Trans-Siberian Orchestra Announce 2019 Tour

It's August and we don't even want to begin thinking about the Christmas season, unless, of course, it has to do with the Trans-Siberian Orchestra . They've just announced "The All-New Christmas Eve and Other Stories" North American tour, which kicks off in November.

Per usual, there will be two touring iterations of the Trans-Siberian Orchestra, which allows for shows in multiple cities on the same day, oftentimes with two performances each day. The trek will stretch from Nov. 13 through Dec. 30, making 66 stops with a total of 109 performances by the time the tour concludes.

See the full list of tour dates below.

Today (Aug. 19) marks the first day of the "12 Days of TSO Verified Fan Registration." Fans can sign up here which will afford exclusive access to the best tickets for the best prices before they go on sale to the general public.

TRANS-SIBERIAN ORCHESTRA Announces 2019 Winter Tour, 'Christmas Eve And Other Stories'

TRANS-SIBERIAN ORCHESTRA ( TSO ),the multi-platinum, critically-acclaimed progressive rock group, today announced its highly anticipated winter tour 2019. Returning with all-new staging and effects is the unforgettable show that started it all, "Christmas Eve And Other Stories" . TSO 's show that started small, performed to 12,000 people in five cities in 1999, which then exploded on to the national scene, eventually playing to nine million fans over the course of an incredible 12 years (through 2011),the mega-hit "Christmas Eve And Other Stories" has grossed an incredible $377 million over 1224 performances.

A product of the vision and imagination of TSO 's late founder/composer/lyricist Paul O'Neill , "Christmas Eve And Other Stories" began the unique format O'Neill called "Rock Theater" and forged a deep connection with their fans that it turned into the wildly successful tour, cementing the group's status as a must-see, multi-generational, holiday tradition and kick-started the trend of Yuletide season tours. This year's multi-sensory extravaganza is set to begin on November 13 and will visit 66 cities for 109 performances across North America before concluding on December 30 (see full itinerary below and online).

Starting today, August 19, the winter tour 2019 will begin its "12 Days of TSO Verified Fan Registration" where all fans can sign up at tso.tmverifiedfan.com/ (powered by Ticketmaster Verified Fan) for exclusive access to the best tickets for the best price before tickets go on sale to the general public. Pre-sales will begin for TSO fan club members on Tuesday, September 4 for November 13 through November 30 tour dates and on Thursday, September 5 for December 1 through December 30 tour dates. Fans who are not members of TSO 's fan club, but have registered during the "12 Days of TSO Verified Fan Registration" will have the opportunity to participate in pres-ales on September 9 and 10. General public on sale is set to begin on September 13.

"Christmas Eve And Other Stories" is based on the triple-platinum album of the same name and follows a story by TSO 's late founder/composer/lyricist Paul O'Neill . In keeping with the classic line "If You Want To Arrange It, This World You Can Change It," the story is set on Christmas Eve when a young angel is sent to Earth to bring back what is best representative of humanity. Following favorite TSO themes of "strangers helping strangers" and "the kindness of others," "Christmas Eve And Other Stories" takes listeners all over the world to help reunite a young girl with her distraught father. The album and tour feature such fan favorites as "Ornament" and the epic "Old City Bar", both of which have not been performed live in recent years. The rock opera also features such TSO classics as "Christmas Eve/Sarajevo 12/24" , "O' Come All Ye Faithful" , "Good King Joy" , "Promises To Keep" and "This Christmas Day" . Additionally, the tour will enjoy a new second set containing some of TSO 's greatest hits and fan pleasers, including "Christmas Canon" , "Wizards In Winter" and many more.

Since its historic touring debut, TSO has played nearly 2,000 winter tour shows for more than 16 million fans, with tour grosses of more than $725 million, and has sold in excess of 12 million albums and DVDs. Year after year, TSO hits the upper reaches of the domestic and worldwide tour charts. Recently in July 2019, TSO was ranked No. 6 on Pollstar 's North American Tours Mid Year chart and No. 8 on Pollstar 's Worldwide Tours Mid Year chart. In 2018, TSO came in at No. 16 on Pollstar 's 2018 Top 200 Year End North American Tours and at No. 17 on Pollstar 's 2018 Year End Worldwide Ticket Sales Top 100 Tours chart with more than 925,000 tickets sold. Additionally, in July 2019, TSO was featured in Billboard 's Money Makers of 2018. In 2009, Pollstar ranked TSO at No. 20 on the "Top Tour(s) of the Decade" and Billboard placed TSO at No. 25 on its "Top Touring Artists of the Decade."

Always embracing the O'Neill 's sense of altruism, TSO remains one of rock's most charitable bands. This year, as in years past, TSO will give at least $1 from every ticket sold to charity — to date, approximately $16 million has been donated by the group.

TSO 's winter tour 2019 is presented by Hallmark Channel .

Trans-Siberian Orchestra Announces Winter Tour 2019

Trans-Siberian Orchestra’s new show (starting November 13th) brings back the phenomenon that started it all- Christmas Eve And Other Stories. Verified Fan Registration starts August 19. Fan Club Presale Begins September 4. General Public Tickets on Sale September 13.

Trans-Siberian Orchestra (TSO) The multi-platinum, critically-acclaimed progressive rock group today announced its highly-anticipated Winter Tour 2019 . Returning with all-new staging and effects is the unforgettable show that started it all, Christmas Eve and Other Stories . TSO’s show that started small, performed to 12,000 people in five cities in 1999, which then exploded onto the national scene, eventually playing to 9 million fans over the course of an incredible 12 years (through 2011), the mega-hit Christmas Eve and Other Stories has grossed an incredible $377 million over 1224 performances.

A product of the vision and imagination of TSO’s late founder/composer/lyricist Paul O’Neill, Christmas Eve and Other Stories began the unique format O’Neill called “Rock Theater” and forged a deep connection with their fans that it turned into the wildly-successful tour, cementing the group’s status as a must-see, multi-generational, holiday tradition and kick-started the trend of Yuletide season tours. This year’s multi-sensory extravaganza is set to begin on November 13th and will visit 66 cities for 109 performances across North America before concluding on December 30th (see full itinerary online ).

Starting Aug. 19th, the Winter Tour 2019 will begin its 12 Days of TSO Verified Fan Registration where all fans can sign up at tso.tmverifiedfan.com (powered by Ticketmaster Verified Fan) for exclusive access to the best tickets for the best price before tickets go on sale to the general public. Presales will begin for TSO fan club members on Tues., Sept. 4 for Nov. 13 through Nov. 30 tour dates and on Thurs., Sept. 5 for Dec. 1 through Dec. 30 tour dates. Exclusive: Trans-Siberian Orchestra announces 2019 winter tour, 'Christmas Eve and Other Stories'

trans siberian orchestra 2019 tour dates

For the 2019 edition of their famous annual winter tour,  the Trans-Siberian Orchestra  is throwing it back to the album and tour that started it all.

The "Christmas Eve and Other Stories" tour brings to life – with enhanced special effects and new staging – the acclaimed prog-rockers' 1996 debut album of the same name, and the first in their Christmas-themed trilogy, which includes 1998's "The Christmas Attic" and 2004's "The Lost Christmas Eve."

“Christmas Eve and Other Stories" also began the band's tradition of holiday tours, with the concept the brainchild of the TSO's late founder and composer, Paul O'Neill.

Beginning with a small five-city trek in 1999, the band would later extend their annual "Christmas Eve and Other Stories" outing to a national run that would stretch for 12 years, running through 2011 and entertaining over 9 million fans.

The TSO's 2019 winter tour kicks off Nov. 13 in Green Bay, Wisconsin, and Council Bluffs, Iowa, and wraps Dec. 30 in Toronto and Chicago, stopping in 66 cities for 100-plus performances along the way.

It will stop in Memphis December 19 at the FedEx Forum. Verified fan registration will be available Monday at 8 a.m.

"We are all so excited to bring 'Christmas Eve and Other Stories' back this year," Al Pitrelli, the TSO's musical director and lead guitarist, told USA TODAY. "It’s been eight years since we last performed it and I promise it will be our most amazing show ever. Not only amazing musically and visually, but for a lot of us on and off the stage, emotionally. This is what put Trans-Siberian Orchestra on the map and has made the show so many families’ holiday tradition."

“Christmas Eve and Other Stories," as imagined by O’Neill, tells the story of an angel sent to Earth on Christmas Eve to discover the good of humanity. Along with TSO classics such as "Christmas Eve/Sarajevo 12/24," "O’ Come All Ye Faithful," "Good King Joy," "Promises To Keep," and "This Christmas Day," this year's show will feature fan-favorite tracks that have not been performed live in recent years, such as “Ornament” and “Old City Bar."

Fans can sign up for Ticketmaster's “12 Days of TSO Verified Fan Registration”  for access to premium tickets before the general sale. Presales will begin for TSO fan club members Sept. 4 for Nov. 13 through Nov. 30 tour dates, and Sept. 5 for Dec. 1 through Dec. 30 tour dates. Tickets for the general public will be available Sept. 13, with more details available at the  TSO's official website.
