8days Lemosho wonder with Tripquest

I completed an 8 day Lemosho, kilamanjaro climb and a two day safari with this company and they were great from beginning to end. Starting several weeks before my trip, I began chatting with Peter on WhatsApp. He was able to give me a detailed day by day account of what to expect. What I needed to bring. Etc.. And than the long journey to Kilimanjaro airport began, and I was met at the airport and given a ride to a very nice hotel. Benson and my guide for the trip, Goerge met me and checked over my gear to see if I needed to rent anything. The climb itself is great. I actually was by myself, and still had a guide and six porters to help carry the tents, cooking gear, good, etc.. These guys rocked! I couldn't believe their stamina, carrying all that gear on their head and neck. Every evening a very nice meal was prepared and we talked about the next day off the climb. And than summit day! I had a tough time with it, the altitude took almost everything out of me. But with the help of Benson and George, I made it. These guys were very well organized and fun. I highly recommend them. Thank you Trip Quest.

We loved everything

We loved everything, ease and confidence when hiring and security and trust during the 5 days of Safari we did. Eli, our guide, a super crack, did not stop until we saw all the animals at a very very short distance, he explained to us the history, customs and curiosities. The truth is that we recommend it without a doubt, it was a super honeymoon😊

4 Days Serengeti and Ngorongoro Safari

We selected the 4 days safari option and choose the class 1 accommodation. It was really good and the service provided our guide David was amazing. He was very professional and we felt very safe. Martin who will be in office is extremely patient all the time and organises everything perfectly. This safari was the best thing that happened to us amid the pandemic.

My First trip in Africa with TripQuest.

My First trip in Africa with TripQuest. I climbed Kilimanjaro via the Machame Route (6days) at the end of October with TripQuest (a locally owned company situated in Arusha. I would recommend this company 100% if you are looking for a budget trip (without all the unnecessary extras like golden toilets and glitter showers) who will go the extra mile for you. Extras like hiking poles, ski-pants and even socks where lent to us free of charge. The guides were all very professional, but also great people and everyone takes amazing care (pamper ;)) of you. We laughed a lot, drank too much water, hiked some more and all made it to the top without any issues :)

We have just finished an unbelievable trip

We have just finished an unbelievable trip with Trip Quest. From the moment I made an enquiry to the moment that we were dropped at our lodge, everything was handled so well, all questions answered. Eli, our guide, was so knowledgeable and jolly and really made sure we had the best time and saw lots of amazing animals. We did a 4 day safari through the Serengeti, Ngorongoro and Tarangire and all parks were spectacular. We wanted to mix and match accommodation options and were advised good combos for this. We had some concerns before booking about the impact of coronavirus but Martin answered all of our queries and assured us of their rebooking and cancellation policies (thankfully this was not needed!). All in all a really personal experience that you wouldn’t receive with a bigger company and I would highly recommend!!

Professional wild botswana safari

Memories are many and varied - Victoria Falls was spectacular. The wildlife - Elephants, Lions, Hippos, Crocodiles and a Leopard to name just a few. Wild camping and the animal noises in the night. The guides (Ali & Jami) were knowledgeable and passionate about Africa. The blood red sunsets are like nothing you have ever seen before. The night sky unaffected by light pollution. The semi organised chaos of the border crossings. The silence in the mokoro canoes going through the Okavango delta. The diverse group of nationalities and ages who bonded very well - the seat rotation policy made sure everybody mixed well. TripQuest managed everything smoothly and its worth for every penny.

Trip of a lifetime - Thank You TRIP QUEST !!

We really enjoyed and the experience we cannot express in words. Watching the wild animals in their natural habitat was an experience. Weather was nice, food was great, all the accommodations exceeded our expectations especially Tsavo west. The water hole behind our lodge,in Kiluguani lodge, was busy whole night and we did not feel like going to the bed. In Masai Mara, Osero Camp, was bordering the park and during night we could hear the killing and the struggle and the fights. Our tour guide Peter, Trip Quest , were awesome. He took all the troubles to show us all "big five". we were very fortunate to see all only because of Peter. Only regrets is we couldn't see the river crossing.

COVID Oct-2020 African safari :)

COVID Oct-2020 African safari :) Don't let COVID stop you. Seeing the Safari in such a way during the pandemic was absolutely incredible. We saw no signs of anything, everyone was taking their precautions and nobody was sick. The safari was almost empty and we did not have to deal with many other vehicles. From the moment that David picked us up, until all the way through the end of our safari trip it was absolutely SPECTACULAR. David is a very knowledgeable and caring safari guide whom we got to know rather well over our 14 day Safari trip, I would highly recommend using him and in fact, when we go back in 2 years we intend to drive with David again. His knowledge and experience really shows and he cares not only about the people of Africa but his guests as well, making sure that they enjoy every moment of every day. Highly recommend TripQuest.

One of the most memorable trips we have…

One of the most memorable trips we have ever had. We choose to do the 4days package covering Serengeti and Ngorongoro crater. We were fully aware of what we could expect and what the driving distances would be thanks to our travel consultant Mr.Martin, who has excellent knowledge about the safari and Tanzania as a whole. Our guide was very experienced and we stayed in the mid range accommodations but were such amazing places to stay. We are definitely returning to Tanzania someday and we would choose TripQuest any day over the other companies.

The wildlife is everywhere in Masai mara, we saw every animal we could have imagined within a very short period of time(3days). Watching the animals line up for the migration is truly special. Booking steps are very easy, Martin will be available for 24/7, sorry for troubling you a lot. You made my trip :D

5 star magical kenya experience by TripQuest

We wanted to go to Tanzania to witness world's greatest wildebeest migration, but unfortunately for me it was too expensive. TripQuest gave me their best prices for both Tanzania & Kenya, but i chose Kenya because it was cheaper. Tailor made itineraries was perfect where we stayed in Basecamp Masai Mara, lake nakuru Sope lodge & Amboseli Serena Lodge. All the accommodations were clean & perfect, our guide Chwawa being a Masai tribe explained everything about the culture, wild life & landscapes. I give 5 stars Totally it was a wonderful safari for us, I highly recommend them (because nobody can beat their prices)

Our Safari, organized by TripQuest, was great

Our Safari, organized by TripQuest, was great: we had a 4 days safari (Masai Mara and Lake Nakuru), but actually we had game drives 2half days and a full day.. it was enough as Masai Mara was full of animals! we saw many lions, cheetahs, leopards, hyenas, hippos, crocodiles, zebras, giraffes, elephants, wildebeest, ostriches, pumbas, timons .. and a white rhino in lake Nakuru. We also visited the Maasai village and it was very interesting. our safari was a budget one but we saw as much animals as the luxurious safaris. Our camp was private & basic & food was really amazing, in lake nakuru we stayed in Tumaini cottages & it's good. Totally it's 5star safari experience

10 days safari Victoria Falls

10 days safari Victoria Falls, Chobe and Okavango A fantastic adventure perfectly organised by Trip Quest. Detailed travel planning, good and excellent communication with Martin and always a feeling of security. Thank you a lot. We will never forget Botswana with its friendly people and its breathtaking nature. Best Tour we ever had.

Selous :fantastic reserve :full of animals, not full of people

Great safari in Selous, September 2019. Three days/two nights. We saw all the animals expected, including lions, buffalo, hippos, and a elephant. The weather was great in September: no rain and a great temperature. Selous occupies an enormous territory, so is difficult to find others vehicules, except in the encounters with lions and elephants because they are more difficult to find. Selous is an area not overcrowded by tourism. Great thanks to TripQuest.

Date of experience : October 14, 2019

3 days selous :)

think this has been my favorite park so far. Hellish drive on a loooong, bumpy dirt road in order to get there, but the place is remote and there are few visitors. One can see a very wide variety of wildlife, including birds. Selous is wonderful place to witness wildlife miracle, guide was good , Tripquest delivered the service extraordinary.

10 Days Wild Botswana Camping

We did a 10 days camping safari in Botswana. Martin planned the itinerary excellently, we had a very good time. We covered Chobe, Savuti, Moremi and Okavango Dleta. Mokoro trail among hippo was the best. Our guide Peter and cook Steve were amazing. The food was delicious. We had the best camping experience. Botswana + Trip Quest is best combination.

It was our first safari

It was our first safari and everything was perfect! The Safari Land cruiser with Pop up roof, the camps we stayed& the driver/guide! We saw 4/5 big five and a lot of other wild animals! We learned a lot of interesting things about savannah, landscapes & fauna, it was an amazing experience! Thank you & good luck for TripQuest for their future.

Kenyan safari with Mombasa holidays

To be honest, I was first a bit apprehensive booking with Tripquest. However, they really took care of me and my family. Clare was excellent in organizing everything for us, even a last minute change of pland. Our safari guide Mr. Paul was amazing. He didn't give up until we saw all of the BIG 5. Apart from 6 days safari covering Masai mara, Nakura and Amboseli we had beach holidays as well in Mombasa. They are safe and reliable.

Our incredible trip to Tanzania!!

The wildlife is absolutely incredible in Tanzania. The scenery is breathtaking and the accommodations were amazing. Not one bad thing to say! Our guide was the best possible guide we could have had. We were sooo happy we got the chance to tour around with him. He made the journey so much fun! All around the experience was everything we imagined and more. One more thing about TripQuest is their communication & clearing my queries are excellent.

Tanzania Safari offers a world-class wildlife experience with beautiful landscapes in different national parks and some of the best safari lodges. The Serengeti is undeniably home to The Great Wildebeest Migration and the most significant concentration of predators in Africa. Zanzibar Island is the best choice if you are in the country for the beach holiday. Tanzania is the best combination for bush and beach; hence people call it " TANZANIA UNFORGETTABLE ."

Mt Kilimanjaro is the highest peak in Tanzania.

Although most national parks have warm days and cool nights and wildlife viewing is good year-round, this can differ for some parks. The best time to visit Tanzania is during the Dry season (No Rains), from June to October, and these are the best wildlife viewing months. The dry season coincides with the Great Migration of wildebeest and zebra, mainly in Northern Serengeti. The rainy seasons are also good times to travel, as there are fewer tourists and you can admire the striking emerald vegetation and the prices will be at the lowest. The long rains are in April and May and are very wet. December, January, and February are also great times to travel to Tanzania since the showers are short, and you have the chance to see newborn animals and migratory bird species.

One of the best places to indulge in this treat is at a cafe called Choco-late de Batirol. Located in Camp John Hay, Choco-late de Batirol specializes in the thick beverage that is made of local cocoa beans. The hot cocoa is prepared the old-fashioned way which uses a copper pot with a wooden whisk called a “batirol” to thicken the cocoa drink.

Artisan crafts a silver ring

Baguio’s silver craft and metal craft industry go as far back as the late 1800s with the establishment of pioneering mining firms in the region during that period. The ready availability of raw materials for silversmithing coincided with vocational workshops and school programs provided by Catholic schools for local children.

Pupils soon became so adept at their craft that the St. Louis silver shop was established, one of the first shops of its kind to sell. American servicemen counted as their first clients, buying silver jewelry with intricate designs to bring home to loved ones as souvenir items.

  • Book a Baguio day tour with a silver craft-making workshop

Local artisans became so good at creating silver jewelry and handmade filigree designs that visiting dignitaries started to take notice, going as far as including a trip to these silver shops as part of their itineraries on their trips to Baguio.

Today this tradition of excellence continues with local shops showcasing local talent, which includes PILAK Silver craft and Gift Shoppe and Tawidcraft Corporation, both of which produce hand-made, finely crafted silver jewelry as well as sterling silver tableware.

Woman weaving using a loom in Baguio

Weaving is an important part of Cordilleran culture because it is embedded in every part of their day-to-day lives. Aside from its primary function of keeping the body warm, the type of woven cloth worn by a tribe is an indicator of unique ethnic origins and identity. It is also a right to passage, a way of transferring skills from mother to daughter to ensure that specialized skills are passed on to the next generation, their expertise continuing as a living legacy.

  • Join a Baguio arts tour with a visit to the Easter Weaving Room

With the support of traditional weaving advocates at the turn of the century, weaving schools flourished during the early 1900s. One of these schools was headed by Anne Hargreaves, a deaconess who helped establish the Easter Weaving Room in 1909. Young local women were trained in the weaving arts and today, hand-loomed products are still being made using the traditional method.

You can watch expert weavers creating intricately woven designs using the loom. Various practical and aesthetically pleasing textile pieces are available for sale at the adjacent shop, which includes table cloths, Ikat and ethnic-styled bags, area rugs, bed linens, wall hangings, and so much more.

Entrance to the forest bathing trail in Camp John Hay

Forest bathing is a concept popularized by the Japanese, where participants are encouraged to go on a leisurely walk through the woods. The term ‘shinrin-yoku’ is a Japanese word that translates to “taking in the forest atmosphere.” Those who participate in this relaxing activity stroll along a place surrounded by nature, tall trees, and lots of plants.

Featured Eclipse Tours, Cruises & Astronomy-Themed Excursions

2026 greenland & iceland total solar eclipse cruise.

TravelQuest invites you on a remarkable 12-day voyage as we sail from Reykjavik, Iceland, across the Denmark Strait to explore Northeast Greenland National Park - the world’s largest, covering more area than 85% of countries around the globe. We also cruise into Scoresbysund, the planet’s largest fjord system (ice permitting), to spot wildlife, visit a remote Inuit community and, on August 12, 2026, witness the total solar eclipse from our world-class expedition ship.

2026 Spain Total Solar Eclipse Tour – Northbound

A Feast for the Senses

The spirit of discovery has defined Spain for more than six centuries, since the first wave of Renaissance explorers set off across the seas in search of terra incognita – promising gold, silver, spices and other riches to their royal sponsors. That same spirit of curiosity has long infused Spanish culture, from its extraordinary art and architecture, to its groundbreaking literature, to its distinctive wines and cuisine – all of which continue to be celebrated today in a land of remarkable vibrancy, flair and warm hospitality.

2026 Iceland Total Solar Eclipse

As you cross the barren interior of Iceland, making your way through lava fields, past steaming geysers and beneath craggy cliffs split open by glacial rivers, it’s easy to feel you’ve journeyed back to the origins of the Earth. Now imagine standing under the Moon’s shadow as it darkens the volcanic slopes and totally obscures the Sun. TravelQuest has been coming to this remote island nation for decades, spending our days discovering new dimensions of its pristine beauty — and at night, scanning the skies in the hope of seeing the spectacular aurora borealis.
