About Slightly Stoopid
Since 1994, Slightly Stoopid has continued to be a musical brotherhood. Founded by Miles Doughty and Kyle McDonald, two musicians determined to succeed on their own terms, the pair of long-time childhood friends, has created a multi-genre fusion of rock, reggae, and blues with hip-hop, funk, American folk, metal, and punk. They remain unwavering in their principles of independence, honoring their diversity of influences and mentors, and furthering their inherited legacy of the Southern California sound. Slightly Stoopid has built a sweeping legacy for itself, continuously expanding in diversity and repertoire. Warriors of the road, their touring has grown exponentially both domestically and internationally with sold-out headlining dates across the world, and festival appearances at famed events such as Coachella, Lollapalooza, New Orleans Jazz Fest, ACL, Outside Lands, and Cali Vibes amongst countless others.
Thirty years into the journey, the prolific collective has much to celebrate; the band founded their own record label, Stoopid Records, garnering the platinum single “Closer To The Sun,”, and gold singles “2am” and “Collie Man,” and over one million physical catalog sales. They have worked with an array of collaborators and guest artists including Snoop Dogg, Bob Weir, Stephen Marley, Cypress Hill, G-Love, Barrington Levy, Chali2na, Karl Denson (Rolling Stones), Don Carlos (Black Uhuru) & Rashawn Ross (Dave Matthews Band). The entrepreneurial spirited band also created and continue to curate their annual sold-out Closer to the Sun destination music festival in Mexico (2024 will mark its 10th year), and have launched a line of unique, high-quality cannabis products under the guise of ‘Stoopid Strains’, along with their “Tangie Summer Haze” lager, a beer collaboration with Buzz Rock Breweries in Southern California, Website | Instagram | Twitter | YouTube | Facebook
About Dirty Heads
Since 2001, Dirty Heads have mixed hip-hop, reggae, and rock to create a unique sound that fully embodies their Southern California roots and resonates with audiences around the globe.
Dirty Heads are currently out-streaming some of the biggest alternative acts in the U.S., with
over 1.31 MILLION digital track sales and 2.7 BILLION on-demand streams since 2018. Dirty Heads also have over 2.4 million unique monthly listeners on Spotify.
The band’s global appeal reached new heights in 2021, when their hit “Vacation” (originally released in 2017) garnered over six billion views and streams across social media via the ubiquitous #VacationTransition challenge that originated organically with users on TikTok.
The group formed when punk rocker Dustin Bushnell (aka Duddy B) asked his friend, rapper Jared Watson (aka Dirty J), to collaborate on a project that would focus on positive vibes and infectious grooves. Watson added singing to his vocal skills, and later with percussionist Jon Olazabal, drummer Matt Ochoa, and bassist Dave Foral, Dirty Heads began building an immense audience.
In 2008, Dirty Heads released their acclaimed album Any Port in a Storm, with a deluxe edition following in 2010. The deluxe version featured the track “Lay Me Down” with special guest Rome Ramirez of Sublime with Rome. The song reached number one on Billboard’s Alternative Songs in May 2010, and nine weeks later it established a record as the song with the longest stint atop the chart for an independently released title.
They followed up two years later with Cabin by the Sea and later recorded an acoustic version of the title track. This, in turn, led to an entire acoustic album in 2013 called Home: Phantoms of Summer. Dirty Heads’ next album, Sound of Change, would prove to be a breakthrough for the now-veteran band, debuting at number eight on the Billboard Top 200 while topping the Independent and Alternative Albums charts upon its May 2014 release.
Building on their renewed success, Dirty Heads enlisted a bevy of industry hitmakers to work on their self-titled 2016 follow-up, which — thanks to its mainstream appeal — again charted high on the Billboard Top 200. The following year saw the band drop its sixth studio album, Swim Team, featuring the singles “Vacation,” in its original form, and “Staloney.”
Inspired by current events and the fan interpretations of their music in the #VacationTransition challenge, the band went into the studio to work on new music. In 2021 Dirty Heads released The Best Of Dirty Heads compilation, which included a new collaboration with Travis Barker and Aimee Interrupter of The Interrupters. The band also released their highly anticipated 8th studio album Midnight Control in August 2022 which featured 10 all-new songs including their take on Joe Walsh’s 1978 hit “Life’s Been Good.”
In 2023 Dirty Heads released the digital deluxe version of their album Midnight Control, featuring 23 tracks including acoustic versions of hit songs “Rescue Me,” “Life’s Been Good,” and “Island Glow,” Lo-Fi versions of 3 album tracks, 3 unreleased songs and more in addition to all 10 tracks from the original album. Featured artists include Monsieur Periné, Ivy Miller (Ivuss) and Alex Vince.
This summer, Dirty Heads performed their Top 5 hits “Life’s Been Good” and “Rescue Me” on the Today Show. Before the performance, Hosts Hoda & Jenna presented the band with a RIAA platinum plaque for their hit “Vacation,” acknowledging sales of more than 1 million digital downloads since its release BY BETTER NOISE MUSIC. The band’s take on Eagles founding member Joe Walsh’s classic “Life’s Been Good” has been streamed over 17 million times since its release and climbed to the Top 5 on the Mediabase Alternative chart. Dirty Heads also completed 37 dates on their Island Glow Summer Tour with Lupe Fiasco, Yelawolf, G. Love & Special Sauce, Tropidelic and Bikini Trill.

About Sublime with Rome
Sublime With Rome was formed in 2010 by lead-singer/guitarist Rome Ramirez, bassist Eric Wilson, and drummer Carlos Verdugo. The band is currently on tour in support of their hit 2019 album BLESSINGS with singles WICKED HEART and LIGHT ON making a splash at alternative radio. BLESSINGS is the band's third studio album, and it was helmed by Rob Cavallo, the producer behind Green Day, My Chemical Romance, Linkin Park, and more. In 2020 Sublime With Rome is dominating the rock and alternative music charts as well as headlining 5K+ capacity rooms and major festivals worldwide. With fan-favorite hits such as WRONG WAY, SANTERIA, BADFISH, WHAT I GOT, CARESS ME DOWN, 40oz TO FREEDOM and many more, the band's concerts are pure sing along enjoyment from beginning to end.
About Dirty Heads
Following in the footsteps of their California brothers Sublime, Huntington Beach's Dirty Heads mix hip-hop, reggae, and rock along with that laid-back So Cal attitude. The group formed in 2003 when punk rocker Dustin Bushnell (aka Duddy B) asked his friend, rapper Jared Watson (aka Dirty J), to collaborate on a project that would focus on positive vibes and infectious grooves. Watson added singing to his vocal skills, and with percussionist Jon Olazabal, an acoustic trio version of Dirty Heads began playing shows and building an audience.
Building on their renewed success, Dirty Heads enlisted a bevy of industry hitmakers to work on their self-titled 2016 follow-up, which -- thanks to its mainstream appeal -- again charted high on the Billboard Top 200. The following year saw the band drop its sixth studio album, Swim Team, featuring the singles "Vacation" and "Staloney." Also included on the album was the track "So Glad You Made It," featuring 311's Nick Hexum. The single "Listen to Me" arrived in early 2019 and was later included on Dirty Heads' Dave Cobb-produced seventh album Super Moon.

Aaaahhhh, awesome to hear them live! Incredible voices! The songs ive been listening to for years! Um, about that, not, repeat not thrilled with the setlist! No Moon Tower, Cabin By The Sea, Red Lights, Celebrate???? The show was over before 11?? Having read the setlists, up to the Catalyst in Santa Cruz last week.....um, weird setlist! The Fox Theater is such a comfy place and they have a great staff! We upgraded to VIP, cause why not! Loved seeing them! Another experience off the music bucket list!!
Music was good, enjoyed the venue until they came on, then the money spent on front row seats was worthless, the bouncers quit keeping people from blocking the view. Would have loved to hear more of the Dirty Heads and less opening bands. Four hours of live music was good. Three of them being bands I don't care about, not good.
