She visited remote areas of Indonesia on her own and became a translator, though only fluent in English. She conquered her fear of falling while on an elephant trek in Thailand. And she made friends across the globe, including a Japanese family who taught her to make sushi and a West Berliner who gave her an insider’s look at the city shortly after the wall came down.

Anna Papaphotis of TRAVELMANIA 5 stars are not enough. I missed my flight because of a small error on my “travel form”. Ok my fault….However. In this digital faceless robotic tec world of impersonal form filling red tape mayhem, she helped me through and stuck with me on my phone like a guardian angel and made sure I was safely booked on the next flight with all the correct paperwork. Patiently and with a typical understanding Libran demeanour (I’m one of those also) she navigated through the on line jungle and managed to sort me out. Thankyou Anna I owe you a Covid free cuddle and a double shot of Zivania. 10 stars 👍👍👍🏆🏆🏆💥💥💥💥💥💥💥💥💥💥

Go to the professionals

We've been using Travelmania to book our holidays for many years now. It's so nice in this day and age to be able to walk into a shop and explain what you're looking for. They care enough to spend time listening and explaining options for you - and you just can't get that over the internet. They know so many places directly and can always give you really good advice on choosing the right resort and the right accommodation. And one time when Gatwick South Terminal was closed while we were in it, they managed to save our holiday by finding us another option in record time. Go to the professionals, I say!

Travelmania have organised a number of excellent holidays for us - Durban (South Africa), Cyprus, Sweden, Denmark and Berlin. Nothing was too much trouble. I have been to many places with…

I have been to many places with Travelmania. They are a company with helpful friendly staff especially John. Last year I went to Thailand. I stayed in Bangkok for 3 days. Good Hotel with swimming Pool. And 7 days in Pukett. Visited the main Islands lik P p islands . Had a wonderful time. Beautiful beaches delicious food . Lovely Hotels with big beautiful gardens. I always get good deals from Travelmania. I have been to Jordan Tunsia San Francisco with Travelmania. As well as short trips like Hamburg and Dublin. Fantastic company with great service

I always have a seamless experience booking with TravelMania - the team are friendly, knowledgeable and go above and beyond. Is the UFC’s big main event for their debut Saudi Arabia card in jeopardy? A new cryptic post from Robert Whittaker certainly seems to indicate change is in the air for the June 22nd card in Riyadh.

Whittaker is set to face Khamzat Chimaev in the main event of UFC on ABC, which broadcasts from the Kingdom. But in a new Instagram message, “The Reaper” implies he’s willing to fight anyone the UFC has ready for him.

“Anyone Anywhere Anytime,” Whittaker wrote, attaching a video of highlights from past posts.

What could this mean? There’s been no official word from the UFC that any change is being considered for the Saudi headline fight, but fans in the comments are jumping to the worst case scenario: that Chimaev is out and Whittaker will face someone else in two weeks.

“Khamzat out?” one asked.

“Saudi won’t like this,” said another.

“Bro got that dawg in him would love to see Sean Strickland and you slug it out,” a commenter suggested.

“Khamzat don’t wanna see Bobby knuckles,” a fan wrote.

This would be another big blow to a big June card. The month was looking pretty stacked with Whittaker vs. Khamzat on the 22nd and Conor McGregor vs. Michael Chandler on June 29th.

Things are looking pretty bleak for those who bought tickets to see McGregor at UFC 303, and now those travelling to Saudi Arabia may be sweating a little bit until “Borz” makes an appearance in Riyadh.

Ao andar pela praça de alimentação de um shopping é possível encontrar mais de um estabelecimento que tenha hambúrguer no cardápio. Entre os mais populares estão os fast foods McDonald's e Burger King . A rede de restaurantes Mania de Churrasco , conhecido pela variedade de cortes de carne e acompanhamentos, tem conquistado cada vez mais consumidores que buscam por lanches.

"O hambúrguer é o produto que cresce mais rápido no Mania de Churrasco atualmente", diz o sócio e diretor Filliphe Camelo.

A categoria, presente no cardápio desde 2013, nasceu para diversificar o mix de produtos e atender à demanda de clientes que buscavam opções de refeições rápidas, principalmente no período da noite, explica Camelo. De lá pra cá, os hambúrgueres passaram a representar 30% das vendas em quantidade e cerca de 20% da receita.

Com mais de 100 restaurantes, a maioria em shoppings centers, o Mania de Churrasco faturou R$ 526 milhões em 2023, alta de 22% na comparação com o ano anterior. Do total, cerca de R$ 114 milhões vieram das vendas de opções no cardápio de pão, carne e queijo (e acompanhamentos).

Com combos a partir de R$ 44,90, a rede de restaurantes consegue oferecer preços competitivos pelo seu poder de compra com fornecedores. Por mês, a rede compra cerca de 200 toneladas de carne.

"Com o grande volume, conseguimos negociar os preços e entregar ingredientes com maior qualidade com preços mais baixos", explica o diretor.

O Mania de Churrasco é beneficiado também do bom momento do mercado de hambúrgueres no Brasil. O número de brasileiros que consumiram fast food chegou a 13,7 milhões no primeiro semestre de 2023, de acordo com a pesquisa Consumer Insights 2023, da Kantar. A compra de hambúrguer cresceu 13% no período.

O que acelerou as vendas de lanches?

Boa parte do ganho de participação vem de medidas adotadas nos últimos anos. No final de 2022, todas as lojas passaram por um retrofit que incluiu a atualização dos logos para incluir a palavra "burger" e mais destaque para os lanches. A rede de restaurantes se chama Mania de Churrasco Prime Steak & Burger há quatro anos, mas algumas lojas ainda tinham o layout antigo. O investimento foi de R$ 3 milhões.

A iniciativa trouxe um incremento de 15% nas vendas de hambúrgueres em apenas um ano . Em 2023, foram vendidos cerca de 1,5 milhão de lanches nos 100 restaurantes da rede. Para esse ano, a companhia aposta no fortalecimento dos combos para seguir crescendo. "É a estratégia mais utilizada pelos concorrentes", diz Camelo.

A qualidade dos produtos também foi aprimorada, com a introdução de pão brioche crocante, além de melhorias na qualidade do queijo e lançamento de novos lanches.

No delivery, a companhia adotou uma estratégia comum no mercado: criou uma página específica para vender os hambúrgueres. Assim, os lanches da marca entram na categoria de hambúrgueres e, consequentemente, são mais vendidos. Com o Churrasco Burger, as vendas de lanches no delivery passaram a representar 15% do total.

A marca também tem utilizado festivais para popularizar a marca, como o lanche com carne de porco Pulled Pork. "Queremos nos tornar referência também em hambúrguer", diz Camelo.

Rumo aos R$ 580 milhões

O bom desempenho da rede nos últimos anos está ligado ao crescimento das unidades com salão . Fundado em 2001, a primeira loja do Mania de Churrasco foi inaugurada no Shopping Ibirapuera, centro de compras tradicional localizado na zona sul da capital paulista. O restaurante tinha como conceito Buffet & Pizza, que conta com chef de cozinha e sistema self service, com opções de saladas, pratos quentes e churrasco.

Em 2012, os sócios Alessandro Pereira, Filliphe e Thiago Camelo e Luis Yamanishi criaram um novo modelo de negócio, que poderia ser replicado de maneira consistente. A franquia da rede, também com foco em praça de alimentação, reúne pratos com cortes de carnes nobres e acompanhamentos.

Com investimento a partir de 2,5 milhões de reais , a rede de franquias está em expansão e hoje trabalha com dois modelos: balcão em praças de alimentação e loja com salão.

O modelo com salão, mais confortável e com um brinquedo em formato de labirinto para crianças, tem impulsionado o crescimento da rede nos últimos anos e é a principal aposta de expansão da companhia. Hoje, há cerca de 30 unidades nesse modelo. Dez novas unidades com salão devem ser inauguradas em 2024, ano no qual a companhia espera faturar R$ 580 milhões com churrasco e claro, hambúrguer.
