La 10ème édition aura lieu le jeudi 23 mai 2024 dans le Tour CB21 à Paris La Défense. Ce sera l’occasion de fêter le quart de siècle de l’ONG. Nous vous y attendons nombreux !

Une course atypique

Vertigo est la 1ère course verticale et solidaire de France. Seul, entre amis ou avec vos collaborateurs gravissez les 188 mètres, les 42 étages* et 977 marches !

Un afterwork festif

Avant et après l’effort, les coureurs pourront profiter d’un afterwork festif organisé sur le village Vertigo (bassin Takis). Au programme : bar solidaire (boissons, catering), DJ set, activités sportives ludiques (molkky…), activités bien-être (massage…), espaces de networking…

Un événement écoresponsable

PLAY International est signataire de la charte des « 15 engagements écoresponsables des organisateurs d’événements sportifs » rédigée par le Ministère des sports et WWF et dont 41 organisateurs d’événements sont également signataires.

Une opération solidaire

Comme chaque année, l’intégralité de votre participation sera reversée à l’ONG PLAY International pour lui permettre de développer ses programmes d’éducation par le sport en France, au Burundi, aux Comores, au Sénégal et au Kosovo. PLAY International utilise le sport pour répondre à des problématiques variées comme l’égalité filles-garçons, le handicap, le dialogue interethnique, la rescolarisation…

Défiscalisation

Cette course atypique est avant tout 100 % solidaire  : l’intégralité des participations est reversée aux programmes d’éducation par le sport développés par PLAY International qui intervient dans le monde entier auprès d’un demi-million d’enfants depuis 1999.

Chaque don est défiscalisé à hauteur de 60 % pour les entreprises et 66 % pour le grand public. Une fois votre don réalisé, un reçu fiscal vous est envoyé directement.

Exemple : un don de 50 € ne vous coûte réellement que 17 € après réduction fiscale (réduction de 33 € à hauteur de 20% du revenu imposable)

Pour les particuliers, un seul format est proposé : gravir l’intégralité des 42 étages pour arriver au sommet et bénéficier de la vue panoramique sur toute La Défense et Paris.

Pour les entreprises 2 options :

> Vertigo en relais à 4 : 10 étages chacun (sauf le dernier relayeur qui devra en monter 12)

> VertigALL à 4 : 42 étages ensemble

Difficile de la rater ! La Tour CB21 culmine à 188 mètres et  est identifiable par son plan en forme de croix grecque . Cependant quelques conseils d’accès

En voiture : rejoindre le pont de Neuilly, prendre le bd circulaire puis la sortie Défense 1 et suivre Parking Reflets/Iris (entrée véhicules au : 1 Liaison médiane, 92400 Courbevoie).

En transport en commun :

Metro : Ligne 1 arrêt « Esplanade de La Défense » – (suivre la sortie « Quartier Iris »).

Bus: 73/157/158/174/176 arrêt « Pont de Neuilly – Rive gauche »

Les dossards sont à retirer le jour de l’événement sur le village situé sur le bassin Takis, à 2 pas de la Tour CB21. Merci de vous présenter au moins 30 min avant le départ de votre course.

Des consignes et vestiaires gratuits seront à votre disposition.

Dans le cas où vous souhaitez être officiellement chronométré, il faudra fournir en amont un certificat médical datant de moins d’un an portant la mention “non contre-indication à la pratique de la course à pied en compétition”. Il sera conservé sur place par l’organisation.

En cas de retrait par une tierce personne, celle-ci devra fournir votre pièce d’identité.

Avant & après avoir réalisé l’ascension des 188 mètres, rendez-vous sur le village situé à proximité de la tour pour passer un moment convivial.

Au programme: bar solidaire, DJ set, massages, animations sportives ludiques (palets, molkky, pétanques), remise des récompenses, espaces de networking

Que manger la veille et le jour J ?

L’important est de ne pas changer ses habitudes alimentaires. Faites le plein de glucides et sucres lents la veille (pates, riz, etc), sans pour autant en abuser (l’effort à fournir pour VertiGO est intense mais assez court). Le jour de la course, essayez de manger 2 à 3 h avant le départ de votre course. Le repas doit être consistant sans être trop lourd. Évitez surtout de manger trop gras. Privilégiez par exemple les salades de pâtes ou de riz avec une banane (un antioxydant) en dessert. Pensez à bien vous hydrater !

Comment gérer ma course ?

Le plus important est de trouver son rythme de croisière. Rien ne sert de partir à toute vitesse, vous risqueriez de vous épuiser rapidement. N’hésitez pas à alterner des moments de course et de marche. Enfin, servez-vous des rampes d’escalier pour soulager au maximum vos jambes. N’hésitez pas à faire quelques pauses, l’important est d’arriver en haut !

Les petits conseils avant la course :

Arrivez bien en avance, cela vous évitera le stress inutile. Si vous venez en métro, n’hésitez pas à descendre à l’arrêt suivant (arrêt de métro Grande Arche) et rendez-vous sur le départ en trottinant. Si vous en avez le temps, faites quelques exercices de montée/descente de marche pour activer les muscles qui seront sollicités pendant la course. Vous pouvez également faire quelques exercices pour échauffer vos chevilles et des étirements.

Don't park too early, pack a bag or miss the tailgate for Morgan Wallen at Neyland Stadium

Country music superstar Morgan Wallen has two huge Knoxville shows whose tickets came with equally large price tags for the best seats in Neyland Stadium. So, if you shelled out big bucks to see the hometown artist Sept. 20 or 22, you won't want to risk being turned away for being unprepared.

The University of Tennessee at Knoxville expects around 80,000 fans to attend each of the shows, which were added to Wallen's "One Night At A Time" tour in July, one month after Tennessee baseball won the College World Series .

Classes will be in session the day of the first concert Friday, and the university is asking concertgoers not to arrive on campus until after 2 p.m. when parking lots open. A parking pass is required for reserved parking, and we have more information about how to purchase one below.

Here's everything fans attending either concert should know before heading to Neyland Stadium.

Parking on campus for Morgan Wallen concerts in Neyland Stadium

Parking passes are on sale now for both shows , with prices ranging from $20 to $100.

Passes allow concertgoers to park in specific lots on campus . The lots open at 2 p.m. Sept. 20 and again at noon Sept. 22 for the second show. Overnight parking is not allowed.

Public parking on campus will be available on a first-come, first-served basis.

If you're parking on the agriculture campus, a shuttle starting at 3:30 p.m will drop off concertgoers at the Student Union near Gate 21 of Neyland Stadium.

Roads closed for Morgan Wallen concerts at Neyland Stadium

A few roads will be closed, and others will be congested before the concert.

Phillip Fulmer Way will be closed from near Gate 21 to the G10 garage. The road will be closed to southbound traffic at Middle Drive and won't be accessible from Peyton Manning Pass.

People parking in G10 are advised to enter from Neyland Drive and avoid Lake Loudoun Boulevard.

Uber, Lyft information for Morgan Wallen concerts in Neyland Stadium

Concert goers using Uber or Lyft will be dropped off for the concert at Volunteer Boulevard East in front of the Claxton Education Building . This is near John C. Hodges Library, the Haslam College of Business and the Student Union. Just head east down the hill, and Neyland Stadium quickly will come into view.

If you're relying on Uber or Lyft after the concert, you'll need to head to Circle Drive on the Hill for pickup. Police will be controlling vehicle access to the pickup area.

Ticket apps for Morgan Wallen concerts in Neyland Stadium

Ticket holders in the general bowl will access their digital tickets through the  Ticketmaster app . Premium ticket holders will access their digital tickets through the Tennessee Athletics app, which is available to download on the Apple  App Store  or  Google Play .

Field-level ticket holders will enter through Gate 7, and pit ticket holders will enter through Gate 25.

The corresponding gate for premium ticket holders will be listed on digital tickets, while general bowl ticket holders can enter through nonpremium gates.

Gates open at 4:30 p.m., and the show starts at 6:30 p.m. each night.

Tickets still available for Morgan Wallen concerts in Neyland Stadium

Ticketmaster still has tickets for both Wallen shows . That includes standard admission, VIP packages and verified resale tickets.

Ticketing platforms  StubHub ,  SeatGeek  and  Vivid Seats  also have tickets for the Knoxville shows but indicate they are “selling fast."

Opening acts for Morgan Wallen concerts in Neyland Stadium

ERNEST and HARDY will open for Morgan Wallen both nights.

Both artists, along with Wallen, collaborated on Post Malone's new country album. Unfortunately, Post Malone is not listed as an opener for the Knoxville shows.

Alcohol sales for Morgan Wallen concerts in Neyland Stadium

Fans can purchase alcohol in Neyland Stadium for the concerts but cannot bring in their own drinks.

The same beers available on game days will be sold at the concerts, with prices ranging from $10 to $16:

• Coors Light
• Miller Light
• Twisted Tea
• SweetWater Hazy IPA
• Bud Light Seltzer
• Michelob Ultra

All IDs will be scanned regardless of age. Red box IDs, which indicate when a person turns 21, will not be accepted.

Clear bag and other Neyland Stadium policies for Morgan Wallen

The clear bag policy will be in effect , meaning fans can only bring in a clear bag that is no bigger than 12x6x12 inches or a small small clutch purse that is no bigger than 4.5x6.5 inches.

Fans can bring in one unopened, factory-sealed water bottle or an empty clear water bottle.

Smoking, including e-cigarettes and vapes, is prohibited.

Neyland Stadium prohibits the following items:

• Artificial noisemakers
• Open umbrellas
• Outside food and beverages (unless medically necessary)
• Radios without headphones
• Video cameras, professional cameras and cameras with detachable lenses
• Unmanned aircraft systems
• Stadium seats with arms or side pockets
• Selfie sticks
• Weapons of any kind, including pocket knives

No items can be stored or left at the gates.

Fans are allowed to bring in these items after being searched:

• Cushions or seats without arms or side pockets
• Small cameras, binoculars and cell phones
• Small bags with medically necessary items

Pre-concert tailgate for Morgan Wallen at Neyland Stadium

The Volunteer Club will host a tailgate at 3 p.m. at the Humanities Plaza. Tickets to the tailgate cost $100 and include a DJ, open cocktail bar, food and Morgan Wallen-themed photo booth. For more information, check out the "events" tab at thevolunteerclub.com.
