Janet Jackson has upgraded her 2023 “ Together Again ” concert tour by simultaneously announcing the addition of a summer leg and Nelly as a special guest.

The Rock and Roll Hall of Famer will embark on a 35-date run across the United States nearly one year after announcing her highly anticipated return to the road with her ninth concert tour. Produced by Live Nation, the 2023 tour was the highest selling jaunt of Jackson’s career and featured 36 sold out shows.

The “Together Again” tour is in celebration of Jackson’s 50th anniversary in entertainment and honors the milestones for three of her most critically acclaimed albums: recognizing 25 years of “The Velvet Rope,” 30 years of “janet,” and 35 years of “Rhythm Nation.” Nelly will serve as support, showcasing his greatest hits spanning the last two decades.

‘That Was Painful to Watch’: Nelly’s Australia Performance Goes Viral, Sparks Concern Amongst Fans About his Well-Being

Nelly fans are concerned after seeing the rapper perform at a show in Melbourne, Australia, on Jan. 17. The recording artist was in town for the 2023 Juicy Fest, and fans are wondering if the rapper was on the juice after witnessing his performance.

Footage of Nelly went viral on TikTok and Twitter following his performance, and the rapper seemed to be under the influence of… something. Nelly appeared to be extremely happy and smiled extra-wide during his performance. The recording artist also swayed his head in a strange manner as he sang, prompting many fans to question if he was OK.

Several fans had jokes about Nelly’s performance. One fan joked that Nelly looked like comedian Tracy Morgan pretending to be Nelly.

“That boy zooted,” wrote one fan. “Whatever he on was kicking his ass. Nelly acting like Tracy Morgan acting like Nelly.”

“What drug is Nelly on? Percs do this? I’m asking,” replied another fan.

Another fan tweeted , “I’ll have what Nelly is having.”

“Nelly was def on something last night coz his eyes were fighting for their life,” noted one fan. “His crew should have told him to keep his glasses on. #juicyfest.”

Ashanti & nelly are already married, have been for months, ashanti & nelly already married ... have been for months.

Ashanti and Nelly are not just engaged, but they're actually already married -- in fact, they have been for several months now ... and, of course, they got a baby on the way too.

According to public records, the two music stars are legally man and wife -- and their marriage date is listed as having been recorded on December 27, 2023 ... so, a whole 6 months ago.

The paperwork doesn't specify what city they tied the knot in -- but it became official in St. Louis County, so all signs point to them doing the deed in Nelly's hometown. FWIW, they haven't had a public ceremony yet, but have been teasing their wedding in recent weeks.

Of course, this is major news ... especially since these two just keep on surprising us.

Remember, it was a couple months ago that Ashanti confirmed she and Nelly were expecting their first child together -- with her coming out publicly with the pregnancy news amid mounting speculation that she was carrying a child.

Not only did Ashanti come out and say she was preggo -- she also dropped the bombshell she and Nelly were engaged. Now, we're learning they've gone a bit further and made their relationship official in the eyes of the law.

It's a full-circle moment for them -- 'memba, they just rekindled their romance last year after first dating way back in the 2000s, when they were two of the biggest artists in the game.

Before they started truly dating again, they kinda trolled everyone with little reunions here and there in recent years -- doing performances together and acting flirty at shows and events.

As it turned out though, they were all in for one another ... and they've gone the distance. We've reached out to their teams for further comment ... so far, no word back yet.

Are Nelly and Ashanti in their official honeymoon phase? According to reports, the two tied the knot at the end of last year. On Wednesday (June 19) TMZ detailed public records that note the couple’s marriage certificate in St. Louis County, MO, signed on Dec. 27, 2023.

Currently, the couple is expecting their first child together . The infant will be Ashanti’s first and Nelly’s third . The St. Louis rapper is the father to Chanelle, 29, and Cornell Haynes III, 24, as well as the adoptive parent to his late sister, Jackie Donahue’s, kids — Shawn and Sydney Thomas.

Ashanti Laughs At Boyfriend Nelly For Losing Tooth In Las Vegas

The two musicians first dated in 2003 and dated for 10 years before breaking up in 2013. Rapper Fat Joe has claimed he’s responsible for their new “happily ever after” after the two re-connected at his  Verzuz  battle against Ja Rule in 2021.

“Never in a million years did I think we would be here,” Ashanti exclaimed , referring to their past. “Ten years ago — maybe yes — but after our breakup, you know, I didn’t even think we’d ever have a conversation again .”

“The growth has been like superb, you know, like on both ends,” she continued. “We are both at a place where like before, sometimes we would argue and walk out, slam the door, and not talk for a few days. Now, it’s kinda like, ‘All right, you good?’ […] It’s not like holding on and bickering and we find out what the resolution is,” noting, “We are so, so aligned.”

Thursday, 8:11 a.m.* – Nelly Korda/Ruoning Yin/Hannah Green

Rolex Rankings No. 1 Nelly Korda will be looking for her seventh victory of the 2024 LPGA Tour season this week at Sahalee Country Club. Korda has won six times already this year, capturing the LPGA Drive On Championship, the FIR HILLS SERI PAK Championship, the Ford Championship presented by KCC, the T-Mobile Match Play presented by MGM Rewards, The Chevron Championship and the Mizuho Americas Open, all before June 1. With her five consecutive victories from January to April, Korda became the third known player since 1978 to win five straight times on the LPGA Tour, joining Nancy Lopez and Annika Sorenstam. And after her triumph at Liberty National Golf Club, Korda became the first player since Inbee Park in 2013 to win six times in a single LPGA Tour season and is the first American to accomplish the feat since Beth Daniel won seven times in 1990. The 2021 KPMG Women’s PGA Championship winner missed the cut in her last two starts on the LPGA Tour at the U.S. Women’s Open and the Meijer LPGA Classic but has been fairly unfazed by that recent adversity, coming to Washington ready to once again contend for a major title. According to KPMG Performance Insights, the 25-year-old is the only player on Tour who ranks in the top 30 in every strokes gained category, most notably sitting at first in strokes gained total (+2.53), second in both strokes gained off the tee and strokes gained tee to green (+1.83) and third in strokes gained around the green (+0.49). She is also ranked first in scoring average (69.71), second in greens in regulation (74.92%), second in rounds in the 60s (21) and second in putts per green in regulation (1.75). Korda has won in every type of condition so far this season, so expect her to fare well once again at this week’s difficult venue.

Ruoning Yin collected her first major title at the 2023 KPMG Women’s PGA Championship at Baltusrol Golf Club’s Lower Course, winning by just a single stroke over Yuka Saso. Earlier last season, after winning the FIR HILLS SERI PAK Championship, Yin had joined Shanshan Feng as the only other LPGA Tour winner to hail from the People’s Republic of China, and with her major victory, she again joined Feng as the only other Chinese LPGA Tour major champion. Since her breakthrough win in New Jersey, the now 21-year-old ascended to No. 1 in the Rolex Women’s World Golf Rankings for the first time last September and has recorded eight top-10 finishes, four of which were T3s or better in the fall of 2023 and two of which have come this season, as Yin tied for eighth at the FIR HILLS SERI PAK Championship and tied for fourth at the Cognizant Founders Cup. The key to Yin’s KPMG win was her ball-striking, as she ranked first in strokes gained approach, greens in regulation and proximity to the hole en route to victory, according to KPMG Performance Insights. And it’s that long-game consistency that is oh-so critical to her on-course success week in and week out on the LPGA Tour. After finishing the 2022 and 2023 seasons ranked 16th and second, respectively, in strokes gained approach per round, that trend has continued for Yin in 2024, as she is currently 14th (+0.92) in the metric through the first half of this season. Additionally, Yin is also ranked 13th in strokes gained tee to green (+1.25).

Hannah Green is the only other player on the LPGA Tour this season besides her groupmate Korda to earn multiple victories, collecting her fourth Tour win at the HSBC Women’s World Championship and then successfully defending her title in April at the JM Eagle LA Championship presented by Plastpro. This year marks the second season that Green has earned more than one victory on the LPGA Tour, as the 27-year-old also did so in 2019 when she took home the KPMG Women’s PGA Championship title at Hazeltine National Golf Club and then won the Portland Classic that September by one stroke over Yealimi Noh. The Australian’s good form this year can be explained by the significant statistical improvements she has made over the last couple of seasons. Data provided by KPMG Performance Insights shows that Green has moved from 35th to sixth in strokes gained total from 2023 to 2024, also improving from 36th to sixth in bogey avoidance, 36th to a tie for sixth in greens in regulation and 35th to 13th in strokes gained approach. This is Green’s seventh start in the KPMG Women’s PGA Championship, and in addition to her 2019 victory, she has recorded one other top-five finish, tying for fifth at Congressional Country Club in 2022. It’s Green’s 11th tournament of the 2024 season, and along with her two wins, she has racked up three other top-20 results, including a runner-up showing at the Mizuho Americas Open, where she fell to Korda after a gritty back-nine battle in New Jersey.

Thursday, 1:28 p.m. – Lexi Thompson/Jin Young Ko/Yuka Saso

Lexi Thompson has announced that she will step away from professional golf at the conclusion of the 2024 LPGA Tour season, making the 2024 KPMG Women’s PGA Championship her last start in the major championship. The 29-year-old has teed it up in this tournament 13 times before this week, earning three top-10 finishes in 2015 at Westchester Country Club (3), in 2017 at Olympia Fields Country Club (T7) and in 2022 at Congressional Country Club (T2). She finished in a tie for 22nd in 2016, the last time the KPMG Women’s PGA Championship was held at Sahalee Country Club, and will be looking to improve upon that result this week in Sammamish, Wash. Considering she nearly captured her 12th LPGA Tour title last week at the Meijer LPGA Classic for  Simply Give , falling in a three-way playoff to eventual champion Lilia Vu and finishing in a tie for second, that might not be too tall an order for the 11-time Tour winner. This event marks her ninth start of the 2024 season, and in her eight previous tournaments, Thompson has earned one other top-three result in addition to last week’s runner-up, tying for third at the Ford Championship presented by KCC in March.

It's been a quiet season for former Rolex Rankings No. 1 Jin Young Ko, as the Republic of Korea native has recorded just two top-10 finishes so far this year, tying for eighth in her title defense at the HSBC Women's World Championship and tying for fourth at the JM Eagle LA Championship presented by Plastpro. She has also carded a pair of T12s at the Cognizant Founders Cup and the ShopRite LPGA Classic presented by Acer, but Ko has yet to really contend for her 16th LPGA Tour title this year. She’s also been quiet statistically, only ranking in the top 20 in two strokes gained categories in 2024, sitting at seventh (+1.04) in strokes gained approach and 17th in strokes gained total (+1.18), according to KPMG Performance Insights. This is Ko’s sixth start in the KPMG Women’s PGA Championship, and in her five previous appearances, she has never finished worse than T46 and has earned two top-15 results, tying for 11th in 2018 at Kemper Lakes Golf Course and tying for 14th in 2019 at Hazeltine National Golf Club. This is her first time teeing it up at Sahalee as Ko had yet to earn LPGA Tour membership in 2016.

Yuka Saso claimed her second LPGA Tour victory and second U.S. Women’s Open title just a few weeks ago at Lancaster Country Club, winning in impressive fashion by three shots over her fellow countrywoman Hinako Shibuno. She understandably missed the cut the next week at the ShopRite LPGA Classic presented by Acer, and now comes to Sahalee with a week and a half of invaluable rest, time away that should see her feeling refreshed and ready to go this week in Washington. The Rolex Rankings No. 6’s putting has been in solid form this year, as evidenced by her second-place ranking in putts per green in regulation (1.75), her sixth-place ranking in strokes gained putting (+0.96) and her 11th-place ranking in one-putts per round (7.2), according to KPMG Performance Insights. Saso is also fifth in rounds in the 60s (16), seventh in strokes gained driving (+0.64), seventh in strokes gained total (+1.53), eighth in scoring average and ninth in putting average (29.06). This is her fourth KPMG Women’s PGA Championship, and in her three previous appearances, Saso has never finished worse than T30, earning a tournament-best result of solo second in 2023 at Baltusrol Golf Club.

Thursday, 1:39 p.m. – Brooke Henderson/Lydia Ko/Ariya Jutanugarn

Brooke Henderson won the last edition of the KPMG Women’s PGA Championship to be held at Sahalee Country Club, defeating her groupmate Lydia Ko in a playoff in Sammamish, Wash. It was her second career LPGA Tour title at the time, and in the eight years since that stellar performance, Henderson has added 11 more titles to her LPGA Tour resume, becoming the winningest Canadian golfer ever, male or female. The 26-year-old hasn’t won on Tour since the 2023 Hilton Grand Vacations Tournament of Champions, a drought she will be working to end this week at a venue that holds so many fond memories. But despite her lack of recent victories, Henderson has been playing solid golf so far this season, earning five top-10 results in 13 total starts in 2024, three of which are T3s or better and the most notable of which is a tie for third that came at The Chevron Championship. This week’s KPMG Women’s PGA Championship marks Henderson’s 10th start in the event, and in addition to her win, she has earned four T6 or better results – tying for fifth in her tournament debut at Westchester Country Club in 2015, coming second at Olympia Fields in 2017, tying for sixth at Kemper Lakes Golf Course in 2018 and finishing sixth in 2020 at Aronimink Golf Club. According to KPMG Performance Insights, the Rolex Rankings No. 13 is gaining strokes in every key statistical category this season, ranking in the top 10 in strokes gained driving (9, +0.63) and strokes gained total (10, +1.39). Henderson is also second on Tour in birdies (183), rounds under par (30) and subpar holes (187), as well as third in rounds in the 60s (19) and seventh in scoring average (70.48) so far this year.

Lydia Ko referred to Sahalee Country Club as “Sahallway” in her pre-tournament press conference on Wednesday at the KPMG Women’s PGA Championship, and considering she nearly won this event when it was last held at the venue in 2016, Ko is more than qualified to make that assessment of this golf course. She fell to her groupmate Henderson in a playoff that year in Sammamish, Wash., and in the years since, Ko has only found the top 20 twice at the KPMG Women’s PGA Championship, tying for 10th at Hazeltine and tying for 18th at Aronimink. This week marks her 11th tournament of the 2024 season, and after winning right out of the gate at the Hilton Grand Vacations Tournament of Champions and finishing second the week after at the LPGA Drive On Championship, Ko has cooled slightly. She recorded four straight top-20 results in the Blue Bay LPGA (T4), the Ford Championship presented by KCC (T13), the T-Mobile Match Play presented by MGM Rewards (T18) and The Chevron Championship (T17) before finishing T35 at the Cognizant Founders Cup and missing back-to-back cuts at the Mizuho Americas Open and the U.S. Women’s Open. But Ko is still looking pretty solid statistically, ranking eighth in strokes gained total (+1.51), 16th in strokes gained around the green (+0.35) and 17th in strokes gained approach (+0.76). A win this week would not only be significant for Ko as it would be her third career major title, but it would also give her the last point necessary to qualify for the LPGA Hall of Fame, a goal Ko has been working to accomplish since earning her 26th Hall of Fame point in January at Lake Nona Golf and Country Club.

Ariya Jutanugarn is making her 10th start in the KPMG Women’s PGA Championship at Sahalee and is returning to a venue at which she has good memories from competing in 2016. The Thailand native finished solo third that year, carding rounds of 70-75-68-66 to earn her tournament-best result in the major championship and her first of two top-10 finishes at the KPMG Women’s PGA Championship. The 28-year-old has not won on the LPGA Tour since capturing the Dow Championship title in 2021 alongside her sister Moriya Jutanugarn and will be working this week to put another solid result on the board in what’s been a mixed bag of a season for Jutanugarn. In 12 events, she has missed six cuts but has still recorded three top-20 results, the best of which was a tie for third that came at the Mizuho Americas Open. Jutanugarn’s most notable statistical ranking this season is in strokes gained approach, a metric in which she is 12th on the LPGA Tour, picking up an average of 0.93 strokes on the field with her approach game, according to KPMG Performance Insights.

Ashanti and Nelly are married -- and they have been for six months, according to public records in Missouri. 

The marriage date is listed as Dec. 27, 2023 in Nelly's hometown of St. Louis County, Missouri.  TMZ  was first to report that the 43-year-old singer and the 49-year-old rapper  -- who are currently expecting their first child together and announced their engagement in April -- have actually been married for months.

ET recently spoke exclusively with the John Tucker Must Die star about all of the exciting things happening in their lives, including planning the wedding of her dreams and how Nelly popped the question.

"It was just such a beautiful, intimate moment," she told ET , adding that it happened as they were watching TV in bed and she was wearing his T-shirt and boxers. "We were not dressy."

"I cried. I gave him the biggest hug and kiss ever," she described of the moment. "I FaceTimed everyone I know... I was overjoyed and shocked and surprised and happy kind of like all in one."

Ashanti also told ET that they plan to have her give birth to their little one before holding a big wedding with family and friends, sharing that she considers factors like a beach, sunshine and palm trees all non-negotiables. 

It's a joyous moment for the couple, who initially dated in the early aughts but split in 2013 after several years together. As for the rekindling of their romance -- which sent the R&B world into a frenzy -- the pair was first spotted together again  last year.

In February 2023, ET spoke with Nelly at the GRAMMYs, where he shared that time had healed his and Ashanti's past wounds.

"Time does wonders for a lot of different things," he told ET. "And time is one of those things that allows you time to reflect on what's what, and you get a chance to see things in a different light and see your faults. So I think we both did that and it's cool that we just friends."

The "Dilemma" emcee  later confirmed that they were back together , calling it a surprise for both of them. 

"It wasn't anything that I don't think was planned," Nelly shared, adding that he believes time apart played a role in their second shot at love. 

He continued, "I think we both were pretty much doing what we do, but sometimes being separate you understand one another more. You be like, 'Yo, let me see exactly what they see.' You know, because we all can be defensive sometimes in our own relationships. We know we wrong but we going to stand on it. But we all a victim to that."

Ashanti echoed her man's words during her latest interview with ET, sharing that she believes they had to separate in order to independently become the people they are today. 

"The growth has been like superb, you know, like on both ends," she said of their relationship now as compared to a decade ago. "We are both at a place where like before, sometimes we would argue and walk out, slam the door, and not talk for a few days."

"Now," she continued, "it's kind of like, 'All right, you good?' You know, give me a kiss goodbye and it's over... It's not like holding on and bickering and we find out what the resolution is. We apologize... It used to take me a little longer to apologize."

World No. 1 Nelly Korda holds clubhouse lead at 2024 KPMG Women's PGA Championship

S AMMAMISH, Wa. -- The pressures of a major championship melted away on the first tee when Nelly Korda looked over and saw her nephew, Greyson DelPrete, outside the ropes. Korda’s big sister Jessica arrived on Wednesday with her four-month-old son, but Nelly wasn’t sure exactly when they’d join her on the course at the KPMG Women’s PGA Championship.

“His giggles just give me so much happiness,” said Korda, who opened with a 3-under 69 at Sahalee Country Club to hold the clubhouse lead.

Though she’s coming into the third major of the year off two consecutive missed cuts, Korda’s 2024 has been historically brilliant. With five consecutive victories and six overall, including her second career major, a victory this week would put her in rarified air.

Since 1970, only three Americans have won seven or more times on the LPGA in a single season. Beth Daniel was the most recent in 1990 with seven, while Nancy Lopez won nine (1978) and eight times (1979) in her first two seasons on the LPGA. Kathy Whitworth won seven times in 1973.

Korda’s opening 69 included three consecutive birdies on Nos. 13-15 and a double-bogey on the fourth after she made the turn. She closed with a birdie on the par-3 ninth to end on a high note.

“I took my chances where I could and I played safe for the majority of the round,” she said.

When it comes to strategy, Korda is often reliant on long-time caddie Jason McDede -- sometimes a little too reliant.

This week, she said, they decided that McDede would give her the number, how far she should land it, and then she would take it from there to feel more confident about each decision. Last week at a windy Meijer LPGA Classic, Korda struggled with going long on several approach shots in an opening 76.

“He's going to disagree or agree,” said Korda of her chats with McDede, “but for the majority, it was a lot of agreeing today, so it was good.

While she missed the cut last week, Korda found something with the driver on Friday at the Meijer, which could prove massive this week.

“That's the tough part about the golf course here,” she said. “If you don't hit the fairway you don't get to be aggressive. You can't take your opportunities.”

Sahalee is undoubtedly a mental grind, and for some, like Allisen Corpuz, that’s a good thing. Corpuz opened with a 70, joining a host of players at 2 under including, Leona Maguire, Charley Hull and Amy Yang.

“I feel like weeks like this where par is always going to be a good score, I'm just pretty good at staying calm,” said the 2023 U.S. Women’s Open champion, “just playing it a little safer.”

KPMG Women’s PGA Championship provides one last qualifying opportunity for Paris

One of the last Olympic qualifying events for the 2024 women’s golf competition at Le Golf National takes place this week at the KPMG Women’s PGA Championship at Sahalee Country Club in Sammamish, Wash.

The final 60 qualifiers will be determined on Monday, following the conclusion of the third major championship of the LPGA Tour season. With one last chance to earn a spot in the field in Paris, many players in this week’s field will be working to capitalize on this final shot at Olympic qualification.

In the top 15, the United States remains the only country with more than two representatives, as Nelly Korda, Lilia Vu and Rose Zhang lead the way for the Americans. Australia, the People’s Republic of China and the Republic of Korea each have two players in the top 15. China's group of athletes includes this week’s defending champion, Ruoning Yin, who will be making her Olympic debut in Paris.

New Zealand’s Lydia Ko currently sits at 15th in both the Olympic Golf Ranking and the Rolex Women’s World Golf Rankings with 2023 CPKC Women’s Open winner Megan Khang nipping at her heels. Khang is 16th in the world ranking and trying to become the fourth American qualifier for the 2024 Games, something she would be likely to accomplish with a victory in Washington.

Two of the tighter races for qualification involve Japan and Sweden. While Yuka Saso claimed her place at Le Golf National with her victory at the U.S. Women’s Open presented by Ally, Ayaka Furue and Nasa Hataoka are duking it out for the second qualifying spot for Japan. The pair are separated by one position in the Rolex Rankings, and a good finish for either player would qualify them to compete in Paris, something that Furue has yet to do in her young career and that Hataoka has only done once, teeing it up in her first Games in Tokyo in 2021.

Maja Stark and Linn Grant are currently qualified for the Swedish team, with Stark sitting at 16th in the Olympic Golf Ranking and 17th in the Rolex Rankings and Grant at 19th in the OGR and ranked 27th in the world. Stark is seemingly all but locked in to make her Olympic debut in just under two months’ time, but Madelene Sagstrom is working to chase down Grant. Sagstrom is 11 spots behind in the Rolex Rankings.

It would take a monumental effort from Sagstrom to catch up to her younger counterpart, and while a major victory at the KPMG Women’s PGA Championship would certainly close that gap, winning at a challenging venue like Sahalee is an incredibly tall order, even for the most seasoned of veterans.

Two other notable players who are currently qualified are Colombia’s Mariajo Uribe and Finland’s Ursula Wikstrom. Uribe is one of a handful of mothers who are ranked in the top 60 of the Olympic Golf Ranking and has announced her intentions to retire after the 2024 Games. Wikstrom would be the oldest player in the field at Le Golf National, as she turns 44 in July.
