This was such a great show!! I would definitely see him live again.

-great light display/props/theatrics

-he sang music from all his albums which was well appreciated!

-Abel took a longgg time to get on stage, we were there for almost two hours before he did

This review might not be completely objective as Abel has been my favourite singer for a few years now. However, I can definitely admit the Starboy tour date in Paris was the best pop concert I've been to this year. Even though some songs could have been put out of the tracklist, he mostly sang his catchiest songs of his career, no matter the era. He has great, or should I say, tremendous energy as he continuously sang twenty-something songs with no pause in between. He has no trouble reaching high notes live, his voice sounding even more heavenly in real life. That night, he invited Travis Scott on stage who pumped up the crowd more than him, which is a shame and showcases very well his lack of success and recognition in France, yet, in a sold out stadium. Most people actually didn't even know his real name or the lyrics of his songs ! I would recommend any "real fan" who has known him for a while or who likes his last album a lot to go to a Starboy tour date. I promise you, you won't regret it.

The concert was absolutely stunning. A starship was used and the lights were coordinated very well. Abel sang amazingly in person and I loved jumping up and down screaming with other members of the audience while he sang. The concert was truly magical and I enjoyed every second Abel stood on stage.

As for the other singers who appeared on stage, I was very satisfied with their singing as well. They did an amazing job and captured the entire audience. In between Abel's music, the other singers such as Lil Uzi and 6lack played their hits on stage and the whole crowd became even more alive. If I the concert played out any other way, I'm sure I wouldn't have enjoyed it as much as this concert.

The Weeknd comes to AT&T Stadium on Sunday, August 14th as part of the 2022 After Hours Til Dawn Tour.

This 2022 tour marks the first time The Weeknd will be touring his mammoth album After Hours (it’s hit single “Blinding Lights” was named the new No. 1 Billboard Hot 100 song of all time, surpassing Chubby Checker’s 1960 hit “The Twist” ) as well as the recently released and highly critically acclaimed album DAWN FM .

The tour will see his most ambitious production to date reflecting the creative journey that continues to unfold for both these albums, creating worlds within worlds as we have all been watching unfold in various television performances, music videos and short films bringing these first two pieces of his trilogy to life.

The Weeknd Announces 2022 North American Tour

The Weeknd has announced a 2022 tour in support of his most recent albums, Dawn FM and 2020’s After Hours . The first leg of the trek will see him perform concerts in stadia across the United States and Canada. The tour will feature special guest Doja Cat . According to a press release, there will be more concerts in Mexico, South America, Asia, Australia, New Zealand, Europe, Africa, and the Middle East announced soon. The Weeknd has also partnered with the United Nations World Food Programme (WFP) to launch the XO Humanitarian Fund, Powered by World Food Programme. The fund works toward ending the global hunger crisis. The Weeknd has donated $500,000 to the fund, according to a press release, and plans to contribute an additional $1 from each tour ticket sold. “The goal with this fund is to provide immediate life-saving support to people who are on the brink of starvation,” the Weeknd said in a statement. “I’m so thankful to have WFP as a partner and to further expand our reach to those who need it most.”

Last year, the Weeknd postponed his tour for the third time due to the pandemic . When explaining his reasons for doing so, the Weeknd promised the new version of the tour would be “something bigger and special for you which requires stadiums.”

After announcing the end of his After Hours era with “ Take My Breath ” last summer, the Weeknd revealed Dawn FM just a few days before its arrival last month. Swedish House Mafia remixed “ Sacrifice ” for an “Alternate World” edition of the project, which also included the joint track “ Moth to a Flame ” and Agents of Time’s remix of “Take My Breath.”

The Weeknd has been a busy collaborator in recent months, as well, appearing on new tracks with FKA twigs , Post Malone , and Rosalía , plus a posthumous release from Aaliyah . He unveiled his new immersive television special, The Weeknd x The Dawn FM Experience , through Prime Video in February

The After Hours Til Dawn stadium tour will kick off up north in The Weeknd’s hometown of Toronto on Friday, July 8th at the Rogers Centre, with stops at iconic U.S. stadiums including Levi’s ® Stadium in Santa Clara, California on Saturday, August 27th, and more, before wrapping Friday, September 2nd at SoFi Stadium in Los Angeles, California. The tour is produced by Live Nation. This is the first leg of The Weeknd’s massive world tour, with additional dates in Mexico, South America, Asia, Australia, New Zealand, Europe, Africa & Middle East to be announced soon.

Tickets for the North American dates go on sale beginning Thursday, March 10 th at 10am local time via TheWeeknd.com/tour .

All guests must be in possession of a valid event ticket, pass or credential to park in a designated parking lot. Please download prepaid parking passes ahead of time and add them to your mobile wallet for an expedited parking process. Day of parking will be available on a limited basis. Credit card payment only.

Accessible Parking Mobility Services will be onsite at 3:30pm to provide roving carts from the mobility kiosks in Red Lot 1.

Bicycle Parking Bicycle parking will be located outside Dignity Health Gate C and opens at 4:30pm.

Buses/Oversized Vehicles Buses/oversized vehicles must park in Blue RV and contact the Visa Box Office at 408-579-4449 to purchase parking in advance.

Tailgating Tailgating is not permitted for this event.

• All guests ages 2 and above must have an event ticket to enter the stadium.
• Add your tickets and parking passes into Apple Wallet or G Pay to expedite entry at parking an stadium gates.
• There is no re-entry after admittance.
• Guests should have their tickets ready to scan upon approaching the stadium entry gates.
• The ticket barcode must be visible no matter the ticket type.
• The Visa Box Office opens at 4:30pm and is located at the north end of the stadium inside Toyota Gate F. Walk-up tickets may also be available at the Visa Box Office.
• Tickets will not be emailed or available to print. Your mobile ticket must be displayed on your phone to get into the event. 

Bag check services are no longer available . Only bags that comply with Levi’s® Stadium Clear Bag Policy will be allowed.

Levi’s® Stadium prohibits all bags, backpacks and other carriers from being brought into the stadium with the following exceptions:

Valley Transportation Authority (VTA)

VTA will operate increased train service from Mountain View station (Caltrain transfer) and Milpitas station (BART transfer) two hours prior to event start. Post-event service will run for approximately 60 minutes post-event. For more information, please visit www.vta.org .

Guests heading to the concert can get off at the Mountain View station and transfer to VTA light rail service to Levi’s Stadium. Post-event, Caltrain will operate regular weekday schedule – the last northbound trains will depart Mountain View at 11:33pm and the last southbound train departs 1:18am. For more information, please visit the game service page at www.caltrain.com .

Bay Area Rapid Transit (BART)

BART will operate regular weekday schedule and offer one special event train post-concert. The last train northbound will depart at 11:52pm to Pleasant Hill station via Oakland; and the last train southbound will depart at 1:50am. For more information, please visit www.bart.gov .

Pre-Event Drop-off Area

Levi’s Stadium will offer a dedicated drop-off location for the concert off in the main parking lot off Great America Parkway. Please refer to the drop-off map for more information.

Post Event Pick-up/Rideshare

The pick-up zone at Levi’s® Stadium is in Red Lot 7. Follow staff & signage direction for additional direction.

Capitol Corridor

Capitol Corridor will operate regular weekend schedule southbound to Santa Clara. For more information, please visit www.capitolcorridor.org .

The rideshare drop-off location at Levi’s® Stadium for this event will be on Great America Parkway, between Tasman Drive and Old Glory Lane. The pick-up zone is located in Red Lot 7. Follow signage and staff instructions for additional direction.

All accessible parking will be directed to Red Lot 1. Guests who possess a valid placard will be directed to park in this lot and must display their placard at the entrance to be admitted.

Levi’s® Stadium takes pride in providing elite service to all guests including those requiring mobility assistance. We provide a variety of services for our guests with special needs. Included in these services are courtesy shuttle buses from selected parking lots, golf cart shuttles in the Main lot, and Guest Services representatives to provide wheelchair service if requested. The Weeknd announces Wembley Stadium show in 2023

THE WEEKND ANNOUNCES WEMBLEY STADIUM DATE FOR THE AFTER HOURS TIL DAWN 2023 STADIUM TOUR

Today, The Weeknd has announced a special end-of-summer show at Wembley Stadium for his highly anticipated After Hours t il Dawn 2023 tour. This latest date is scheduled for Friday, August 18 th 2023 and will be a night to celebrate this incredible 29-date stadium tour run. Tickets for this additional date will go on sale starting Friday, December 16th at 12pm local time. All tickets and additional info will be available at TheWeeknd.com/tour .

All disabled access tickets will be sold by Wembley Stadium, and the phonelines will open at the same time as the rest of the onsale. Please note, all tickets are subject to availability.

Wembley Stadium is a public transport destination. Rail, tube, bus and pedestrian routes have been upgraded to enable visitors to travel to and from the stadium smoothly and safely on major event days. After Hours Indeed

The weeknd finally returns to dallas-fort worth with 2022 stadium tour.

After a two-year wait, fans of The Weeknd will finally get to see him perform live and in person when he comes to AT&T Stadium in Arlington on August 14 as part of his "After Hours Til Dawn" stadium tour.

The unique singer-songwriter was supposed to play shows in both Dallas and Fort Worth in 2020 as part of his "After Hours" tour, shows that were then rescheduled to 2021 due to the COVID-19 pandemic. But that year delay led The Weeknd to rethink his tour plans, and he scrapped his 2021 dates in favor of something bigger, the result of which is this tour.

The first leg of the tour will take place almost exclusively in football stadiums, save for the kickoff in The Weeknd’s hometown of Toronto on July 8 at the Rogers Centre. After visiting 18 cities in North America, he will announce a second leg of the tour that will take him to Mexico, South America, Asia, Australia, New Zealand, Europe, Africa, and the Middle East.

The Weeknd hasn't forgotten those who purchased tickets to his canceled 2021 dates. Fans who previously had tickets for the "After Hours" arena tour in North America will have access to a special presale starting March 4; they will receive an email prior to that date directly with more information.

The 2022 tour marks the first time The Weeknd will be touring in support of his 2020 album, After Hours , which featured the hit single, “Blinding Lights.” In the ensuing two years, he had time to make and release a whole new album, DAWN FM , which came out in January.

The tour will feature his most ambitious production to date, reflecting the creative journey that continues to unfold for both these albums, which it turns out are the first two pieces of a planned trilogy of albums.

Tickets for the Arlington date will go on sale Thursday, March 10 at 10 am via TheWeeknd.com/tour . Verizon will offer an exclusive presale through its customer loyalty program, Verizon Up, for select shows, running March 7 at 10 am through March 9 at 10 pm. There will also be a Spotify Fans First presale for the top streamers of The Weeknd starting March 8, as well as Live Nation presales in all markets.

In a partnership with the United Nations World Food Programme, the world’s largest humanitarian organization fighting global hunger, The Weeknd will donate $1 of each ticket sold to the new XO Humanitarian Fund. He will also make a donation of $500,000, and $1 million will be contributed by World Food Program USA to the fund.

Movie review, lily gladstone stars in modern-day native american film fancy dance.

Movies focused on Native Americans are in too short supply, and those that do get made tend to focus on the sins of the past, not the realities of modern-day life for them. After getting an Oscar nomination for one of those former types of stories in Killers of the Flower Moon , actor Lily Gladstone is back with a latter type in Fancy Dance .

Gladstone plays Jax Goodiron (Lily Gladstone), who lives on the Seneca-Cayuga reservation in Oklahoma with her niece, Roki (Isabel Deroy-Wilson). Tawi, Roki’s mother and Jax’s sister, has gone missing, leaving Jax to take care of Roki as best she can. As we soon see, though, that care involves lots of scamming and stealing, an unsavory way of surviving that is unfortunately part of their reality.

Tawi’s disappearance and Jax being deemed an unfit guardian causes Child Protective Services to place Roki with her white grandfather, Frank (Shea Whigham), and his wife, Nancy (Audrey Wasilewski). Knowing how important it is for Roki to attend the tribe’s annual powwow, where she has danced with her mother several times before, Jax sneaks her out of Frank’s house. However, Jax’s determination to find out what happened to Tawi, as well the authorities issuing an Amber Alert for Roki, makes their journey extra difficult.

Written and directed by Erica Tremblay (a member of the Seneca-Cayuga tribe herself), and co-written by Miciana Alise, the film does a solid job of showing the challenges Jax and others like her face in the world without making the story overly maudlin. Jax is shown to be a hustler from the very first scene in the film, and the fact that she ropes Roki into her schemes makes the crimes they commit difficult to swallow for viewers.

But each of the misdeeds is in service of helping their goals, and are also weighed against the trauma they are experiencing with Tawi’s disappearance. Tremblay has a subtle touch when it comes to the larger topic of missing Native women not being a priority for law enforcement. She makes the shameful idea a constant part of the film without pressing so hard that the outrage turns into a sermon.

Even though the film contains a very specific story, the experience of the various family members is universal enough to keep it from being siloed off from the rest of the world. Nearly everyone can relate to the bond Jax and Roki share, the pain of losing a loved one, or the frustration of a parent not living up to expectations. If anything, the details of being part of the Seneca-Cayuga tribe make those elements even more powerful.

While Gladstone was worthy of her Oscar nomination for Killers of the Flower Moon , the character she played was often hard to read. Although she’s not very expressive in this role, she brings all the requisite emotions out of the character, giving her a lot of depth. Deroy-Olson, who resembles a young Natalie Portman, gives a lived-in performance despite her relative lack of acting experience. Whigham, Wasilewski, and Ryan Begay as JJ, a tribal police officer, also bring a lot to their supporting roles.

Streaming channels like Apple TV+ have been part of the decline in attendance at movie theaters, but the big positive they have brought is the ability for films like Fancy Dance to find a wider audience than they might otherwise. It also gives fine actors like Gladstone and Deroy-Olson more opportunities to showcase their talents, hopefully leading to even more roles in the future.

Fancy Dance is now playing in select theaters and streaming on Apple TV+.

Savvino-storozhevsky monastery and museum.

Zvenigorod's most famous sight is the Savvino-Storozhevsky Monastery, which was founded in 1398 by the monk Savva from the Troitse-Sergieva Lavra, at the invitation and with the support of Prince Yury Dmitrievich of Zvenigorod. Savva was later canonised as St Sabbas (Savva) of Storozhev. The monastery late flourished under the reign of Tsar Alexis, who chose the monastery as his family church and often went on pilgrimage there and made lots of donations to it. Most of the monastery’s buildings date from this time. The monastery is heavily fortified with thick walls and six towers, the most impressive of which is the Krasny Tower which also serves as the eastern entrance. The monastery was closed in 1918 and only reopened in 1995. In 1998 Patriarch Alexius II took part in a service to return the relics of St Sabbas to the monastery. Today the monastery has the status of a stauropegic monastery, which is second in status to a lavra. In addition to being a working monastery, it also holds the Zvenigorod Historical, Architectural and Art Museum.

Belfry and Neighbouring Churches

Located near the main entrance is the monastery's belfry which is perhaps the calling card of the monastery due to its uniqueness. It was built in the 1650s and the St Sergius of Radonezh’s Church was opened on the middle tier in the mid-17th century, although it was originally dedicated to the Trinity. The belfry's 35-tonne Great Bladgovestny Bell fell in 1941 and was only restored and returned in 2003. Attached to the belfry is a large refectory and the Transfiguration Church, both of which were built on the orders of Tsar Alexis in the 1650s.  

To the left of the belfry is another, smaller, refectory which is attached to the Trinity Gate-Church, which was also constructed in the 1650s on the orders of Tsar Alexis who made it his own family church. The church is elaborately decorated with colourful trims and underneath the archway is a beautiful 19th century fresco.

Nativity of Virgin Mary Cathedral

The Nativity of Virgin Mary Cathedral is the oldest building in the monastery and among the oldest buildings in the Moscow Region. It was built between 1404 and 1405 during the lifetime of St Sabbas and using the funds of Prince Yury of Zvenigorod. The white-stone cathedral is a standard four-pillar design with a single golden dome. After the death of St Sabbas he was interred in the cathedral and a new altar dedicated to him was added.

Under the reign of Tsar Alexis the cathedral was decorated with frescoes by Stepan Ryazanets, some of which remain today. Tsar Alexis also presented the cathedral with a five-tier iconostasis, the top row of icons have been preserved.

Tsaritsa's Chambers

The Nativity of Virgin Mary Cathedral is located between the Tsaritsa's Chambers of the left and the Palace of Tsar Alexis on the right. The Tsaritsa's Chambers were built in the mid-17th century for the wife of Tsar Alexey - Tsaritsa Maria Ilinichna Miloskavskaya. The design of the building is influenced by the ancient Russian architectural style. Is prettier than the Tsar's chambers opposite, being red in colour with elaborately decorated window frames and entrance.

At present the Tsaritsa's Chambers houses the Zvenigorod Historical, Architectural and Art Museum. Among its displays is an accurate recreation of the interior of a noble lady's chambers including furniture, decorations and a decorated tiled oven, and an exhibition on the history of Zvenigorod and the monastery.

Palace of Tsar Alexis

The Palace of Tsar Alexis was built in the 1650s and is now one of the best surviving examples of non-religious architecture of that era. It was built especially for Tsar Alexis who often visited the monastery on religious pilgrimages. Its most striking feature is its pretty row of nine chimney spouts which resemble towers.
