Your Trip Committee has been working hard to bring you another wonderful schedule of trips. Dates and destinations are firm for all, with a very slight chance of some price or airline changes on a few trips. July 1 is the tentative date to start selling trips. Most of the trip pages are created by Sports America, the rest by TBSSB. These trips will go live to preview beforehand when they are ready. Here's a PDF of the trip list to keep handy.

Trip Preview and Registration Tutorial The link below will open a video tutorial to guide you through how to use our new online registration system. It tells you how to simply read all about a trip (preview it) without signing up, and how to sign up for the trip (register) when and if you're ready. The online system is quite easy and self-explanatory so it's not necessary to watch the video first. It's provided in case you would rather view it to see what you will encounter before you dive in. Board Member Corner

Hello TBSSB travelers, I am Peter Doten the Trip Committee Chair for the 2024-2025 season. I recently returned from Mountain Travel Symposium where I met many industry reps and other club leaders from around the country. These sessions and discussions provided a wealth of information that can be leveraged to make our great club even better. We are putting together a great slate of trips for the 2024-2025 season including some destinations we haven't been to in several years. Keep your eyes peeled on our website, email newsletter (Sitzmark) and social media channels for more information.

I have also taken on the role of the club's Technology Administrator for the last several seasons. This has led to better record keeping with the club and allowing our trip leaders to spend more time doing what they do best...planning and running great trips. I hope to see you out on the slopes this season!

Tampa Bay Ski Club also does customized ski vacations for individuals, families and small groups. Custom trips for large groups, clubs, civic and business organizations are a specialty. Trip escorts and on-site coordinators are also available. Great trips at great prices!

Tampa Bay Ski Club Trip Leaders

Welcome to the Trip Leaders Section of our Web Site! These hard working, fun loving people will be very important to you. If you have never been on one of our trips, this is what you can expect from your trip leader...

Before you go they are hard at work planning activities and social events for you to enjoy on the trip. Each has been to the resort before so you are getting first hand information. The leaders are available to you as a source for information about the resort, the lodging, the transportation and the special activities planned.

On the way to the resort, they assist with boarding, check in, bus transportation and general information about the trip schedule or events. At the resort they assist with check in, lift ticket distribution and rental equipment. Then the fun begins! There will be Welcome Receptions, Happy Hours, picnics, parties, even a full dinner on most trips! Each leader is different; each has their own knack for entertaining. But they are always looking out for their travelers and making sure they all have a good time. And then on the few occasions when “Murphy’s Law” is in effect, they are there to help.

A couple of things they are not are:  baby sitters, nursemaids, bookkeepers, baggage handlers, dishwashers or ski instructors. All travelers are urged to work together to make the trip more fun for everyone.  We are pleased to have such a dedicated, experienced group of leaders, look them over and join us for a great ski trip!
