State Bank Smart Payout Card is a prepaid Card issued in Indian Rupees in association with VISA. It is an ideal product for making periodical payments like salary, wages, commission, etc and also can be issued as an add-on Card for the existing account holders.

Maximum load at any point of time cannot exceed Rs.10000/-.Re-loadable with a load/reload limit of Rs. 10,000/- with monthly ceiling of Rs.25, 000/- ( Maximum limit up to Rs.10000/- per transaction and Rs.25000/- per month)

i) At Point of Sale (POS) in Merchant Establishments

ii) At any merchant site accepting VISA Cards for e-Commerce txns

i) For Individuals: Maximum 3 Cards per account for fully KYC complied account.(excluding current account)

ii) For Corporate: No limit(subject to one card per person)

ii) FOR CORPORATES: The Cards .will be loaded/ reloaded only by debit to the accounts, maintained by such Corporate with the Bank.

A user can request up to 10 gift cards in a month for an account and at any point of time maximum 10 cards can be active.

The gift card can be topped up for only once at Branch or through INB

State Bank Foreign Travel Card is a prepaid Foreign Currency Card which travellers going abroad are guaranteed to find useful. It is a Chip based Card which stores encrypted and confidential information. It offers you a convenient and secure way to carry cash anywhere in the world (valid worldwide except in India, Nepal and Bhutan).

SBFTC is available in nine Foreign Currencies viz. US Dollars (USD), Pound Sterling (GBP), Euro (EUR), Canadian Dollar (CAD), Australian Dollar (AUD), Japanese Yen (JPY), Saudi Riyal (SAR), Singapore Dollar (SGD) and United Arab Emirates Dirham (AED).

1. Any bonafide citizen of India who plans to travel abroad (except to Nepal & Bhutan) Corporate who sends their employees abroad for official purpose subject to completion of KYC norms 2. Parents /sponsors of the students going abroad for higher studies, in the student’s name and can be subsequently reloaded up to the statutory ceiling prescribed from time to time. 3. Foreign national residing in India subject to completion of KYC norms.

You can recharge the card at the state bank of India branch from where the you had purchased the card or any branch authorized (list available at: https://prepaid.sbi ) to issue foreign travel card (SBFTC) through the authorized representative.

The State Bank eZ-Pay card, a prepaid card issued in Indian Rupees in association with VISA international, is an ideal product for making periodical payments like Salary, Wages, Commission, Scholarship, Old age pension, other Social benefits etc. Payment of salaries to employees, who are located at different places, is generally a difficult proposition for employers as a single banking arrangement cannot be made for all employees.

ii) Maximum Cash withdrawal from State Bank ATMs Rs.40,000 per day. Point of Sales and e- comm Transactions- maximium up to the balance available in the card..

State Bank Foreign Travel Card is available in two variants.

  • On the Visa platform, this card is available as a single currency card in eight international currencies. The supported currencies are US Dollars(USD), Pound Sterling (GBP), Euro (EUR), Canadian Dollar (CAD), Australian Dollar (AUD), Japanese Yen (JPY), Saudi Riyal (SAR) and Singapore Dollar (SGD).

State Bank Multi-Currency Foreign Travel Card is a prepaid forex card by SBI. As it is a prepaid card, unlike credit cards, it has to be loaded before it can be used for making purchases. As the name of the card itself suggests, it is a multi-currency card, i.e. it can be loaded in 7 different currencies including some of the most widely used ones like USD, Euro, Dirham, etc.

Although there is no annual fee chargeable for the card’s membership, an initial issuance fee of Rs. 100 (plus GST) is to be paid at the time of issuance of the card, which is comparatively lower than that for the forex cards by the likes of HDFC and Axis Bank. Fees and Charges

  • You have to pay an initial fee of Rs. 100 (plus GST) at the time of card issuance. No annual membership fee is applicable on the card.
  • A reloading fee of Rs. 50 is chargeable every time the card is reloaded.
  • No foreign currency mark-up fee is applicable on transactions made in the currency loaded on the card. However, a cross-currency usage fee of 3% of the transaction amount is chargeable on transactions made in a currency other than the one loaded on the card.
  • An ATM withdrawal fee of USD 1.75 is charged every time the card is used for cash withdrawal from an ATM.

Loading/Reloading State Bank Multi-Currency Foreign Travel Card

State Bank Multi-Currency Foreign Travel Card can be reloaded by visiting any of the FTC (Foreign Travel Card) issuing SBI branches and submitting the prescribed application form along with form A2 and copies of your passport and PAN Card.

You can also authorize any of your family members to reload your Foreign Travel Card while you are on an international trip. The family member will be required to produce an authorizing letter duly signed by you along with copies of your passport and PAN card when they visit an SBI branch to reload your card.

Supported Currencies

State Bank Multi-Currency Foreign Travel Card can be loaded/reloaded in any of the following seven currencies- USD, Euro, Pound, Singapore Dollar, Canadian Dollar, UAE Dirham, and Australian Dollar.

You can apply for the State Bank Multi-Currency Foreign Travel Card by visiting your nearest FTC (Foreign Travel Card) issuing SBI branch (see a detailed list of all FTC issuing branches here ). You will need to submit copies of your passport and PAN card at the time of applying for the card.

Depending upon the variant of the card, the daily cash withdrawal limit ranges from ₹ 20,000 to ₹ 1 lakh. With effect from 1st July, SBI has revised its ATM withdrawal rules . SBI ATM cash withdrawal with OTP

SBI has extended one-time password ( OTP)-based cash withdrawal for ₹ 10,000 and above throughout the day across all its ATMs in the country with effect from 18 September. For this, you will have to enter the OTP sent by the bank on your registered mobile number. If you fail to do so, the transaction will get cancelled. "Your transactions at SBI ATMs are now more secure than ever. SBI extends OTP based cash withdrawal facility to 24x7 for amount ₹ 10,000 and above from 18.09.2020," country's top lender had tweeted.

Recently, SBI had launched new facility for debit card users to help curb the ATM frauds which have been on the rise. The bank had alerted its customers to be cautious and not to ignore SMS alerts regarding balance enquiry or mini-statement when the request is not initiated by them.

The bank offers 7 types of different debit cards for customers. The ATM withdrawal limit is different for different cards. SBI ATM Withdrawal Limit 2024

State Bank of India provides  withdrawals between Rs. 40,000 to Rs. 1 lakh using debit cards at ATMs. As per the bank, it allows up to 5 free ATM withdrawals in a month. SBI account holders have to pay additional charges if they exceed this limit.

SBI has  not declared any specific monthly withdrawal limit via ATM. However, you should follow the daily limit for hassle-free withdrawals. Remember that you have to pay additional charges beyond the set limit. The charges applied for exceeding the withdrawal limit are Rs. 20 + GST. In case you are completing your transaction from another bank’s ATM, the charge levied on you is Rs. 20 + GST.

SBI ATM Withdrawal Limit per Day for Rupay Card

For  SBI Rupay cards , the  daily minimum withdrawal limit is Rs.100 . The maximum withdrawal limit is Rs. 40,000 through ATM. Make sure you keep this withdrawal limit in mind while transacting from your nearest ATM.

SBI ATM Withdrawal Limit per Day for Visa Card

SBI bank allows  daily withdrawals of Rs. 40,000 , which is the maximum limit  using Visa debit cards . The limit for international visa debit cards is Rs.1,00,000 (maximum). However, you can change the transaction limits of your debit cards by submitting an application to the bank using the SBI Yono mobile app.

SBI ATM Withdrawal Limit Without OTP

For ATM cash withdrawals, SBI allows you to  withdraw up to Rs. 10,000 without the One Time Password (OTP). This rule was implemented to make your ATM transactions more secure. If you are withdrawing more than Rs. 10,000, the bank will send you an OTP on your registered mobile number. After entering the correct OTP, you can withdraw your money. 

SBI ATM Withdrawal Limit With OTP

SBI has added a new layer of security to prevent fraudulent transactions via ATMs. An OTP is sent to your registered mobile number. You need to enter the OTP to verify your identity if you are trying to withdraw above Rs. 10,000. This OTP is valid for withdrawal from ATMs till your debit card’s maximum limit.

SBI ATM Withdrawal Limit for Global Card

SBI Global debit card has a lot of benefits, such as cashless shopping, tap-to-pay payment options, reward points, etc. This debit card can be used internationally to withdraw money through ATMs. For domestic transactions, the minimum and maximum withdrawal limit is  Rs. 100 and Rs. 40,000 respectively. For international transactions, this varies from country to country. However, the maximum limit cannot go beyond Rs. 40,000.

SBI ATM Withdrawal Limit at One-Time

The actual limit depends on the type of debit card you have. You can not withdraw above the maximum amount. The  one-time withdrawal limit from ATMs varies between  Rs. 40,000 to Rs. 1,00,000 . The daily transaction limit can be changed using the SBI Yono mobile application.

The withdrawal limit remains the same for non-SBI Bank ATMs. But you should keep a note that you have to pay additional charges to withdraw money if you cross the benchmark limit set by the bank. After 5 transactions with non-SBI Bank ATMs, you have to pay Rs. 20 + GST additionally for every transaction.

How To Withdraw Cash from SBI ATM?

You can withdraw money from SBI ATM by following these steps.

Step 1: Insert your debit card into the ATM

Step 2: Choose your preferred language

Step 3: Click on the ‘Cash Withdrawal’ option

Step 4 : Select your type of account

Step 5: Enter the amount you want to withdraw

Step 6: Enter your ATM Pin

Step 7: Collect cash and take out your card from the machine

Please note, for ATM transactions above Rs. 10,000 you have to enter the OTP sent to your registered mobile number. Additionally, you can check your daily withdrawal limits for seamless transactions.

Yes. You can withdraw Rs. 40,000 from the SBI ATM at once, but only if you have an international debit card. However, you cannot withdraw this amount if you have exceeded your daily withdrawal limit.

SBI Gold International Debit Card holders can withdraw Rs. 50,000 from the SBI ATM in a day. These debit cards have higher withdrawal limits than other debit cards.

You can withdraw Rs. 50000 from the ATM at once only using specific debit cards such as– SBI Gold International Debit Card. But, in case you are exceeding your daily withdrawal limit, you can not withdraw the amount at once.

The daily limit depends on the type of your debit card. The amount ranges between Rs. 40,000 to Rs. 1,00,000. Being a customer of SBI Bank, you can change the daily transaction limit using the Yono SBI app.

For transactions below Rs. 20,000, you will get 5 free transactions in SBI ATM per month.
