What are Taylor Swift's tour dates in Europe?

See a complete list of international dates here .

After she wraps up in Europe, Swift will stop in Miami, New Orleans and Indianapolis before wrapping up in Canada.

See the remaining U.S. dates here .

What is the Eras Tour set list?

The Eras Tour has featured a massive 45-song set list you can check out here . But speculation is swirling it won't look the same when Swift takes the stage in Paris.

Will Taylor Swift add 'The Tortured Poets Department' to her set list?

The tortured poet has been on hiatus keeping her stamina up by releasing a double album of 31 tracks. The 2-hours-and-2-minutes project broke a number of Billboard records as the superstar did zero press to promote it. Fans flocked to stores and streaming services to listen to all the songs from "Fortnight" to "The Manuscript."

Although the singer has not confirmed whether her 11th era album will be added to her Eras Tour set list, she did post a YouTube shorts video with two scenes that sent Easter egg decoders into a frenzy. In one of the shots, the singer is next to a railing where a "TTPD" logo appears to be (at 0:11). In the succeeding shot, her back-up dancers perform holding canes and wearing top hats, something they have not worn previously.

Swift's dancers and bandmates posted to their Instagram stories as they left for France last week. The singer did not appear at two media events with her boyfriend Travis Kelce: the Kentucky Derby and a Formula 1 race in Miami , Florida. Patrick Mahomes, Kelce's friend and Kansas City's quarterback, attended the car racing spectacular with his wife, Brittany.

Can I still get Eras Tour tickets?

Swift's show is completely sold out in Europe and North America. There are resale sites with tickets, but be wary of scams. The best way to avoid getting swindled is continuously checking links on Swift's website . There are some for resale on the sites verified by her camp.

Singapore was a hotbed for fans who traveled thousands of miles only to get turned away at the venue. In Tokyo and Australia, last-minute ticket drops happened a few days — without announcement — ahead of the shows.

Miami, New Orleans and Indianapolis — the three U.S. cities Swift is visiting in the fall — have some of the heftiest price tags with Canada closely behind. In may be cheaper to travel to Warsaw, Poland, or Gelsenkirchen, Germany. Here's a list of cities with the cheapest resale tickets, according to travel website  Islands.com .

10. Vienna, Austria — total average cost: $1,089, safety score: 69.72

9. Cardiff, U.K. — total average cost: $1,061, safety score: 61.83

8. Lyon, France — total average cost: $1,047, safety score: 44.3

Who are the opening acts?

Paramore launched the Eras Tour in Glendale, Arizona, in March 2023, so it's fitting the American rock band is opening the tour's second year. The act will open for Swift for 51 shows across Europe . The band was dubbed the 2024 Record Store Day global ambassador and surprised fans in Nashville the weekend following the release of "The Tortured Poets Department."

When the tour comes back to North America in October , Swift's opening act will be Gracie Abrams.

Where can I watch if I don't have tickets?

The Eras Tour is one of the first tours that has been followed, globally, by thousands of fans on digital platforms. Fans dedicate part of their concert experience to livestreaming as Swift performs. A few Swifties have learned how to host their own shows over social media including Tess Bohne , known as the livestream queen. Bohne goes live for (almost) every show pulling streams from Instagram and TikTok. When a livestream goes down, she fills the time with banter.

On YouTube, user @TaylorSwiftHockeyBro also livestreams the three-hour show, and on Twitch, @folkleric , is a host fans follow.

There is also an app, Swift Alert , that notifies fans who only want to watch certain eras like the acoustic, surprise set. The app sends out push alerts if there are any major announcements.

What secret songs are left?

For the past 83 shows, Swift has played an acoustic set she customizes at each stop with a guitar and piano performance. In 2024, the Eras Tour star added mashups of her songs for each stop. Here are the songs she has yet to perform:

  • "Taylor Swift" (debut album): "Mary's Song" and "A Perfectly Good Heart"
  • "Fearless": "The Way I Loved You," "Change," "Superstar," "We Were Happy," "That's When," "Don't You" and "Bye Bye Baby"
  • "Red": "Girl At Home," "Ronan," "Forever Winter" and "Run"
  • "1989": "Sweeter Than Fiction"
  • "Reputation": "I Did Something Bad"
  • "Lover": "London Boy," "Soon You'll Get Better" and "It's Nice to Have a Friend"
  • "Folklore": "Hoax"
  • "Evermore": "Happiness" and "Closure"
  • "Midnights": "Paris" and "Glitch"
  • "The Tortured Poets Department": all 31 tracks

Will Taylor Swift perform in 2025?

There have been many rumors that Swift will continue her show in 2025, but they are only rumors. Nothing has been announced for next year, and as of now, the tour will end in Vancouver, British Columbia, on Dec. 8.

Taylor Swift performing songs from The Tortured Poets Department during the Eras Tour

Here Are All of Taylor Swift’s Eras Tour European Dates So You Can Follow Along Online

Image of Leah Marilla Thomas

Planning on living vicariously through Taylor Swift’s ongoing stadium tour this summer? Here’s what you need to know about the Eras Tour Europe dates.

I’ll also list the local time at each tour stop in relation to Greenwich Mean Time. (If you’ve never seen that before, the Prime Meridian that determines GMT is located in the Greenwich borough of London, though since it is a dividing line most of London is actually GMT+1, meaning one hour ahead of GMT. In the United States “Eastern Standard Time” is GMT-4, they are four hours behind GMT, and “Pacific Standard Time” is GMT-8, eight hours behind. Why am I explaining all of this? We’re supposed to be talking about Taylor Swift.)

If you’re not in the mood for math, you can also click the times below to be taken to a “what time is it in ___” Google result for your convenience. That way, you’ll know exactly when to tune into social media for the latest acoustic set/secret songs and other Eras updates.

The European era of the Eras tour opened in Paris, and as fans across the world discovered in horror shock it’s a totally different show this summer. We knew that The Tortured Poets Department would mix things up, but things are majorly different. What else is in store? Well, Taylor’s famous for her Fourth of July parties, and this year she’ll be in a party city. But not, like, a Party City. You get it. There are Olympic stadiums, old cities galore, and an extended stay in Germany. Oh, and the opener for the entire European leg of the 2024 tour, by the way, is Paramore. What a treat!

Paris, France – May 9-12

Venue : Paris La Defense Arena Local Time: GMT+2

Stockholm, Sweden – May 17-19

Venue: Friends Arena Local Time: GMT+2

Lisbon, Portugal – May 24-25

Venue: Estádio da Luz Local Time: GMT+1

Madrid, Spain – May 29-30

Venue: Estadio Santiago Bernabéu Local Time: GMT+2

Lyon, France – June 2-3

Venue: Groupama Stadium Local Time: GMT+2

Edinburgh, Scotland – June 8-9

Venue: Groupama Stadium Local Time: GMT+1

Liverpool, England – June 13-15

Venue: Anfield Local Time: GMT+1

Cardiff, Wales – June 18

Venue: Principality Stadium Local Time: GMT+1

London, England – June 21-23

Venue: Wembley Stadium Local Time: GMT+1

Dublin, Ireland – June 28-30

Venue: Aviva Stadium Local Time: GMT+1

Amsterdam, Netherlands – July 4-6

Venue: Johan Cruijff Arena Local Time: GMT+2

Zurich, Switzerland – July 9-10

Venue: Letzigrund Stadion Local Time: GMT+2

Milan, Italy – July 13-14

Venue: San Siro Local Time: GMT+2

Gelsenkirchen, Germany – July 17-19

Venue: Veltins Arena Local Time: GMT+2

Hamburg, Germany – July 23-24

Venue: Volksparkstadion Local Time: GMT+2

Munich, Germany – July 27-28

Venue: Olympiastadion München Local Time: GMT+2

Warsaw, Poland – August 1-3

Venue: PGE Narodowy – National Stadium Local Time: GMT+2

Vienna, Austria – August 8-10

Venue: Ernst Happel Stadion Local Time: GMT+2

London, England – August 15-20

So she didn’t really say “so long, London” (couldn’t resist) in June because she’s back in August for an even longer stay! Hey, “August” is another song title! And thus ends the Eras Tour’s not-so-cruel summer in Europe!

How to get tickets to international shows on Taylor Swift’s 'Eras Tour'

The “Shake It Off” singer’s fan base infamously crashed Ticketmaster when they overcrowded the system while trying to buy tickets when they went live on Nov. 15, 2022. Since then, the platform has employed a new ticket purchasing process that has kept crashes at bay — so far.

The new purchasing multistep process first requires preregistration in order to be eligible for presales and regular sales. However, presales and registration are closed for all current international tour dates.

Fans who are interested in attending an international show can try purchasing tickets on reseller sites such as StubHub and SeatGeek.

Taylor Swift Taps Paramore for European Eras Tour Run

Taylor Swift knows we need more — so she’s giving us just that. The singer has added 14 more shows to the European/U.K. leg of her Eras Tour , and announced that Paramore will provide support throughout the trek.

“Really can’t contain my excitement because… we’re adding 14 new shows to The Eras Tour,” Swift wrote on Twitter Wednesday, July 5. “And I get to travel the world doing shows with @paramore !! Hayley and I have been friends since we were teens in Nashville and now we get to frolic around the UK/Europe next summer??? I’m screaming???”

Last month, Swift added dozens of shows to her Taylor Swift: The Eras stadium tour — bringing the total count of shows to a whooping 104 nights . She also extended her run at Los Angeles’ So-Fi Stadium with a sixth show scheduled for Aug. 7.

The new addition comes after the singer announced shows in Japan, Australia, Singapore, and Europe earlier this week. (See below for the full tour dates.)

“EXCUSE ME HI I HAVE SOMETHING TO SAY 🙋‍♀️,” she wrote on Instagram. “I can’t wait to see so many of you on The Eras Tour next year at these new international dates!”

She also added more dates to her already-announced Latin America tour. After wrapping her U.S. dates in Los Angeles on Aug. 9, Swift will head to Mexico City for four straight shows at Foro Sol starting Aug. 24. She’ll then stop in Buenos Aires, Argentina, and both Rio de Janeiro and São Paulo in Brazil in November.

Swift first announced the tour last October after she completely took over the Billboard Hot 100 top 10 with Midnights . The added dates, which follow the addition of eight new shows last week, were slotted in “due to unprecedented demand,” according to the singer’s camp.

“Good Morning America, it’s Taylor,” Swift said during the announcement. “I wanted to tell you something that I’ve been so excited about for a really long time and I’ve been planning for ages, and I finally get to tell you I’m going back on tour. The tour is called the ‘Eras’ tour, and it’s a journey through all of my musical eras of my career.”

Cyndi Lauper Announces 'Girls Just Wanna Have Fun' Farewell Tour

Selena gomez says she's unsure if she'll tour again: it's 'emotionally draining', charly bliss will hit the road but not before 'calling you out'.

Across the tour, Swift is being supported in select cities by a combination of special guests including Paramore, beabadoobee, Phoebe Bridgers, girl in red, MUNA, HAIM, GAYLE, Gracie Abrams, and OWENN.

The Eras tour follows the cancelation of her planned 2020 Lover Fest tour, which was originally going to see her make stadium stops in Los Angeles, Boston, and New York, along with Brazil, Denmark, Norway, and Poland. “This is an unprecedented pandemic that has changed everyone’s plans and no one knows what the touring landscape is going to look like in the near future,” she wrote in 2021.

Swift last went the road in 2018 for her massive Reputation Stadium Tour , which saw Swift accompanied by the likes of Charli XCX and Camila Cabello across the United States, the United Kingdom, along with Australia, New Zealand, and Japan. The tour was the highest-grossing music tour by a female artist that year.

Since her last tour, Swift has released four albums and two re-releases: Lover , Folklore , Evermore , Midnights , and Taylor’s Version editions of Fearless and Red with additional songs. In total, she’s dropped 90 tracks of new material, not including collaborations with the likes of Haim and Big Red Machine.

Fans have long wondered what music she’ll be performing on the road, with some theorizing that she’d host a residency in Las Vegas or a music festival where she’d perform different “eras” on different nights.

Along with packing her setlist with songs from Reputation in 2018, she surprised each city with an acoustic rendition of fan favorites like “Red,” “Holy Ground,” and “Wildest Dreams.” At select shows, she also brought out special guests. Shawn Mendes, Selena Gomez, Hayley Kiyoko, and Maren Morris were among the artists to be brought out by Swift.

She previously took her 1989 album on the road for 85 dates, where she was accompanied by the likes of Mendes, James Bay, Vance Joy, and Haim. Before then was The Red Tour in 2013 and 2014, and her Speak Now World Tour from 2011 to 2012.

Taylor Swift and Hayley Williams eras tour paramore europe opening act

European Taylor Swift fans won’t have to look closely at the fine print on a grid to figure out who will be opening for her on which nights on the “ Eras Tour ” next year, as American fans did this year. Swift revealed Wednesday that Paramore will be preceding her on stage for her entire European tour.

Additionally, she announced that 14 shows have been added to the lineup, all representing second, third, fourth or even sixth nights in cities that were already on the itinerary for May through August of 2024.

While it’s now known that Paramore will provide direct support for Swift’s entire run in Europe, that still leaves open the question of whether there will be a third artist on the bill in all those venues and, if so, who.

Sabrina Carpenter was recently announced as the opening act for Swift’s shows in Melbourne, Sydney and Singapore, which take place Feb. 16 through March 9 of 2024. Carpenter will also be opening for Swift’s Latin American shows in late August through late November of this year.

Swift’s U.S. tour is far from done, not wrapping up till an Aug. 9 finale at the L.A. area’s SoFi Stadium. Abrams, Haim, Gayle, Muna and Owenn are among the opening acts in the coming U.S. dates.

Swift’s new album, “Speak Now (Taylor’s Version),” comes out Thursday night.

Taylor Swift announces new Eras Tour dates in Europe, Australia and Asia

By C Mandler

June 20, 2023 / 6:55 PM EDT / CBS News

Pop superstar Taylor Swift  on Tuesday announced new concert dates in Asia, Australia and Europe for her Eras Tour , extending her performances through summer 2024.

While Swift's tour was originally just over 50 dates, it has now expanded to more than 100, according to Forbes , with the international leg of the Eras Tour kicking off in August this year in Mexico City — after which Swift will hang up her guitar until November before resuming her stadium shows.

EXCUSE ME HI I HAVE SOMETHING TO SAY 🙋‍♀️ I can’t wait to see so many of you on The Eras Tour next year at these new international dates! Visit https://t.co/EYBevxhQzH for more information on your registrations, pre-sales and on-sales!! pic.twitter.com/G8zx8QUUAV — Taylor Swift (@taylorswift13) June 20, 2023

Swift's Asia shows will begin next year with four nights in Japan's Tokyo Dome, starting on Feb. 7. Then she'll visit Melbourne and Sydney, Australia, as well as Singapore, before embarking on the tour's European leg in May with two shows in Paris. Unless Swift adds even more dates, she'll close out the Eras Tour at Wembley Stadium in London on August 17, 2024.

The Eras Tour got off to a slightly rocky start when pre-sales for tickets resulted in a lawsuit against Ticketmaster from furious fans , who alleged that the company violated antitrust laws that are designed to protect market competition.

The suit claims that Ticketmaster knowingly sent out pre-sale codes to more fans than it could accommodate. As a result, millions of fans were denied the opportunity to purchase tickets .

But with Swift playing to sold-out crowds either way, the tour is poised to make her a billionaire  and could end up being one of the highest-grossing tours of all time. According to  Forbes , the Eras Tour might earn Swift a cool $500 million on top of her existing estimated net worth of around $570 million.

Some cities are even seeing economic boosts in their local economies as a result of Swift's tour dates, with CBS Philadelphia reporting spikes in visitor center ticket sales and hotel reservations in Philly.

Swift's Pittsburgh shows from last weekend set a new record for the venue — her tour's second show in the city recorded an attendance of 73,117 at the Acrisure Stadium.

North American Swifties are traveling internationally for their best chance at seeing Taylor Swift’s 2024 “Eras Tour” as the singer makes her way through Europe.

Swift kicked off the European leg of her tour — after a two-month break and a new album release — on May 9 in Paris, France. The singer performed for four nights at the Paris La Défense Arena and continued her tour through Sweden, Portugal and Spain.

What’s the setlist for the ‘Eras Tour’?

With the release of Taylor Swift’s new album, “The Tortured Poets Department” (you can order it here ), the singer has mixed up her setlist from her previous North American dates. The 45-song setlist now includes songs from “Lover,” “Fearless,” “Red,” “Speak Now,” “Reputation,” “Folklore,” “Evermore,” “1989,″ “The Tortured Poets Department” and “Midnights,” in that order.

Taylor Swift's Eras Tour has been extended multiple times with new international dates.

Taylor Just Extended Her Eras Tour Again With 2 New Dates

Get those tickets, Swifties!!

Swfities, this is not a drill: Taylor Swift has extended her Eras Tour again . After recently adding an additional show at Los Angeles’ SoFi Stadium, along with a ton of international dates across Europe, Asia, and Australia, the Midnights singer has tagged on even more shows. This was already the singer’s largest tour to date, and it keeps on getting bigger and bigger. With so many stops, this is the opportunity for Swifties everywhere to live out their Eras dreams.

On Aug. 3, Swift announced a mini-U.S. and Canada leg of her tour on Instagram. Specifically, between mid-October and November 2024, the singer will visit cities in Florida, Louisiana, Indiana, and Ontario across 15 dates. “Turns out it’s NOT the end of an era,” she wrote in the post. She also shared that Gracie Abrams, who served as an opener for the tour this summer, will return for these dates.

But it didn’t end there. On Nov. 2, Swift’s team revealed an additional three dates in Vancouver on Dec. 6, 7, and 8. And just a few days later, Swift added two more dates in London on Aug. 19 and 20. These final dates mean the Eras Tour will run until nearly the end of 2024.

Taylor Swift's Eras Tour has been extended multiple times with new international dates.

These exciting additions follow another round of new dates. On June 27, Swift announced she included a new show at Los Angeles’ SoFi Stadium. This addition (which fell on Aug. 7) extended her once five-night stay at the iconic venue to six. She then added eight more dates for the European leg of the tour, lengthening her appearance in cities such as Warsaw, Munich, London, Vienna, Hamburg, Paris, Stockholm, and Zurich in 2024.

Just a few days later, Swift announced another 14 new dates for the European Eras Tour, extending her weekends in major cities like Paris, London, Dublin, and more to include an extra concert. She also revealed Paramore would be the opening act for these new dates.

Before that, she announced her international roster of Eras show. “EXCUSE ME HI I HAVE SOMETHING TO SAY. I can’t wait to see so many of you on The Eras Tour next year at these new international dates!” Swift wrote on Instagram . These new dates will see Swift and new opener, Sabrina Carpenter , trekking through cities such as Tokyo, Melbourne, Paris, and Milan from February to August 2024. As seen in the multi-colored tour poster, this six-month excursion will follow the end of her Latin American leg of the tour, which stars Sabrina Carpenter as the opener. Clearly, Swift’s booked and busy.

Swift first announced her Eras Tour on Good Morning America in November 2022. There, she shared the gig would include music from her entire 10-album discography, including her record-breaking Midnights project.

“I wanted to tell you something that I’ve been so excited about for a really long time. I’ve been planning for ages and I finally get to tell you. I’m going back on tour,” Swift said on Good Morning America last year. “The tour is called The Eras Tour, and it’s a journey through all of my musical eras of my career.”

Since then, the singer has performed hidden and popular gems from all her eras, and released her re-recorded versions of Speak Now on July 7 and 1989 on Oct. 27.

Getting Tickets To The Eras Tour

It seems Ticketmaster had the tour’s original ticketing fiasco in mind when creating a purchasing process for the new dates. According to Today , the site — which fell in hot water after Swifties infamously crashed their site when trying to buy tickets — adopted a new process that requires fans to pre-register for the tour’s pre- and general sales.

Registration is currently open for the three newest concert dates. Fans can access the registration for selected dates on Ticketmaster or Swift’s official website . This added step reportedly signs fans up to receive additional information about their selected tour date and location.

The Eras Tour-Ism Is Taking Taylor Swift Fans To Europe

The case for making concerts the new city break centerpiece.

STOCKHOLM, SWEDEN - MAY 17: EDITORIAL USE ONLY. NO BOOK COVERS Taylor Swift performs at Friends Aren...

When I landed in Stockholm on Wednesday May 15, 2024, it quickly became clear that this was not a regular day in the Swedish capital. I had barely passed customs when the demographic of tourists shifted from suited business travelers to quietly excited twenty-somethings. On the car ride to my hotel, one artist dominated the airwaves. Over the next couple of days, I would encounter countless bejeweled outfits, glittery cowboy boots, and arm-fulls of friendship bracelets. Conversations of “Taylor” drifted around every other corner.

That Friday night, Taylor Swift would perform the first of her three Eras Tour shows at the city’s Friends Arena. Of the weekend’s 150,000 concert-goers, an estimated 120,000 were expected to be traveling in from outside of Stockholm. I was among them, arriving in the city to experience a Marriott Bonvoy Moment , which included a three night stay at the Nobis Hotel Stockholm and premium tickets to see Taylor’s first ever performance in the city.

The tourism boom propelling me and other new arrivals isn’t exclusive to Sweden — according to data shared by United Airlines with Thrillist , Milan and Munich have seen a 40% increase in air travel bookings from the U.S. around each city’s Eras Tour stops. Lisbon, Madrid, and Edinburgh have seen a 25% increase. In short, Swifties are taking their fandom international.

Concert goers dressed as different Taylor Swift eras arrive for the Stockholm show

All this travel begs the question: why fly longhaul and deal with jet lag when you could see the show locally? I spoke to three Swifties to find out why.

The Swiftie Catching Up With Her BFF

On night one of the Stockholm Eras Tour I meet Katherine, 25, who has flown in from New York for a seven night stay in the city. This is her second Eras Tour date (the first was in Pittsburgh, Pennsylvania) and third time seeing Taylor. A life-long Swiftie — “I still remember how excited I was when my dad got me [Taylor’s debut album] from the library,” she says — Katherine is armed with friendship bracelets and surrounded by fellow fans when I stop to say hi.

“As silly as it may sound to some people, the Eras Tour kind of became the excuse to come [to Sweden]”, she says. Katherine’s close friend lives in the country and the concert facilitated a long overdue reunion. “When we had the tickets all excuses for [not visiting] were gone. I could come hang out with my friend, see some of her country and that’s what started mattering way more.” Post-concert, Katherine visited museums and did some general sightseeing, as well as being shown around all of her friend’s favorite spots. “I got to check just about everything off my list that I wanted to do which was incredible!”

The Swiftie Who Found A Stubhub Bargain

Eras Tour-ism took Anna, 39, to her first ever Taylor show. Despite having been a fan since 2008 — she cites “Love Story” and “You Belong With Me” as the tracks that made her a certified Swiftie — Anna didn’t get to see Taylor live until The Eras Tour in Paris this year.

“I went for the first time on May 9, 2024 and for the second time on May 10, 2024. The second night was [a] total impulse,” she says, having been able to find tickets for a little over $200 on Stubhub on the morning of the show. With resale tickets for Swift’s California dates the previous year going for anywhere between $800 and $11,000 , snagging good seats for close to face value can feel too good to be true. In total, Anna spent five nights in Paris (two with Taylor) and was able to catch up with an old friend from college, visit museums and historical sights, and see the Moulin Rouge.

The Swiftie In Her Solo Travel Era

Hayley, 34, is a more recent convert to the Book Of Swift and was able to catch The Eras Tour in her hometown of Chicago last summer. “I left that concert fully believing it was a once-in-a-lifetime opportunity to see her live at the peak of her career,” she says, “I never anticipated being able to see the show again, especially because it was so expensive.” When the opportunity arose to see Swift for a second time in Lyon, France, Hayley jumped at it. “I still can't believe that I got a presale code,” she says, “I bought two VIP floor seats for the Lyon show and all in the total cost was less than one [resale price] ticket to the Chicago show.”

Like Anna and Katherine, Hayley has made plans around the concert to get the most out of her time abroad. She’ll start her trip by flying into Copenhagen, Denmark, and spending three days in the city solo — her plans include yoga classes, good food, and living like a local — before meeting up with a friend in Lyon for The Eras Tour. “I love the experience of attending concerts,” she says, “and being able to do so while on a trip abroad is an added bonus.”

Hayley Schueneman and her friend attend The Eras Tour in Chicago in 2023.

So... Is The Travel Worth It?

A thousand times yes! The Eras Tour made the perfect centerpiece to a jam-packed four days in Sweden – seeing “Cruel Summer” live will not be forgotten quickly, and being among the first to see The Tortured Poets Department performed is a story I’ll tell for years. It’s true, I could barely keep my eyes open on the flight home, but more than anything I was giddy with highlights to share.

Taking a walking tour of Stockholm’s historical buildings was the ideal way to get geographically acquainted, while shopping at Acne Studios Archive and roaming through the trendy Södermalm thrift stores (think Brooklyn, but Scandinavian) showed me the fashion-forward side of the capital. We squeezed in exceptional meals – the Michellin-starred Restaurang Oxenstiernan and Operakällaren – and enjoyed a late night snack and post-concert debrief at Max , the country’s most well-known fast food joint, while some essential TikTok research directed me to Stora Bageriet (baked goods) and StikkiNikki (homemade gelato) for sweet treats.

Thanks to a strategic itinerary and the uncharacteristically warm weather, I saw more of Stockholm than I was ever expecting. The best part? It was all on top of the primary reason we were in the city to begin with.

If a Swift-inspired city break is on your 2024 bingo card, Amsterdam, Milan, Munich, and Hamburg are among the many European cities with hundreds of tickets still available via resale sites like Stubhub . The closer the date, the lower the price: tickets for the Madrid show on May 29, 2024 are currently available for around €85, plus additional Marriott Bonvoy Moments and Eras Tour sweepstakes are set to launch throughout June and August.

NEWS... BUT NOT AS YOU KNOW IT

Capital causes chaos with huge Taylor Swift announcement

Taylor Swift performs at The Eras Tour in Lyon, France

Taylor Swift is about to (finally) bring her epic Eras Tour to the UK and one of the biggest radio stations has made an unprecedented announcement.

Posting a picture of the Long Story Short singer to their socials, Capital FM baffled fans who thought she was being announced as a Summertime Ball headliner.

The prospect was a little unbelievable as after her upcoming Edinburgh gigs , Taylor is heading to Liverpool where she will perform the day before the festival.

Summertime Ball’s actual date (Sunday, June 16) is currently empty for the 34-year-old workaholic so not utterly impossible.

However, startled Swifties quickly realised she would not be joining Sabrina Carpenter for the gig – instead Capital has launched a 24-hour, 7-day-a-week, pop-up station, dedicated to Taylor.

Capital (Taylor’s Version) is the first time a UK DAB radio station has been dedicated to just one artist.

‘Once upon a time, the planets and the fates and the stars aligned… and ✨Capital (Taylor’s Version)✨ was born 🤩,’ wrote the station on X.

‘@taylorswift13 | The Eras Tour is coming to the UK, and to celebrate we’re playing Taylor’s biggest tracks 24/7 on our dedicated Swift music station!’

Confused fan Rubes replied: ‘I thought they were announcing her as a STB headliner then I panicked😭.’

‘I s**t myself because I thought she was announced as a headliner for the capital summertime ball 😭,’ added Em.

On Capital’s Instagram, Charlene added: ‘I genuinely thought she was gonna be announced for the Ball 😭😭 oh well of go listen to the station instead 😂.’

https://www.instagram.com/p/C7vsclXiCZO/?hl=en

Many said the stunt better hint that she is a surprise guest for the show, which will see Raye, Perrie Edwards, Becky Hill, Aitch, and The Sugababes perform.

There is a catch to the radio station though as fans won’t be hearing Getaway Car or Tim McGraw as it is re-recorded albums only.

Reputation and Taylor Swift – also known as Debut – are yet to be released as a Taylor’s Version album so they will be omitted from the playlist.

Some fans have clocked some non-Taylor’s Versions playing in the mix though so maybe Picture To Burn (original version) might slip through the cracks.

However, with over 250 songs to choose from repeats are bound to be few and far between, although we doubt die-hard Swifties will care anyway.

Taylor Swift performs on stage during The Eras Tour

Fearless, Speak Now , Red , 1989 , Lover, folklore, evermore, Midnights and the Tortured Poets Department are all mixed in for this ultimate playlist.

Of course, no station would be complete without some talking segments and fans will be treated to fun facts and news updates dotted in throughout.

Capital will also be speaking to swifties before and after her shows in Edinburgh, Liverpool, Cardiff, and London, for a feel of the Eras Tour as it happens.

Brent Tobin, Managing Editor of Capital, said: ‘We were so excited to create this pop-up radio station to celebrate Taylor Swift. It’s set to be a fan favourite, with not only the greatest songs but top trivia and tour news.

‘We’ll be on air until it’s So Long, London and we hope all the Swifties join us for the ultimate tour celebration!’

Taylor Swift performs Reputation at The Eras Tour in Lyon, France

Taylor will hit the stage at the Murrayfield Stadium in Edinburgh on Friday, June 7 for her first UK gig since 2018’s Reputation tour.

This is actually the first time since 2015 that the 34-year-old icon will be headed to Scotland, having performed her 1989 tour to 11,000 people in Glasgow.

Now, she’s sold out the 67,000-capacity arena three times over as one of the biggest artists on the planet, breaking records consistently.

However, not everyone is celebrating her arrival in the Scottish city as homeless people who are usually offered hotel rooms to stay in are being sent elsewhere .

Edinburgh council gives temporary accommodation to rough sleepers but the city is so jam-packed with Swifties travelling in there is simply nowhere left.

Taylor Swift performs onstage during night four of The Eras Tour at La Defense in Paris, France

They have reportedly been offered places in Aberdeen and Glasgow or as far as Newcastle to stay instead.

In a statement, housing, homelessness and fair work convener, Councillor Jane Meagher, said: ‘It is a symptom of the housing emergency we face in Edinburgh that at times we must use tourist accommodation to house homeless households.

‘We know it won’t be available year-round, particularly over the busy summer months, so we use it reluctantly as a last resort. We’re aware of the situation and are working with the affected households to find appropriate, alternative accommodation.’

Listen to Capital (Taylor’s Version) now on Global Player.

While Taylor Swift may not be coming to New Jersey anytime soon, it is still very possible to see her live.

Right now, Swift is traveling internationally to bring the “Eras Tour” all over Europe and the U.K., and surprisingly, many of the tickets are incredibly affordable and significantly cheaper than seeing her in the U.S.

If flying to another country at the last minute is out of the picture for you, which would be for many, we did the math and figured out where her cheapest show is in the States in 2024. To keep it budget-friendly, you can road trip to New Orleans at the end of October instead!

The New Orleans, La. show on Oct. 26 is currently Swift’s cheapest stateside show on StuHub , at around $1,665 a ticket. Or, if you don’t want to drive, you can also book a roundtrip flight arriving the day before the concert and departing the day after the show for around $314. Hotels around 30 to 45 minutes from the venue are between $120 to $150 a night, while hotels closer (and walking distance) are between $500 to $800 a night. The

Real Madrid's stadium: Taylor Swift, shrewd Florentino Perez, Kylian Mbappe move and eyeing more UCL glory

There's no bigger club in the world than real madrid, and nobody has been doing business better than florentino perez and company at the santiago bernabeu.

rm-24.jpg

If events proceed as expected at Wembley on Saturday, then Real Madrid will be champions of Europe for the 15th time, a second Champions League title lifted in three years. The promise of more to come is apparent in Carlo Ancelotti's vibrant young team.

And yet for many in the Spanish capital this week is all about the eras of Red, Speak Now and Evermore rather than Jude Bellingham and Vinicius Junior. An estimated 120,000 fans will flock the Santiago Bernabeu this week to see Taylor Swift, the biggest football club in the world playing host to the most lucrative concert tour in history. It is the sort of union that Madrid hope will never go out of style.

On Wednesday and Thursday, the cash registers of the newly refurbished ground will ring out over a three-and-a-half-hour show as Swifties stock up on merch, drinks and snacks. Analysis by Barclays said that a quarter of fans would be travelling to a different city to see the world's biggest pop star, one in five traveling across country. The average concertgoer on the U.S. leg of the Eras Tour was said to have spent over $1,300 on a night from their wildest dreams. When fans do the same in Madrid, experts estimate that around $4 million could be earned by the hosts, although in this particular case, not all that money would go to the club.

This had been Florentino Perez's vision all along when, in 2010, he announced plans to renovate Madrid's home of the past 63 years. Nine years later when work began he was promising  "a great avant-garde and universal icon." The Santiago Bernabeu would be "a modern stadium, with maximum comfort and safety, with state-of-the-art technology, where fans can experience unique sensations and also be a new and important source of income for the club."

That last line was critical. A ground that had packed in nearly 130,000 in the 1950s would clip its capacity down to 80,000 but there would be more room for VIP bars, restaurants and premium seats. A stadium used infrequently for football matches -- even when Madrid were making deep Champions League runs -- is now playing host to its first international concerts in a decade. Swift's two-night stand will be followed by eight more shows this summer, including Karol G's first four nights in Spain since her emergence as one of the biggest artists in the world. Next year, Spain's first regular season NFL game will take place at the Santiago Bernabeu, an even greater coup for Los Merengues given that they beat local rivals Atletico Madrid to the prize.

Not bad for a club that is already rated the most valuable brand in world football, whose 2023 revenue leaped by 16 percent, topping $900 million to make them the richest in the sport. All without feeling the full financial force of the new Bernabeu.

"We're not even seeing the full impact of the stadium on the balance sheet yet," said Chris Wood, assistant director in Deloitte's Sports Business Group. "These clubs are now looking at their stadia as assets they can use year-round, not just on those home matchdays: getting people in to drive F1 cars, see concerts, visit museums, all these things that turn your stadium into more than just a football ground, more of a year-round attraction."

The money generated by the Bernabeu will have to be shared. A $380 million deal with Sixth Street and Legends in 2022 gave the latter company the right to host events at the ground and saw the two parties gain 30 percent of new profits (excluding season ticket sales) at the ground for 20 years. If this has something of the look of the sort of levers Barcelona were pulling two summers ago, it is worth noting that a greater proportion of the cash injection that came Real Madrid's way was used for infrastructure. A 21st-century stadium is a far better long-term revenue driver than Robert Lewandowski.

Unlike their great rivals, Madrid came out of the COVID-19 woods relatively unscathed. They had gotten out of the Cristiano Ronaldo business at an opportune moment and for many years a squad of serial European champions only required investment on the fringes. Rebalancing a squad around Vinicius and Rodrygo, among other young talents, required significant fees but altogether lower wages. Even as more and more young talent has been snapped up, Perez has kept a close eye on the purse strings. According to analysis by Swiss Ramble, Madrid's 49 percent wages-to-turnover ratio is the best in La Liga. They ought to have no issue acing UEFA's squad cost regime.

For all the intriguing questions about where Kylian Mbappe might fit into Madrid on the pitch, the answer on the balance sheet is altogether more straightforward. Quite snuggly. Sources view it as unlikely that the club will feel compelled to make a big sale this summer to tidy up the books though the cases of Casemiro and Raphael Varane serve as a reminder that there is always a cold-eyed clarity at the Bernabeu. If someone wants to offer silly money for high-earning veterans then Madrid heads will rule over their hearts.

Their homegrown assets are dealt with in a similarly robust way. Only one player who might reasonably be termed homegrown has netted Barcelona over $30 million, Cesc Fabregas when he went to Chelsea in 2014, three years after his boyhood club had paid a similar fee to bring him home from Arsenal. Madrid, meanwhile, continue to drive big money either from academy graduates such as Achraf Hakimi, Marcos Llorente and Sergio Reguilon or for players they picked up in their formative years and moved on for big money: Martin Odegaard and Varane being two of the most notable.

Perez learned lessons from the profligacy of his first Galactico era when the super team that culminated with David Beckham's arrival in 2003 barely got to know each other before they passed into post-prime. When big money has been spent it has been on players whose prime years are ahead of them. Committing the best part of $150 million to Bellingham seems rather shrewd if year one of what might be a decade's reign at the summit of world football is anything to go by.

Madrid exploit the lure they hold perhaps better than anyone else. This summer Bayern Munich will be over a barrel, a situation they know all too well from four years ago with David Alaba. Do they sell Alphonso Davies to the Spanish champions for whatever they can get or hold on for the final year of his contract, hoping to get an extension but running the risk of losing him to Madrid for nothing? Outside the Premier League, even clubs that once saw themselves as near equals to the 14-time European champions seem incapable of much resistance.

Swift and Madrid, then, might be a perfect match for each other. They have moved with the times more adeptly than many contemporaries who could not quite make success stick. Both exist at a level of renown and commercial muscle as to unmoor them from the industry that they are figureheads for. And given their sheer revenue-generating power only appears to be growing, it is hard to shake the sense that their imperial era has only just begun.

Blake Lively and Haim Attend Friend Taylor Swift's First Madrid Eras Tour Show

Swift will be performing two shows at Santiago Bernabéu Stadium

Taylor Swift  had some of her closest friends cheering her on at her latest tour stop!

On Wednesday, May 29,  Blake Lively  and the  Haim  sisters were in the crowd at Santiago Bernabéu Stadium to watch the pop superstar, 34, perform  her first of two shows in Madrid .

Multiple concertgoers raved about seeing Swift's celebrity friends in attendance. One user on X, formerly Twitter,  shared a video  of Este,  Danielle , and  Alana  Haim dancing next to Lively. 36. Other users shared  photos of the Haim sisters  and  Lively in the audience .

Lively's husband,  Ryan Reynolds ,  previously said he planned to attend Swift's concert in Madrid  during an appearance on  Today with Hoda and Jenna  earlier this month.

Reynolds, 47, said Lively and their children have already been to "five or six" Eras Tour shows. “They love it, they’re obsessed," he said on Today .

Lively and Reynolds are parents to James, 9, Inez, 7, Betty, 4, and a  fourth baby  (whose name has not been revealed).

Apart from attending the 2024 Super Bowl together — where Swift cheered on her boyfriend Travis Kelce — Lively previously shouted her out in a sweet Instagram post in December 2023.

Next to photos of her, Swift and Beyoncé  at the premiere of  Renaissance: A Film by Beyoncé , Lively wrote, "When I grew up, women were always pit against one another. It took me until adulthood to see that the instinct for women to lift each other up to their highest potential is the norm not the exception."

"Most of my best friends are women who would’ve been packaged to me as threats or competition," her caption continued. "It’s our job to show younger generations the power in aligning rather than dividing. All this to say, @beyonce and @taylorswift neither of you have to be threatened by my pop stardom. There’s space for us all. Renaissance: A Film by Beyoncé. In theaters now …And even better than you can imagine. ✨👽✨."

The "Summer Girl" band also worked with Swift in 2020 on "No Body No Crime."

“She has always put her friends before herself in every situation,” Alana, 31, told PEOPLE of Swift in December 2023. “She’s the kind of friend that checks up on us for weeks after a tough breakup and is a shoulder to lean on."

How much money does Taylor Swift earn for each concert at the Santiago Bernabéu? What about the entire tour?

The name of Taylor Swift is on everyone’s lips. The hugely popular artist has already brought the Spanish capital of Madrid to a standstill with two concerts at the Santiago Bernabéu, the newly-renovated home of Real Madrid FC. A double performance that forms part of one of the most media-centred tours in the music industry. The Eras Tour began on 17 March 2023 at the State Farm Stadium in Glendale, Arizona , and, all things going well, is set to end on 8 December in Vancouver.

Taylor Swift: concerts, fans, merchandise, money

This national and international tour has a total of 152 concerts, although the announcement of a new date is not ruled out. What is known is what she will pocket for each planned concert.

According to Billboard , the artist has earned between 11 and 13 million dollars for each of the dates belonging to The Eras Tour. The main source of this income is box office receipts, with a price of about 150 euros per ticket on average for those in Madrid (that’s $162) . According to calculations, and estimating an approximate capacity of 65,000 people per show, it would raise over $10 million. An amount from which the percentage agreed between the parties would have to be subtracted and to which an agreed sum for the sale of merchandising would have to be added.

In total, Taylor Swift’s tour is estimated to earn $1,672,000,000 by the time she steps off the stage of her last concert. And this is not all: more than $400 million should be raised for products related to The Eras Tour alone.

The singer is also set to break a new record, becoming the highest-grossing female artist in concert history by surpassing Madonna, who earned over $400 million with her Sticky & Sweet Tour in 2008 and 2009. This massive financial success will further boost her net worth, which currently stands at around $1 billion, according to Bloomberg.

The Eras Tour concerts

The Eras Tour has just the two current stops in Spain, both at the Santiago Bernabéu, as she returns 13 years after her last appearance in Spain. That one did not sell out. The European leg of the tour began in Paris, with four dates (from May 9 to 12) and there are five concerts in London (from August 15 to 20).

Other stops on the tour include Stockholm (May 17, 18, and 19), Lisbon (May 24 and 25), Lyon (June 2 and 3), Edinburgh (June 7, 8, and 9), Liverpool (June 13, 14, and 15), Cardiff (June 18), London (June 21, 22, and 23), Dublin (June 28, 29, and 30), Amsterdam (July 5 and 6), Zurich (July 9 and 10), Milan (July 13 and 14), Germany (July 17 and 18 in Gelsenkirchen, July 23 and 24 in Hamburg, and July 27 and 28 in Munich), Warsaw (August 1, 2, and 3), and Vienna (August 8, 9, and 10).

The tour, which has already visited Asia and Oceania, will return to America on October 18 with a concert at the Hard Rock Stadium in Miami. Tickets are available on Ticketmaster and other websites, although the high demand has led to an increase in purchases on resale or second-hand platforms. Taylor’s a money-making machine with class.

The Eras Tour is proving a massive success around the globe with over 150 concerts wowing fans and rolling in the millions.
