What travelers say about their tours of the United States

Travel tips for usa tours.

While we could list quite a number things to see on tour in the United States, here are our top picks:

  • The Grand Canyon  in Arizona, one of America’s most-visited national parks, for colorful hikes
  • New York City and Washington, D.C. , for the iconic American experience
  • Hawaii , for beautiful beaches, spectacular sunsets, and a unique culture
  • Zion National Park  in Utah, for canyons, rivers, and incredible views

You don’t have to leave the U.S. to go on a memorable vacation. One of the best benefits of our United States tours is that you can see beautiful sights right in your proverbial backyard. You won’t have to worry about long flights, exchanging currencies, or language barriers. Plus, you can learn more about the places your ancestors may have traveled or lived, as well as build a deeper connection to the country you call home.

The best time to travel in the U.S. depends on where you’re going and what you’re hoping to do.

Spring:  Consider  U.S. National Parks Adventure: A Week in the Southwest  for outdoor hiking and sightseeing when it’s not too hot outside.

Summer : Visit  Denali National Park  in Alaska for some of the most majestic landscapes and wildlife sightings when it’s warmer.

Fall:  Visit  Vermont and Massachusetts  for stunning views of fall foliage and colonial history, or go on our  Albuquerque Balloon Festival & U.S. National Parks  tour for a once-in-a-lifetime experience.

What to pack for USA tours depends on where in the country you go and what you are hoping to do. If you are going to  Nashville and New Orleans , you’ll want to bring a lot of light layers to keep comfortable in the heat and humidity. If you’re going to  Alaska , on the other hand, you’ll want to bring a lot of heavy layers to keep warm in the cold. All of our tours include custom packing suggestions, so check the clothing and packing tips in the tour you love.

USA - Tour Highlights and Travel Tips

A trip to USA should not be limited to a few cities only. There is so much to see and do - cultural and natural, when on a holiday in USA.

Sure, cities like Las Vegas, San Francisco, New York, Washington D.C. and Los Angeles find their way into many traveler itineraries. They even offer more than enough to keep you occupied for weeks at a stretch. But America’s true beauty can be found in its wine regions, national parks, picturesque drives, exotic coastline and quaint little towns.

Tour Highlights

  • Ride to the top of the Empire State Building
  • Gawk at the majestic Grand Canyon National Park
  • Walk across the Golden Gate Bridge
  • Explore the natural phenomenon of Yellowstone National Park
  • Take the ferry to see the Statue of Liberty
  • Test your luck on the Las Vegas slot machines
  • Get lost in Florida's many theme parks

Travel Tips

  • The US is a massive country, covering 3.8 million square miles. Unless you’re planning on a (very) extended visit, be sure to do plenty of research beforehand and identify the attractions you most want to see.
  • Bear in mind that the US does not use the metric system like most of the world. This is especially important if driving a car, as speed limits and distances are measured in miles rather than kilometres.
  • Because it’s such a large and diverse country, you’ll find plenty of differences as you travel from state to state. The people, the cuisine, the accent and even the terminology changes between states. A soft drink might also be called a soda or a pop, depending on where you are.
  • Be sure to purchase health insurance before travelling to the US, as healthcare costs can be very expensive.
  • You want it? You got it. No matter the time of day or day of the year, you’ll always find an open shop or restaurant as you travel through the US - from fast food chains to old 24-hour highway diners.

Welcome to the United States

Quite simply – the United States... coast to coast is an amazing destination to explore. Our journeys are a reflection of the vivid landscapes and hidden gems in our constantly amazing national parks with their red-rock canyons and blue-tinted ice fields... our local experts who continue to tell their stories and help define what our country is built on, a true blending of cultures... and the unique one off's... Newport mansions, the BEST fall foliage, antebellum architecture, Hawaiian luau's, sophisticated cityscapes each with a vibe all their own, Colonial villages, celebrated artists; think Norman Rockwell and so much more.

North america's national parks, tauck and the national parks... working together for more than 90 years.

Our relationship with National Parks in the US and Canada goes back to our very first tour in the 1920s. Today, we continue to combine ingenuity, years of expertise, local friends we've made along the way, and our love of the National Parks to create new ways for our guests to experience them. At last count, Tauck visits more than National Parks, monuments and historic sites across the US… from Acadia to Zion, in destinations ranging from Maine to Hawaii... often including Tauck Exclusive experiences within the parks, and stays at sought-after inside-the-park accommodations. We pride ourselves on providing unique insider access to these special places in ways that make sharing them with your friends and family unforgettable.

America's own tropical Pacific paradise... welcome to the Hawaiian Islands

There's only one place in America where you can walk atop surreal lava tubes and across volcanic terrain molding island landscapes… bask on golden sand beaches fanned by Pacific Ocean breezes on every side… chat with beach boys who "talk stories" at a place called Waikiki… and enjoy a luau under the tropical sun. And although it is indeed a far-off tropical island paradise, it's still very much one of these United States. Welcome to Hawaii…

The Great Lakes

Discovering the mighty great lakes.

Situated in the heart of the North American continent and forming part of the natural boundary between the United States and Canada, the mighty Great Lakes – Lakes Michigan, Superior, Huron, Erie and Ontario – have played a pivotal role in the political, industrial and cultural fabric of North America for centuries. In 2019, Tauck launches a new 12-day small ship cruise – "Cruising the Great Lakes: Chicago to Toronto" – featuring a 7-night voyage between those two mighty cities aboard the new Le Champlain, plus two-night stays at your choice of Fairmont or Four Seasons hotels in the anchor cities. As you explore the shores of Lakes Ontario, Erie, Huron and Michigan, check out a re-emerging Detroit; celebrate American ingenuity at The Henry Ford; have lunch at Mackinac Island's Grand Hotel; ride a dune buggy on the Lake Michigan shore; tour Chicago's Wrigley Field and more…

New England

Home to america's "cradle of liberty," ken burns's backyard, and the setting of tauck's very first tour.

Occupying the northeastern corner of the US, it was among the first areas of the North American continent colonized by Europeans, and contains the sites of the Pilgrims' landing, the "Boston Tea Party," and the "shot heard 'round the world" – the first skirmish of what would become the American Revolution. Comprising dense forests and rich river valleys, rugged coastlines, and mountain ranges with names like Berkshire, Adirondack, White and Green (to name a few), it encompasses the states of Connecticut, Rhode Island, Massachusetts, Vermont and Maine. It's a land of lovely beaches, country lanes, summer cottages, tall ships, covered bridges, old whaling ports, fishing villages, white frame churches, picturesque lighthouses, and "lobstahh," It is New England…

Mackinac Island, Michigan

Step back in time on michigan's mackinac island.

Vehicle-free Mackinac Island – off the Michigan coast in the Straits of Mackinac connecting Lakes Michigan and Huron – has been a popular retreat since 19th-century industrialists built imposing summer "cottages" here, and remains serenely lost in time. The only way to get around is by foot, bicycle, or horse-drawn carriage, as you make your way past impeccable Victorian mansions and out to the fringes of forest, marshes, beaches and 19th-century Fort Mackinac. The island is home to the palatial Grand Hotel, which lays claim to the longest porch in the world. Since 1887, the Grand has hosted many presidents, as well as the likes of Mark Twain and Thomas Edison (who first demonstrated his phonograph on the hotel's iconic porch).

How can I get to California?

Getting to California is relatively easy as there are a variety of options available including flying, driving, and taking public transport. You can fly into both big airports, such as LAX (Los Angeles), or small airports like Palm Springs International Airport (PSP) depending on which part of California you're traveling in. You can also drive to California if you're from a neighboring state (or want to go on an epic road trip) or you can take a bus or a train with several routes to all the popular destinations.

How do you get around Los Angeles?

Driving is the most time-efficient and popular way of getting around Los Angeles due to the city's size. While there is public transportation in the form of a bus network and the local metro, it's sometimes unreliable and can be quite time-consuming. Los Angeles is known for its crazy traffic situations, especially during peak periods of the day, so make sure you give yourself enough time to get around.

How far is Utah from California?

The time it takes to travel from California to Utah depends on how you're traveling and where in California you're traveling from. Flying is by far the quickest way to travel to Utah with a flight between LAX and SLC (Salt Lake City Airport) taking just under 2 hours. Alternatively, you can drive between the two states for an epic road trip that's 12 hours long. If you were to take public transport between the two states it would be longer still but is a relatively cheap option.

Does it snow in Salt Lake City?

Yes, it does snow during winter in Salt Lake City. Snow is expected to fall between November and March but it's not unheard of to experience snowfall as early as October or as late as April. Salt Lake City is a great place to participate in winter activities such as skiing, snowboarding, and bobsledding, with neighboring mountains close to the city itself.

What's the weather like in New Orleans?

Due to New Orleans' geographical location, the weather can vary significantly during the year. Being near large bodies of water, such as the Mississippi River, the weather in New Orleans is often wet in the colder months and humid in spring and summer. There are lots of sunny days during June, July, and August with the average temperature being a warm 78°F. However, the weather can be quite unpredictable at times so make sure you're checking weather forecasts before you travel so you're prepared for what to expect.

What's the best time to visit Denali National Park?

It's hard to pinpoint the best time to visit Denali National Park as the landscapes are beautiful all year round. When to visit Denali largely depends on what kind of vacation you're looking for. If you really want to see snow on the surrounding mountains and explore the ultimate winter wonderland then winter would be the best time to go, however, spring and summer see the flowers and vegetation bloom in an array of colors.

Lizzo’s Special 2our makes stops throughout North America in 2023 – and promises to be one of the top shows of the year © Scott Legato / WireImage

The roar of the crowd. The resonating beats that can’t be reproduced with headphones. The thrill of seeing your favorite music artist live and in the flesh.

The greatest live-music events are transporting experiences.

Whether their songs have been the soundtrack to your life or you just can’t help but bust a move when they play on the radio, many of music’s biggest acts are heading out on tour for 2023. You’ll spend the night in very good company as you see living legends of the music industry live, at these 10 top concerts set to tour the US in 2023.

USA-GettyImages-1441115091-RM.jpeg

Lizzo: The Special 2our

The three-time Grammy winner and recent Emmy recipient Lizzo returns to American stages in 2023 with the second leg of The Special 2our. The multi-hyphenate’s tour will make stops at 17 cities throughout North America , bringing all of Lizzo’s chart-topping hits including “Good as Hell,” “About Damn Time,” “Juice” and “Boys.” Expect an electric evening of female empowerment as Lizzo gets support from her troupe of “Big Grrrl” dancers, DJ Sophia Eris (who joins the star for a rousing rendition of Lauryn Hill’s “Doo Wop”), backup singers and an all-women band. No Lizzo concert would be complete without Sasha Flute, Lizzo’s prized woodwind, which she deploys several times each concert, including during “Truth Hurts” and “Juice.”

Where to get tickets: Tickets to see Lizzo live on tour are available through Ticketmaster .

Stevie Nicks and Billy Joel: Two Icons, One Night

Two of music’s most iconic living legends will share the bill for five rousing evenings of classic rock and soul at stadiums across the country. The Two Icons, One Night tour is a rare double bill of two legendary touring acts, Stevie Nicks and Billy Joel. The limited concert series will open March 10 at Los Angeles ’ SoFi Stadium, followed by one-nighters in Arlington, Texas ; Nashville ; Columbus; and a final evening in Kansas City , on August 19. Both musicians have continuously toured throughout the decades, with Nicks most recently wrapping up a sold-out tour in summer 2022, and Joel touring the world in addition to his record-breaking residency at New York City ’s Madison Square Garden .

Where to get tickets: Tickets to see the iconic duo are on sale now through Ticketmaster .

P!NK: Summer Carnival 2023

Buy a ticket to see P!NK in person, and you know the glam rock diva will soar – figuratively and literally. The singer/songwriter returns to the touring circuit with P!NK’s Summer Carnival 2023, an all-new stadium spectacular with musical guests Brandi Carlile, Pat Benatar and Neil Giraldo set to open on select dates, with Grouplove and KidCutUp performing at all shows. P!NK concerts offer a thrilling blend of her power vocals and cutting-edge stagecraft as the star can often be seen dangling upside over the crowd or crooning effortlessly from a trapeze swing. The pop legend’s tour arrives in US on July 26 in Cincinnati , followed by 20 performances across the country, concluding on October 9, 2023.

Where to get tickets: Tickets for P!NK’s upcoming Summer Carnival tour are available through Ticketmaster .

Adele performs onstage during the "Weekends with Adele" Residency at The Colosseum at Caesars Palace, Las Vegas, Nevada, USA

Adele: Weekends with Adele at the Colosseum, Las Vegas

Adele’s new residency at the Colosseum is the hottest ticket in Las Vegas – and for good reason. The singer/songwriter is at the top of her game in a new production featuring her golden voice plus plenty of Vegas spectacle. The 20-song set list compiles her most popular hits, including a most appropriate opening of “Hello,” as well as such instant classics as “Rolling in the Deep,” “Set Fire to the Rain” and “Skyfall.” This residency is the rare chance to see the megawatt performer in a smaller venue – while there are 4000 seats, this is positively intimate compared to the large arenas she has played in the past.

Where to get tickets: The entire run of Weekends with Adele is sold out. If you’re looking to purchase tickets off a secondary market, make sure the secondary ticket vendor offers a 100% guarantee on your purchase to avoid scams.

Taylor Swift: Eras Tour

With Ticketmaster reporting “historically unprecedented demand,” Taylor Swift’s upcoming Eras Tour is one of the most sought-after concert tickets of just about any era. The highly anticipated 52-night stadium tour is the singer/songwriter’s return to the stage after her 2018 Reputation Tour was the highest-grossing of any in US history. Expect records to be shattered again, with tickets having sold out for the new tour in record time during the presale, alongside reports that demand “could have filled 900 stadiums.” Since Swift has released four albums since she last set out on the road, it’s anyone’s guess as to which songs will make the cut. Still, you can expect a lineup of megahits including “Shake It Off,” “Blank Space” and “We Are Never Ever Getting Back Together” to be a part of the set list for certain.

Where to get tickets: Tickets on Ticketmaster were gone in a flash during the presale. Those seeking tickets through a secondary market should stick to a platform like StubHub and VividSeats that offers a 100% money-back guarantee in fraudulent scalping.

Usher performs at the grand opening of Usher: My Way - The Vegas Residency at Dolby Live at Park MGM on July 15, 2022 in Las Vegas, Nevada

Usher: My Way – The Vegas Residency

Legendary singer/songwriter Usher is one of the greatest R&B showmen of all time. So there’s no question that his latest Vegas residency spanning his remarkable 20-year music career will be a spectacle of epic proportions. Set to return to the Dolby Live theater at Park MGM for 25 new dates from March through July 2023, Usher’s show will offer a rousing set list including many of his hits, such as “My Way,” “OMG” and “Yeah!” The high-voltage evening features plenty of spectacle, including a supporting cast of 23 dancers, roller skaters and pole dancers.

Where to get tickets: Tickets and premium packages can be booked through Usher’s Vegas Residency website .

Dead & Company: The Final Tour

Spanning more than five decades as the quintessential jam band, Dead & Company will hit the road for one final foray last time this summer. The Dead & Co. ensemble – currently led by original Grateful Dead members Bobby Weir, Bill Kreutzmann and Mickey Hart, joined by Oteil Burbridge, Jeff Chimenti and John Mayer – has continued the long legacy of the Grateful Dead by touring for each of the past eight summers. This summer, their final tour will serve as a bittersweet farewell as the band hangs up their guitars and tie-dye after having played more than 2300 concerts as the Grateful Dead. Expect Deadhead groupies from all around the world to descend for many nights of peace, love and happiness.

Where to get tickets: Tickets for Dead & Company’s final tour are available through Ticketmaster .

Singer Marc Anthony performs onstage during the VIVIENDO Tour, Inglewood, California, USA

Marc Anthony: VIVIENDO Tour

Don’t expect to be sitting down for most of Marc Anthony’s wildly energetic VIVIENDO Tour, set to tour the US in 2023. The three-time Grammy and seven-time Latin Grammy winner Anthony delivers a high-energy spectacle, the kind that gets you dancing along from the first down beat. Chart-topping hits fill the set list, including “Pa’lla Voy,” “Vivir Mi Vida” and “Valió la Pena.”

Where to get tickets: Tickets for Marc Anthony’s VIVIENDO Tour are available through Ticketmaster .

Beyoncé: Renaissance Tour

While details have yet to be fully released, Beyoncé will be celebrating her new album Renaissance with a live tour. The pop megastar is truly the first lady of music, having won 28 Grammys – the most by any female artist. If previous tours are any indication, Beyoncé will be making stops at major stadiums throughout the US, bringing with her a larger-than-life spectacle with dozens of backup dancers, pyrotechnics and stunning stagecraft. Renaissance  was built with the dance floor in mind – so get ready for a party like no other.

Where to get tickets: Dates and details for the tour have yet to be released. Sign up for Beyoncé’s newsletter on her official site to be among the first to know.

Ben Crawford as The Phantom and Emilie Kouatchou as Christine in “The Phantom of the Opera” on Broadway, New York City, USA

The Phantom of the Opera : final months on Broadway

In between the many A-list music acts playing the country, you’d be hard-pressed to find a more searing night of high drama and theatrical magic than the original Broadway production of The Phantom of the Opera . After 35 years, Broadway’s longest-running show will take its final bow on April 16, 2023. Hal Prince’s original staging remains as impressive as ever, featuring top-notch Broadway talent, a lush 27-piece orchestra and the iconic chandelier that crashes to the floor, night after night. Expect tickets to sell fast as “phans” fly in from around the world to hear the glorious “Music of the Night” one final time.

Where to get tickets: Telecharge is the official ticketing website for The Phantom of the Opera . Every night, a limited number of $45 tickets are available through a digital lottery, which you can enter here .

What people love about Coach / Bus Tours in USA

Excellent tour! Our guide, Ken Black, was the best tour guide ever. He took us to the best places, made excellent hike recommendations depending on our interests and capabilities, made sure we were safe and had fun at all times!
This was an amazing tour! Emily was brilliant she had loads of recommendations in all of the places we stopped in and made sure that everything always ran smoothly! Thank you for a fab tour!
Great tour guide, Michael M. Great hotels. Wish we had more time on the beach, for swim and that we would stop for photo op. Too bad for Maui fires, we would have loved to go to the other side of island- the stay in Kauea was hurried and rush/rush.

Bindlestiff Tours

"Fabulous! I just returned from Bindlestiff's Grand Canyon & more 3 day tour. It was Fabulous! It provided a well-planned itinerary of fascinating places (Zion National Park, Horseshoe Bend, Antelope Canyon (optional & a must!), Monument Valley & the Grand Canyon. We were a perfect size group of twelve international travelers in a comfy van plus our delightful Tour Guide, Jade. We had enough time to immerse ourselves in each location and enjoy each experience. When on the road, Jade played upbeat themed music, weaved interested facts into a story and allowed quiet snooze time; plus the rest stops were well-spaced. On the first day we actually were in 3 states!!! Jade's yummy restaurant selections served the needs of each of the travelers' dietary requirements and the overnight accommodations were clean, comfortable & provided a nourishing breakfast. A special shout-out to Jade for her ability to ""herd cats"" while being attentive to each traveler's personal needs. She engaged with each of us in conversation and was delightful with a good sense of humor. A warm Thank You to Jade and Bindlestiff Tours!!!

"the tour itself was amazing. The national parks do not disappoint. The travel accomodations were very cramped and uncomfortable. I am only 5 foot tall and I was cramped in this 14 passenger van. Food opportunities were limited.

Snoop Dogg is a West Coast rap pioneer, entertainment mogul, and one of the world’s most beloved pop culture icons. His three-decade career is unparalleled, with 16 Grammy nominations, 35 million albums sold worldwide (his first album, 1993’s Doggystyle , debuted at No. 1 on the Billboard 200), and three Billboard Hot 100 No. 1 hit songs, including a feature on 2010’s “California Gurls” with Katy Perry. In 2022, he won an Emmy Award for his part in the Pepsi Super Bowl LVI Halftime Show with fellow icon Dr. Dre (who discovered Snoop in 1992), Mary J. Blige, Eminem, Kendrick Lamar and 50 Cent. In addition to his extensive work as a chart-topping recording artist, Snoop Dogg is a successful entrepreneur with investments in global consumer brands, entertainment properties, food/beverage, Web 3.0. He is also a global ambassador (and venture capitalist) in the cannabis industry, which merged with his prolific music career on 2018’s Puff Puff Pass Tour presented by MERRY JANE, Snoop’s cannabis-focused digital media platform.

Awesome show, but I feel like the Dog Pound played more than Snoop himself. They were great tho.

THE BEST CONCERT IN THE ENTIRE WORLD

Snoops concert is magnificent. he kept the crowd engaged the whole entire show for 4+hours!!! the best money i have ever spent…. you changed my life snoop, thank you soooooo much i love you. THE BEST RAPPER IN THE ENTIRE WORLD. even sounds better in person. my dream has come true💯😍🤩

Best concert ever

I loved the show, would definitely see him again any chance I got.

Pretty Great

Overall the show gave most of what people wanted. Good stage presence, and great selection of songs, though I would have loved to hear "Pump Pump"but oh well. One main gripe with the concert was that most every song Snoop did was only a partial song, and he took a 30 min intermission and the Dogg Pound came out for like 10 songs. I think that was a little jarring for most, especially without warning or a heads up. The other main gripe was the projectors on the sky boxes for the upper bowl folks didn't project the useful footage. The entire time it was displaying the logos or music video footage instead of footage from the actual performance. This made the upper bowl suffer pretty hard for no reason. There was only 2-3 mins of actual concert footage shown.

Great show, Venue needs improvement

Snoop was great, as expected. The venue is very frustrating when it's full, one complete side of the building gets so packed that everyone has to squish through like cattle. Opposite side of the building has a little more room to move. Not sure how you fix this but it makes for a terrible experience when it's full. It's a whole process just to get to the bathroom or get a drink.

Should have a spot for smoking

You should be able to go outside, have a cigarette or joint and get back inside

Amazing experience for a long time fan

I have been a fan since the beginning and this was my first time seeing Snoop. My teenage son is a more recent fan and he had an incredible time as well. All performers were full of energy, had a great vibe with the crowd. Snoop did not disappoint!

Snoop Dogg put on a great show. There were some long breaks which I think could ch ave been shortened a bit. Overall it was a great concert!

Concert Was Fire!

What an amazing concert this was! So many artists which brought me back to my teenage years. The crowd was electric and the energy was fire! Snoop put on an amazing show, and opened up with coming on stage in a Cadillac! He had a huge blowup joint surfing the crown, had male and female dancers, shot money out of a money gun and left the stage in the Cadilac with the crowd screaming! One of the best concerts ever! I danced and sang the night away. ⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️

Snoop Dogg concert

It was fun but Snoop was only on stage for about 30 mins then the two guys who sing with him were on for 30 then he came back on for another 30 and that was it. I found for the cost of tickets, he didn't sign very long, about one hour.

Keanu Reeves' band Dogstar announces summer 2024 tour for their first album in 20 years

tour usa 2023

Keanu Reeves and his band Dogstar are going back on the road.

Following the group's first performance in 20 years last summer, Dogstar announced Tuesday that its members are embarking on the Summer Vacation Tour 2024 across North America.

"We can’t wait to see everyone! Thank you all for all the love and support," drummer Rob Mailhouse commented under the band's Instagram post. "We can feel it every time we take the stage. ❤️"

Dogstar, currently on tour in Europe, will be visiting 29 cities starting with the Indiana State Fair on Aug. 8. Their last show is Dana Point, California's Ohana Fest on Sept. 27.

The pre-sale begins Wednesday at noon local time; tickets can be found at dogstarofficial.com .

Last October, Dogstar — which comprises Reeves, Mailhouse and guitarist/vocalist Bret Domrose — came out with its first album in two decades, a 12-track record titled "Somewhere Between the Power Lines and Palm Trees." It was released by their own label, Dillon Street Records and featured their single "Everything Turns Around."

The "John Wick" star, the alt-rock band's bassist, formed the band with Mailhouse and the group's original guitarist and lead singer Gregg Miller in 1991.

Before ending their 20-year hiatus with a performance at BottleRock Napa Valley music festival in northern California last May, Reeves told  Billboard  that being with Dogstar was "something I’ve always missed."

"I missed playing together, I missed writing together, I missed doing shows together," he said. "We came to a spot where we weren’t playing anymore, and I missed it … Once we started to play, and it felt good, and really positive and creative, that’s when it was like, 'OK, let’s make this happen.'"

"I think all three of us just said, ‘Well, if we’re going to do this, let’s make a record,'" Reeves said. Domrose added, "We just knew that there was ‘X’ amount of time, and we needed to make the most of it. We just locked on as wanting to make this record, and it happened pretty quickly."

At the Napa Valley festival, the band played tracks from the previous albums, 1996’s "Our Little Visionary" and 2000’s "Happy Ending," as well as several songs from their yet-unreleased "Somewhere Between the Power Lines and Palm Trees."

Three months later, Dogstar went on to tour two dozen cities in North America and Japan in its Somewhere Between the Power Lines and Palm Trees Tour.

Latest Information for U.S. Citizens

Information for U.S. Citizens in Israel, the West Bank, and Gaza

The Department reminds U.S. citizens of the continued need for caution and increased personal security awareness as security incidents often take place without warning. The security environment remains complex and can change quickly depending on the political situation and recent events. Please see the latest Israel Security Alert .

U.S. citizens should heed the  Travel Advisory  for Israel, the West Bank, and Gaza. The U.S. Embassy continues to closely monitor the dynamic security situation in Israel, the West Bank, and Gaza. There are active military operations and active rocket and mortar fire in Gaza and the Gaza periphery.  Terrorist groups, lone-actor terrorists and other violent extremists continue plotting possible attacks in Israel, the West Bank, and Gaza. Terrorists and violent extremists may attack with little or no warning, targeting tourist locations, transportation hubs, markets/shopping malls, and local government facilities. Violence can occur in Israel, the West Bank, and Gaza without warning. If you require emergency assistance while in Israel, the West Bank or Gaza, contact the  U.S. Embassy in Jerusalem  by email ( [email protected] for those in Jerusalem, the West Bank, and Gaza or [email protected] for those in Israel outside of Jerusaleml).

Individuals seeking to depart Gaza: As of May 7, the Israel Defense Forces control the Gaza side of the Rafah Crossing. Since that day, the Rafah Crossing between Egypt and Gaza has remained closed. As soon as the U.S. Embassy in Jerusalem receives information regarding new exit procedures from Gaza to Egypt, including when crossings resume, we will communicate this to the public immediately.

This remains a complex situation with serious implications for the safety and security of U.S. citizens. U.S. citizens in Gaza in need of assistance should contact [email protected] . U.S. citizens in Gaza are reminded that the U.S. government is unable to provide routine or emergency consular services to U.S. citizens in Gaza as U.S. government employees are prohibited from traveling there.

The U.S. government does not control who is permitted to depart Gaza or enter Egypt. Individuals must assess their own safety and risks in attempting to cross the border. Individuals permitted to enter Egypt will likely receive a 72-hour Egyptian visa; all those who cross should have a plan for onward travel from Egypt in this timeframe. U.S. citizens, LPRs and their immediate family members who successfully enter Egypt and require further consular assistance should contact the  U.S. Embassy in Cairo  via the  U.S. Citizens Services Navigator .  Individuals may apply for a U.S. visa at any U.S. Embassy or Consulate; U.S. immigration laws and regulations will apply.

We continue to work in partnership with Egypt and Israel towards safe passage for U.S. citizens, LPRs, and their immediate family members.

Immediate family members of U.S. citizens include:

  • unmarried children under the age of 21, and
  • parents of U.S. citizens.

If the U.S. citizen is under 21, immediate family will also include any siblings who are also unmarried and under 21.

Immediate family members of LPRs include:

  • unmarried children under 21 years of age.
