The answer has already been posted. You start on Pandora with a working fast travel system, there's no need to fly the ship anywhere. From Sanctuary III, "m" for map, "x" for galaxy & select your destination planet, click to zoom in and fast travel. That fixes the Map, But doesn't fix drop or trade.

Click the fast travel icon on the map. Haha just bought this and had the same issue. It lets you attempt the fast travel automatically which is odd considering you have to move over to the icon to actually fast travel. I ran around the 2nd planet trying different stations, reset the game thinking it was broke, etc. Ridiculous really.

The orbit and galaxy view don't work on the epic version on pc. it is no longer possible to use fast travel once you're on the sanctuary. only the first standard option remain. for the rest, you have to manually go to the pod of the sanctuary to land on the planet, and you can't fast travel to other area of the planet either.
