Review by Don Edwards "I had a pair of your Hand Deflectors on my Honda® Valkyrie that probably saved me from some serious injury. Riding along at 60mph, I saw this blur to my right that was the head of a deer just as it hit my right Hand Deflector. I already knew that the Deflectors were great at keeping off the rain and cold wind but, in this case, they also protected me from DEER FACE! There was this bang as my Hand Deflector broke off in the collision. The impact also broke off my mirror and rotated my front brake lever at an upward angle. Luckily, the bike didn't go down, but the deer did.

2014 Victory Vision Touring, Cruise button lights up no cruise indidction on display and it will not engage, What can i check?

Check the throttle/idle cable switch. Disconnect either wire leading to this switch at the connector and see if your cruise control can be set to on then. Of course, be careful since rolling off the throttle will not cancel the cruise control operation.

Cruise control for highball

I assume the reason the highball isnt listed as a model that can accept the cruise control add on is because of the bars but am wondering if anyone has attempted it anyway and what they had to do to make it fit?

I use a throttlemiester on my xc

guessing you would have to cut and splice wires to handlebars

I did it. it works great. the return throttle cable on the bike gets replaced with 1 in the kit. the mounting location is low on the bike, I redrilled the holes in the bracket about 3/4 of an inch higher to keep from scraping the CC module on bumps or driveways. it was the best 500 bucks I spent on my highball!!

Considering this for the wife Jackpot, and would love pictures!

Glad to know it works & doesnt take much work. I was curious as to why it wasnt listed as compatible as i am quite interested in it as an option down the line.

I installed the 2877177 on my wifes highball...complete plug and play..no problem

I know this thread is a little old but been wanting to install this on my highball. My wife bought the same part number for me (2877177) even though i dont see that part number on the module or any of the parts. It appears to be same unit from the pics ive seen. Pretty easy job for the most part? What year highball your wifes? It looks like it the number on the module is 4011316 i thought i seen that number listed somewhere for the CC, but cables might be different. Just not sure if i got the correct module or if maybe the module is the same and other things like diffrent cables or something make it p/n 2877177.

I never did like the cruise control on Vic's due to the grip moving around so I installed a tried and true friction cruise control that I can adjust easily and they have some nice grips. Actually you buy the grips and get the cruise control as an addon option. Grips - Page 1 - CoolSAC Another option is the Kuryakyn friction bar end cruise control. Probably best to get the matching left side bar end weight to match. The trick is a relay is required on the White/Blue wire to apply ground whenever the brakes are not on. Judge vs Vegas touring?

The Judge has much less suspension travel, as a result, the spring was wound much tighter and your spine will be compensated accordingly. It also has a low end damper rod fork that will test your mettle on that end too.
Cruise control install help needed.

My fault in the end for zip-tying the cable on the side of the frame. Anyway, there are 2 connectors, one under the front of the seat and one in the fairing bucket.

Victory started wiring the bikes to accept cruise control in 2009 on the Vegas and Kingpin. Not sure about the other models, but definitely not a 2008. On my 2006, I used a combination of the BreakAway ( for long flat stretches ) and a throttle boss ( works with the Kuryakyn ISO grips ) where I needed to vary the throttle.
