Billy Joel, Stevie Nicks to perform at Arrowhead Stadium

KANSAS CITY, Mo. (KCTV) - Two rock and roll legends are coming to Arrowhead Stadium. Billy Joel and Stevie Nicks will perform at GEHA Field on Saturday, Aug. 19, 2023.

Chiefs head coach Andy Reid made an unusual announcement during his Friday news conference, letting everyone know of the concert.

“A little bit outside my box, but I enjoy their music for sure,” Reid said during the announcement. “I’m pumped up for them to be here and our people here in Kansas City will be fired up, too.”

It’ll be the first time that the duo has ever performed on the same stage in the state of Missouri.

Stevie Nicks Extends North American Tour With 12 Additional Dates

Stevie Nick’s headlining North American tour kicks off next week in Atlantic City, but the singer and songwriter is already eager to play even more shows. On Monday, Nicks announced the addition of 12 new dates to the already expansive run, now scheduled to conclude in June rather than March as originally planned.

The new dates run from May 7 through June 18 and include stops in St. Louis, Nashville, Salt Lake City, Denver, Albany, Hershey, Grand Rapids, and more.

Stevie Nicks has extended her 2023 touring plans to include 14 solo dates across the US.

The tour, produced by Live Nation , will kick off on March 15 at Climate Pledge Arena in Seattle, and make stops in Las Vegas, San Francisco and more, before concluding on June 27 in Louisville, Kentucky at the KFC Yum! Center. These dates are in addition to the eight previously announced joint headlining stadium dates with Billy Joel .

Joel and Nicks are set to play their first co-headlining date at the SoFi Stadium in Los Angeles on March 10 and their last appearance will be on Nov. 10 at U.S. Bank Stadium in Minneapolis.

The Rock and Roll Hall of Famer appears to have a busy, fruitful year ahead of her. Aside from her tour announcement, Nicks will appear on Dolly Parton’s highly anticipated rock album , which will also feature household names and stars like Paul McCartney, John Fogerty and Brandi Carlile, among others.

A Kansas City hair salon was in for quite the surprise Thursday when a special guest arrived for an after hours appointment.

Stevie Nicks, yes, that Stevie Nicks, spent three hours getting styled inside of Hair Salon KC in Westport with her personal stylist, according to the Salon . The Salon wrote on Instagram, "As they were finishing up she asked if we had something for her to sign (we weren’t even considering asking because I was obviously just going to save everything she touched), but this came off the wall, and she spent her precious time making us our new sign that you’ll see as soon as you walk in. She told us that ‘75 was one of the best years… it’s the year she joined Fleetwood Mac." Some of the Salon team even got free tickets to the concert! Dreams do come true.

Stevie Nicks reschedules Denver concert at Ball Arena because of illness

D ENVER (KDVR) — Singer-songwriter Stevie Nicks has rescheduled her Thursday concert at Denver’s Ball Arena and will instead perform on Saturday, June 1, according to the venue on social media .

The change was because of illness, and all previously bought tickets will be honored at the new date.

The Rock and Roll Hall of Famer added 12 new shows to her 2024 tour because of high demand, including a stop in the Mile High City.

Tickets to the show are still available through Ticketmaster . Resale tickets start at $144 and go all the way up to $3,995 for a front-row seat.

The show will start at 7 p.m. and the doors will open at 6 p.m.
