But in season dates, the rates are 10-25% higher. The high season dates from in November to December, and all national holidays.

The answer is in the name, 12 guests in 12 seater, 16 in 16 seater and 19 in 19 seater. Basically there are only 2 company size, one is 12+1 and 2nd is 19+1.

The 16 seater is 12 seater temp model with a back sofa seat and Maharaja is the same model were we have removed company eats and added comfortable sofa seats.

3.Does these tempo travellers have AC & are they comfortable?

All tempo traveller comes with company fitted AC, so there is no non-ac tempo model. Though if your trips is on the mountains, then the driver will close the AC.

Comfort level level in Maharaja tempo traveller is the best as you are sitting on sofa seats, else the original company installed seats are comfortable too.

4. What are the extra expenses I need to pay apart from tempo traveller fare?

First there is the driver allowance which is Rs 400-500 per day. Then there are the government taxes (Toll tax and state tax) and finally the parking charges.

This includes a visit to the World Heritage Site of Humayun’s Tomb, the first substantial example of Mughal architecture in India. Built in the mid-1600s, the historic Red Fort was commissioned by Emperor Shah Jahan and designed by Ustad Ahmad Lahor, the same man who created the Taj Mahal. Its red sandstone buildings are spread over 255 acres, an architectural wonder worthy of its UNESCO World Heritage designation. The incredible monuments of Mehrauli Archaeological Park, more than 400 of them, reach from the 10th century to the British era, its tombs and mosques peppered throughout a forest within the city. Jantar Mantar is an astrological observatory built in 1725, its park contains geometric buildings that monitor the movement of the stars. The marble and red sandstone Jama Masjid, the city’s largest mosque, can hold an astonishing 25,000 people. Humayun’s Tomb and gardens predate the Taj Mahal by 60 years, and India Gate commemorates soldiers who fell during the First World War.

Air India international passengers can now avail check-in & baggage drop service at select Delhi metro stations 

Air India has collaborated with Delhi Metro Rail Corporation (DMRC) and Delhi International Airport (DIAL) to facilitate check-in for international travellers at two metro stations in Delhi – New Delhi and Shivaji Stadium. The Delhi Airport Check-in & Baggage Drop facility allows passengers to check in their baggage at the metro station, giving the outstation travellers the option to explore the city baggage-free. Meanwhile their baggage gets securely loaded onto the aircraft through an advanced automated infrastructure created by DMRC & DIAL. 

Currently available for domestic journeys, this service will now be extended to international travellers and will remain operational at the two metro stations from 0700 hrs to 2100 hrs. The check-in can be done between 12 hours and 2 hours prior to flight departure for domestic itineraries and between 4 hours to 2 hours for international schedules. 

“Our partnership with DMRC & DIAL stands testament to our commitment to offering passengers an enhanced and seamless travel experience. This initiative not only provides a cost-effective option for travellers coming from distant locations but also helps control congestion at the airport, leading to a better experience for all our customers. Further to the technology interventions partnered and implemented by Air India & DIAL, such as DigiYatra, Self-Baggage Drop machines at airport terminals, this initiative will significantly enhance the convenience and satisfaction of our customers, said R ajesh Dogra, Chief Customer Experience Officer, Air India. 

The frequency of the metro is every 10 minutes, and it takes 19 minutes to reach the departure level at Delhi Airport Terminal 3, making the journey of each traveller faster and hassle-free.

At present, Pune International Airport has only one terminal operating for both military and commercial purposes. 

Expansion and development planning

An increase in passenger traffic raises a demand for the renovation of the exciting terminal and the construction of a new terminal to meet the overcrowding of passenger traffic, and increase the number of plane operations and connectivity to more destinations.

The new terminal has recently been inaugurated and will be brought into public use soon, its size is twice the size of the original operating terminal and will make the entire airport landscape 74300 sq/m. The planning of this expansion includes 72 checked-in counters and 10 aerobridges that will take up an area of 50000sq/m.

This new terminal building is an investment of Rs 475000 crores, and a multilevel car parking lot is worth an investment of Rs 120 crores and includes a new cargo complex worth an investment of Rs 300 crores. 

The construction is finally concluded with only a few checkups in action. It is situated on the eastern side of the current operating terminal. 

The new terminal also showcases the richness of Maharashtrian cultural heritage inscribed on the walls and incorporates centerpieces and walls as cultural showcases spaces.  

Lounge luxury

It is a myth to believe that lounge service at the airport is a luxury one can skip solely because it may create a hole in your budget. It is better to arrive earlier and have an ample amount of time to kill at the airport than to come with a racing heart to meet an uncertain fate by arriving late if you can get access to the lounge service provided by airports including here.

Air India, Delhi Metro offer baggage drop services for international travellers

Air India has introduced check-in and baggage drop services at two stations of the Delhi Metro for international passengers. The facility has been launched for passengers at the New Delhi and Shivaji Stadium metro stations in collaboration with Delhi Metro Rail Corporation (DMRC) and Delhi International Airport (DIAL). With this, foreign travellers will be able to easily tour Delhi without being burdened by their heavy bags. Their bags will reach the aircraft through a modern system jointly developed by DMRC and DIAL. The service is currently available to passengers on domestic journeys. Air India has now also made it available to foreign passengers. This service is available at the New Delhi and Shivaji Stadium metro stations from 7 am to 9 pm. Domestic passengers can check in from two hours to 12 hours before departure and international travellers from two hours to four hours before departure. Delhi Metro, which has a metro train service every ten minutes, takes only 19 minutes to reach Terminal 3 of the Delhi Airport. 

Rajesh Dogra, Chief Customer Experience Officer, Air India said, "Our collaboration with DMRC and DIAL will help provide a better travel experience to the passengers. Such facilities can cut the expenses for passengers and reduce congestion at the airport. The new service will be helpful to passengers just like DG Yatra and self baggage drop machines at airport terminals”.  Air India was founded by JRD Tata. Air India has been part of the journey of Indians to different parts of the world since its maiden flight that took off on October 15, 1932. Air India has flights to many parts of the world such as America, Canada, the United Kingdom, Europe, West Asia, South East Asia and Australia. Air India and Air India Express were handed back to the Tata Group in January 2022 after 69 years of the government takeover.  The Tata Group is taking over Air India in five phases. The Tata Group has announced that it aims to transform Air India into a world-class airline with an Indian heart. The first phase focuses on the basics. These include restarting services that have been stopped for a long time, making changes in technology and offering more services to passengers.
