Prospective students interested in touring the entirety of the University of Michigan North Campus in person can sign up for a campus tour time with the College of Engineering .

Northern Central Campus
Explore the northern part of Central Campus, near the Medical School and the main hospital, which include the Life Sciences Institute, the Undergraduate Science Building, the School of Dentistry, and the Biological Sciences Building and Museum of Natural History.

Students at the top-20-ranked medical school have the advantage of access to U-M's world-class teaching hospital and state-of-the-art research facilities. The medical center includes the Rogel Cancer Center, Von Voigtlander Women's and C.S. Mott Children's Hospital, and dozens more specialty centers, clinics, and institutes.

Life Sciences Institute
The Life Sciences Institute is a collaborative, independent research institution, encompassing 22 faculty-led teams from schools and departments throughout U-M. The 230,000-square-foot building, which opened in 2003, is outfitted with open, interconnected laboratories to allow for maximum cross-pollination of ideas. LSI is also home to an advanced high-throughput screening facility, a world-class cryo-electron microscopy laboratory, and a comprehensive cloning and macromolecular X-ray crystallography center.
Undergraduate Science Building
Built in 2006, the Undergraduate Science Building (USB) houses courses for general biology, cell biology, microbiology, animal physiology, genetics, and developmental biology, among others. The USB includes 16 teaching labs and associated prep rooms, offices, and other teaching areas, as well as faculty offices. The USB is located about two blocks from the Kraus Natural Science building and just north of the Biological Science Building.
School of Dentistry
Renovated in 2022, the School of Dentistry houses offices and clinics for U-M's top-rated dentistry programs.
Biological Sciences Building
The Biological Sciences Building (BSB) is revolutionizing how biology is taught and learned. The $261 million project brings together the departments of Molecular, Cellular, and Developmental Biology and Ecology and Evolutionary Biology, as well as the museums of Natural History, Paleontology, and Zoology, in one state-of-the-art facility.
Museum of Natural History
The U-M Museum of Natural History moved to its current location in 2019, its spectacular new facility in the Biological Sciences Building blurring the boundaries between public and research areas, and putting science on display. All-new exhibits and educational programs feature LSA’s world-class natural science collections, cutting-edge research by U-M faculty, and interdisciplinary topics of global and local concern.
College of Pharmacy
The U-M College of Pharmacy has a well-earned reputation for academic and research excellence, and for robust direct student support, making the PharmD and PhD programs among the most sought out in the nation. Located on Central Campus, Pharmacy is only minutes from the Life Sciences Institute, a top-ranked teaching hospital, and medical center.
