposal Basis.

All sightseeing is subject to weather conditions, political conditions in the destination.

Standard Check-in time 12:00hrs – 14:00hrs and Check-out time 10:00hrs – 12:00hrs (Noon) as per the hotel policy.

All guests are requested to carry documents for security purpose & hotel policy. Documents such as (04 passport size photos, original photo ID proof with photo copy (identity card – Voter ID card / Pass-port / Driving License) has in some places PAN Card and Aadhar Card is not acceptable.

All transfer & sightseeing by AC Vehicle (AC will not work during hilly drives)

Distance and transfer time provided on the itinerary are for the reference only. We will not be responsible for any delay due to high traffic, processions, bad weather, interior resort location, etc.

Meals provided at the hotel (Breakfast/Lunch/Dinner) are based on a set menu and are on a buffet system basis. Anything other than the set menu will be charged extra. In room dining will be at an additional cost and has a different menu altogether. For any food related service issue we will not be responsible.

Please note that the given rates are based on securing accommodation at the specified hotels at different destinations. In case of any unavailability issues the hotels of equivalent category will be used. Further add on costs and cost reduction will be advised accordingly. Please note, the names of hotels mentioned only indicate that our rates are based on these hotels and it’s not to be assumed that accommodation is already confirmed at these hotels. In case the same hotels are not available, we will book alternate accommodation at a similar or next best available hotel and shall pass on the difference of rates (supplement/reduction whatever applicable) to you .

It is advise to guests do n’t leave any valuables in the vehicles, guests are responsible for their own belongings. Guests must ensure to collect their belongings while leaving the vehicle.
