Throughout the Christmas season, Historic Bethlehem hosts a variety of festive family activities including holiday tree tours, lights displays downtown, carriage rides, seasonal music, or pictures with Santa, there's something for everyone!

Trees of Historic Bethlehem

With over 25 trees on display across our historic sites, the Trees of Historic Bethlehem display is a time-honored tradition in The Christmas City.

Designed especially for the Christmas season, this tour focuses on cherished traditions: a candle-in-every-window, bees wax candles, the renowned Star of Bethlehem and Moravian Star, the community Putz and more set among Bethlehem’s exquisite Victorian and colonial architecture and two National Historic Landmarks: the 1741 Gemeinhaus and the Bethlehem Waterworks.

Visit Historic Downtown Bethlehem from December 1 through 23 to experience our unique, annual Live Advent Calendar tradition. Hosted by the Downtown Bethlehem Association (DBA), an entity of the Greater Lehigh Valley Chamber of Commerce, in collaboration with Historic Bethlehem Museums & Sites. Enjoy this one-of-a-kind experience — it's the only one like it in the country!
