My aim is simple: when you get out of the car after a tour, I want you to have the feeling that you have really experienced something special and have had the best time in a very relaxed environment with a chap, in his comfy car driving round the Swiss countryside and towns. I moved from Manchester in 2000 to Luzern and immediately fell in love with this magical place. The reason I came to Switzerland was for a job in football, my passion. At the same time, with my family, I was able to discover and explore the Lake Luzern area and over time travel further into the neighbouring Swiss regions and enjoy the stunning landscapes, culture and traditions. 3 years ago we started a holiday flat business attached to where we live in Luzern and it has been a huge success. We enjoy welcoming guests from all corners of the world and try to make them feel at home and offer advice on where to go, what to do, etc. At the same time, I decided to embark on the driver/guide business and joined a local travel company. Finally, a couple years ago, I felt confident to start my own tour guiding business. I have a 6 seater (5 for multi-day tours) Mercedes V Class minivan and organize tours in most parts of Switzerland. I am also licensed to drive minivans up to 18 people and in these cases for bigger groups, I would hire a van. The main areas covered are Lake Luzern, Bernese Oberland /Bern, Rheinfalls and Zurich. I also run Multi day tours to further afield places. I like to create customized tours to suit individuals and am happy to invest time to do this for you. I know the best places to go, which will be a mix of some tourist hot spots you should see. However over time I have also discovered some little known villages, mountain trips and local attractions. I believe I can cater for all tastes and whether you want a very relaxing or adrenalin packed time, there are options to suit. Seeing the best of Interlaken with Sibi

We had an afternoon tour with our guide Sibi who is bubbly and knowledgeable. Sibi came to our hotel to pick us up in a 7-seater MPV which we think it is the best way to travel around Interlaken. We had a quick discussion with Sibi on the itinerary and Sibi offered to bring us around Lake Brienz and the village nearby as well since it would be our last day in Interlaken and we haven’t been there. As we are a family of three Sibi tried her best to let each of us to have something that we like – dad loves waterfall so we went to Giessbach Waterfall; mom loves apple tree and we stopped by a Swiss farm to take picture in front of a real apple tree; while myself, prefers a traditional Swiss house and we left for a village near Lake Brienz. The best part of the tour is Sibi, not only being a tour guide but also play her role as a host of Interlaken and the nearby places. Her passion in making sure all of us feel comfortable and get to know about the culture, people and the place is second to none. Interlaken become so much more meaningful and excited with Sibi around. Thanks again very much to Sibi, for a wonderful experience in Interlaken.

Sibi Sibi Sibi…The best tour guide in Switzerland!

Hi! We spent 7 fabulous days with Sibi. She’s super easy-going and just wants to please AND give suggestions along the way. I liked when she’d occasionally drop us off at a site and say, “OK, I’ll meet you later in 1 or 2 hours. We were free to wander 🙂 Then she’d pick us up and we’d go to another wonderful place… maybe she’d stay with us this time to give us the insights of the area. She drove us all over Switzerland, from Zurich to Interlaken, to Geneva and even across the Italian Alps to Milan! We always felt safe and in capable hands. We took the train up to Jungfrau and spent the day at the top of the mountain… don’t miss this! She took us to a young couple’s home where the cow bells were ringing in the hills and they made cheese in their barn. Sibi always does her homework and has everything you want to do planned out so things run smoothly. If you don’t know what you want to do, she’s spontaneous and makes great suggestions. Sibi is funny and will share her insights into the Swiss history and culture. I hightly recommend Sibi and Pure Switzerland. We’ll be going back to do the things we didn’t get a chance to do, with Sibi as our guide, of course!

My husband and I were excited to spend our vacation in Switzerland during the summer of 2017 since we heard much about the beautiful mountains, lakes, villages and the famous Alps. Where to begin?! When I discovered EpikDrives, I knew this would be the perfect surprise trip for my husband. Initially the packages and trip seemed “to good to be true” but Stephan was quick to respond to my 1,000 questions. We didn’t find many reviews which made me nervous but booked regardless and ARE WE GLAD WE DID! This turned out to be one of the best trips we have ever taken. Planning of the trip and booking was seamless. Stephan was so helpful and prompt with responses throughout the entire process from start to finish. Once we arrived in Switzerland, Stephan was waiting at the hotel with our supercar on arrival. We were impressed with the ease of everything! We would get into the car each morning and essentially hit “go” on the GPS. Easy GPS guidance to follow along with designated stops for sightseeing, coffee if needed, and re-fueling. We also enjoyed the binder that accompanied with printed out information of the itinerary for each day and description of the different sites or mountain passes. I would certainly give EpikDrives and Stephan a 10+ if I could and we will definitely be taking another trip with them in the near future. Thank you, Stephan, for such an incredible experience!

Swiss Fairytale

Everything in this tour was great! We (me, my mom, and other tour member) just couldnt ask for more. Our Guide and Driver (Vitali) was just super amazing. We all love him. He's just beyond for being a guide but he is also becoming our friend and family. For Hotel, in my opinion all the selected hotels are good, quiet, clean, and spacious enough. Not a luxury one (as it's only 4*) but comfortable enough, really. Here are my day to day impression about Vitali throughout the journey: Day 1 As soon as we met Vitali, we know that he is punctual, fun, experienced, and caring Day 2 As we visited Lucerne, Vitali is just so knowledgable regarding the history of the city. He also cares a lot for toilet, give us some space for pictures (ask for it) or he could also take tons of pics for you. Most importantly he tag good spot for pictures for you. Day 3 He plan for the best by rearranging the schedule based on the weather forecast, recommend good food, cared so much for eldery on the track difficulity, prepared for umbrella for the quests. And even genuinly get back to the car to get umbrella for you. Day 4 He answered to a wide range of question about Switzerland and informed all preparation you need for the next day weather. He is just always been so interesting and never been boring and he tried his best not to waste our time by leaving us and pick us up at the closest place to the attraction area, he will never made you travel a lot to the parking area. Day 5 Weather doesnt stop us (it was raining, windy, and freezingly cold), he tried to keep everything on schedule. We chose the CLOY option in Day 5, throughout the excursion, he know precisely every CLOY scene location. Today he made the tour more fun by giving us some QnA. Day 6 Eventhough it's a free day but he gave us complete information regarding the transport system in Montreux and Vevey. And places to visit. Day 7 Today he gave lots of historical information regarding chillon castle, Lavaux Vineyards, and Geneva. Eventhough the schedule is pack, but managed to keep everything on schedule so thus we have free time to explore Geneva city and do shopping for souverniers.

There are many ways to get around Switzerland , the two main ways are using public transportation and renting a car. I’ll highlight the best way to get to each destination below. This Switzerland itinerary can easily be used with either a car or by train.

If you choose to get a rental car in Switzerland, I always recommend using this site to compare rates and cars.

If you choose to use public transportation in Switzerland, I recommend getting the Swiss Travel Pass to maximize your time and save you money. The Swiss Travel Pass offers unlimited train rides on most lines, free or discounted gondola rides, and discounts to many attractions though Switzerland.

I find that it’s especially worth buying the Swiss Travel Pass if you are planning to visit Zermatt because the expensive Gornergratt train is quite expensive, and it’s half off with the pass. If you’re comfortable riding trains and buses, I think it’s the best way to travel in Switzerland.

Where do I purchase my Swiss Travel Pass?

You can purchase your Swiss Travel Pass here . Just select the correct number of days for your Switzerland itinerary and check out. The pass begins on your selected date and runs continuously. The Swiss Travel Pass comes in. 3, 4, 6, 8, and 15 day increments.

Swiss Half Fare Card

If you’re unsure of your dates or the amount of time your Switzerland itinerary will be, it might be a good idea to purchase a Swiss Half Fare Card instead. This pass is good for one month and will offer 50% off most trains. There seems to be less of a discount on shorter journeys.
