Saves not working in Star Trek Online

By analogy with the previous solution, check for free space on HDD - both on where the game is installed, and the system drive. Often your saves are stored in a folder of documents, which is separate from the game itself.

Controls not working in Star Trek Online

Sometimes the controls in game do not work because of the simultaneous connection of multiple input devices. Try disabling gamepad, or, if for some reason, you have two connected keyboards or mouses, leave only one pair of devices. If your gamepad does not work, remember - the games usually officially support only native Xbox controllers. Fixed: Star Trek Online Server Not Responding

One of the most common issues players experience when playing  Star Trek Online  is an unresponsive server. When this happens, players may find themselves unable to log in or even play the game. 

Fortunately, there are a few things that can be done to fix this issue. Here is a list of all the things our gamers have done:

Star Trek Online Server Not Responding Issue: 4 Surefire Fixes

Fix #1: check if there was any error during installation.

When installing Star Trek Online, there is always the possibility of an error occurring. If this is the case, it could be causing the “server not responding” error message. 

It’s important to check the installation log to see if there were any errors during the installation process. If there were any errors, they should be resolved before attempting to log in to the game.

Fix #2: Temporarily Disable Firewall or Antivirus Software

In some cases, the firewall or antivirus software may be blocking the game from connecting to the server. If this is the case, it’s recommended to temporarily check your firewall or antivirus software settings so that the game can connect to the server. 

Once the game is connected, the firewall or antivirus software can be re-enabled.

Fix #3: Check Whether There is Enough Space on the HDD for the Installation

In some cases, Star Trek Online may not be responding due to a lack of space on the hard drive. Before installing the game, make sure there is enough space available on the hard drive for the game to be installed. 

If there is not enough space, try deleting some unnecessary files to free up space.  Additionally, it’s always a good idea to clear out the hard drive’s recycle bin to make sure there is no unnecessary data taking up space. 

Once there is enough space on the hard drive, the game should be able to install properly.

Fix #4: Delete the Game and Run the Installer Again

If the above solutions did not fix this server  issue, then the best option is to delete the game and run the installer again. This will ensure that all of the game files are correctly installed and are not corrupted. 

After doing this, the game should be able to connect to the server without any issues.  If the issue persists, then it may be necessary to contact the game’s support team [ 1 ] for further assistance.

If Star Trek Online is not responding, there are several solutions players can try in order to fix the issue. It’s important to check the installation log for any errors, temporarily disable the firewall or antivirus software.

Afterward, make sure there is enough space on the hard drive, and delete the game and run the installer again.  If none of these solutions work, immediately contact the game’s customer support team for further assistance.
