The rising hit-maker, Central Cee, will perform his first headlining U.S. dates before blazing through Europe.

West London superstar Central Cee announces the “ Still Loading World Tour .” Kicking off in October, the “Still Loading World Tour” starts in the United States, where Cench will perform his first-ever American headlining dates, before heading to Europe on October 31st. The tour culminates in London on November 22nd, as Cench headlines a special show at the historic Alexandra Palace. Australian fans should stay tuned for the announcement of dates in Melbourne and Sydney .

Central Cee’s announcement of the “Still Loading World Tour” arrives on the heels of “Doja,” the rapper’s viral new smash. The track marked a huge moment, as Central Cee becomes the first ever U.K. artist to have a video  directed by the iconic Cole Bennett, and hosted on Lyrical Lemonade. “Doja” racked up over 25 million streams in the ten days since its release, and over  17 million views on its YouTube video , en route to a #2 debut on the U.K.’s Official Charts. Everything you need to know ahead of Longitude 2024

The end of June is upon us and that means that Longitude is too. The music festival loved by teens kicks off this Saturday, June 29.

The two-day Marlay Park festival has a jam-packed line-up of chart toppers set to play throughout the weekend. Popstars Doja Cat, Becky Hill and rap sensation Central Cee, are all among the star-studded performers.

The festival, formerly known for it's major hip-hop emphasis, is offering a diverse range of music this year.

Who is playing

There are a host of other exciting Irish and international artists set to hit the south Dublin stage.

On Saturday, UK rapper Central Cee will be joined by Becky Hill , Belters Only, blk, Joel Corry and Jazzy.

While on Sunday, Doja will be accompanied by 21 Savage, Sonny Fodera, D Block Europe, Obskur and Kenya Grace.

What time should I arrive?

Gates at Marlay Park open from 1.30pm both days. There are no camping facilities at the festival. Stage times will be announced closer to the time, which you will be able to find at  longitude.ie .

How do I get to/from the festival?

Festival goers are being asked to book and plan transport in advance to allow at least three hours extra travel time to and from Marlay Park. There will be very limited parking spaces available, with Longitude organisers suggesting you opt for public transport instead.

Luas: The Luas green line is a great way to get to Marlay Park. You should get the luas from the city centre to either Dundrum or Balally. Both stops are a 35-minute walk to the site. A shuttle bus from Dundrum Luas stop to the venue will run every 30 minutes from 12pm. Tickets can be purchased  here .

Buses: There will be designated transport coming to and from the festival, with a number of regional operators offering the service.

Another option is Marathon Coaches, who will be running their buses on both days from Northwall Quay in the city centre directly to the concert grounds. Buses are from 11am and tickets can be purchased  here .

There are still tickets available for the event on TicketMaster , coming in at €199.50 each, before fees.

The festival, which has been running since 2013, promises to be a jam-packed one.

Festivalgoers, bring both your sun cream and your raincoat - you never know what weather the weekend could bring!

XXL Unveils 2024 Freshman Class Featuring Maiya the Don, Rich Amiri and Cash Cobain

The highly anticipated preview of the future of hip-hop has arrived.

The XXL Freshman Class, an annual tradition, gives hip-hop fans a glimpse at the year's most promising rising stars. Last year’s class featured artists that blew up throughout the year like Central Cee, Glorilla, Tia Corine and DC The Don.

This year’s artists expected to carry the genre forward are Dallas rapper BigXThaPlug , Tallahasee, Florida rapper Bossman Dlow , New York rapper Cash Cobain , Atlanta rapper Hunxho , Philadelphia rapper Lay Bankz , New York rapper Maiya The Don , Boston rapper Rich Amiri, New York rapper ScarLip , Texas rapper That Mexican OT  and the mysterious crooner 4Batz .

This year, the magazine met with 53 rap hopefuls and had discussions about their music, listening to unreleased tracks, reviewing touring plans and learning about their goals. With these insights and many other factors, the challenging selection process began as the staff deliberated on which artists would join the ranks of the 171 past Freshmen inducted since 2007.

Here are three highlights of this year’s list:

Maiya the Don —

This beauty influencer turned rapper had a huge year despite the dramatic pivot to music.

Maiya initially aimed for an education, studying cosmetology before majoring in psychology at SUNY New Paltz. “That’s the life of a Hispanic woman,” she shared with Okayplayer.  “I’m very Puerto Rican in that way. We are studious and must always look good and be put together.”

In 2020, she joined TikTok to share beauty hacks along with observations, jokes and messages of positivity, representation and empowerment. Within a year, she was engaging daily with half a million fans, captivating them with her  charm, exuberant confidence and humor, while also earning good money through endorsements. Her life had changed forever.

However, she quickly began to feel stagnant in the influencer space. To reignite an old passion, she asked her friend Eric Evander to take her to a studio in Poughkeepsie, where she began rapping in earnest. Her manager, Eric Scantlebury, believes Maiya is a natural entertainer with her humor and “huge radiant personality,” evident on TikTok, and she immediately showed promising signs as a rapper.

Since then, her 2022 track “Telfy” went viral, earning 6.5 million streams on Spotify. She also opened for Flo Milli on her national tour.

Rich Amiri —

The 20-year-old Boston rapper is on a fast rise thanks to his viral single, “One Call.” He emerges from the underground rap scene, similar to Yeat and Ken Carson. Amiri told Complex he knew “One Call” would be a hit before making it. “It was almost like God talking to me and telling me what to say,” he said. “Or I was reciting a song that I had listened to before. It was just flowing.”

Amiri first got into music by listening to The Weeknd and Speaker Knockerz, before shifting his focus to the Atlanta rap scene, connecting with artists like Young Thug and Lil Keed. As he began rapping, he drew inspiration from artists like Future and even R&B singer Giveon, exploring their flows due to their shared deep baritone voice.

He’s looking to spearhead a movement to turn Boston into a rap scene and put it on the map.

Cash Cobain —

The 26-year-old Bronx-born rapper-producer has been steadily ascending over the past several years. He’s made his Slizzy movement a fixture through his own catalog, work like “JHoliday,” and “Slizzy Talk” with his frequent collaborator Chow Lee, and outsourcing his beats to artists like Lil Yachty, Central Cee and Lucki.

Cash’s music is all about debauchery—horny, sweaty, melodic rap for the hours after the club. He weaves the upbeat sounds of drill and Jersey club with the sleazy moods found on early Weeknd mixtapes, one of his biggest inspirations.

He’s also responsible for “Grippy,” the summer track that’s been memed thousands of times over for J. Cole’s feature and performance.
