In reno news, Atlantis’ iconic Royal Towers have undergone extensive renovations, with the completion of all guestrooms in The Royal East Tower set to be complete by summer 2022, closely followed by newly renovated rooms and suites in The Royal West Tower. The Royal’s world-famous bridge suite is also on track for a total renovation in 2023.

New to the property in 2022 and beyond are new dining options, including Mediterranean-style beachside eatery Pita and Paranza, an Italian restaurant from Michelin-starred chef Michael White. The Atlantis Casino will undergo a refresh to add modern finishes and expand the two on-site lounges, and 2024 will mark the debut of Somewhere Else, the new hotel replacing the current site of The Beach Tower.

Atlantis also recently introduced Sapphire Services, a bespoke concierge platform offering guests one-of-a-kind experiences from private and semi-private chartered flights to behind-the-scenes educational tours of Dolphin Cay and the resort’s fish hospital.

Atlantis, Paradise Island resort is pleased to announce their first-ever travel agent loyalty and education program - Atlantis Ambassador - in conjunction with TravAlliance Media’s Travel Agent Academy. Atlantis welcomes qualified travel agents to join forces with the largest resort in The Bahamas to earn a certified title as an Atlantis Ambassador. The points-based travel agent loyalty program will offer numerous perks and travel opportunities to the resort for agents.

“Becoming an Atlantis Ambassador will empower travel agents with the education and resources to close more sales and increase advocacy on behalf of our beloved resort. In turn, we will be able to express our appreciation for their sales through our rewards program,” says Karen Cruitt, Vice President of Leisure Sales for Atlantis, Paradise Island. “We look forward to continuing our existing relationships with travel agents as well as forming new connections through this result-driven incentive program.”

Travel agents are able to register at www.atlantisambassador.com using their valid IATA registration number, though agents who are already Travel Agent Academy members do not have to re-register. An agent’s certification is earned following the completion of five required educational courses and training modules. Once certified, agents can begin earning rewards through Atlantis Ambassador Rewards.   All agents are required to log their own bookings in order to earn points, which will become available for agent’s use after their client’s stay has been completed and validated.

The simple system is tiered based on factors such as type of tower booked (Beach, Coral, or Royal Towers, The Reef Atlantis, The Cove Atlantis, or Harborside) and length of stay, with the ability to either redeem or “bank” points, and execute double points during certain periods. Rewards range from gift cards to a VIP site inspection to complimentary room nights and a shallow-water interaction at Dolphin Cay Atlantis. All registered agents will also receive access to Atlantis’ exclusive “insider” communications, invitations to in-market presentations, dinners, and FAMs.

Travel Agents who earn their certification within the first three months of the program’s launch will be entered into a drawing for the chance to win a three-night complimentary stay in the iconic Royal Towers, awarded monthly. Additionally, Atlantis Ambassadors who participate in the companion, points-based travel agent loyalty program are eligible an ongoing prize opportunity that is awarded every quarter. To promote continued engagement among travel agents, every logged booking will result in one entry for a complimentary three-night stay in the iconic Royal Towers.

Atlantis Resorts Incentives Global Booking Rewards

Terms & conditions.

The following are the terms and conditions of the Atlantis, The Palm Global Booking Rewards (the " Programme "), and constitutes the agreement between Atlantis The Palm Limited (the “ Sponsor ”) and each Agent entered into the Programme. By using this website and enrolling into the Programme, Agent agrees to be bound by these TERMS AND CONDITIONS .

Eligibility:  TThe Programme is only open to employees of tour operators, travel agents or partners with an existing contractual relationship with a Kerzner entity for the promotion and sale of room nights at Atlantis, The Palm and who book reservations at Atlantis, The Palm (" Agent " or " you ").

You must enroll in the Programme by registering at https://www.atlantisresortsincentives.com .  Valid only for Agents located in the qualifying regions, as specified. Each Agent is limited to only one membership, one login and assigned to one region only. Participation is non-transferrable.

Agencies, teams and businesses cannot register as a 'group'. Multiple account numbers belonging to an Agent will be cancelled, his/her participation in the Programme subject to termination without notice and any Points accrued under any and all of such multiple accounts shall be forfeited.

A qualifying transaction is:  

• A booking made by the Agent, not booked through any large third-party travel websites such as Travelocity, Expedia, Orbitz, etc., that results in a completed transaction at Atlantis, The Palm.

Agents earn Points on qualifying transactions made from the date the registration is accepted. 

Agents must log each and every booking into the portal within 6 months of check out. Bookings not logged within this period will be forfeited and no longer redeemable for points.

Wholesale, tour operator, contracted and retail rates are eligible for Points. Complimentary, airline staff, group, discounted agent travel and specially negotiated rates are not eligible for Points.

Any duplication of bookings with other users will render both bookings null and void. Bookings are validated by Atlantis, The Palm to confirm dates of stay. Qualifying transactions and bookings is at the sole discretion of Atlantis, The Palm and its decision is final and binding on qualifying transactions made from the date of registration acceptance.

Points:  Points are calculated based on the number of nights booked as part of a completed reservation. For example if a room is worth 1 point per night, 1x Room for 3 nights = 3 points.  2x Rooms for 5 nights = 10 points.  Points shall not be awarded for cancellations or no-show bookings.

Points accrue on an individual basis, and only the Agent may accumulate incentives in his/her account. Number of points per night may differ by room type.

Incentives:  Points are redeemable for incentives once the thresholds of 10, 20, 30, 40 or 50 are reached. The incentives paid out at each threshold vary by region and are fixed. No cash alternative shall be payable. Incentives can be requested via the request vouchers button on the Agent dashboard.

Stay voucher:

Stay voucher is valid for 1 year from the date of issue (Black-out dates apply and subject to availability).

Applies to Palm King or Palm Queen room type only.

Up to 2 Adults and 2 children under the age of 14.

Minimum of 2 nights and maximum 7 nights.

Stay voucher is non-transferrable, cannot be resold or exchanged for cash.

Incentives redeemed shall be given to the Agent within 28-days from the request date.

Monitoring:  Sponsor reserves the right to monitor all account activity and reserves the right to terminate an Agent's participation in the Programme, without notice, due to misrepresentation, noncompliance with the Programme rules or any conduct detrimental to the interests of Atlantis, The Palm or if Atlantis, The Palm reasonably determines that an Agent has engaged in any fraud or abuse, including forfeiture of all accumulated Points and the Agent will be banned from entering any other Atlantis, The Palm incentive program.

Amendment/Cancellation/Indemnity:  Sponsor reserves the right to change, amend, modify, suspend, cancel or terminate the Programme, in whole or in part, at any time with or without notice, and notwithstanding the fact that the Agent shall forfeit any or all Points. For the avoidance of doubt, even if you have earned or reached a level that may entitle you to receive an Incentive in the Programme, you will forfeit and lose your right to receive and be awarded same if the change, amendment, modification, suspension, cancellation or termination becomes effective prior to your receipt of any such incentive. With respect to any and all questions, interpretations or disputes regarding the meaning or interpretation of these terms & conditions, our determination, in our sole discretion, shall be final and binding for all purposes. Employees of an Agent may not participate in the Programme if doing so would violate its employer's policies or if the Programme is or would be prohibited or restricted by law. Agent agrees to indemnify and hold harmless the Sponsor, its affiliates, officers, directors, employees and agents, from any and all claims, losses, damages, liabilities, including reasonable attorney fees, incurred by such indemnified parties on account of any act, omission, or breach by Agent. Other restrictions apply.

Law & Taxes:  Programme is subject to the laws of Dubai and any action brought shall be brought in the Dubai courts. The Programme is void where prohibited by federal, state, or local laws. All taxes arising from participation in the Programme, receipt or use of any incentives received in connection with the Programme are solely the Agent's responsibility.

Intellectual Property:  Agent acknowledges that use of Sponsor’s name and/or any marks, logos or other images used or sublicensed in connection with this Programme are owned by Kerzner International and any use by Agent in connection with this Programme inures to the benefit of Sponsor.  Sponsor retains all right, title and interest therein and nothing in this Programme grants any ownership interest therein to Service Provider.

Confidentiality & Data Protection:  Agent acknowledges and agrees shall not use or disclose to any person either during or at any time any confidential information about the business or affairs of the Sponsor or any other company in its group or any of its business contacts, or about any other confidential matters including the Programme. Agent consents to Sponsor holding and processing data relating to Agent for legal, personnel, administrative and management purposes in relation to the Programme in accordance with the applicable data protection laws and its Privacy Policy,  click here for more details

At Atlantis Paradise Island, A Barbie Beach Vacation in The Bahamas

It’s right on the beach, with sparkling views of the sea, copious aquatic creatures, infinite bathing suits and even its own special shade of pink. 

Atlantis Paradise Island isn’t a Malibu dream house, but the legendary Bahamian resort has temporarily transformed into its own version of Barbie World. 

This weekend, Atlantis kicked off its partnership with Mattel with the first-ever “Barbie Boardwalk Adventure,” an interactive event that’s part of a resort-wide Barbie takeover. 

The experience, set in the lobby of The Royal resort next the famous “Dig” aquarium, is an immediate crowd-pleaser, with everything from a huge ball pit to Barbie-themed temporary tattoos, water bottle designs, bubble mazes, slides and, naturally, a well-stocked Barbie doll shop. 

Beyond the Boardwalk Experience, which lasts about an hour and lets kids temporarily travel to Malibu (replete with life-size doll boxes for the perfect Instagram shot), Atlantis has added a host of Barbie touches across the Nassau Paradise Island resort. 

That includes special Barbie-themed suites and rooms, Barbie-designed Cabanas at the Coral pool; and a transformation of the popular Sun & Ice eatery into a pink-accented Barbie-themed ice cream parlor. In all, 11 different Atlantis eateries are offering some form of Barbie-inspired dish. 

My two daughters were among the first kids to try the Experience when it opened on Saturday, and it was an instant hit, particularly the ball pit —easily the largest one I’ve ever seen. 

And as an added amenity for an already fantastic family-friendly resort, the Barbie takeover, which runs through the summer, is a welcome addition.  

“It feels like I was in Barbie’s dream house,” my four-year-old said, highlighting the Barbie cruise-ship slide as a particularly strong inclusion. 

For my older daughter, the ball pit was the star. 

“It really felt like you were in the Barbie world.”

The travel agent offer is bookable all year via the travel agent website or by calling Atlantis’ customer care team: 877-786-1736. Travel agent reservations can be made in advance of travel, and savings are valid for two guestrooms.
