Impressive good and very quick service

Great and fast booking service, no issues al hamdu lilah. Brought ticket though kayaks comparison website because Lee had amazing rates and the final price was scured as quote given on kayak. Points to note. My Bank declined payment to Lee's travel with my first payment, but it was not their fault, in fact it is the bank who declines the transaction and then the bank cancels it just to make sure its not suspicious activity on your account. Which means you just have to rebook again straight after cancellation without any issues. This mostly happens on debit cards, you probably find if you use credit cards you may not have this issue so much, or it could just that your bank is strict large transfer amount transactions being verified.

I can only say as I find

I can only say as I find. Saw an incredible return fare from LHR to ADL for March 2019. The price was near £100 cheaper than all the other. I booked online and within minutes received an email confirming order but clearly stating that the carrier may not have seats remaining at this price. Within one hour I received full confirmation of the booking from Lee Travel. I immediately went to Singapore Airlines website and ‘Manage my booking’ option. The booking was showing so confirmed seats. I can only tell you that my experience with Lee Yravel was nothing but exceptional. Looking at the other deprecating reviews I have to admit that I never had to call the company which is where the difficulty seems to be!

No issues with my booking

I purchased a flight to Malaysia as Lee's Travel offered the best deal, I was quick to buy. Having never heard of the company before I noticed really bad reviews on other websites and was quite uneasy about my ticket purchase. I was truly worried that I had lost £600 and was potentially being scammed. I called the company the next day and they confirmed that my booking went through at the price I agreed to pay. The customer service could have been better as the lady was quite short. For me, my experience when ahead without any issues but I know this hasn't been the case for others.

The price is reasonable, however once you've paid don't expect any customer care. They never reply to emails.

Do Not Use Lee Travel absolute garbage, Skyscanners should be held accountable to allow this to happen At present we have some technical issues and are unable to issue any air tickets. We are aware that some customers may have made payment without receiving an air ticket. Lee's Travel/Forever Cruises ceased trading

Dear all, If you are unaware Lee's Travel has just ceased Trading. That is why there are issues. We are in no way affiliated with them, but as an officialy IATA, ABTA and ATOL licensed agent we (Pan Express Travel/Ahoy Cruises/Ahoy Holidays) are permitted to offer rebookings for clients that have either not paid in full or booked within the last 48 hours and do not have any paperwork. In these situations our company (again, not affiliated with Lee's Travel in any way) will offer heavily reduced costs in order to help the worst affected. Please contact us for more details.

DO NOT USE Bought 2 x Flights online having seen that the company on Skyscanner and was ABTA registered. Payment taken in full, email confirming booking and all okay received the next day. Two weeks before due to fly, received an email advising that they weren’t able to provide the tickets, and a refund should hopefully be processed within a week. As I’d made other plans around the exact flight times, I then had to rebook the same flights costing me an extra £500. The only other option was to not travel, losing the money spent on the rest of the trip. Refund not yet received, no compensation, no apology.

i have booked 3 long distance flight…

i have booked 3 long distance flight tickets 10 days ago and only one day before i am due to travel i have had a vague email from lees travel to say all my flights are cancelled due to technical issues,i have no refund and am now warning others against using this shoddy company.after calling lees travel they just could not tell me when i would recieve a refund and they did not even have the courtesy to ring me to say my flights had all been cancelled...........................STAY WELL CLEAR OF THIS COMPANY

DO NOT USE. I REPEAT DO NOT USE. Even if they're the cheapest don't use them. I've said it 3 times because never have I come across a company like this. They cancelled our tickets due to a "technical" error. Refund takes 5 days. Now the ticket prices on competitors website has gone up £80 per ticket. Wish I'd read the reviews on here before. There should be a law where they can't cancel tickets like this. Also need minus stars for this incompetent company.

Where’s my money??

Booked with their subsidiary company sumo flights, recieved message saying due to error flights couldn’t be booked, money coming back to you... never got money back! Kept promising return and surprise surprise never came!

Thieves, liars, scum.

Do not use this company, they advertise low price, wait till you ring up then charge you extra on top of your original price if you actually want to book! Total scam, amazed if this is legal. Pay more for a reputable company!

Horrible service, terrible company! I tried to book twice and the booking got rejected, when I called, they said this is a technical issue and we are very sorry! Money comes back to the card in 5 working days, my booking with that price is gone now, I have no flights and I have to wait for the money to come back in order to book another flight that is more expensive, the customer service couldn't help and said everything is automated. There is nothing they can do. DO NOT TRY TO BOOK FLIGHTS WITH THIS COMPANY!

Avoid, total liars, incompetent

Travel tickets had wrong name and was charged more than what was advertised. When you speak to them about this they're now saying something totally different compared to when tickets were booked.

Don't Care About Their Customers

Simon Lee the owner doesn't give a damn about his business. He completely ignored all 4 emails that I sent to him requesting some customer assistance. I had booked a ticket and got the return date wrong by one day as it was a 1am flight and realised it as soon as I got the confirmation through. I immediately emailed within 5 minutes of making the booking asking them to correct it which they ignored. I called them and they said the ticket was not changeable and that I would have to buy a new ticket (quoting me the standard terms and conditions). Most agents would have treated it as a mistake and corrected it without any fuss but not Lees Travel. I have bought a lot of tickets with them over the years and this is the first time I needed a bit of customer service which simply didn't exist. Needless to say that is the last time I ever use them.

cowboy outfit , rude service and premium phone charges !

i came across this company on skyscanner ,for a return trip to GC ,Australia and guess what the deal was too good to be true ! and we all know the answer to that question !!! so i booked , paid etc, then i suddenly reallised , the name on my e-ticket was wrong , (google sometimes pre-populates forms so it put my christian name in as steve not steven, so i called Lees travel , answered by a woman , very curt and impolite who gave me another number , answered then by a guy who said fill-in contact form with my question and await reply ....after waiting i eventually received a reply , sorry we cant the change name so we refunded you !, my wife works for an airline as says this is completed rubbish so i think i had a narrow escape , i then booked direct through the airline (Singapore airlines for only £50 more , so INMHO avoid these cowboys ! and to top it all , just checked my mobile bill and they have charged me £2.50 for calling them !!!

Went bust whilst we were away in…

Went bust whilst we were away in Canada. My hotel in Boston a day later was cancelled. Had to pay again. Email from CAA confirm Lees Travel in liquidation. We are ATOL protected so should get our money back eventually. What a sorry excuse for a travel company.

I received an email from Lee's travel stating their insolvency is due to a ' banking error'. I would like to see a review here from the banking industry or IATA. Because I am not convinced.
