A Night on the Cobbles: Coronation Street lists on Airbnb

• The Nation’s favourite street is offering fans a once-in-a-lifetime opportunity to stay on the historic Corrie cobbles
• Guests will live like a Weatherfield local; staying overnight in pop-up house ‘The Rovers’ Annexe’

Coronation Street – home of the UK’s most popular soap – is now available for a once-in-a-lifetime stay, only on Airbnb.  

For one night only, Coronation Street will open the Cobbles to two guests, giving super-fans the opportunity to immerse themselves in the iconic location and adopt the Rovers Return as their next door neighbour for the evening as they stay at ‘The Rovers’ Annexe’, Coronation Street, M10. 

The self-contained pop-up house, with its red-bricked façade and double-glazed windows, will be situated in the heart of the street, next door to the famous Rovers Return Inn. During the stay guests will be taken on a private tour of the set  followed by a hotpot dinner from the annexe whilst watching classic Corrie episodes, and if they’re lucky, a pint in the Rovers and breakfast from Roy’s Rolls may be on offer.  

The view from ‘The Rovers’ Annexe’ looks out towards Audrey’s and a little further along to Prestons Petals and the kebab shop. As the guests stroll down the street they will pass Fiz and Tyrone’s, take a peek in the Kabin window, or wander up Victoria Street to check out the menu at Speed Daal to see what Alya’s been up to. Although interiors will be closed, guests will be able to wander around Coronation, Rosamund and Victoria Street to their heart’s content. They can even have a stroll down the ginnel, site of so many Corrie secret rendezvous! 

The specially constructed temporary annexe has been kitted out in classic Coronation Street style, taking inspiration from the Rovers Return B&B decor. Guests will enjoy a comfortable living area to relax in, with homage to ‘Jenny Connors’ wood panelling and patterned wallpaper. The living room has a dining table where guests can sit and enjoy their hotpot. The adjoining twin bedroom provides a comfy bedding and prime Weatherfield views.

Here's how Coronation Street fans can book an overnight stay on the cobbles

Hotpots and classic Corrie ? Yes, please.

The Rovers Annexe will be open to two guests and will allow visitors to live like the locals – the pop-up house will be located next door to the Rovers Return.

In collaboration with Airbnb, Corrie will be offering this overnight experience for just £60 on Saturday, October 2 . The fee will be donated to charity and the exclusive experience listing will go live on Wednesday, May 26 at 1pm.

During the stay, the lucky Coronation Street superfans will step right into their favourite soap with a private tour of the set, followed by a hotpot dinner and the chance to watch classic episodes . There may even be a chance to grab a pint in the pub and grab a treat from Roy's Rolls.

The interiors of the set will be closed during the stay, however, fans will be able to wander through Coronation, Rosamund and Victoria Street as much as they like – they can even pop down the ginnel for a secret chat!

The Rovers Annexe has been designed specifically for this experience and is fully kitted out with everything needed to live like a local. The interior has been designed to resemble the Rovers Return B&B (the living room even has Jenny Connor's signature wood panelling and patterned wallpaper!)

The living room features a dining table, sofa, TV and adjoins to a twin bedroom with the best views of Weatherfield.

It's important to note that, due to local COVID-19 guidelines, only current UK residents will be eligible to book their stay.

Coronation Street overnight stay is open to fans of the 'Cobbles' after ITV list Rovers' Annexe on Airbnb.

Fans of ITV's Coronation Street have a unique chance to sleep in an Airbnb on the set of Coronation Street to celebrate both the soap’s 60th Anniversary and pubs reopening across the UK.

For one night only, fans of the soap have the chance to spend the night on the set of the popular ITV soap - giving them the best view of the famous cobbles and its key properties including the Rovers Return pub and other Weatherfield views.

During the world health pandemic, Coronation Street shut down filming after a Covid outbreak on set earlier this year, but now lockdown restrictions are easing allowing family overnight staycations in the UK, the soap is celebrating by offering fans a chance to take part in its first overnight stay.

Airbnb is also giving Winnie-the-Pooh fans the chance to stay in a treehouse in the original Hundred Acre Wood.

This opportunity of a lifetime would suit any die-hard fan as the temporary pop-up house listed on Airbnb is situated in the heart of the street, right next door to the iconic pub.

How to stay at Coronation Street's Rovers Return

Airbnb has listed The Rovers' Annexe as an ultimate Coronation Street must-have stay for any fan. The pop-up property offers the best views of Audrey's salon, Prestons Petals, and the kebab shop.

The Annex sleeps a maximum of two people and is available to book on Airbnb for 2nd October 2021 for one night only, priced at £60 (fee donated to charity) Airbnb reviews will be taken into consideration. But as ITV say they anticipate a very high level of interest, they will be adding the available booking date at 1pm BST on Wednesday 26th May.

Guests will be able to stroll down the street where its stars like Sophie Wenster played by Brooke Vincent who has given birth to her second child in real-life, and Rosie Webster, played by Helen Flanagan who gave birth to her third child earlier this year, have walked before.

Pass Fiz and Tyrone's before popping in to have a sneaky peek through the window of the Kabin and wander up Victoria Street to check out the menu at Speed Daal to see what Alya's been up to.

And the living room has a dining table where guests can pull up a chair and tuck into the hotpot, a signature dish made famous by the late Betty.

There’s good news for Coronation Street fans, as the soap is offering a once in a lifetime chance to stay on the cobbles.

In partnership with Airbnb, the 'Rovers Annexe' will open up its doors to two lucky guests who will get to spend the evening living like the locals.

During the stay, the superfans will get a private tour of the set, followed by a hotpot dinner while reliving some of the soap’s classic episodes.

There might even be the chance to grab a pint in the Rovers or a pastry from the iconic Roy's Rolls.

Situated right in the heart of The Street, the guests will have the perfect view of Audrey Roberts’ house across the road, while they can also take a stroll past the kebab shop and the Kabin.

The annexe itself has been decorated in classic Corrie style, with a dining table, sofa and adjoining twin bedroom.

It costs just £60 to stay and will take place for one night only on Saturday, October 2, with the fee donated to charity.

Have you looked at the famous Coronation Street cobbles and longed to spend a night up north in Weatherfield? Well, now you can.

A specially constructed pop-up house has been built on the set of Coronation Street in Salford which will open to book for just one night only on Airbnb.

Set in the tastefully decorated 'The Rovers' Annexe' (situated right next door to the legendary Rovers' Return pub), the stay includes a private tour of the set and a 'hotpot dinner' from the property with screenings of classic episodes - such as Deidre Barlow's intense tryst with Michael Baldwin, or when devil child David Platt discovered a sink hole in his back garden,

While interiors will be closed, guests will be able to walk around Coronation, Rosamund and Victoria Street - like a true resident of Weatherfield! Rita Sullivan, eat your heart out.

The one night stay is scheduled for October 2nd 2021, and will be made available to book on 26th May via the Airbnb platform.

The unique opportunity arose when ITV soap bosses teamed up with Airbnb celebration of pubs being able to reopen indoors as lockdown restrictions start to ease.

Airbnb anticipates a high level of interest when the listing goes live at 1pm on May 26, but due to current COVID-19 guidelines, it is only open to UK residents.

It's a dream come true for a pair of soap fans, as the iconic Coronation Street makes an appearance on Airbnb.

There's a chance to make yourself at home and live like a local from the TV favourite.

The once-in-a-lifetime opportunity will be featuring on the popular accommodation site under 'Spend a night on Coronation Street'.

Going at £60 a night, guests will be offered an "entire guest suite hosted by Rovers Return Inn".

It is for one night only, making it an amazing opportunity for committed fans of the show to live out a night at The Rovers' Annexe, immediately next door to the popular pub setting.

It will go on sale on May 26 at 1pm, making the one-time only shot something to have written down in case you lose track of time.

Teaming up with Airbnb, soap bosses opted to list the unique experience in celebration of pubs being able to reopen indoors after the latest loosening of lockdown restrictions.

The Manchester Evening News reports that the money will go to charity.

The Cobbles will open up to the two guests for just one night on October 2, allowing fans to fully immerse themselves in the location they have seen so many times on screen.

Getting to call the Rovers Return their next door neighbour it is bound to be a night to remember.

The pop-up house that will play host to the guests is self-contained, with double-glazed windows and a classic red-brick look, and is located in the heart of the iconic street.

Guests will be given a private tour of the set during their stay, which will be followed up by a hotpot dinner from the annexe as they're able to binge watch classic episodes of the soap.

If they're in luck, they might even be able to grab a pint next door and pick up a nice breakfast from Roy's Rolls.

Coronation Street and Emmerdale fans can tour the sets of their favourite soap on a 2021 holiday from £119 per person

FANS of top British soaps Coronation Street and Emmerdale can tour the sets as part of a holiday this year.

Viewers of Coronation Street can stroll down the cobbles of its famous street past the Rovers Return and Emmerdale watchers can pull a pint in the Woolpack during UK holidays from £119 per person.

On the Coronation Street   tour fans get to see the iconic locations that have graced screens for 60 years.

This includes the external sets as studio guides tell you first-hand stories and filming secrets from the studio.

You'll get to see Roy's Rolls, The Kabin, Underworld and, of course, the Rovers Return.

Guests also get to head behind the scenes to discover the production process of the show and have the opportunity to capture their time on set with a selfie.

The trip includes return coach travel, a visit to Liverpool, admission to Coronation Street Tour at MediaCityUK in Manchester, and an overnight stay at a selected three-star hotel in the North West area with dinner and breakfast.

Emmerdale fans can book a two-day break which includes The Emmerdale Village Tour, a guided walking tour of the TV village based on the Harewood Estate near Leeds.

Here you'll see where exterior scenes of the much-loved soap, which is now Britain's second-longest-running, are filmed, including The Woolpack, Café Mainstreet and David’s Shop.

The trip includes return coach travel, a visit to Skipton Market, admission to the Emmerdale Village Tour and an overnight stay at a selected three-star hotel in the Yorkshire area with dinner and breakfast.

Both tours depart from locations in North England and the Midlands only with travel dates for later in the year.

Though all  non-essential travel  is currently  banned due to the UK lockdown,  you can still book a holiday for later in the year, when restrictions will hopefully have lifted.

Heartbreak as Hollywood star exits Coronation Street just weeks after debut

Summer Spellman’s (Harriet Bibby) hopes of a new romance are quickly destroyed in Coronation Street soon as boyfriend Felix heads back to the USA.

Summer has been away from Weatherfield over the past few months getting settled into life at a university in Boston, America.

Shortly after Summer was offered this placement, she felt apprehensive about leaving and wanted to stay and care for Paul ( Peter Ash ), who has motor neurone disease.

Sitting down for a chat, Paul and Billy ( Daniel Brocklebank ) told Summer that she should accept the uni placement and live her life, because Paul would be well-looked after by other members of his family while she’s away.

Feeling reassured, Summer waved her goodbyes to the cobbles but now, she’s back home.

In upcoming episodes of the ITV soap, Summer and Felix – who is played by Hollywood star Robin Morrissey – pop by the flat.

However, just as they walk in, they hear Paul playing a derogatory message about Felix on his Eyegaze device.
