Strictly Come Dancing legends to reunite for nostalgic show - here's how to get tickets
The Legends of the Dance Floor tour later this year will bring together former Strictly Come Dancing stars Brendan Cole, Ian Waite, James Jordan, Pasha Kovalev and Vincent Simone
- 12:25, 13 May 2024
A group of former Strictly Come Dancing stars are set to unite for a new show that promises to be a "nostalgic celebration" of various dance styles in the coming months.
The Legends of the Dance Floor tour will bring together Brendan Cole , Ian Waite , James Jordan , Pasha Kovalev and Vincent Simone . They have previously headlined their own solo shows but haven't toured as a five-piece group.
The professional dancers - who are each no longer on the BBC show - are set to team up for the 18-date tour later this year. Joined by a supporting cast, it's been teased that they will take audiences on a journey through their careers.
Brendan, who did Strictly from 2004 to 2017, said: "We are going to produce something very special and very unique." The dancer, who won with newsreader Natasha Kaplinsky , added: "I'm really excited to see what we produce on that stage because I know it's going to be something really magical."
Whilst Pasha, who was a cast member from 2011 to 2018, said: "This show is for anyone who loves dancing." The former participant, who won with the late presenter Caroline Flack , added: "We are going back to our roots, back to traditional ballroom and Latin dancing, it's going to be so much fun on stage."
Vincent, who appeared on Strictly from 2006 until 2012, teased: "There is going to be lots of glamour and lots of passion." The dancer, who was a finalist with singer Rachel Stevens , continued: "There will be so much talent on one stage, not just from us five but also from our amazing cast."
James was a dancer on the BBC show from 2006 until his departure in 2013, having reached the final with presenter Denise van Outen at one point. Ian, who was a cast member from 2004 to 2009, was finalist with contestants including athlete Denise Lewis during his time on the show.
The group's show, Legends of The Dance Floor, is set to entertain audiences nationwide from October 1 to 22. The tour includes a performance at London 's Adelphi Theatre on October 8, and will visit various other venues too.
A synopsis for it teases: "In what promises to be a nostalgic celebration of Latin, ballroom, tango, rumba and so much more, the dance stars will be joined by an incredible supporting cast as they take us on a journey through their illustrious careers and Strictly highlights while reminiscing on how they became your Legends of The Dance Floor."
It's been announced that tickets go on sale next Monday (May 20) at 10am. Organisers have shared that fans can now sign up for "exclusive" pre-sale ticket access, which is said to end later this week on Thursday (May 16), for the tour.
Tickets will be available through Ticketmaster , including pre-sale. Organisers have also announced that tickets will be available through "all venues" themselves and fans can sign up for "exclusive presale access" on the tour's website .

Taylor Swift ‘Eras Tour 2024′: See the complete list of concert changes during her European shows

You can safely say that all Swifties are “Down Bad” for the new version of the “Eras Tour.”
The last time Taylor Swift hit the “Eras Tour” stage in Singapore, it was just a month before she released her newest album “The Tortured Poets Department .”
So, when Swift began the European leg of her “Eras Tour” in Paris, France, fans were anxiously waiting to see how she would implement the new album into her already jam packed set .
All in all, Taylor Swift did not disappoint on Night 1 of her Paris shows.
From new outfits to axed songs and new songs, there has been plenty to talk about and fangirl over, and anticipation has only grown for the rest of the European shows to see what else Taylor Swift has up her sleeve.
Here are all the changes Taylor Swift has made to the European leg of the “Eras Tour” so far.
Taylor Swift ‘Eras Tour’ changes
‘tortured poets’ added to the intro mash-up of albums.
Every Swiftie who has either been to the “Eras Tour” or has watched every concert video on TikTok has the introduction of album titles memorized by heart. That’s so much so that when the TTPD title was added to the intro , fans immediately freaked out.
Besides the album title, she added the line in the intro, “What if i told you I’m back?” which is from her song “imgonnagetyouback.”
Costume changes
There were several new costume changes throughout the night, which is one of the first extensive major outfit changes Swift has done across all eras since she announced “1989 (Taylor’s Version).”
First, during the “Lover” set, Swift hit the stage in a sparkly orange bodysuit and matching boots , which left fans, including me, in awe. She then put on a matching oversized blazer when she began performing “The Man.”
Then, during the “Fearless” set, Swift donned a new fringe dress very reminiscent of a black and grey one she wore during her 2009 “Fearless” tour .
During the “Red” era, Swift wore a new T-shirt that said “This IS NOT Taylor’s Version.” During her Paris Night 2 show, she went with a “I Bet You Think About Me” shirt .
The direct references to her past tours did not end there.
For “Speak Now,” Swift came out in a stunning new gown , which had the audience stunned. It was a faded lilac color with a ribbon pattern of gold sequins and rhinestones wrapping around the entire dress.
This gown was a direct reference to an outfit she wore during her 2011 “Speak Now” world tour.
For her “Folklore” and “Evermore” sets, Swift combined the two dresses into one. Generally, the Folklore dresses have very billowy sleeves and skirt layers that swish around as she spins across the stage while singing “August.” The “Evermore” dresses usually give off more of a fall vibe as they are more yellow, brown and rust colored.
To combine the two, Swift donned a beautiful dress in the shade of yellow , which she used for both sets. For her Night 2 show in Paris, she wore a bright fuchsia dress.
Next was the “1989″ set, where she came out in a completely new look . Swift took the stage in a bright turquoise skater skirt, which is something she wore quite often in 2015 when the album came out. She also wore a pink sparkly halter top and a mismatched pair of blue and pink Christian Louboutin ankle boots.
For Paris Night 2, she wore a purple skirt and orange top .
For the surprise song set, Swift wore a new pink dress and a new fringe bodysuit for the “Midnights” set, which closes out the show.
As much as we were dreading it, we knew song cuts would have to happen in order to add new songs to the set. The songs that were axed from the set were, “The Archer”, “Long Live”, “Tis the Damn Season”, “Tolerate It”, “The 1″ and “The Last Great American Dynasty”.
Set order change
If you have been to an “Eras Tour” show in the past, then get ready for a change up in the set.
The new order of “Eras” performed at the show is now, “Lover,” ”Fearless,” “Red,” ”Speak Now,” “Reputation,” ”Folklore” and “Evermore” as one combined set, “1989,″ ”The Tortured Poets Department,” surprise songs and ”Midnights.”
New ‘Speak Now’ visuals
This set now begins with a long, choreographed number while instrumentals from her “Speak Now” album play in the background.
There are also very purple new visuals playing as Taylor performs.
‘The Tortured Poets Department’ enters the ‘Eras Tour’ universe
This is what every fan watching through a TikTok livestream or live in concert has been waiting for.
The TTPD set comes right after “1989″ with literary themed visuals sprawling across the screens before Taylor and her dancers came out. There was new choreography , costumes and of course, a huge range of new songs.
As she sang, there were black and white visuals of stained glass, a haunted house, alien spaceships and the asylum from the “Fortnight” music video.
There was also a platform that moved around the stage as Taylor sang on it, which is something fans have not yet seen before on her tour.
Halfway through the set, Swift’s dancers lifted her while old timey, black and white film music played in the background and as she changed into a new gold and black outfit .
Here is the setlist for the new era:
- “But Daddy I Love Him” and “So High School” mash-up
- ”Who’s Afraid of Little Old Me?“
- “Fortnight”
- ”The Smallest Man Who Ever Lived”
- ”I Can Do It With a Broken Heart”
New ‘Eras Tour’ merchandise
The next best things after seeing Taylor Swift live is getting your hands on new tour merchandise.

The leaders are underway for the 106th PGA Championship's final round, with several contenders for the Wanamaker Trophy at Valhalla Golf Club in Louisville, Kentucky.
Collin Morikawa and Xander Schauffele shared the 54-hole lead at 15 under, with Sahith Theegala one stroke back. Shane Lowry, Viktor Hovland and Bryson DeChambeau were two strokes off the pace.
Keep it here for updates from the final round of the 106th PGA Championship, which airs live on CBS from 1-7 p.m. ET.
5:55 p.m.: After a par at the short par-4 13th, Xander Schauffele strikes a terrific long iron from 238 yards to 13 feet on the long par-3 14th, but he can't convert the birdie. Schauffele stays 20 under, one clear of Viktor Hovland (who makes par on No. 16) and now Bryson DeChambeau, who stuffs a 219-yard approach to 3 feet on No. 16 and converts the birdie.
It has become a three-horse race down the stretch at Valhalla, as four players share fourth place at 15 under, five off the lead.
5:45 p.m.: The birdies are coming in bunches now. Undeterred by Viktor Hovland's charge from two groups ahead, Xander Schauffele stripes a 206-yard approach to 7 feet on the long par-4 12th and converts the birdie. Schauffele reaches 20 under, one clear of Viktor Hovland, who makes back-to-back pars on Nos. 14 and 15.
Hovland's playing partner Bryson DeChambeau stands 18 under, two shots back.
5:25 p.m.: Things continue to heat up at Valhalla. Viktor Hovland drains a 15-foot birdie at the short par-4 13th, taking the solo lead at 19 under. Moments later, Xander Schauffele responds with an 8-foot birdie par-3 11th, regaining a share of the lead.
Playing alongside Hovland, Bryson DeChambeau makes a 7-foot birdie at No. 13 to reach 18 under. He remains one stroke off the pace.
• Viktor Hovland -19 (13) • Xander Schauffele -19 (11) • Bryson DeChambeau -18 (13) • Justin Rose -16 (14)
5:10 p.m.: Just like that, chaos has entered the chat.
Moments after Viktor Hovland drains an 8-foot birdie at the par-4 12th, Xander Schauffele fails to get-up-and-down from the back fringe at the par-5 10th. Schauffele misses his 5-footer for par, as he looks to pull it slightly and it lips out on the left side.
Schauffele and Hovland share the lead at 18 under. Bryson DeChambeau, playing the 13th hole, is one shot back.
After four birdies in five holes, Justin Rose now stands solo fourth at 16 under, two shots back. Rose is playing the 14th hole.
4:45 p.m.: Xander Schauffele's putter is hot Sunday at Valhalla, which bodes well for his hopes on the back nine.
Schauffele makes an 11-foot birdie at the par-4 ninth, moving to 19 under for the week. He's two clear of Viktor Hovland and Bryson DeChambeau, who each made birdie at the par-5 10th to reach 17 under. Collin Morikawa and Justin Rose share fourth place at 15 under.
Schauffele is in the driver's seat, chasing his first major title.
4:20 p.m.: Xander Schauffele looks unflappable early in his final round at Valhalla. He gets up-and-down from a greenside bunker at the par-5 seventh hole, draining an 11-footer, to assume a two-stroke lead. Schauffele stands 18 under, two clear of Bryson DeChambeau and Viktor Hovland, each playing the ninth hole.
Schauffele's playing partner Collin Morikawa stands solo fourth at 15 under.
4:00 p.m.: After missing the green at the par-4 sixth and a mediocre pitch shot, Xander Schauffele drills a 14-foot par putt to maintain the solo lead. He's 17 under, one clear of Bryson DeChambeau (who fails to take advantage of the par-5 seventh, making par) and Viktor Hovland, who makes a 20-foot birdie at No. 7.
Collin Morikawa and Shane Lowry are two back, with Lee Hodges now just three back after birdies on Nos. 7, 8 and 9.
3:40 p.m.: The Texas wedge is good to Bryson DeChambeau, who drains a 38-foot birdie with putter from right of the par-4 sixth green. DeChambeau now stands solo second at 16 under, one back of Xander Schauffele, who two-putts for par at No. 5.
3:30 p.m.: Xander Schauffele's lead is now two. He gets up-and-down from 54 yards on the short par-4 fourth, pitching to 5 feet and converting. Schauffele is now 17 under, two clear of playing partner Collin Morikawa, Shane Lowry (through five) and Bryson DeChambeau (through five).
Sahith Theegala has fallen back to 13 under after bogeys on Nos. 2 and 5.
3:15 p.m.: After a crafty up-and-down from the greenside bunker at the par-4 second, Xander Schauffele stuffs his tee shot to 7 feet at the par-3 third but can't convert. He stays 16 under, one clear of Collin Morikawa, who gets up-and-down for par from 80 yards at No. 2 after a wayward tee shot and two-putts for par at No. 3.
Shane Lowry gets up-and-down for birdie at the short par-4 fourth to move to 15 under, one back of Schauffele.
2:50 p.m.: Xander Schauffele doesn't look fazed by the pressure of chasing his first major title. He drains a 27-foot birdie at the opening hole, taking the solo lead at 16 under. He's one ahead of his playing partner Morikawa (who two-putted for par on No. 1) and Theegala, who is one group ahead.
2:40 p.m.: Sahith Theegala didn't waste any time in catching up. Trailing by one into the final round, he drains a 55-foot birdie at the 500-yard, par-4 first hole. He moves to 15 under, tied with 54-hole co-leaders Xander Schauffele and Collin Morikawa, who have just teed off.
