This is an outstanding tour having just completed it in early November of 2023. Raj was our driver and he was kind, thoughtful, and was a very experienced driver. He always ensured that we had bottled water to drink when we were traveling. I also thought it was convenient that we had wifi in the car at all times. Amazing India tours always checked up on us when we were in India to ensure that everything was going fine. Amazing India tours also has excellent customer service and responded to my emails quickly even before we went on the trip. The tour provides a lot of variety from sightseeing, safari tours, and the cooking class/dinner at a host family. Our tour guides in each city were very professional and knowledgeable as well. If you are interested in doing the golden triangle tour, then this is the tour to book. This tour has excellent reviews from prior travelers and they were very accurate as we were very satisfied with the tour. The Taj Mahal and the cooking class were our favorite excursions.

In the early hours of the day, set out in an open-roofed jeep to pursue tigers and explore the surrounding fauna through the deep jungle. After you get back to the hotel, eat breakfast. Day 15 : Bandhavgarh

Day 16 : Bandhavgarh – Kanha

1. Jim Corbett National Park

At a distance of 4 km from Ramnagar Railway Station, 65 km from Nainital, 232 km from Dehradun, and 261 km from Delhi, Jim Corbett National Park is India's oldest and most popular National Park in India. The Park acts as a protection zone for Bengal Tigers of India. It is one of the wellknown wildlife sanctuaries in India and among the best places to visit near Delhi . Ranthambore National Park is one of the national parks in Rajasthan , and among the popular national parks near Delhi . It is situated about 162 km from Jaipur, and 368 km from Delhi. Ranthambhore was established as the Sawai Madhopur Game Sanctuary in 1955 by the Government of India and was declared one of the Project Tiger reserves in 1974. 10. Binsar Wildlife Sanctuary

At a distance of 26 km from Almora, Binsar Wildlife Sanctuary is located in the foothills of Himalayas in Almora district of Uttarakhand. Parvez arranged a five-person, 24-day trip that included Delhi, Rajasthan, Agra, Varanasi, and Kerala that was utterly delightful and seamless. Despite his smiling presence and calm demeanor, I knew he worked hard behind the scenes to handle every detail to make sure everything went smoothly.

Two couples and long time friends booked a trip starting in Goa, driving to Hampi, then flying to Madurai. We again had a driver and explored world heritage sites from Kancheepuram to the backwaters of Kerala. Hotels were excellent and importantly so were our driver who were experienced and spoke good English. Our agent was always available by phone and always helpful the few times needed. Trip could not have been better. Recommend without reservation.

From 2014 to 2018 I’ve done 3 tour in India Rajasthan, South India, Varanasi, Amritsar, and I’m going to have the fourth. I like India and I’m strictly joint with this country. I went in contact with Parvez and Indian Journey in a wonderful period I was in India to adopt my daughter and since then Parvez-Bahi was for me not only the best travel agent ever known but over all he was a brother an angel who protected me and my family and friends, in India.

We used Indian Journey this month for a Golden Triangle itinerary. Without a doubt, every driver, guide, and representative were top notch and immediately available via text, phone, or Whataspp (preferred).

Not once did we feel out of touch nor left questioning our itinerary. The guides were able to be a bit flexible with personal goals and priorities.

Excellent staff, prompt communication, flexibility, and guides. Just beware of the hard sell at the Cottage Industries mandatory handicraft/carpet shops.

Our third trip with Indian Journey was as memorable as ever. We have previously used Parvez (INDIAN JOURNEY) for touring Rajasthan and then a year later Amritsar, Shimla & Manali. All hotel bookings were good , Pawan our Driver was superb (we had him for 15 days in this last road trip). I have yet to come across a more decent and polite travel organisation in India, where the emphasis is on service and well being of the customer with very good prices.

This trip we did this time was Delhi, Agra, Jaipur, Jodhpur, Jaisalmer and finally Udaipur. We stayed 2 nights at each location.

I would have no hesitation to recommend (and I have already sent a number of my friends in the UK Parvez’s details) INDIAN JOURNEY for organizing your next holiday.

If you want home away from home than you should get in touch with Indian Journey Mr Parvez Khan. I have used other service providers in India on my previous visits but no one came close to Indian Journey when it comes to your comfort and service. You will be treated as a family member of Indian Journey.

I have visited lots of places and the best thing is that as soon as you reach your Hotel to check in you will receive a call from Indian Journey to ask if the Hotel is to your liking and if not they arrange to transfer you to another Hotel with fulfills your needs and wants. I have visited India more than five times with young family and solo.There is no comparison in service and comfort with Indian Journey. Don’t just take my word for it, try it and you will not be disappointed.

Hinduism alone accounts for thousands of deities. Where ever you travel in this spiritual land, you'll find monuments with a sacred element: the Taj Mahal, with its carefully inlaid Koranic verses; Khajuraho's Hindu temples, with their astonishing erotic sculptures; the Ajanta Caves, with their serene murals of the Buddha; Catholic churches in Goa, with their Hindu-esque images of Jesus; Jain temples with their tirthankaras (perfect souls), whose poses and features resemble those of the Buddha; and even a handful of historic synagogues.

The earliest remnants of an Indian civilization date from at least 3200 BC, and since then the subcontinent's culture and heritage have endured repeated invasions. Some say India's ability to adapt is the very source of her strength and resilience. Persian-influenced Mogul tombs add delicacy to urban skylines. British bungalows anchor Himalayan hill stations and line major avenues. Cuisines, languages, dance and music styles, and artwork and handicrafts vary widely from state to state. There's no American-style homogeneity in India; each region is intensely proud of its own culture.

To be sure, many aspects of this country can be hard for the Westerner to understand. Why, for instance, do India's urban cows prefer to chew on newspaper rather than on rotting garbage (in plentiful sup-ply) or on random patches of grass in a field? Here, time's insignificance induces a dreamlike state. You can sit for hours and watch the simplest routines: village women drawing water from a well, or a man tills the soil with a crude wooden plow. Walking around a deserted ancient city such as Fatehpur Sikri, or watching orthodox Hindus in Varanasi go through their purification or cremation rituals, you'll begin to understand why the art of meditation evolved here. Arrive with the determination to experience India, and make every attempt to adapt; otherwise, this country—which travelers tend to love or hate—might rub you the wrong way.

It helps to be forgiving about some elements of India's inefficiency and over-stretched infrastructure. When this country gained independence in 1947, the new democracy chose nonalignment, set up a large national government, and legislated protectionist policies that kept out most foreign products and led almost too economic isolation. The first Prime Minister, Jawaharlal Nehru, believed protection-ism would make India self-reliant and ultimately improve the standard of living, especially for the impoverished. India did move toward self-reliance, but lack of competition stifled the country's own development, with its captive market forced to accept indigenous products that were often substandard or old-fashioned. Until recently, the dominant car on India's roads was a copy of the Ambassador, a British design from the early 1950s with a curvaceous yet bulky chassis: a nostalgic gas-guzzler.

Then, in 1991, a severe debt crisis and a shortage of foreign exchange forced the government to initiate economic reforms whose results have been nothing short of astonishing. Having studiously fended off foreign corporations for decades, India is suddenly encouraging them to invest. Coke and Pepsi are staging their old war on new turf, and software companies are helping turn Bangalore and Hyderabad into 21st-century boom towns.

• Good for last-minute travelers because the drug is started 1-2 days before traveling to an area where malaria transmission occurs
• Some people prefer to take a daily medicine
• Good choice for shorter trips because you only have to take the medicine for 7 days after traveling rather than 4 weeks
• Very well tolerated medicine – side effects uncommon
• Pediatric tablets are available and may be more convenient
• Cannot be used by women who are pregnant or breastfeeding a child less than 5 kg
• Cannot be taken by people with severe renal impairment
• Tends to be more expensive than some of the other options (especially for trips of long duration)

Chloroquine

Adults: 300 mg base (500 mg salt), once/week.

Children: 5 mg/kg base (8.3 mg/kg salt) (maximum is adult dose), once/week.

• Some people would rather take medicine weekly
• Good choice for long trips because it is taken only weekly
• Some people are already taking hydroxychloroquine chronically for rheumatologic conditions. In those instances, they may not have to take an additional medicine
• Can be used in all trimesters of pregnancy
• Cannot be used in areas with chloroquine or mefloquine resistance
• May exacerbate psoriasis
• Some people would rather not take a weekly medication
• For trips of short duration, some people would rather not take medication for 4 weeks after travel
• Not a good choice for last-minute travelers because drug needs to be started 1-2 weeks prior to travel

Doxycycline

Begin 1 – 2 days before travel, daily during travel, and for 4 weeks after leaving.

Adults: 100 mg daily.

Children: ≥8 years old: 2.2 mg/kg (maximum is adult dose) daily.

• Tends to be the least expensive antimalarial
• Some people are already taking doxycycline chronically for prevention of acne. In those instances, they do not have to take an additional medicine
• Doxycycline also can prevent some additional infections (e.g., Rickettsiae and leptospirosis) and so it may be preferred by people planning to do lots of hiking, camping, and wading and swimming in fresh water
• Cannot be used by pregnant women and children <8 years old
• Some people would rather not take a medicine every day
• Women prone to getting vaginal yeast infections when taking antibiotics may prefer taking a different medicine
• Persons planning on considerable sun exposure may want to avoid the increased risk of sun sensitivity
• Some people are concerned about the potential of getting an upset stomach from doxycycline

Begin 1 – 2 weeks before travel, weekly during travel, and for 4 weeks after leaving.

Adults: 228 mg base (250 mg salt), weekly.

Children: ≤9 kg: 4.6 mg/kg base (5 mg/kg salt), weekly. >9-19 kg: ¼ tablet weekly. >19-30 kg: ½ tablet weekly. >30-45 kg: ¾ tablet weekly. >45 kg: 1 tablet weekly.

• Can be used during pregnancy
• Cannot be used in areas with mefloquine resistance
• Cannot be used in patients with certain psychiatric conditions
• Cannot be used in patients with a seizure disorder
• Not recommended for persons with cardiac conduction abnormalities
• Not a good choice for last-minute travelers because drug needs to be started at least 2 weeks prior to travel

Begin 1 – 2 days prior to travel, daily during travel, and for 7 days after leaving

Adults: 30 mg base (52.6 mg salt), daily

Children: 0.5 mg/kg base (0.8 mg/kg salt) up to adult dose daily

• It is one of the most effective medicines for preventing P. vivax and so it is a good choice for travel to places with > 90% P. vivax
• Cannot be used in patients with glucose-6-phosphatase dehydrogenase (G6PD) deficiency
• Cannot be used in patients who have not been tested for G6PD deficiency
• There are costs and delays associated with getting a G6PD test done; however, it only has to be done once. Once a normal G6PD level is verified and documented, the test does not have to be repeated the next time primaquine is considered
• Cannot be used by pregnant women
• Cannot be used by women who are breastfeeding unless the infant has also been tested for G6PD deficiency
• Some people are concerned about the potential of getting an upset stomach from primaquine

Tafenoquine (Arakoda TM )

Begin daily for 3 days prior to travel, weekly during travel, and for 1 week after leaving.

Adults only: 200 mg per dose.

• One of the most effective drugs for prevention of P. vivax malaria, but also prevents P. falciparum
• Good choice for shorter trips because you only have to take the medicine once, 1 week after traveling rather than 4 weeks
• Good for last-minute travelers because the drug is started 3 days before traveling to an area where malaria transmission occurs
• There are costs and delays associated with getting a G6PD test done; however, it only has to be done once. Once a normal G6PD level is verified and documented, the test does not have to be repeated the next time tafenoquine is considered
• Cannot be used by children
• Not recommended in those with psychotic disorders
