The Lumineers Announce Encore ‘Brightside’ Tour

On the road again! After their successful Brightside World Tour last year, the group announced an encore set of shows for this fall.

The band — led by Wesley Schultz and Jeremiah Fraites — is set to open their tour in Maine in mid-August before stopping at several amphitheaters and music festivals, including Aspen’s Jazz Aspen Snowmass festival. Accompanied by James Bay as an opener, they’ll conclude their tour at Los Angeles’ Hollywood Bowl on Sept. 15.

“We’re stoked to be back on the road, playing a run of shows in the US later this year with our good friend @jamesbaymusic,” the group wrote on Instagram.

The tour extension is in support of their 2022 album Brightside , led by singles “Where We Are,” “ A.M. Radio ,” and “Big Shot.”

Last year, they hit the road for 62 stops around the world. It was their first tour after the cancelation of shows from their III: The World Tour, due to Covid. The group made its way around Europe before hitting the road in the U.S. with CAAMP, Ashe, and Bay as openers.

Today,  The Lumineers  have announced an encore run of dates after last year’s massive BRIGHTSIDE World Tour. The shows, produced by Live Nation, will begin August 16 th  at Maine Savings Amphitheater in Bangor, ME and end at the historic  Hollywood Bowl  in Los Angeles, CA on September 15 th . The two-time Grammy nominated Lumineers are touring in support of their fourth album, 2022’s  BRIGHTSIDE . The album was top ten in both the U.S. and Canada and the title track reached Number 1 on Billboard’s Alternative National Airplay and Adult Alternative Airplay charts—the sixth time the band has topped the latter chart in less than 10 years. Last year’s tour saw more than 750,000 tickets sold across five continents, including two sold out stadium shows at Coors Field in Denver and Wrigley Field in Chicago.

BRIGHTSIDE  was produced by longtime collaborator Simone Felice and produced, mixed, and engineered by David Baron over two sessions in winter and spring 2021 at Baron’s Sun Mountain Studios in bucolic Boiceville, NY, The nine-song collection sees The Lumineers’ co-founders/co-songwriters Wesley Schultz and Jeremiah Fraites performing virtually all of the instrumentation.

The Lumineers Announce Summer 2023 Tour Dates

Indie-folk band The Lumineers are hitting the road again this summer in support of their acclaimed 2022 record, Brightside .

Led by founding members Wesley Schultz and Jeremiah Fraites, the award-winning act will kick off the extensive, 18-date headlining tour on Aug. 16 with a stop at Maine Savings Amphitheater in Bangor, Maine. They'll perform at theaters and amphitheaters across the U.S. through mid-September, including appearances in Philadelphia, Salt Lake City and Milwaukee before ending with a set at Los Angeles' historic Hollywood Bowl.

The Lumineers' Brightside Tour Club members can access an exclusive presale beginning Monday, March 6, at 10 AM local time. Fans can also register for a limited artist presale, starting Monday, March 6, at noon local time. The Lumineers have announced North American dates for their Brightside World Tour . The shows begin May 18 at Jacksonville, FL’s Daily’s Place and then continue through early September.

Special guests throughout the tour will include Caamp (May 18-June 17, September 3), Gregory Alan Isakov (July 12-August 16), Daniel Rodriguez (July 12-August 16), and James Bay (August 17-September 6). Additional dates will be announced.

After successfully creating the world’s first major climate positive tour in 2020, The Lumineers are proud to continue their partnership with environmental non-profit REVERB.org, on this year’s tour. The band has committed to a comprehensive climate action program via REVERB’s Music Climate Revolution campaign, which, in addition to reducing the tour’s environmental footprint and engaging fans to take action at the shows, will support projects that directly and measurably eliminate greenhouse gases while benefitting diverse global communities. These efforts will make the tour climate positive; eliminating significantly more greenhouse gas pollution than the tour emits including fan travel to and from shows.

Today, The Lumineers announced that after a successful world tour in support of their album Brightside in 2022 and a bit of rest, they’re ready to start sharing their offering by gearing up for a U.S. tour set for midsummer. The two-time Grammy-award winners will perform over 18 evenings, with multi-night stints in several cities.

The Lumineers will start their tour at the Maine Savings Amphitheater in Bangor, Maine, on Aug.16. After a stay at the Northwell Health at Jones Beach Theater in Wantagh, N.Y., on Aug. 16, the ensemble will head up to Catbird Festival in Bethel, on Aug. 19 and continue to perform at theatres and amphitheaters around the county. The alternative folk band will perform over several nights in Bonner, Mont., Bend, Ore., and Santa Barbra, Calif. they’ll close their tour with a performance at the Hollywood Bowl in Los Angeles on Sept. 15.

James Bay will serve as the opening act throughout their travels. They’ll also kick off the September segment of their tour at Jazz Aspen Snowmass in Aspen, Colo., on Sept. 1.

The Lumineers Announce 2023 Tour Dates

Today, The Lumineers have announced an encore run of dates after last year’s massive BRIGHTSIDE World Tour. The shows will begin August 16th at Maine Savings Amphitheater in Bangor, ME and end at the historic Hollywood Bowl in Los Angeles, CA on September 15th. The run of shows features scenic outdoor amphitheater venues across the country. James Bay will be the opener for the tour. Additionally, the band will be headlining New Orleans Jazz Fest this spring, the Catbird Festival August 19th in Bethel, NY, and Jazz Aspen Snowmass September 1st in Aspen, CO.

The two-time Grammy nominated Lumineers are touring in support of their fourth album, 2022’s BRIGHTSIDE. The album was top ten in both the U.S. and Canada and the title track reached Number 1 on Billboard’s Alternative National Airplay and Adult Alternative Airplay charts—the sixth time the band has topped the latter chart in less than 10 years. Last year’s tour saw more than 750,000 tickets sold across five continents, including two sold out stadium shows at Coors Field in Denver and Wrigley Field in Chicago.

BRIGHTSIDE was produced by longtime collaborator Simone Felice and produced, mixed, and engineered by David Baron over two sessions in winter and spring 2021 at Baron’s Sun Mountain Studios in bucolic Boiceville, NY, The nine-song collection sees The Lumineers’ co-founders/co-songwriters Wesley Schultz and Jeremiah Fraites performing virtually all of the instrumentation.

On June 24, Round Records & ATO Records will release GarciaLive Volume Six: July 5, 1973 – Jerry Garcia & Merl Saunders, the latest installment of the celebrated GarciaLive archival series. The three-CD set was recorded at the 200 capacity Lion’s Share club formerly located in the small town of San Anselmo, CA, just 20 miles north of San Francisco. The performance features Jerry Garcia performing with friend, mentor and legendary keyboardist/vocalist Merl Saunders. The duo is joined by drummer Bill Vitt and bassist John Kahn, who soon became a lifelong Garcia collaborator.

The Lumineers are a Grammy-nominated indie folk band from Denver, Colorado. Led by founding members Wesley Schultz (lead vocals, guitar) and Jeremiah Fraites (drums, percussion, piano), the band is often credited for helping mainstream the Americana genre in the 2010s, the band has cultivated a following thanks to their vivid storytelling, dynamic live shows and catchy choruses. Their 2012 hit “Ho Hey,” from their self-titled debut, reached No. 3 on the Billboard Hot 100. In 2016, they released their second studio album Cleopatra , which debuted at No. 1 on the Billboard 200. The Lumineers headed out on their first headlining arena tour in 2017, and opened for U2 at stadiums on the band's Joshua Tree Tour that same year. The band’s anthemic ballad “Ophelia” also went viral on TikTok in 2020–21, with help from a dancing kangaroo , and introduced the band to a new legion of fans. Lumineers great not the gorge.

The lumineers were great they sounded way better in person. However the gorge was over filled I got a call telling me to come early because traffic and we got there at 4. I would love to see them live again if given the chance but the gorge needs to plan events better and be better at managing

Absolutely magical!!

The Lumineers were amazing! This was the best concert I’ve ever seen. They sound even better in person, they really know how to perform live. And they had some fun little flairs to keep the audience engaged! 10/10 experience. If you like this style music I’d say they’re a must see in person!

disappointed

I heard they had the best seats in the house but not if you have 4 couples that are two rows in front of you one woman was on the big side and stood up the whole concert OMG could not even see the screen ... Loved the sound but people need to be courteous and sit down... In hind sight I should have asked but I have never seen so many people so drunk! Next time I will tell staff that I have paid way to much not to be able to see and see if they could move us

Amazing concert!

We saw them at thunder valley and the concert was absolutely amazing!

Sterile venue

The band played well but the energy felt pretty flat. A few acoustic issues and generally the venue felt a bit sterile. It was tough to feel the mood or energy. Not sure I will return to The Venue and Thunder Valley

Honest Music

No frills, no theatrics, no bull. Music. Straightforward. Incredibly talented musicians who play a variety of instruments. The audience was engaged and felt welcomed. No drama. No egos on stage. Refreshing and honest.

One of the best concerts I’ve ever been to. They are great performers and really connect with the audience.

The Lumineers will perform on Monday, June 26, 2023, starting with 9.00 pm, at the Cavea amphitheater, in Rome , as part of the Roma Summer Fest 2023 .

THE LUMINEERS

Their self-titled debut album was released in 2012 and peaked at No. 2 on the U.S. Billboard 200. It was certified triple platinum in the U.S. and Canada, platinum in the UK and Ireland, and gold in Australia.

Their second album, Cleopatra , was released in 2016 and debuted at No. 1 on the Billboard 200, and also on the Canadian and British album charts.

Their third album, III , was released on September 13, 2019, and debuted at No. 2 on the Billboard 200. Their fourth album, Brightside , was released on January 14, 2022.

Besides these 4 studio albums, the band released seven extended plays, 19 singles, five promotional singles and 19 music videos.

ROMA SUMMER FEST

Roma Summer Fest is a summer music festival produced by the Musica per Roma Foundation in a unique venue – the Auditorium Parco della Musica.

Many important Italian and international artists performed at the previous editions of the festival, such as Elton John, Sting, Bjork, Leonard Cohen, Bob Dylan, Paolo Conte, José Carreras, Patti Smith, Arctic Monkeys, Simple Minds, Ringo Starr, Mogwai, Franz Ferdinand, Steven Tyler, Sting and Shaggy.

THE LUMINEERS ANNOUNCE 2023 TOUR DATES

Today, The Lumineers have announced an encore run of dates after last year’s massive BRIGHTSIDE World Tour. The shows will begin August 16 th at Maine Savings Amphitheater in Bangor, ME with a stop in Milwaukee, WI at the American Family Insurance Amphitheater on August 26, and end at the historic Hollywood Bowl in Los Angeles, CA on September 15 th . The run of shows features scenic outdoor amphitheater venues across the country. James Bay will be the opener for the tour. Additionally, the band will be headlining New Orleans Jazz Fest this spring, the Catbird Festival August 19 th in Bethel, NY, and Jazz Aspen Snowmass September 1 st in Aspen, CO.

Milwaukee World Festival, Inc., (MWF) FPC Live and Mexican Fiesta are joining forces to ensure the community enjoys a weekend of unforgettable live entertainment, while celebrating Mexican Fiesta’s 50 th anniversary celebration, August 25-27, 2023 at Henry Maier Festival Park. Fans who purchase tickets to The Lumineers with special guest James Bay will receive free admission to Mexican Fiesta the day of the show, Saturday, August 26, to celebrate the sounds, culture and taste of México and other Latin American countries.

The two-time Grammy nominated Lumineers are touring in support of their fourth album, 2022’s BRIGHTSIDE . The album was top ten in both the U.S. and Canada and the title track reached Number 1 on Billboard’s Alternative National Airplay and Adult Alternative Airplay charts—the sixth time the band has topped the latter chart in less than 10 years. Last year’s tour saw more than 750,000 tickets sold across five continents, including two sold out stadium shows at Coors Field in Denver and Wrigley Field in Chicago.

BRIGHTSIDE was produced by longtime collaborator Simone Felice and produced, mixed, and engineered by David Baron over two sessions in winter and spring 2021 at Baron’s Sun Mountain Studios in bucolic Boiceville, NY, The nine-song collection sees The Lumineers’ co-founders/co-songwriters Wesley Schultz and Jeremiah Fraites performing virtually all of the instrumentation.

The Lumineers and environmental nonprofit  REVERB.org  are continuing their partnership to reduce the environmental footprint of this year’s tour, empower fan action, and support local and national nonprofits.  As part of their commitment to act on the climate crisis, the band will help fund a REVERB-vetted climate project portfolio that will measurably reduce greenhouse gas pollution and create additional benefits for people and the planet.  Fans are encouraged to join the band’s efforts in the main concourse at every show in the REVERB Action Village.
