The mission of the Emerald Coast Junior Golf Tour is to enable junior golfers to gain local tournament playing experience and allow them to become the best golfers they can be while competing for points and exemptions for larger tournaments. Above all, we hope our golfers grow to love the game while learning the many life lessons the game offers. The Emerald Coast Junior Golf Tour offers one-day and two-day events along the gulf coast in Pensacola, Destin, Panama City, Dothan (Alabama), Enterprise (Alabama), and other locations in Northwest Florida.

The Emerald Coast Junior Golf Tour was started to enable our junior golfers to gain regular local tournament playing experience and allow them to become the best golfers they can be. Above all, we hope they learn to love the game.
Description
The core values of our tour continue to be: 1. Affordability: We will strive to keep fees as low as possible and may ask parents to volunteer at an event to keep things running smoothly. 2. Fun: This is for the kids and must be fun for them to want to play. To this end we are allowing parents to caddy and interact with their children. This can be quality family time! 3. Competitiveness: Good competition brings out the best in our children and increases the enjoyment level. To this end we will ask the Championships Divisions to play longer yardages than they may be used to at middle or high school. The Premier Divisions will play age appropriate yardages to help them develop a love for the game. 4. Openness: Although we spend a lot of time thinking about what we are doing, we are open to any suggestions that may improve the tour!

Calum Masters of Dothan Al got his first victory of the year in the Emerald Coast Tour event at Bay Point. He won on the second playoff hole with a par over Two time winner this year Jacob Harper. Maters had rounds of 69-68-137. He birdied the final hole to get in the playoff with Harper. Harper had round of 71-66-137.

League registration fee is $405.00 and covers the following items per player: ALL 6 EVENTS !!!! Boys and Girls divisions for athletes 6 - 18 years old. 4 Age Divisions: 6-8, 9-11, 12-14, 15-18. Caddies allowed for 6-8, 9-11, 12-14 age divisions. League play consists of six 9-hole individual stroke play matches on weekends.
