Aladdin tours

We used Aladin tours recently to organise a trip to aswan and Abu simbel. The trip went very well, thanks to Hassan our guide who took time to explain the temples and carvings. He also recommended an excellent Nubian restaurant in Aswan which was the best we visited.

Thank you for writing your kind review. We highly appreciate any feedback in order to improve our services. Hopefully you will visit Egypt in the future again, and it's our pleasure to help you with anything you need. Best Wishes, Aladin

We booked our stay with Nefertiti hotel and asked for recommendations for day tours. We booked Aladin Tours and after the tour we knew why it came so highly recommended. We had a day tour in Luxor with Mansoor. He is very knowledge and goes to great pains to explain everything. We would draw hieroglyphics on the ground to explain names and families, even though we told him it wasn't necessary. He was very enthusiastic and took a lot of photos, sometimes he was more keen on taking our photos than us!! He was flexible with any changes we wanted and he helped us deal with the touts and queues by buying our tickets for us etc. He also came with water bottles to pick us up and this was a godsend in the humid weather.

One of the best tours we took in Egypt! Mohammed was engaging, knowledge and truly fun. We had the best time touring the main sites in Luxor with Aladin Tours. Mohammed and our driver picked us up at the airport (on time with no issues) and even took us out of the way for us to pick up breakfast. The day just got better and better! This was one of my favourite days in Egypt and I would highly recommend Aladin tours. You must request Mohammed though!

It was an early start for us in Luxor—with our guide, Mohammed, and driver, Said, picking us up from the airport at 6 AM! They rolled right along with the early start and we entered Karnak at sunrise with literally NO ONE else there. I could not have felt luckier to even be in the astounding sites of Luxor with so few people and accompanied by a guide who made us feel safe, informed, and comfortable. He was highly knowledgeable, gave us “space” after each site’s tour to explore on our own which was really nice, and gave us lots of funny anecdotes and interesting insights in addition to the rich history of each site. Mohammed told us that he wanted to be a guide since he was a child, because he always loved Egypt and history—that is passion, not just a job, and it showed in the love he portrayed through each story and site!

We took an full day trip in Luxor with guide Mansour Hussein which covered all the historical highlights of Luxor in one day! It was impossibile or us to do it alone even if we have thought to do that. Especially with the perfect guideness of Mansour Hussein we were able to understand and appreciate a lot each moment. Mansour Hussein Is a very prepared and professional guide, with perfect English, and Ancient Egyption knowledge (he was practically able to to translate all the Egyption cartouches) as well as extreme kindness and thoughtfullness! We really felt like we went back in time thousands of years and the tour worth each penny! We strongly recommend it to all our friends! Deniz & Rosario (Turkey & Italy )

We booked a two-day tour with Aladin Tours through the desk at Nefertiti Hotel, to include a guide and driver for both. We started the first day early (5:30 start!) to join the sunrise hot-air balloon experience starting from the west bank and floated across the city as it started to wake up. Seeing the sun rise over Luxor and the mountains turn from dark to red to golden was amazing! We were then picked up and spent the day driving around the west bank sights - Colossi of Memnon, Valley of the Kings, Hatshepsut's Temple, Worker's Tomb (this is a must see!) and the Tombs of the Nobles. The second day was spent on the east bank, exploring Luxor Temple, the amazing Luxor Museum and Karnak Temple. Karnak Temple especially is absolutely amazing - you really feel like you're in the presence of Amun-Ra when standing amongst the columns! Throughout the tour the guide was knowledgeable and more than willing to answer any questions we had; he was also extremely patient while we tried to remember exactly which gods were which and where the various pharaohs and families fit in to the story. No request was too much trouble and the occasional visit to a local supermarket (amazing how much water you end up drinking) was always quickly organised and the guide helped to ensure we were paying the right price for everything. Overall it was an excellent tour with good humour throughout and a very professional attitude.

Aladin tours

We were visit Valley of the King and Hatshepsut with the guid Rania and we had driver Ziko. Rania told really very much about the history, she was very friendly. We were very happy with her. When we come back we will ask for Rania. Ziko the driver had a good car, was friendly too. Thank you so much. Petra from Holland.

Dear Petra, Great to hear you had a fantastic time with our guide Rania and driver Ziko. You are more then welcome. Greetings, Aladin

We had the good fortune to take several day tours with Shiama Rabie and Aladin Tours. She's a knowledgeable Egyptologist with a degree from the University of Cairo, speaks excellent English, and is very personable with a good sense of humor. Initially we just signed up for for the Karnak, Luxor Temple and Luxor Museum Tour, but were so impressed with Shiama and Aladin Tours that we ended up booking 3 additional tours (West Bank 1 - Valley of the Kings, Valley of the Queens, and Colossi Memnon; Dendara; and Edfu). All were excellent. Both Aladin Tours and Shiama were flexible with pick up times and tour schedules to reflect our needs and interests. The drivers were good and all the arrangements went very smoothly. I would highly recommend Aladin Tours and requesting Shiama as your guide.

Dear Lynn, Thank you for writing such a kind words about our travel agency and guide Shaima! It's a big compliment to us you booked tours because you were so satisfied. Best regards, Aladin

Our guide, Shiama Rabie, in addition to being engaging and fluent in English, provided as much information as we could desire, and was extremely efficient, making our visit seem effortless at these large, complex and beautiful sites. Her knowledgeable introduction to the sites and the detailed information about all the points visited, relating them to the overview and history covered earlier, made it easy to assimilate the information. Highly recommend Shiama as a guide. We've signed up for the Valley of the Kings/Hatshepsut Temple/Valley of the Queens tomorrow.

Dear Martin, The Egyptian history is quit complex. In order to connect all the pieces to make the puzzle, you really need a good guide. I'm glad you find this in Shaima. Hopefully the Valley of the Kings was a great experience to! Best wishes, Aladin

I contacted Aladin Tours asking for a very knowledgeable guide and visits to specific sites in Luxor. It was the first time I was travelling alone and was very satisfied with their services. I spent two days Luxor and a day in Dendara and Abydos. I had a basic knowledge of Egyptian history and culture. My tour guide, Hassan Sedik, was excellent. He clarified all my doubts and provided extensive explanations to all my questions. I would highly recommend Hassan, not only for his knowledge but also for his professional attitude.

Dear Carmen, How nice you are so interested in Egyptology and choose some special places to go. I'm pleased to hear you were happy with Hassan's services and learned a lot from him. Best regards, Aladin

We had a great time with Rania who was very informative and flexible to our interests. Everything went very smoothly. Would highly recommend!

Dear Jessie, Glad to hear you had a easy going, interesting and smooth trip. Thank you for your recommendation. Best regards, Aladin

I am so grateful to Rania for her excellent guide and flexibility with us. We did a half day tour of the west bank and got to see the Valley of the Kings, Hatshepsut, Deir el-Medina, and the Memnon Colossus, in addition to getting a nice tour of a nearby crafts workshop with beautiful and fair priced products. We had so many questions that our tour went 3 hours over the initial allotted time so we really got more of a full day experience. It was so interesting to learn from someone with deep knowledge of pharaonic history about these sites. Would highly recommend!!

Dear Rosa, It is so nice to lead deeply interested people around. To see your amazed faces, explain the history behind the sites. We feel very blessed this is our job and we can make people happy every day. It was an honor to have you as a guest. Best wishes, Aladin

Real Magic of Magic Carpet Tour and Mehmet Darga

Its been 10 Days where we have come back to India from Turkey but I would say I am still under the magic of Magic carpet tour which we have selected for our trip to Turkey and choosen to take Fez Travel tours. We have been in touch with Mehmet Darga , One of the most quick person I have ever seen who reply at even 11 th hour to our queries while we were booking this tour as well as on the tour. We have selected this tour as it was covering major attraction of Turkey except Antalya but we had some restrictions of days as well as Mehmet advised us not to take this destination because of cold hence we dropped it. Over all our tour was fantastic and cherry on the cake was our Guide Serdar who was most experience and knowledeble guy so if you are traveling with Fez and if you get Serdar then you are Lucky. Even in last day they have given us another guide Mehmat and he was also very helpful and took us to nice shopping and party places. Super Experience with Mehmat Darga with smooth dealing and traveling !!!

My husband and I took the Two Continents tour with Faruk last week in Istanbul. First of all Faruk was very helpful to us and we found all of the information interesting. We enjoyed Faruk's company throughout the tour. He did not rush through any of the sites and asked if we had any questions. We would ask to have Faruk as our guide the next time we are in Istanbul.

Having so much fun in Istanbul. Visited blue mosque, the grand bazaar to name a few. Our tour guide Farouk Isis was awesome, knowledgeable and very helpful. Highly recommend!!

My husband and I booked an overnight trip to Gallipoli and Troy. Faruk Işik was our tour guide. We were picked up at our Sultanahmet hotel in a Mercedes mini bus and were surprised to find that we were the only ones on the tour. We left Istanbul early in the morning and were fortunate to beat rush hour traffic. We enjoyed getting out of the city and seeing the turkish countryside. We arrived in Gallipoli under threatening skies which added to the sadness of the lives lost at the site. The rain was on and off during our tour but we completed the full tour. We then enjoyed a lovely ferry ride over the Dardanelle straits to the city of Çanakkale. Before proceeding to our hotel, we toured the Dardanelles Straits Naval Command Museum. Tours at the museum are given by active duty service men and Faruk was able to find an english speaking tour guide for us. The tour fits well with the visit to Gallipoli and highlights the amazing perseverance of the Turkish army. I hope you add Gallipoli to your list of things to do in Turkey. It is a very emotional visit but one that you will remember. Our hotel in Çanakkale was very nice and the room very big compared to our hotel in Istanbul. We were in the heart of the city with easy access to restaurants and shops. After a wonderful breakfast, we were picked up and taken to a small bazaar for souvenirs. It was a beautiful sunny day and we proceeded to Troy and were fortunate to beat many of the tour buses that came later in the day. Troy was ours and we were able to stroll leisurely through the city with plenty of time for picture taking and learning about the ancient city. Faruk was very knowledgeable about the excavations and we enjoyed the visit. There are other sites in Turkey, like Ephesus that have more to see but Troy is worth a visit. Make sure you take the photos at the end of the tour where you dress as a soldier or queen, we love looking back at them now. Faruk surprised us by offering to take us back to Gallipoli so we could see some sites obscured by the rain on the previous day. We made a quick trip back to Gallipoli and were provided with some breathtaking views of the Aegean and a better perspective of some of the Gallipoli sites. Then we headed back to Istanbul. Our driver Sefir is to be commended for his efforts as well to deal with the traffic and to get us to some Gallipoli sites that would have been difficult to traverse in the rain. I was amazed how he could maneuver our mini bus through the dense Istanbul traffic. My only regret is that our time in Istanbul was coming to an end and we did not have time to book another trip with Faruk. I encourage you to request him, you will not be disappointed.

Faruk Isik of Fez Travel made my day tour in Istanbul very pleasant. Tour guides sometimes just want to do the least possible, show you the place tell you a few things and go. Faruk took time to make our day trips pleasant even though it was in the winter and very cold and snowing. The tourists pay for a tour guide not someone that will rush to finish and go home. Thanks Faruk, You did a great job as a tour guide. I hope to come back and see some of you and do some more tours in warmer weather .

We joined the full day tour of Istanbul where we visited several landmarks such as the the blue mosque, grand bazaar, aya sofya to name a few. I highly recommend the tour guide, Faruk Isik. When i travel to a new place, i enjoy immersing myself in the culture and history of the places i visit and Faruk Isik facilitated my knowledge and love for Turkish architecture, history and culture. He was very personable, funny, patient and very forthcoming with sharing his knowledge. I look forward to engaging the services of Fez Travel in the future. From my conversations with Faruk, there is still so much of Turkey left to explore! Beautiful country, beautiful people. 10/10.
