The Boat - GreatDay!

GreatDay! is a 24' Hurricane SunDeck boat that has plenty of room and comfort for you to enjoy the day.  We offer a large bimini top for shade and an open bow for the sun worshipper.  The boat is equipped with a cooler with cold bottled water and ice for you to keep your personal drinks and food cold. 

We lovingly refer to GreatDay! as a floating couch, or a minivan on the water. She is very stable and comfortable with plenty of room for up to 6 passengers plus our captains.

We offer sunset tours, dolphin tours, wildlife tours, sightseeing tours, eco tours, tiki bar tours, boat tours, and private tours.

Weather conditions to be determined the morning of the charter, with full refund if we cancel due to dangerous weather. Please understand the reason for our cancellation policy: Within 48 hours prior to your charter, we will not likely re-book the date you had chosen, your food/drink purchases have already been made, and we owe the captain/mate at least a portion of their lost wages. Our 22' Saltwater Series Pontoon features 28.5" dia. pontoons and enhanced structural support for the deck. This combination easily provides a comfortable and stable ride in the Gulf of Mexico, the Intracoastal or any of our local backwaters. 

Most local cruises are $95 per hour.

This rate includes passage for up to 6 people. 

Easy Cruisin' charters are completely customizable which means cruises are avaialable any time day or night (weather permitting).

Your Adventure starts here! Suncoast Adventure Tours & Charters offers a variety of dolphin tours, sunset tours and sightseeing tours, charters and services. When planning your day with us we provide an ice chest and bottled water. Feel free to bring your own ice chest, food, snacks and drinks. For our half and full day tours we are happy to provide snorkel gear. 

All of our tours and charters are private for you and your party of 6 passengers or fewer. 

Need something else to make your day perfect? Just let us know and we will do our best to make make it happen for you.

Suncoast Adventure Tours is conveniently located 15 minutes south of The Village in Siesta Key and 10 minutes north of downtown Venice.

Osprey Harbor Club Marina – Located at 582 Blackburn Point Rd, Osprey, FL 34229. There is a Bait Shop at the end of the parking lot and the marina building is just across from it. Our Captain will meet you just under the blue awning across from the bait shop. Our boat is just down the steps, next to the Bait and Tackle shop.

We love the Ocean and we love showing our customers the wonders of nature through our tours. Whether you come for the snorkeling, shelling, or just to relax on the pristine white sand beaches, you’re sure to be wowed by our adventures.

Captain Mike

• Capt. Mike has been sailing on the waters of Florida’s Gulf Coast since he was a teenager. He credits his father for his love of the ocean. He remembers many a day spent out on the water with fishing poles in hand. “We fished every bridge from Miami to Key West”, recalls Capt. Mike. He has been living in the Tampa Bay area for over 30 years and knows the area waters well. Capt. Mike loves working with Island Boat Adventures. “Everyday is a new experience and a new chance show our guests the best adventure of their vacation!” Capt. Mike is thankful to live in the paradise of the Gulf Waters.

Captain Betty

Capt. Betty was born and raised in Florida. She grew up in the Florida Keys snorkeling for lobster and fishing for anything that was in season. She spent many days at sea with her family, as her father was a commercial fisherman. She loves being a part of the family at Island Boat Adventures. “We all work together to make sure our guests have a great time on board with us. We all love being out there on the Gulf and we are excited to share a fantastic experience with our guests”, says Capt. Betty. Capt. Betty handles the day to day operations at Island Boat Adventures, from answering the phones to scheduling trips. She is always available to answer any questions our guests have about the trips or the make their reservations.

Captain Tanner

I love the water and have 30 plus years of boating experience. Most days you can find me on a boat or at the beach-whether I’m working or playing! I enjoy meeting new people and helping them share in my love of the ocean. Before becoming a team member of Island Boat Adventure, I spent time aboard a 45ft sailboat taking in the beautiful waters of west Florida from St. Pete to the dry tortugas to key west.
