The top 7 college basketball recruits at the IHSA state finals: Big Ten, Ivy League and more

The best high school basketball teams around the state meet this weekend at the Illinois High School Association state finals in Champaign.

Also on the court will be a few of the state's top college prospects, including some headed to the Big Ten Conference, the Ivy League and more.

Here are seven NCAA Division-I recruits you'll see this weekend at State Farm Center and the IHSA state finals .

IHSA STATE FINALS: Predicting the Illinois boys basketball state champions

Lathan Sommerville, Richwoods

The state No. 3 prospect according to 247sports.com has signed with Rutgers of the Big Ten Conference. The 6-foot-10 senior averages 24.6 points and 12.3 rebounds for the No. 8 team in Class 3A. He is the son of former Bradley player Marcellus Sommerville.

Angelo Ciaravino, Chicago Mount Carmel

The No. 5-ranked prospect in Illinois according to 247sports.com is committed to Northwestern of the Big Ten. The 6-foot-6 senior averages 21.0 points per game for the No. 6 team in Class 3A.

Gianni Cobb, Homewood-Flossmoor

The 6-foot senior guard has committed to Columbia of the Ivy League. He averages 15.1 points and 3.4 assists per game for the No. 2-ranked team in Class 4A.

Jaheem Webber, Normal Community

The 6-foot-10 senior forward, ranked No. 8 statewide by 247sports.com , committed to Wright State of the Horizon League after multiple offers from Missouri Valley Conference schools. He averages 10.3 points and 5.3 rebounds for the No. 6 team in Class 4A.

Bryce Heard, Homewood-Flossmoor

The uncommitted 6-foot-6 guard averages 16.9 points and 6.2 rebounds for the No. 2 team in Class 4A. The No. 2 rated junior in the state by 247sports.com has offers from multiple Power Five schools including the University of Illinois.

Docker Tedeschi, Benton

The 6-foot-6 junior is considered the top player in southern Illinois. He averages 15.4 points, 8.7 rebounds, 7.0 blocks, 5.0 assists and 2.3 steals for the No. 5-ranked team in Class 2A. He has multiple Power Five offers including Colorado and Harvard.

Jaylan McElroy, Chicago DePaul College Prep

The 6-foot-7 uncommitted senior averages 11.1 points and 5.3 rebounds for the No. 3 team in Class 3A. He has offers from Illinois State, Loyola (Md.) and others.
