Treasure hunts in Far Cry 6 are optional activities that often involve solving environmental puzzles and putting your grapple to good use with some acrobatics inside caves or military bases. At the end of each you will receive unique rewards, from unique weapons to weapon charms.

Here's where you can start the Cache Money treasure hunt:

  • Cache Money location: East of Oasis Plains in Aguas Lindas.

trip the wire far cry 6

Now, let's jump to the steps to complete the quest.

Looking for more help? If you're just starting, we have pages on male or female Dani Rojas , completing Fuel the Revolution , how to destroy anti-aircraft guns , and where to go first on the map . Elsewhere, we explain where to find Triada Relic locations , Parting Gifts , The Long Drop , Cache Money , Rising Tide , High Supply , And the Beat Goes On , The Last One to Leave , Liquid Courage , The Missing Muse , The Emerald Skull , The Truest Yaran , Chorizo's location , the best Far Cry 6 weapons , and the GDP Oil Platform , Finally, we explain Far Cry 6's secret ending .

This treasure hunt is started by picking up a note close to the entrance of the military base east of Oasis Plains in Aguas Lindas. From here, we'll be heading to Bunker 2. From where you just picked up the note, keep moving forward and turn around the corner to see the bunker on the other side with the number 2 on top.

trip the wire far cry 6

Upon your arrival, you will see a guard reading a note next to the door. Get rid of them and interact with said note.

trip the wire far cry 6

Naturally, the door is out of power. For this, head back around the building you just passed and hop on the small shack that leads to the stairs. Climb to the roof and you'll see a button next to a table with tools.

trip the wire far cry 6

The trick here is simple: the door will open for a few seconds and then shut itself again. During that in between moment, go ahead and shoot inside to trigger an explosion.

trip the wire far cry 6

This will burst upon a hatch on the roof, and you'll be able to hop within the bunker from there. There isn't much inside except for a mess after the explosion. That being said, the trap door on the ground is one you want to interact with.

trip the wire far cry 6

Use the ladder to head down below and make your way through the corridors until you get to the room.

trip the wire far cry 6

You will see a locked door that needs a keycard. On the opposite end, there's another door that lets you inside the storage. Shoot the lock in the handle and hop inside. You will see the keycard right away, hanging from the shelves.

trip the wire far cry 6

Unlock the door and head inside. Only a few steps left. Read the note that's on the green couch. Then, activate the button behind the desk. This will open the final door.

trip the wire far cry 6

All there's left is to open the chest to claim your reward. You will obtain the Sobek Special sniper rifle.

trip the wire far cry 6

That is all for this treasure hunt.

Far Cry 6 Cache Money and how to open Bunker 2

How to open Bunker 2 in the Cache Money treasure hunt

far cry 6 cache money

The Far Cry 6 Cache Money mission is mainly about how to open Bunker 2. This sealed building is the destination for a treasure hunt in Madrugada and has an oddly tricky solution that could be quite hard, especially if you haven't got your screen brightness whacked up high. It shouldn't actually be that hard but there's some really bad signposting where, while the objective is clear, the solution is definitely not in this Far Cry 6 task. So if you're stuck trying to open the Far Cry 6 Cache Money Bunker 2 door we can help you do just that and get this treasure hunt finished.

Far Cry 6 Cache Money treasure hunt location

far cry 6 cache money

You'll find the Far Cry 6 Cache Money treasure hunt by Esperanza west checkpoint, just outside of Esperanza in Madrugada. The treasure hunt icon will appear if you get close but there's also a chance you'll get intel on it from speaking to any guerillas with the black exclam point over their heads. Once you know where you're going, head to this Aguas Lindas building:

far cry 6 cache money

You'll need to take a little care getting in if you don't want any trouble, as there's a lot of traffic going through the gate and a sniper tower overlooking everything. Once you're inside, however, things are fairly clear.

This is the building you're looking for, with the treasure hunt note on the guard booth by the barrier that explains Bunker 2 must remain closed at all times.

How to open Bunker 2 in the Far Cry 6 Cache Money mission

Head past the building and you should see a ladder that will take you up to the roof. There's one guard up there, and another below, at ground level around the back, deal with them as you will and then look for a switch overlooking Bunker 2.

If you press the switch the Bunker 2 door will open. Briefly. There seems to be no way of reaching the open door in time and this is where a lot of people are getting stuck. The reason is the spectacularly bad sign posting here - if you want to get into the Cache Money Bunker 2 you need to press the switch and then shoot through the doors while they're open. It's impossible to see most times of day but there are actually explosive containers in there and blowing them up will blast open a hatch on the roof. That's how you get in.

far cry 6 cache money

Once inside the bunker head down the corridor to reach an office and storage areas (check the desk for an Assassin's Creed Easter egg note). Shoot the lock to get in the cage for some resources and a key card for the locked door. Inside the office look for a switch behind the desk to open a secret passage and inside there you'll find the Sobek Special sniper rifle, a unique weapon with explosive bullets.

Elden Ring: Shadow of the Erdtree - Where to Use Prayer Room Key (& How to Get It)

10 most relaxing base-building games, elden ring dlc reveals what's inside the living jars.

As Far Cry 6 players explore the region of Yara, they will encounter a variety of FND bases throughout the region. While the rewards for completing FND bases typically include crafting materials, at one of the largest bases Far Cry 6 players are also able to complete an optional treasure hunt.

On the east coast of the Aguas Lindas region , players will find one of the largest FND bases in the game, containing multiple outposts, launch sites, and bunkers. At one of the outposts, players will find a document in an orange container that will start a nearby treasure hunt called "Cache Money".

RELATED: Far Cry 6: The Mongoose and The Man Treasure Hunt Guide

In the document, an FND commander gives an order to keep Bunker 2 sealed at all times. Players will find the bunker directly behind the nearby building.

How To Open The Bunker Door

Similar to the solution for "The Last One To Leave" treasure hunt , in the Cache Money hunt, players must follow the powerlines. When inspecting the bunker, players will notice a series of powerlines leading from the bunker controls to the roof of the nearby outpost. Proceed to the side of the outpost and climb the ladder to the roof of the building.

On the roof, players will find a large generator with a switch that can be interacted with. When players press the switch, they will find that the bunker doors will briefly open.

Unfortunately, the door will not open long enough for the player to reach the entrance to the bunker. After interacting with the switch, use any ranged weapon and aim towards the opening in the bunker doors.

Through the opening, players will see several gas barrels inside the bunker that they can shoot. After shooting the barrels, the roof hatch of the bunker will blow open, allowing players to access it.

Proceed into the bunker and then down the orange hatch. After following a large hallway, players will eventually reach a fenced storage area containing cultural relics that have been stolen by Anton Castillo's army .

Shoot the lock to the room and pick up the office key that is found on one of the shelves. With the office key, players will be able to access the adjacent officer's room.

Inside the room, players will find a hidden switch underneath the officer's desk. Interact with the switch in order to reveal a secret room containing the final reward chest.

In the chest, players will obtain the Sobek Special 3-star sniper rifle. Like other unique weapons obtained through treasure hunts, this weapon cannot be modified at any of the workbenches.

Far Cry 6 releases October 7 for PC, PS4, PS5, Stadia, Xbox One, and Xbox Series X.

How to find and enter Bunker 2 in Far Cry 6

Image of Jason Rodriguez

Bunker 2 is a location in Far Cry 6. You’ll visit it as part of a treasure hunt called Cache Money which, coincidentally, rewards you with the Sobek Special unique sniper rifle. Here’s our guide to help you find and enter Bunker 2 in Far Cry 6.

Go to the FND Storage Hub in Aguas Lindas, Madrugada

Bunker 2 and the Cache Money treasure hunt are found in Aguas Lindas at the northeastern section of Madrugada (it’s close to the Esperanza border). The area that we’re looking for is called the FND Storage Hub.

Once you get there, climb the ladder at the side of the building and take out the guards. You can interact with a panel here (seen in the featured image) that opens Bunker 2’s doors. Unfortunately, you won’t have enough time to make a mad dash before the doors close.

trip the wire far cry 6

Now, if you take a closer look, you’ll realize that there are fuel canisters piled up just behind Bunker 2’s entrance. If you use grenades, machine guns, or rocket launchers, you can cause a massive explosion. This will cause the shaft above Bunker 2 to open up.

Climb down the shaft and the ladder. Continue along the hallway until you see a locked gate. Shoot the lock and pick up the Officer’s Keycard on the shelf.

In the next area, you should find a television set. Examine the desk to find another switch. Interact with it to reveal a hidden room. Inside, you’ll find a Yaran Contraband chest. Open it and get the Sobek Special unique sniper rifle. This also completes the Cache Money treasure hunt in Far Cry 6.

Far Cry 6 Bunker 2 Cache Money

Far Cry 6 Cache Money Guide: How to Get Into Bunker 2

Image of Diego Perez

Are you having trouble with the Cache Money Treasure Hunt in Far Cry 6? Far Cry 6 has several Treasure Hunts scattered across Yara that reward players with unique weapons and gear if they manage to solve a puzzle, but Cache Money is one of the trickiest puzzles in the game. This quest requires you to find the confiscated treasure somewhere in Bunker 2, but getting inside the bunker is easier said than done. Here’s how to get inside Bunker 2 in Far Cry 6’s Cache Money Treasure Hunt.

How to Start Cache Money in Far Cry 6

Cache Money is located in an FND base in the Aguas Lindas region of Madgrugada. It’s just west of Esperanza, Yara’s capital city. It’s a dangerous area filled with tough enemies, so make sure you either come prepared or stay out of sight. Once you arrive at the FND base, you can find a note that will start the Treasure Hunt.

How to Access Bunker 2 in the Cache Money Treasure Hunt

According to the note, the soldiers have hidden some confiscated goods in Bunker 2 nearby. If you can get inside, you can retrieve what they’ve stolen. Bunker 2 is on the northern edge of the base. Follow the power lines leading from the bunker onto the roof of the main building. This will lead you to a power switch that opens the bunker door.

Far-Cry-6-How-to-Get-Into-Bunker-2

Press the switch on the roof to open the door to Bunker 2. The door only opens for a few seconds though, and there’s nowhere near enough time for you to run inside. Thankfully, there are a bunch of explosive canisters just inside the bunker. When the door opens, shoot the barrels inside Bunker 2. This will blow open the hatch on the roof of the bunker, giving you a way in.

Make your way through the hatch and proceed down into the bunker. Open the second hatch inside and climb down the ladder. This will bring you to the main storage area in Bunker 2. Shoot the lock off the gate and grab the key hanging on the wall. Then, use that key to open the nearby locked door and enter the office.

Far-Cry-6-Cache-Money-Desk-Switch

The office seems like a dead end, but there’s a secret room that can be opened with a hidden switch behind the desk. Press the button behind the desk and the treasure room will reveal itself. Inside, you’ll find a weapon cache with a 3-star sniper file in it.

Far-Cry-6-Sobek-Special

Your reward for this Treasure Hunt is the Sobek Special, a unique sniper rifle. It comes equipped with Blast Rounds and a canted sight, allowing you to swap between a long-range scope and a short-range optic on the fly. Blast Rounds also make this weapon perfect for taking out tanks and helicopters. There are plenty of other Treasure Hunts scattered across Yara, so keep an eye out for them if you want to earn rare gear.

Far Cry 6  is available now on PC, PS4, PS5, Xbox One, Xbox Series X|S, Google Stadia, and Amazon Luna. Check out  our review of the game here .

Far Cry 6 Cache Money Treasure Hunt and how to get in Bunker 2

The hunt is on

Far Cry 6 Cache Money is one among many treasure hunts you’ll find scattered across Yara, and entering Bunker 2 to find the treasure makes it one of the more difficult ones.

It's worth the trouble, though. Your reward is a special rifle that's perfectly suited to guerilla combat.

Far Cry 6 Cache Money - Where to find Cache Money Treasure Hunt

trip the wire far cry 6

Cache Money triggers once you arrive at the Aguas Lindas FND base in Yara’s Madrugada region. Search the loot crates in the base, and you’ll find the document that starts the hunt.

The document directs you to Bunker 2. The location is nearby, and and it’s also marked on your map. Since the bunker is still inside the restricted zone, expect heavy opposition.

How to enter Bunker 2 in Far Cry 6

Follow the power lines until you reach the bunker, then climb up to the roof. Your goal is destroying everything inside, but there’s a catch. The only way into the bunker is through the front door, and while there’s a generator powering the roof door, the switch that opens the bunker door gives you a window of opportunity too short to make it inside.

trip the wire far cry 6

The bunker just so happens to be full of fuel canisters — and some Easter egg contraband — so the easiest way to get inside is opening the door and chucking a grenade in.

Head inside once the flames die down, shoot the lock off the gate, and go inside the fenced area. Grab the key to the officer’s room, then activate the switch under their desk. This finally gives you access to the treasure room.

trip the wire far cry 6

The cache itself contains a 3-star sniper rifle, the Sobek Special. Like other special weapons, this one has a predetermined loadout that you can’t modify at workbenches.

If you're feeling confident with your new rifle, take on some of Far Cry 6 's other massive bases to find rare materials, including uranium , and scraps for upgrading your camp facilities . Getting the ultimate weapons will take some extra time and grind, though. If you're really determined to hunt down all of Yara's secrets, make sure to find all 15 Criptograma chests as well.

‘far cry 6’: 8 tips and tricks to bring down the regime, share this article.

trip the wire far cry 6

Need more gunpowder? Sick of driving 15 miles to every destination? Are bullets getting you down? Check out these handy Far Cry 6 tips and watch all of your worries slip away. The fictional islands of Yara won’t liberate themselves, guerrilla.

Far Cry 6 is like slipping on a pair of comfy shoes. You’ve probably played this game at least three times before, and you know exactly what to expect: bullets, guns, fire, compounds, a map full of objectives, wingsuits, an iconic villain, vehicles, and chickens that want to kill you. It’s Far Cry exactly as you know it, but there are a few wrinkles to its systems that you’ll want to be aware of before you parachute into Yara with a submachine gun and a grudge.

1 Get more gunpowder

trip the wire far cry 6

Gunpowder is an essential crafting component in Far Cry 6 . Hell, it’s an essential part of any revolution. In Yara, you need gunpowder to craft weapon attachments. The most reliable way to get gunpowder is by grabbing supply drops and taking over checkpoints. Prioritize taking over military compounds over missions and you’ll have enough gun dust to open your own fireworks factory.

Weapon attachments are more important in Far Cry 6 than they are in most games because each gun you find — unless it’s one of the unique weapons, which come with pre-baked attachments and skins — starts off naked, and you have to make sure it has the right ammo, scope, barrel mod, and perks for the job. Speaking of which…

2 Use the right tool for the job

trip the wire far cry 6

Bullets are bullets, right? Wrong. You fool, you nincompoop. In Far Cry 6 , not all bullets are created equal. Performing reconnaissance has always been a big part of Ubisoft’s first-person shooter series, but it’s more important than ever for the liberation of Yara. Whenever you head to an enemy base, you should first find a vantage point and pull out your phone. Zoom in to tag all the enemies in the vicinity, and get some information about their kit. Zooming in on specific soldiers will tell you what ammo types they are weak against, allowing you to plan your assault.

For non-armored enemies, you want Soft Body rounds. For armored enemies, you want Armor Piercing rounds. Explosives work on everything, but you want to save a reserve for when you come up against vehicles. Later in the game, you can start experimenting with incendiary rounds and poison rounds. Incendiary ammo works well against flamethrower enemies — especially if you hit them in the fuel tank — while poison rounds can turn enemies against each other.

3 Read intel

Far Cry 6 Giancarlo Esposito

It’s easy to skim over the hundreds of written notes dotted around modern action games. Who cares if the guy you just killed has a family? It’s just polygons. Touch grass, etc. But you really should force yourself to read the notes in Far Cry 6 . A lot of the intel here is actually useful. They can reveal hidden routes, the locations of supply caches, and more. Read. The. Intel.

4 Look for grapple routes

trip the wire far cry 6

Sometimes the most obvious route to your objective is the best. Sometimes you’re rewarded for getting creative. In Far Cry 6 , the latter is more often true. Keep an eye out for places where you can throw your grappling hook when you’re infiltrating a base, and you’ll often be treated to a stealthy route into one of the main buildings. At worst, you’ll have access to a vantage point where you can silently take out your enemies with a silenced rifle.

5 Watch for cameras and alarms

trip the wire far cry 6

Outside of the obvious — the heavily armed military personnel patrolling the base — there are two other things to watch out for when creeping into a base in Far Cry 6 : cameras and alarms.

Cameras alert the entire base if you’re spotted, though you do get a couple of seconds to react when one locks onto you. These are dealt with like most other things in the game: by shooting them.

Then there are alarms, which come in two flavors. One alarm type can be shot to disable it. Another has to be manually disabled by holding the interact button when close. You can also disable the destructible ones in this manner, but why would you bother? In the words of Avril Lavigne : “He’s just an alarm, she’s just a bullet — can I make it any more obvious?”

Oh, and watch out for trip mines. Bumbling into explosive wires is a good way to let an entire base know you’re here and you’re incompetent. Get close to these while crouched and you can manually disable them without the fireworks. If you’re sick of sneaking, you can always shoot them.

trip the wire far cry 6

Aircraft are one of the fastest ways to get around the mountainous islands of Yara. Unfortunately, some guy from Breaking Bad decided to put a bunch of anti-aircraft guns all over the place and ruin the beautiful scenery. While you can and should go around wrecking all of the AA guns, you can get around the whole “oh no, I got shot out of the sky again” situation by flying low. Skim the ground and you can still zip around Yara in an aircraft without becoming a fiery ball of metal and flesh.

7 Airdrop FTW

trip the wire far cry 6

As mentioned in the gunpowder section, you should take over as many military targets as possible. Not only does this give you access to more crafting materials, but it also creates a new fast travel point. Many of these fast travel points even give you the option to airdrop in. Once you’ve unlocked the wingsuit, dropping into a nearby fast travel point and gliding to your next objective easily trumps every other method of transportation. It also makes you look extremely cool.

8 Holster your weapons

If you’re not in a restricted area, Yara’s military will leave you alone if you keep your distance and keep your guns in their holsters. This means you can explore and recon without being harassed by enemies, and it’s always worth avoiding conflict where you can. It won’t stop you from being killed by a chicken, unfortunately.

Far Cry 6 Guide – 10 Tips and Tricks to Keep in Mind

S oon we’ll all be diving into the open world of  Far Cry 6’s  Yara and attempt to dismantle Anton Castillo’s tyrannical regime. As you’d expect from a  Far Cry  game, Ubisoft’s newest open world shooter is vast, dense, and full of things to do, and as you prepare to dive in, here, we’ve prepared a few handy pointers that’ll make your visit to this beautiful island nation a little smoother.

START WITH MADRUGA

Far Cry 6  starts off an a small island in Yara off the mainland- it’s basically the game’s tutorial area. But once you get to Yara proper, you’ll have the freedom to visit any of the world’s regions in whatever order you please. That said, while there is no officially “correct” order to tackle the game’s world, some of them are a little harder than the others. The best area to start with is Madruga, which feels like a nice progression coming off the starting island. Madruga’s main questline also has some important story details that will give you a better understanding of the story early on, so it makes sense as the first area to head to from a narrative standpoint as well.

KEEP CUSTOMIZING YOUR WEAPONS

far cry 6

Customization is a much bigger deal in  Far Cry 6  than it tends to be in this series. The game embraces the whole guerrilla motif and puts customization of weapons – and even creating new ones from scratch – front and center. Resources don’t flow too freely though, and you always have a limited number of mod slots per weapon, so our advice is to pay close attention to what upgrades you’re upgrading for your weapons. If you’re focused on stealth, make sure you save up and get the really good silencers for your weapons. If you prefer long-range combat though, purchasing good scopes can turn rifles into proper sniper rifles.

GET A GOOD SILENCER

far cry 6

Speaking of silencers- get one for at least one of your weapons as quickly as you can. In fact, make it your first weapon upgrade. As with any  Far Cry  game, stealth is a crucial pillar of  Far Cry 6’s  gameplay, and you’ll be relying on silenced shots just as much as you will on up-close machete kills. Initially you won’t be able to afford anything but a dinky old silencer made from an old plastic bottle, but once you have enough materials, craft one that takes longer to overheat, so that even if you deal less damage or miss a couple of shots, you’ll be able to fire off multiple quick shots before your silencer overheats and is rendered temporarily useless. Also, you’ll probably be better off if you put a silencer on a rifle or a submachine gun rather than a pistol, which doesn’t do a ton of damage.

Far Cry 6

This is another small but important part of customization.  Far Cry 6  has several different kinds of ammo. On top of regular bullets, you have soft-shelled bullets, armour-piercing rounds, incendiary rounds, poisoned ammo, and more, and certain enemy types are weaker to specific ammo types. Given the fact that you can only carry three weapons (and one resolver weapon), and that each weapon can only use one ammo type at a time, you need to think about what kind of a loadout you’re heading into a fight with. As such, it’s smart to scope out enemies from a vantage point before you head into combat to pinpoint what ammo type they’re weak to.

Far Cry 6

Far Cry 6’s  gear system, thankfully enough, isn’t like a typical loot-focused game. There’s a limited roster of gear, and rather than increasing different weapon stats or offering miniscule stat upgrades, each gear piece comes with a unique perk- and it’s highly recommended that you pay attention to those perks rather than just equipping whatever has the higher rank. Perks can be simple things, like increasing your defense against armour-piercing rounds, or some more interesting ones, like instantly tagging enemies in your vicinity as soon as you perform a stealth melee kill, but they’re almost always quite effective in unique ways. Changing your gear loadout depending on what kind of a situation you’re headed into can actually be quite useful.

HIDEOUT NETWORK

Far Cry 6

Each of Yara’s three main regions has a camp that serves as your hub in that part of the world, and you can also make upgrades to these camps by adding various facilities with different benefits. Whichever camp you get to first, the first facility you establish should be the Hideout Network. Not only will that unlock the wingsuit for you – which is an important part of traversal in any  Far Cry  game – it will also unlock the ability to fast travel to any guerrilla hideouts you find throughout Yara.

far cry 6

Far Cry 6’s  Heat Level might sound like a Wanted system on paper, but the progression here is much more gradual and much more permanent, which means the more you kill enemies and destroy enemy vehicles and disrupt Castillo’s operations, the tougher things will get for you. Balancing that can be tricky, which is why stealth is always encouraged. Firefights become increasingly more challenging as your Heat level rises, so ensure you keep a close eye on it as you explore the open world.

GUERRILLA PATHS

far cry 6

Exploring Yara is, in many ways, not that much different from exploring other  Far Cry  settings, but it does have a few interesting wrinkles. Off the beaten paths and highways and roads, for instance, Yara is full of guerrilla paths, twisting trails and tunnels and hidden pathways used by the guerrilla revolution in its fight against the Castillo regime. Any chance you get, you should explore these paths. Not only will you find plenty of materials and gear, you’ll also run into other guerrilla soldiers who might tell you about various points of interests in the world, or even chance across a hidden activities simply by following markings in the environment.

ANTI-AIR WEAPONS

Far Cry 6

Flying about in Yara isn’t as uncomplicated and easy as it tends to be in most  Far Cry  worlds. Anton Castillo has set up various anti-air weapons throughout Yara, which means the skies aren’t exactly safe until you track down these installations and destroy them. That is, of course, enough reward in and of itself, but these sites also tend to have depleted uranium, which is one of the rarest resources in  Far Cry 6  and is used to make special resolver weapons. So if you learn about or come across an anti-air weapon, make sure to head to it sooner rather than later.

far cry 6

Far Cry 6  will give you a free vehicle in its early hours, but throughout the game, you’ll also be able to add to your collection. There are a number of different vehicles in  Far Cry 6 , but you don’t add them to your permanent collection simply by driving them. If you find a vehicle a like, make sure you take it to a vehicle drop off point, so that you can then summon it whenever you want and customize it however you want.

“Think the police in GTA”: Star Wars Outlaws Shouldn’t be the Last to Take a GTA 6 Feature, When Far Cry 7 Would be a Better Fit

Star Wars Outlaws will have one popular feature from the GTA series and one fans will grow to hate in Far Cry 7.

star wars outlaws, gta 6, far cry 7

  • The wanted system of the Grand Theft Auto franchise inspired the law in the upcoming Star Wars game.
  • Rumors about the time limit in Far Cry 7 has sent the gaming community to a frenzy.
  • Star Wars Outlaws is set to be released later this year on PlayStation 5, Xbox Series X/S, and PC.

Star Wars Outlaws is set to be released later this year and the gaming community is beyond excited to return to the world of Star Wars from a different perspective for once. Ubisoft has high hopes for this upcoming project and hopes to piggyback on the success of another game.

There is no shame in taking inspiration from other great gaming franchises, the upcoming Star Wars game is said to have a similar feature where the Empire will hunt and gun down players for causing mayhem much like Rockstar Games GTA franchise, and Ubisoft shouldn’t stop there.

Rockstar Games Helped Inspire One Feature in Star Wars Outlaws

The law will play an active role in the upcoming Star Wars video game.

The developers placed this upcoming original Star Wars story during the Galactic Civil War and gave the gaming community the rare opportunity to see the Empire through a different pair of lenses. The criminal underworld will be a focal point of Star Wars Outlaws which will most likely involve outlaws and misfits causing problems for the Empire.

Players will have to navigate the deadly galaxy with extreme caution and Ubisoft was inspired by the wanted system of the Grand Theft Auto franchise and toyed with the concept to fit the narrative. Creative director Julian Gerighty shared details of what fans can expect in this project.

“Think the police in Grand Theft Auto,”

Gerighty continued to describe the concept and how Ubisoft transformed it into something else but also familiar.

“If you start being seen doing crimes, that will start getting them to chase you. If you take some of them out, then it gets worse and worse, where they’ll send, at the ultimate level, Death Troopers — and maybe even worse.”

Law enforcement in every GTA game would hunt down the player for behaving inhumanely and the amount of pressure applied will gradually increase the more the player resists. Gerighty described that his project would have the same aggression from Imperial forces and send in Death Troopers to handle players with extreme prejudice.

“A hundred percent”: 1 of Star Wars’ Most Divisive Films was a Huge Inspiration for Star Wars Outlaws and Kay Vess

“A hundred percent”: 1 of Star Wars’ Most Divisive Films was a Huge Inspiration for Star Wars Outlaws and Kay Vess

Another upcoming Ubisoft project is scheduled to be released next year and fans are divided about the rumored time limit. Rockstar Games added time limits for players to accomplish missions and a sense of urgency that not everyone is fond of.

GTA 6 Could Be the Blueprint for Ubisoft Games in the Future

Players should tread carefully against the law enforcement in GTA 6.

Installing time limits can negatively impact a game’s entertainment factor. Ubisoft still has time to reconsider removing or adjusting for Far Cry 7 . Players will feel the need to rush through the game to avoid hitting the limit and will fail to enjoy the game.

Far Cry 7 and Ubisoft Leaker Is Unhappy With PlayStation’s Sequel Tease: “If they announce a sequel when it failed”

Far Cry 7 and Ubisoft Leaker Is Unhappy With PlayStation’s Sequel Tease: “If they announce a sequel when it failed”

Perhaps the developers shouldn’t take everything and bend it to their will. Fans will likely protest and it won’t be pretty for the reception.

Rockstar Games has done plenty to inspire other developers but should encourage colleagues to be original. The concept worked for them and copying will paint a bad picture of Ubisoft for playing safe.

The developers should spice up the gameplay, the upcoming GTA sequel is said to have a new mechanic that will redefine the franchise’s tradition. Ubisoft should not be afraid to make a difference.
