Group Tour Reservation Form
Group tour reservations for 15 or more people (10 for scouts).
Thank you for your interest in our group tours. To book a tour, please fill in the following information. Group reservations should be made 2 weeks in advance. When your information has been processed, we will e-mail you a confirmation form. Please note that your tour has not been booked unless you receive a confirmation form. We look forward to having your group!
Please register early and provide alternate dates in case your first choice is full. Thank you!
By filling out this form you are committing to reserve this tour and will get a confirmation via email (or a list of alternate dates if the date you want it full). If you need to cancel a reservation you must contact us in advance.
The Meadows Center's Spring Lake Education Program is an evidence-based research program that is actively collecting data. Your group or field trip will participate in activities and educational modules for research, training, and promotional purposes. All data collected will be strictly anonymous.
Please be advised that the program/activity and all visitors must be in compliance with Texas State University's policies and procedures including, UPPS 04.05.15 . All Policies and Procedures can be found on the Texas State University website.

Healthcare Neighborhood
The School of Health Professions is transitioning from San Marcos to Round Rock. Students in certain programs currently complete their clinical study in our new Healthcare Neighborhood, including the St. David's School of Nursing and our state-of-the-art clinical labs at Willow Hall. Self-Guided Tour
Texas State invites you to explore our campuses on your own with a self-guided tour. When you sign up for a self-guided tour, we will provide printable maps for both a walking tour and a driving tour. The maps will include QR codes you can scan on your mobile device to open videos of our student tour guides providing detailed information about each of the stops on the tour. You will also be provided with a link to a presentation video with information about admissions, cost of attendance, financial aid and scholarships, housing, and more.

University Camp
Basic information.
At 126 acres, University Camp hosts over four miles of hiking and biking trails and sweeping views of the Blanco River and the river valley. Offering a variety of year-round outdoor recreation such as, swimming, kayaking, snorkeling, and fishing, University Camp is an ideal location for special events, family gatherings, or a day getaway!
Exclusive reservation access for students, faculty/staff/retirees, graduates of Texas State University (Guests of reservation holders can be outside of the Texas State community).
The Blanco River's water level and temperature is seasonal/rain dependent. When rain is limited, the river may begin to form pools as flow is reduced. However, water can always be accessed from the day use areas, or a short walk along the river.

How to Reserve & Make Payment
When reservations can be made.
The first day of your reservation within each season can be requested by the following dates, depending on your classification.
When Sites are Available
4 Day Use Site reservations are available per day on the calendar. Areas in the Day Use area are first-come first-served, and have no relation to the Site Number on the reservation calendar. Busy = Reserved
For easier viewing, use the "Month View" after clicking on a site calendar. Dates that show "Busy" are unavailable.
- Day Use Sites can show four (4) "Busy" spots per day. If there are less than four (4), space is available.
- Areas in the Day Use area are first-come-first-served upon arrival and have no relation to the Site Number on the reservation calendar.
- Dates that show "Busy" for Campsites and Lodges ending at 2:00 PM, are available for reservations starting at 3:00 PM.
- University Camp is closed on Monday & Tuesday, except for holiday weekends.
Site Accommodation Limits
Multiple sites must be reserved if group size exceeds the maximum of a single site. There is no limit on the number of tents at each campsite.
Refunds, Rescheduling & Cancellations
Any cancellation or rescheduled reservation made more than ten (10) days before the reservation date will receive a full refund, less a $20.00 processing fee.
Any cancellation made within ten (10) days of the reservation date will forfeit all payment made towards a reservation. Transfer dates will be accepted on an individual basis, please contact [email protected] directly.
No refunds will be issued due to inclement weather unless University Camp is closed by Texas State University.

Option 1: Make payment online
- Visit the online Campus Recreation Customer Portal
- Alumni : Use the email address you make your reservation with.
- Click the profile photo then click Profile
- Click the Invoices link
- Click the Pay button
- Enter maximum amount then click apply Payment
- Enter Credit Card payment information, then continue to process payment.

Camp Features & Amenities
Hours & seasons.
University Camp is open Martin Luther King Jr. Weekend until the last weekend before the Winter Administrative Closure in December.
University Camp Hours: University Camp is closed on Monday and Tuesday. Tuesday is available for special programming.

University Camp is open on Mondays for the following holiday weekends. All below holidays are charged at the Holiday rate, UNLESS noted below.

Reservation Rates
Day Use rates are the daily rate. Campsite and Lodge rate are a nightly rate.
- Example: Staying in a lodge Friday-Sunday would be a quantity of two (2) weekend nights.
Lodge reservations that begin on a Friday, or include Saturday or Sunday, must reserve Friday 3pm - Sunday 2pm (2-night minimum).
Single-night Lodge reservations may be requested no earlier than the Monday before the desired weekend.

The Texas State University Camp is located 20 miles northwest of the San Marcos campus in Wimberley, Texas. 5 miles east of Wimberley, visitors will travel east on Flite Acres Road and turn left onto University Road until it ends at the University Camp entrance gate. (Note: Flite Acres Road may appear to connect with the University Camp property on many map applications, but that is an error)

We offer a variety of tour options (including virtual tours for those unable to visit in person) and scheduled events with the goal to open our doors to help you make an informed decision to become an MSU Mustang.
Campus Tours
Would you like to explore Midwestern State University on an official visit? We will tour a variety of academic buildings, a residential hall, the Clark Student Center, and the Library. Additionally, you will get the opportunity to meet face-to-face with an admissions counselor to ask all your pressing questions.
We cannot wait to get to know you and show off our beautiful and welcoming campus!
Weekday Tours
Who: You (student) and up to four guests for a total of five attendees. Registration in advance is required as space is limited.
When : We offer daily tours at 10 a.m. and 2 p.m.
Where : Meet us at the Welcome Center located in Hardin South 10 minutes prior to the start of the tour.
Where to Park : Free parking is available at the corner of Council Drive and Taft Boulevard, noted by "Parking for Future Mustangs" signage.
Saturday Tours
Who : You (student) and your guests. Registration in advance is required as space is limited .
When : Please check back for upcoming tour dates.
Where : Meet us at the Dillard College of Business Administration Building in Room 101. Check-in is from 10:30 a.m. to 11:00 a.m.
Where to Park : Free parking is available in Lot 2, adjacent to the Dillard College of Business Administration along Hampstead Lane.
Group Visits
Who : Up to 100 high school or community college students coordinated by your campus guidance counselor or coordinator. Requests must be made in advance and are officially booked when you receive a confirmation email with a date and an agenda.
When : Group visits begin at 10 a.m.

Showcase Saturday is the perfect opportunity to bring your family and friends with you to experience our beautiful campus in the pineywoods of Nacogdoches. Tour highlights include the Baker Pattillo Student Center, one of our residence halls, Steen Library, Student Recreation Center and academic buildings.

We offer group visits to high schools at 11 a.m. on Mondays, Wednesdays and Fridays during the fall and spring terms. Tour capacity is 100 students.

You can meet with a representative from the Office of Admissions before or after every tour to learn more about how to apply to SFA, from submitting test scores and completing an application to setting up a mySFA account. Admissions representatives are available most weekdays.

Interested in a specific major or area of study? Meet with a faculty member from your academic department of choice and learn more about coursework, curriculum and career opportunities.

Financial aid
Concerned about the cost of a college education? We can help. Visit our financial aid department to learn how to apply for financial aid and get details about the different types of financial aid available to SFA students, from grants to Federal Work-study programs to student loans.
To meet with a financial aid representative, just visit their office. If you want to meet with your assigned aid counselor, you'll want to make an appointment in advance.
Student services
While you’re here, make sure to drop by the Baker Pattillo Student Center to learn more about the variety of services available to Lumberjacks, from dining and entertainment options to mail and printing. And if you get hungry, you don’t have to go far – the student center is home to several popular favorites like Starbucks, Chick-fil-A and more.

Living on campus is a great way to get the full "college experience." And whether you're looking for quiet, low-key surroundings or larger-than-life fun, you’ll find a perfect match in one of our many residence halls .

The Student Activities Association Cinema , located in the Baker Pattillo Student Center, presents great movies at a great price.
Performing and visual arts
Many talented performers grace our stages, from touring acts to student-directed plays and performances by our Lumberjack musicians. There's almost always an art exhibit on display, showcasing works from our School of Art faculty and students.

State Fair of Texas announces 2024 music lineup
DALLAS – The State Fair of Texas has revealed its music lineup for this year.
Headliners in the 2024 lineup include North Texas' own Bowling For Soup and the University of North Texas' Four O'Clock Lab Band.
Jason Hays, senior vice president of Brand Experience at the State Fair of Texas, says there are 25 headliners this year, their largest top-talent lineup ever.
"The excitement is palpable as we prepare to welcome an extraordinary array of talent across all our stages that promises to create unforgettable moments for fairgoers," Hays said. "This year's State Fair is shaping up to be the most vibrant and entertaining yet, and we can't wait to share these experiences with everyone at the Most Texan Place on Earth!"
Jo Dee Messina opens up the concert series performing on the Chevrolet Main Stage on September 27 at 8:30 p.m.
The Commodores close out the State Fair with a performance on October 20 at 4:30 p.m.
