Colin Jost performs onstage.

As of May 2, 2023, all Writers Guild of America members are on strike.

In short, that means no more late-night talk shows, no more as-yet-to-be-written sitcom episodes and no more “Saturday Night Live.”

To tide you over, you can catch one of ‘SNL’s” cast members live this summer.

Long-running “Weekend Update” anchor Colin Jost is embarking on an 11-show stand-up comedy tour that will take him all over the country from June 1-25.

That includes a show at Huntington, NY’s The Paramount on June 1.

Plus, he may even bring a few “SNLers” along with him.

On his tour last year, Jost had cast members James Austin Johnson, Sarah Sherman and Andrew Dismukes as well as writers Jake Nordwind and Alex English open for him.

Best of all though, tickets are surprisingly affordable to see ScarJo’s husband live.

At the time of publication, we found some Colin Jost tickets going for as low as $37 before fees on Vivid Seats.

Not a bad price to see an Emmy host and Wrestlemania vet (yes, really) live.

Want to see the man with a “punchable face” perform jokes live?

Here’s everything you need to know and more.

All prices listed above are subject to fluctuation.

Colin Jost 2023 tour schedule

A complete calendar including all tour dates, venues and links to the cheapest tickets available can be found below.

(Note: The New York Post confirmed all above prices at the publication time. All prices are subject to fluctuation and include additional fees at checkout .)

Vivid Seats is a verified secondary market ticketing platform, and prices may be higher or lower than face value, depending on demand.

They offer a 100% buyer guarantee that states your transaction will be safe and secure and your tickets will be delivered prior to the event.

“Saturday Night Live” cast members on tour in 2023

While the strike is on, the best way to get your laughs may be from the stage.

Here are just five huge tours you won’t want to miss when these Not Ready For Primetime Players come to a city near you.

•  Tina Fey with Amy Poehler

•  Steve Martin with Martin Short (we say they count)

•  Melissa Villaseñor

• Kevin Nealon

• Leslie Jones

Colin Jost & Michael Che at Radio City Music Hall

Radio city music hall, new york city, new york, colin jost & michael che, radio city music hall, tickets from $69.

It’s another Saturday Night in New York City, and this is definitely the place to be! Weekend Update co-anchors Colin Jost and Michael Che will present a fresh new live broadcast this fall at the Radio City Music Hall on October 14th, this year This three-date tour has stops in Washington and Atlanta before hitting Midtown Manhattan later this fall. Since the 49th season of "Saturday Night Live" has no set premiere date, the comedic duo will team up outside the show to deliver a top-notch stand-up performance for one night only. The two have yet to reveal whether or not they will be inviting special guests to star in the show, but of course, like any good episode of SNL, the best way to find out is to watch the show live. Have fun at this laugh-fest taking place at the RCM Hall and prepare for smiles all around town as these geniuses bring you the best jokes in the house! Start reserving your seats now!

Colin Jost & Michael Che Tickets from $69

Colin Jost and Michael Che will share the stage on October 14th this year at the Radio City Music Hall for their show entitled “Saturday Night In NYC.”

The comedic pair have recently announced three co-headlining gigs over the next few months, which Che jokingly called the ‘No Lives Matter Tour’ on Instagram.

Other dates include September 15th, when they're scheduled to visit DAR Constitution Hall in Washington, D.C. Following that, they will play at the Fox Theatre in Atlanta on September 16th, and the Radio City Music Hall in New York City on October 14th.

For over a decade, the two have continued to co-host the Saturday Night Live satirical news program “Weekend Update.” Unfortunately, Jost and Che have been off television since late April when Saturday Night Live went on hiatus and eventually cut the 48th season short due to the writers’ strike.

Neither comic gave much information about what to anticipate from the evening, hence, it remains to be seen if it will be more than just a joint stand-up gig. There is a chance for a "Weekend Update"-style piece, but the duo is more than capable of giving excellent stand-up performances without using newsworthy material.

Award-winning writer, actor, and comedian Jost has been a head writer for Saturday Night Live for almost ten years. He has also been featured in The New Yorker and The Huffington Post, and he is married to Scarlett Johansson.

Moreover, Che is a celebrated writer, actor, and comedian who has been included in Rolling Stone's list of the “Fifty Funniest People.” He made history as the first African-American co-anchor of Weekend Update, and he has also made appearances on Sesame Street and WWE Raw.

Interestingly, Jost and Che are not the only Saturday Night Live stars on tour for this year. Cast members like James Austin Johnson, Sarah Sherman, Andrew Dismukes, and Devon Walker are some of the SNL names currently out on the road performing shows.

The Radio City Music Hall is home to the newest and most trending live shows that visit New York City. Catch this event at the iconic venue and start reserving your seats now!

Colin Jost serves as a head writer at Saturday Night Live, television’s longest running and most successful sketch and comedy show, now in its 48th season. Jost originally joined the show as a writer in 2005 and became a co-head writer in 2012. Jost has also co-anchored “Weekend Update” alongside fellow cast member Michael Che since 2014.

Jost has won five Writers Guild Awards, two Peabody Awards, and has been nominated for 12 Emmy Awards for his writing on SNL. Jost and Che hosted special editions of “Weekend Update” on MSNBC during the 2016 Republican and Democratic national conventions as well as the primetime “Weekend Update Summer Edition” in 2017. In 2018, they co-hosted the 70th Primetime Emmy Awards.

In 2015, Jost wrote “Staten Island Summer,” a coming-of-age comedy that was released by Paramount Pictures and produced by Lorne Michaels. Jost has since been seen in the films “How to Be Single,” “Coming 2 America,” and “Tom and Jerry.”

As a writer, Jost has been published multiple times in The New Yorker and has contributed to the New York Times Magazine and the Huffington Post, amongst others.

The memoir is a series of essays, which documents pivotal moments in Jost’s life including growing up in Staten Island in a family of firefighters, commuting three hours a day to high school, attending Harvard while Facebook was created, and more. For every accomplishment and absurd moment, there is an honest, emotional one, told with a healthy dose of self-deprecation.

Colin’s comedy set was jost what this weekend needed.

Colin+Jost+of+SNL+fame+performed+a+stand-up+routine+at+Finneran+Pavilion+on+Sep.+24.%0A

@novanationer

Colin Jost of SNL fame performed a stand-up routine at Finneran Pavilion on Sep. 24.

Carter Smith , Staff Writer September 28, 2022

I was hyped going into Family Weekend. Even though my parents were not making the trip out from Washington this year, there was going to be a lot to do. Listening to and performing at the a cappella showcase on Friday night was bound to be a blast, and surely the football team would hand a sizable “L” to Monmouth University, a school that my friends and I had never heard of before.

But there was something I was looking forward to even more than both of those things: An Evening With Colin Jost. One of my favorite comedians was coming to my school, and I got a good seat. To say I was excited would be an understatement.

The a cappella showcase went pretty well and the football game went less well, so it would come down to Jost’s comedy show to make this weekend truly stand-out for me.

And I was not disappointed. Alex English, the opener and one of Jost’s fellow Saturday Night Live writers, owned his time on the stage. Even though much of the audience likely could not relate to his life experiences as a gay, Black man, which formed the basis of much of his material, he packaged and presented those experiences in such a way that everybody could get something from it and laugh along with him.

His perspective is one that we do not hear from often at Villanova or in comedy in general, and through his easily-followable style, we were able to hear more about it.

The length of his set was perfect. He had enough time to get his points across and deliver a complete set, while not staying up so long as to out-stay his welcome as an opener.

When Jost started out with the “Vanilla-nova” joke, I knew his set was going to be great. He made jokes about the same things we joke about as Villanova students: the absurdity of calling our dining halls “Pit” and “Spit,” the ordinariness of the name of our basketball arena and how unfortunate it must be for the sculptor of “The Awakening” to have his statue be downgraded to cookie status (“The Oreo”). Those jokes were nice to hear and helped audience members less-familiar with Jost understand his style of stand-up with a familiar topic.

Content-wise, it was clear Jost knew his audience and was not just relying on previous material. As one who watches Saturday Night Live and his stand-up and has read his book “A Very Punchable Face,” I knew a couple of the stories he told already, such as the pot cookie and his experience as a Russian language major. However, hearing the stories again straight from his mouth and in a stand-up context was no less amusing.

On top of the Villanova-related jokes, taking cracks at certain majors, opening up for audience questions and telling stories like “the roommate” showed to me that he took the time to get to know his audience and develop a set for us. Even if we were “just another gig,” it did not feel like that as a listener.

Jost’s style as more of a storyteller comic had no trouble keeping my interest and that of the audience throughout his set. Along with narrating stories relevant to the parents and students, it was easy to identify with him while bawling at the hilarity of the situations he has found himself in.

Both English and Jost’s sets were a lot more risqué than I thought they were going to be. On Weekend Update and in his normal sets, Jost does not often touch on the most controversial topics, but some of his stories can go to places that I would not describe as school-appropriate.

I cannot speak for English’s work because I have never seen or heard him do stand-up, but I was a little worried that the university would restrict certain topics and force both comics into censoring their material. I am so glad I was wrong.

When English detailed his sexual experiences and Jost targeted Catholicism or said something was “pitch black…so the opposite of Villanova,” I felt the uncomfortable energy permeate the arena with a tide of nervous “oohs.” It’s hard to do comedy and not make some people uncomfortable, but I think both comedians did a good job with walking the line. Some risqué statements and jokes were made, but it was clear to me that they were in good fun and not meant to insult or cause controversy.

Those mixed reactions and nervous laughs, along with both comedians acknowledging the questionable nature of what they said made the night for me. I would not have enjoyed the event as much if they were forced to sanitize their sets, it would have seemed much less genuine.

Overall, seeing one of my favorite comedians do stand-up at Villanova with an amazing opener has been one of the highlights of my year thus far. Jost was what this weekend needed.

'SNL': Jake Gyllenhaal sings Boyz II Men as Colin Jost, Michael Che swap offensive jokes

" Saturday Night Live " looked ahead to a historic season in a slightly less historic season finale.

Jake Gyllenhaal hosted "SNL" Season 49 this weekend, the last episode before the show kicks off its 50th season in the fall. "When you think of historic television seasons, the first number that pops into your head is 49," the " Road House " actor quipped. "Sure, one more episode and I would have been hosting the premiere of the 50th season, but who cares?"

In his monologue, Gyllenhaal proceeded to sing farewell to the season to the tune of Boyz II Men's "End of the Road," joking in between the lyrics that "a lot of people" said no to this weekend's hosting gig because they're "holding out" for the 50th season.

Start the day smarter. Get all the news you need in your inbox each morning.

"They asked Pedro Pascal but he wasn't around," he sang. "Zendaya said no 'cause she'd be out of town, even asked (Ryan) Gosling to come back again, just hosted three shows ago." "SNL" cast members soon joined the actor onstage, with Kenan Thompson singing that "we did a lot of sketches this year, and most of them were fine."

In the cold open, James Austin Johnson's Donald Trump delivered a free-flowing speech outside of the Manhattan courthouse, where his hush money trial has been taking place.

"Unfortunately, at the end of this trial, it looks like I'm getting a very harsh sentence and being sent to a horrible place I do not want to go to: the White House," he said.

Colin Jost and Michael Che make each other read brutal jokes about Scarlett Johansson, Kendrick Lamar

During "Weekend Update," Colin Jost and Michael Che continued their season finale tradition of making each other deliver jokes that the other person has never seen before, which tend to be horribly offensive and reflect poorly on the comedian reading them.

Che made Jost read jokes in support of Harvey Weinstein − "The only chant you'll hear from me is 'Free Weinstein,'" he declared − and dissing his own wife, Scarlett Johansson .

Jake Gyllenhaal got a staph infection: He says his 'whole arm swelled up' while making 'Road House'

"ChatGPT has released a new voice assistant feature inspired by Scarlett Johansson's AI character in 'Her,' which I've never bothered to watch because without that body, what's the point of listening?" Jost read.

Jost, meanwhile, forced Che to read jokes that made it sound like he sends inappropriate texts to kids and assaults women. Che was also given a joke insulting Kendrick L amar , egging on the rapper to make a diss track about him amid his feud with Drake .

"Your war with Drake may be over, but your war with Michael Che is just beginning," Che read.

Che also brought out a woman he claimed was an "actual practicing rabbi" so Jost would have to read offensive jokes about Jewish people in front of her, including asking, "If you're here, who's controlling the weather?"

'I Knew You Were Trouble': Taylor Swift reacts to Sabrina Carpenter's cover of 'I Knew You Were Trouble'

Sabrina Carpenter plays Daphne in bloody 'Scooby-Doo' sketch

Musical guest Sabrina Carpenter may not have been hosting, but she still jumped in to star as Daphne in a hilariously bloody Scooby-Doo parody.

In the sketch, Gyllenhaal played Fred as the mystery gang rips the mask off a perpetrator, only for Fred to incorrectly think he's wearing another mask and rip off his entire face instead. Things get even more gruesome as Scooby-Doo chews on the face, Shaggy loses an arm and Velma is beheaded.

"SNL" will return later in 2024 for its 50th season, and a 50th anniversary primetime special is set to air on Feb. 16, 2025.
