First day of the journey when we Departed from Chandigarh tu mcleodganj however over cab driver was an aware that where are we going to he had to ask me about our trip plan as he was not informed about our plan. when we reached to mcleodganj the hotel was very nice however the manager of the hotel asked me several times to pay him however he was supposed to get payment from our travel agent this thing really bothered me as I was travelling with my family. the next day we started over trip from mcleodganj to Dalhousie and our hotel was in banikhet which is almost 5 kilometres before Dalhousie. I was provided two rooms in the hotel named greenview, as per the trip plan but the hotel was under construction and there was not any single room furnished however I was given another room in the nearby hotel Grand Dalhousie. the rooms that were provided to us were good but the bad thing was that that just below the room there was a big Nala from there lot of foul smell was continuously coming to our rooms. And the worst thing of the trip planning was that the driver from second day onwards asked me for payment directly to him. He was supposed to start his journey from the early in the morning however on the third day he stated that without getting payment he won't go to khajjiar and forced me to talk to his boss and to travel agent and other superiors to settle this matter. All this all this poor management of the trip planner who you didn't pay to the driver wasted my valuable moments of the short period trip to Himachal. I was acting as an agent between driver his Bose travelling agent and the travel triangle. only for this purpose I didn't book directly on my own so that I can escape from all this management so I didn't knew that why did I book my holiday trip from travel triangle when I have to do all these messy things. And where are those welcome drinks is the trip plan you have provided me. And just I am just to say that there are very less chances that you will get what is written in your trip plan so better book on your own but for that at you should pre plan your holiday trip. The local peoples of Himachal Pradesh are very helpful. The most memorable moment of my trip is to be at khajjiar and enjoying the sunny and slightly cold weather.

Hotel provided at shimla is barowalia resort, which is a pathetic hotel. initially was promised to give Pahuna resort, but later changed. Itenary provided in the list cannot be completed due to not so super planning, only 60% places can be covered.. Driver is a good person and he is a good gentle man. after so much of complaints got a better hotel in Manali Varsha Inn a very good hotel thanks to Mrs. Sharma, but the itenary in manali should be planned for 2 days, 1 day is not sufficient, this has to be told to the customer, if customer is having budget problems cover only important places. Because of this creating unnecessary rift between customer and driver, luckily not happened in my case. Neelam is very helpful in co-ordinating things, but as an agency lot to improve.

Day wise Itinerary

Day 1 : Pathankot to Dalhousie ( 110 Kms, 3 Hrs )

Pickup from Chandigarh / Pathankot, Transfer to Dalhousie By Road . Dalhousie : is a beautiful, quiet and peaceful small town of North India, famous among the honeymooners. Away from the maddening crowds of plains, Dalhousie is surrounded with attractive cottages, villas, sky touching deodar and pine trees and evergreen ornamental shrubs that makes it one of the most preferred tourists destination in Himachal Pradesh. on arrival at Dalhousie ,check in to hotel. Evening free for leisure. overnight stay at hotel at Dalhousie. Meals : breakfast and Dinner

Day 2 : Dalhousie

After breakfast visit to scenic walk to the Satdhara (seven springs) said to contain mica and medicinal properties (4 kms/1 hr) ,Martyr’s memorial at Panchpula (five bridges), , and Shubhash Baoli,later back to hotel, evening enjoy at mall road. overnight stay at hotel at Dalhousie. Day 3 : Dalhousie - Khajjair (22 Kms, 1 Hrs)

After breakfast check out from hotel then drive to khajjair by road, Khajjiar: is the mini Switzerland of India i.e. Khajjiar, at a height of 6400 ft. Hutchison writes, "Khajjiar is a forest glade of great beauty, 6400 feet above sea level". Enroute visit Dain Kund, Khajjiar Sanctuary - Gandhi Chowk - Khajinag Temple. Arrive at khajjiar,check in to hotel, Rest of the day free for leisure. Night stay at hotel at Khajjiar. Meals : breakfast and Dinner

Day 4 : Khajjair - Dharmshala (220 Kms, 6 Hrs)

After breakfast check out from hotel then drive to Dharmshala Dharamshala : This is a hill station lying on the spur of the Dhauladhar range about 17 kms north- east of Kangra town. This hill station is wooded with oak and conifer trees and snow capped mountains enfold three sides of the town while the valley stretches in front. The snowline is perhaps more easily accessible at Dharamshala than at any other hill resort and it is possible to make a day's trek to a snow-point after an early morning's start. Dharamshala is also the headquarter of the Kangra district. Arrive at Dharamshala,check in to hotel, Rest of the day free for leisure . overnight stay at hotel in Dharamshala. • All foreign nationals must share their passport and visa details at the time of booking, and also upon arrival.

• The prices may vary based on the season time and the number of travellers travelling per day in a specific region as there is limited hotel availability in hilly areas.
• Any deviation from the planned route of vehicle at customer's request during the tour will be chargeable on per Km. basis.

• Personal expenses like portages, tips, laundry, mineral water etc. will not be accommodated in the package cost.

• In case a traveler wants to or decides to leave the trip in the middle, all the expenses from that point onwards will be borne by the traveler. Neither the operator nor Thrillophilia will be held responsible for such decisions or for any refund.

• The driver might turn off the AC on hilly terrains as it might become difficult to drive on such roads.
• Rescheduling Policy for Private (Standard & Deluxe Package) & Group Bookings: 1) If rescheduling is made 7 days after the Booking Date till 15 days prior to the Date of Travel then 30.0% of the total tour cost will be charged as rescheduling fees. | 2) If rescheduling is made 0 days to 15 days before the Date of Travel then 100.0% of the total tour cost will be charged as cancellation fees. | 3) If bookings are made 15 days before the Date of Travel no rescheduling & modifications will be made.
• Rescheduling Policy for Private (Super Deluxe) & Hotel Specific Bookings: No modification or Rescheduling will be catered. A standard cancellation policy will be applicable for such cases.

I can say this is the best one experience among other tours. Tour Manager is AKSHAY MAYEKAR AND PRANESH SAWANT very professional and nice guys . Tours has been well organized by him. We had a great time in all the 3 places.The itinerary was well planned and all the major tourist spots were covered.Also some extra sight seeing attractions such as Kala top walk,Norbulingka monastery ,Laxminarayan temple and Kangra museum to mention a few were covered and were really beautiful. All the hotels were very comfortable and the staff was friendly and always ready to help.Breakfast ,lunch and dinner menu was quite well thought of and enjoyed by all age groups. Our tour manager Mr.Akshay Dhuri was really well versed with the entire terrain and very efficiently and meticulously planned the entire trip even when we had one day less.He took care of every little need to the last detail and ensured that we have maximum comfort and fun in the entire trip.Last but not the least we had the most comfortable ride in the mountainous and hilly regions in our Innova with the most patient ,ever smiling and extremely experienced driver ,Mr Narendra without whom this entire trip wouldn't have been as smooth as it was.

It was really amazing travelling with Veena world 🌎 It was truly a serene experience and we had a great time .

Itinerary (Day Wise)

Amritsar – dalhousie (2 nights).

Tour guests will arrive at Amritsar Airport as per their scheduled flight. Upon arrival they will meet Veena World tour manager at the airport and proceed to Dalhousie – tiny tinsel town spread across five hills near the Dhaulandhar mountain range. Joining and Leaving (J&L) tour guests will join the group on their own. The transfer charges to reach the designated place or hotel will be borne by the (J&L) guests. Upon arrival, we have some free time to relax. In the evening we have a short Meet and Greet session.

Dalhousie – Khajjiar – Chamba – Dalhousie

Today we proceed to Khajjiar – also known as Mini Switzerland filled with natural beauty and picturesque landscapes. Those who are with adventure spirit can experience thrilling activities like Paragliding, Zorbing and Horse Ridding etc. at an additional cost. Later we visit Khajjiar Sanctuary famous for Deodar Forest, Grasslands and an easy going hiking trail which leads to untouched forest and a mesmerising view of Pir Panjal ranges. In the evening, we stroll along the Ravi River and enjoy Boating on Chamera Dam.

Dalhousie – Dharamshala (2 Nights)

Today we proceed to Dharamshala – a hillside city surrounded by cedar forests located on the edge of the Himalayas known as the home of Dalai Lama. En route we visit Kangra Fort – the largest fort in Himalayas built atop a hill with a sweeping view of the Kangra valley. We then visit Chinmaya Tapovan – an ashram at the foot of the Dhauladhar ranges in the Kangra Valley. Here we visit the meditation hall. A small walk to reach the Ashram through the dense pine forest offers a panoramic view. Upon arrival at Dharamshala free time to relax and explore the surroundings.

• Two Tea/Coffee en route to Dharamshala

Today we explore Dharamshala. We take a photo stop at the Dharamshala Cricket Stadium. We then experience a ropeway ride known as Dharamshala Skyway offering stunning ariel views of the scenic town. Upon arrival we stroll around at the famous McLeod Ganj – a beautiful town nestled amidst majestic hills and lush greenery has a prominent Tibetan influence. Spend some time exploring McLeod Ganj. You can go shopping at the Tibetian Bazar. Later take a photo stop at Dalai Lama Monastery (subject to operation) – serene Temple complex known for its ornamental façade and vibrant prayer halls and we visit Saint John's Church – a Victorian era church built in the 18th century and Bhagsu Naag Temple – believed to be an ancient temple where Lord Shiva had prevailed himself. Here we enjoy a small walk in the Himalayan Ranges, feel the freshness in the air while we walk through this picturesque paradise and witness the beautiful sunset in the Himalayas.

Dharamshala – Amritsar (3 Nights)

Today we proceed to Amritsar - a vibrant city in the heart of Punjab, renowned for its rich cultural heritage, spiritual and historical significance. Upon arrival we visit Jallianwala Bagh – a historic garden and memorial of national importance preserved in the memory of those who were killed in the Jallianwala Massacre that happened on 13th April 1919. We then visit Golden Temple known as Harmandir Sahib or Darbar Sahib is the holiest Gurdwara and the most important pilgrimage site of Sikhism. Here we also see Akal Takht – throne of immortal and highest seat of authority of Khalsa. Golden temple at night is certainly a treat for the eyes & soul.

• Tea/Coffee en route to Amritsar, Lassi near Golden Temple

Today we visit Partition Temple – also Museum – world's first Museum dedicated to the Partition of 1947. Later we have free time for shopping. Further we proceed to visit Attari Wagah Border (subject to operation) – to witness the prestigious lowering of the flags ceremony daily military practice that the security forces of India and Pakistan have jointly followed since 1959. En-route we visit Ram Tirth – the birthplace of Lord Rama's sons, Luv and Kush.

• Tea /Coffee/Soft drinks on the way back from Attari Wagah Border

Today we visit the Punjab State War Heroes Memorial & Museum, built to showcase the supreme sacrifices made by the Punjabis while serving in the armed forces. Later we spend the day in the famous Punjab Farms. Here we indulge in cultural and traditional activities. We also enjoy the local cuisines of Punjab. In the evening we return to our Amritsar hotel.

In case of small cars there will be 4-6 guests in one car as per the capacity and guests occupy the seats on rotation basis. If you wish to utilise the vehicle solely for yourself or your family or you would like to upgrade the vehicle, we can arrange the same at an additional cost subject to availability. Sightseeing attractions: Given the current dynamic situation, some monuments or sightseeing places may be closed temporarily without any prior notice. Sometimes due to rush or changes in the reservation system, entrance to the sightseeing attractions may be unavailable; in such cases, every attempt will be made to visit an alternate sightseeing place if possible or refund of the entry fee will be given. Hotels: The hotels on tour are comfortable and have been appreciated by Veena World’s guests in the past. Kindly check your respective hotels before booking your tour. Room Sharing: Sometimes, two single unfamiliar travellers (gender - alike) share a room, should read the instruction paper along with the terms & conditions and abide by the same. Meals: On tour, we provide all meals, from day one to the last day, as mentioned in the itinerary. In case of early arrival or late departure due flight timings, guests will be provided an additional meal/s without any extra cost. In case of connecting flights, if the transit time exceeds beyond three hours, guests will be provided with a meal/meal coupon. Generally, meals are provided in the restaurants. On certain occasions, packed meals will be provided for the ease of itinerary operation/sightseeing. Breakfasts are generally Indian or Continental whereas, lunches and dinners are in the form of set menu and are Indian OR Indian along with a regional dish OR regional cuisine OR popular street food. At religious places due to restrictions, only vegetarian food will be served. At all other places, meals are a combination of Vegetarian or Non Vegetarian food items.

• As everyone is becoming a frequent traveller now, we suggest that you make your own travel accessories kit to ensure a stress free holiday.
• Always make sure to carry less and light luggage, use a four wheel small or medium suitcase and please make sure that you are carrying only one suitcase per person. This will ensure that you will travel smartly and without any inconveniences.
• It is also recommended that you have one cross shoulder bag or haversack for your handy needs which will ensure that you are comfortable at the time of sightseeing and also easy for photography during your tour.
• A smart cap/hat and sunglasses are definitely something that you should have in your kit.
• Though Veena World provides all three meals, that is breakfast, lunch, dinner and Veena World treats as per the itinerary, you can carry dry snacks of your choice in small sealed packets for munching during air travel or road journeys.
• If you are travelling during the monsoon or to destinations where it is rainy, please carry a small umbrella or poncho.
• For international tours, please carry a universal adapter for charging your cameras and mobile phones.
• Ensure that your clothing and footwear is suitable for the destination you are travelling to.
