Participants must be over the age of 18 at the time of entry. NO PURCHASE NECESSARY TO PARTICIPATE IN THE PROGRAM. A PURCHASE WILL NOT INCREASE YOUR CHANCES OF EARNING A REWARD.

The ILLUME by Four Seasons Preferred Partner Achieve and Earn Rewards Program (the “ Program ”) consists of periodic rewards programs (each a “ Rewards Program ”) which begin on the start date and time specified in the Advisor Rewards page located at https://preferredpartners.fourseasons.com/resources/advisor_rewards/ (such page, the “ Advisor Rewards Page ”, and each such date, a “ Rewards Program Start Date ”) and end at the end date and time specified in the Advisor Rewards Page(each such date, a “ Rewards Program End Date ”). Each such period commencing on a Rewards Program Start Date and continuing through the corresponding Rewards Program End Date is referred to herein as a “ Rewards Period ”.  The Program is sponsored by Four Seasons Hotels Limited (the “ Program Sponsor ”).  The Program Sponsor’s computer is the official clock for the Program.

  • How to Enter : All entrants that are sales advisors for Participating Agencies who are residents of an Eligible Country and are over the age of 18 at the time of entry will be eligible to enter each applicable Rewards Program (“ Eligible Sales Advisors ”).  Any Four Seasons Preferred Partner travel agency that assists with room and booking fulfillment for properties managed by the Program Sponsor or any of its affiliates (“ Properties ”) will be deemed a “ Participating Agency ”.  To participate in a Rewards Program, an Eligible Sales Advisor must:
  • Accept and agree to the ILLUME by Four Seasons Terms of Service located at https://www.fourseasons.com/landing-pages/corporate/illume-terms-of-service/ (the “ Terms of Service ”) during the Rewards Period, to the extent such Eligible Sales Advisor has not done so prior to the Rewards Program Start Date; and
  • Earn the achievements (i.e., certain badge types) set forth in the Advisor Rewards Page that are required to be entered into such Rewards Program by taking the steps required to earn such achievements as set forth in the ILLUME by Four Seasons Advisor Guide located at https://www.fourseasons.com/landing-pages/corporate/illume-advisor-guide/ , during the applicable Rewards Period.

For the avoidance of doubt, any achievements earned prior to or after the Rewards Period will not count toward such Rewards Program.  By entering any Rewards Program, you agree that you have read and will abide by these Official Rules and the Terms of Service.  Participation in each Rewards Program is voluntary and does not require you to purchase anything from the Program Sponsor.  Maximum of one (1) Achieve and Earn Reward (as defined below) per Rewards Program per Eligible Sales Advisor (regardless of how many achievements are earned during the applicable Rewards Period).  Maximum of two (2) Achieve and Earn Rewards per calendar year per Eligible Sales Advisor.

  • Rewards : All Eligible Sales Advisors who complete the entry steps set forth above for a Rewards Program during the applicable Rewards Period, and who are otherwise eligible under, and in compliance with, these Official Rules and the Terms of Service (“ Qualifying Advisors ”), will earn a Four Seasons Gift Card, the amount and type of which will be set forth on the the Advisor Rewards Page (each, an “Achieve and Earn Reward”). Eligible Sales Advisors will be solely responsible for all expenses not expressly described herein. Four Seasons Gift Card restrictions, conditions and limitations will apply. Lost, mutilated, or stolen Four Seasons Gift Cards will not be replaced.  Allow 3 to 4 weeks after validation of arrangement for receipt of reward.  There is no substitution, cash equivalent or transfer of rewards allowed. The Program Sponsor reserves the right to substitute rewards.  No other substitution or transfer of rewards is permitted.  In order to receive a reward, Eligible Sales Advisors will be required to provide an accurate mailing address and email address in their ILLUME by Four Seasons profile, and may be required to provide proof of identification or eligibility.  Any and all taxes on any reward, including income, goods and services and/or sales taxes, are the sole responsibility of the Qualifying Advisors.  Any Qualifying Advisors who are residents of the United States and earn rewards hereunder with a total value of $600 or greater will be issued a 1099 U.S. Tax Form for the actual value of the rewards.
  • Eligibility : The Program is open to Eligible Sales Advisors who are legal residents of an Eligible Country who are at least 18 years old at the time of entry.  The reward shall only be delivered to Qualifying Advisors who have an ILLUME by Four Seasons profile that includes a valid mailing address in an Eligible Country.  Entries are limited to individuals only; commercial enterprises and business entities are not eligible.  By participating in the Program, each Eligible Sales Advisor accepts the terms and conditions stated in these Official Rules, agrees to be bound by the decisions of the Program Sponsor and warrants that s/he is eligible to participate in the Program and has received consent from his/her Participating Agency to participate in the Program, as required.  Employees, independent contractors, officers, and directors of (a) the Program Sponsor, its affiliates and subsidiaries and (b) owners (“ Owners ”) of Properties and their respective affiliates and subsidiaries, and, in each case, their immediate family members and persons living in the same household, are not eligible to participate in the Program.  Certain jurisdictions may require Participating Agencies and Eligible Sales Advisors to disclose their relationship with the Program Sponsor, including their potential participation in this Program, to customers purchasing rooms for the Properties during the applicable Rewards Period.  Participating Agencies and Eligible Sales Advisors are responsible for making such disclosures if required to do so under applicable law in their jurisdiction. PROGRAM IS VOID WHERE PROHIBITED OR RESTRICTED BY LAW and is subject to applicable federal, state, provincial/territorial and local laws and regulations.
  • Qualifying Advisors : The Qualifying Advisors will be notified by e-mail within 3 to 4 weeks after the applicable Rewards Period. The Program Sponsor is not responsible for and shall not be liable for late, lost, misdirected or unsuccessful efforts to notify any Qualifying Advisors. The Qualifying Advisors agree to the use of his/her name, address (by reference only to the state, province, county or region), Participating Agency that he/she is associated with, likeness, and/or reward information by Program Sponsor and Owners for promotional purposes in any medium without additional permission or compensation to the extent permitted by law. Where lawful, the Qualifying Advisors may be required to sign and return a Publicity Consent and Liability Release. In connection with the above and in compliance with the provisions of the Mexican Federal Law for the Protection of Personal Data in Possession of Individuals, you may find our privacy policy available in the webpage, http://www.fourseasons.com under the "Privacy Policy" section.
  • Conditions : The Program Sponsor, Owners and each of their Relatives (as defined under the Companies Act 2013 of India, as applicable), agents, directors, officers, shareholders, employees, insurers, servants, parents, subsidiaries, divisions, affiliates, predecessors, successors, representatives, advertising, promotion, and fulfillment agencies, and legal advisors (the “ Released Entities ”), are not responsible for, shall not be liable for, and hereby disclaim, to the fullest extent permitted by law, all liability arising from or relating to: (a) late, lost, stolen, delayed, damaged, misdirected, misaddressed, incomplete, unintelligible or postage-due entries; (b) telephone, electronic, hardware or software program, network, Internet, computer or other malfunctions, failures, or difficulties of any kind, whether human or technical; (c) failed, incomplete, garbled, or delayed computer or e-mail transmissions; (d) any condition caused by events beyond the control of the Program Sponsor; (e) any injuries, losses, or damages of any kind arising in connection with or as a result of the reward, or acceptance, possession, or use of the reward, or from participation in the Program; or (f) any printing or typographical errors in any materials associated with the Program. The Program Sponsor reserves the right, in its sole discretion, to suspend, modify or cancel the Program and/or any specific Rewards Program should any unauthorized human intervention, false reservations or other causes beyond the Program Sponsor’s control corrupt or affect the administration, security, fairness or proper conduct of the Program and/or such Rewards Program.  In the event that proper administration of any Rewards Program is prevented by such causes as contemplated above, the Program Sponsor will select the Qualifying Advisors from all eligible, non-suspect entries received for such Rewards Program prior to such occurrence.  By participating in the Program, Eligible Sales Advisors and Qualifying Advisors agree to release, discharge and hold harmless the Released Entities, and all others associated with the development and execution of the Program and any applicable Rewards Program, from any and all losses, damages, rights, claims and actions of any kind arising out of or relating to the Program and any applicable Rewards Program, participation in the Program and any applicable Rewards Program, the reward, and/or acceptance, possession, use or misuse of the reward, including but not limited to statutory and common law claims for misappropriation or Eligible Sales Advisor’s right of publicity to the fullest extent permitted by law.  This Program and any applicable Rewards Program shall be governed by: (i) New York law for any disputes involving residents of the United States, Brazil or Chile, (ii) the laws of the province of Ontario and all federal Canadian laws applicable therein for any disputes involving residents of Canada, (iii) the laws of England and courts of England and Wales for any disputes involving residents of the United Kingdom, Australia or India, (iv) the laws of Mexico for any disputes involving residents of Mexico; (v) the laws of Switzerland for any disputes involving residents of Switzerland; (vi) the laws of Belgium for any disputes involving residents of Belgium; (vii) the laws of China for any disputes involving residents of China; (viii) the laws of Turkey for any disputes involving residents of Turkey; (ix) the laws of Singapore for any disputes involving residents of Singapore; and (x) the laws of the United Arab Emirates for disputes involving residents of the United Arab Emirates.  The dispute resolution procedure set forth in the Terms of Service, and any other disclaimers, covenants, warranties and/or indemnities set forth therein, will apply to all Eligible Sales Advisors and their participation in the Program, except to the extent that any term or condition in these Official Rules conflicts with a term or condition in the Terms of Service (in which case the term or condition set forth in these Official Rules will govern with respect to the Program and activities related thereto).

The Complete Guide to Four Seasons Preferred Partner

Four Seasons Hotels and Resorts has become one of the most recognizable luxury hotel brands in the world. The company originated with a small footprint in Canada, but there are currently over 100 properties in their portfolio worldwide.

While Four Seasons doesn’t have a loyalty program for earning and redeeming points, and room rates are quite expensive, there’s still a way to squeeze extra value out of a stay.

This is accomplished by making a booking through the Four Seasons Preferred Partner program.

What Is Four Seasons Preferred Partner?

The Four Seasons Preferred Partner program incentivizes travellers to book Four Seasons hotels by offering additional benefits and perks at no extra cost.

While the program is available to everyone, you won’t be able to make these bookings on your own. Rather, booking a stay with Four Seasons Preferred Partner can only be done through an authorized travel advisor.

Every single Four Seasons property participates in the Preferred Partner program, and to further sweeten the deal, the price you pay is exactly the same as if you were to book with Four Seasons directly.

In fact, unlike other similar programs, such as Virtuoso or Marriott STARS , the Four Seasons Preferred Partner program can be combined with any available rate, such as prepaid and promotional rates, and not just flexible rates.

Note that you can also book Four Seasons Private Retreats through Preferred Partner. Private Retreats offer up villas and residences at 27 different properties, where you can enjoy more space during your travels.

four seasons travel agent commission

Book a hotel stay with Prince of Travel through Four Seasons Preferred Partner and enjoy exclusive additional benefits at no cost to you, including:

  • Daily breakfast for two guests, including in-room dining
  • Room upgrade, subject to availability at check-in
  • $100 (USD) property credit for room bookings; $200 (USD) property credit for suite bookings
  • Special offers combinable with Preferred Partner benefits
  • Third, Fourth, Fifth, or Sixth Night Free at select properties

What Are the Benefits of Booking Through Four Seasons Preferred Partner?

The benefits you receive when booking through Four Seasons Preferred Partner differ depending on the property. Generally speaking, you can expect to receive:

  • Complimentary breakfast for two, per room
  • A $100 (USD) property credit for room bookings or a $200 (USD) property credit for suite bookings
  • One-category room upgrade

Additional benefits that may be offered at select properties include early check-in and late check-out, which is subject to availability, as well as a Third, Fourth, or Fifth Night Free.

Complimentary breakfast offered through Preferred Partner is unique, in that you can choose to eat in the hotel’s restaurant, or in the comfort of your room with in-room dining.

Furthermore, the breakfast is for two people per room , so if you book a Four Seasons Private Retreat or a suite with multiple bedrooms for more than two guests, then more people would be eligible for the complimentary breakfast.

How to Maximize Value with Four Seasons Preferred Partner

If you’d like to book a stay at a luxurious Four Seasons hotel, you’ll want to leverage Preferred Partner benefits with a few other opportunities to make sure that you’re getting the best value possible.

Combine Four Seasons Preferred Partner with Promotional Offers

Aside from the standard Preferred Partner perks, each Four Seasons hotel may offer its own additional benefits. In order to find out if any are available, simply search for your desired Four Seasons hotel, and click on “Offers”.

For example, if you book a stay of at least four nights at the Four Seasons Whistler until April 9, 2023, you’ll receive the Fifth Night Free.

Other public offers may include late check-out, discounts on weekday stays, and extra hotel credits. Any of these additional inclusions can be combined with the benefits offered through Four Seasons Preferred Partner.

Therefore, you should always check for available public offers, in order to see what can stack with the Preferred Partner benefits.

Book Shorter Stays

As hotel credits are only given once per stay, no matter how long your stay is, you’ll get the most relative value out of this specific benefit if you book a shorter stay.

Note that making multiple consecutive bookings will still only count as one stay for the purpose of receiving the $100 or $200 (USD) credit.

Compare with Virtuoso and Amex FHR

Many Four Seasons hotels can also be booked through Virtuoso or American Express Fine Hotels & Resorts (FHR) . Through both programs, you’ll receive similar benefits as if you were to book with Four Seasons Preferred Partner.

Below is a table that summarizes the similarities and differences between Preferred Partner, Virtuoso, and Amex FHR.

The main difference is that the $100 or $200 (USD) credit benefit through the Preferred Partner program can be more flexible. It’s not limited to just the spa or the restaurant, as the credits offered through Virtuoso or Amex FHR might be, but can rather be used for any on-site amenity.

Furthermore, only suites booked through Preferred Partner are eligible for a $200 (USD) credit. Suites booked through Virtuoso or Amex FHR only receive a $100 (USD) credit.

Another difference is that the complimentary breakfast offered through Four Seasons Preferred Partner can be enjoyed in your room or in the restaurant, whereas in-room dining is usually excluded as an option through Virtuoso or Amex FHR.

Keep in mind, however, that Amex FHR offers guaranteed 4pm late check-out, whereas Preferred Partner doesn’t provide late check-out in any capacity as a standard benefit. Rather, each individual hotel may include it on a promotional basis.

Lastly, Four Seasons hotels generally prioritize upgrades for bookings made through its own Preferred Partner, compared to the other two booking channels.

Four Seasons Hotels and Resorts make up some of the most luxurious properties in the world. To help you get the most out of your stay, Four Seasons Preferred Partner adds additional value at no extra cost.

Booking through this program affords you extra perks, including hotel credits, room upgrades, and complimentary breakfast, along with other benefits offered by individual hotels.

If you have dreams of celebrating a special occasion at a Four Seasons hotel, or even if you’re a frequent visitor at any of their properties, make sure to get the best deal by booking with a Four Seasons Preferred Partner travel advisor.

Four Seasons Preferred FAQs

What is a four seasons preferred partner.

The Four Seasons Preferred program is an exclusive, invitation-only network of independent travel advisors, like our Fora Advisors . Travelers enjoy Four Seasons Preferred Partner amenities only when they book through an agency or advisor (like Fora and Fora Advisors) belonging to the Preferred program.

What are the benefits of booking with a Four Seasons Preferred Partner?

Preferred Partner amenities vary between hotel properties, but — spoiler alert — travelers can expect nothing less than VIP treatment. Common Four Seasons Preferred Partner amenities include complimentary breakfasts, room upgrades and hotel credits.

Booking with a Fora Advisor automatically grants you these exclusive perks and top-tier upgrades.

How do you get Four Seasons Preferred perks?

Easy! Book with a Fora Advisor and you’ll automatically access all available Four Seasons perks.

Can I get Four Seasons Preferred Partner amenities by reserving directly? Do you have to book with a travel advisor?

Four Seasons Preferred Partner benefits are only available when you book through an affiliated agent, like our Fora Advisors.

Is Four Seasons affiliated with Marriott?

Nope! The Four Seasons is not affiliated with Marriott, Hyatt or any other company. The Four Seasons is its own hotel group.

Which Four Seasons hotels and properties participate in the Preferred Partner program?

While the offered perks may vary, all Four Seasons hotels and resorts participate in the Preferred Partner program. Check in with a Fora Advisor to learn what perks are offered at your desired destinations.

Is there a way to maximize the value of a Four Seasons Preferred Partner stay? Is there a minimum stay requirement?

Your advisor will always make sure you get the best value, in accordance with your preferences, during your stay. Additionally, they can confirm whether your chosen hotel has any minimum stay requirements for Four Seasons Preferred Partner perks.

Where can I find the top Four Seasons Preferred Partner offers?

There’s no central place where you can find all the best Four Seasons Preferred Partner offers, and each hotel is in charge of its perks and rates.

A Fora Advisor can fill you in on Preferred Partner amenities available at the destinations you’re interested in, however.

Can Four Seasons Preferred Partner amenities be added to existing reservations?

Yes. Speak with an advisor to learn more.

Is the Preferred Partner program the only way to get Four Seasons discounts?

The Four Seasons Preferred Partner rate is typically the best available. In rare cases where a better rate is available to you, perhaps as a loyalty reward, it’s still worth connecting with a Fora Advisor, as they will likely be able to supply additional perks on top of your discounted rate (not to mention expert travel advice).

How do you book a Four Seasons Preferred Partner rate?

Booking Four Seasons Preferred Partner amenities and rates is as easy as chatting with a Fora Advisor. They can handle all the heavy lifting while you get excited about your trip.

How to get the best deal on Four Seasons hotels?

Four Seasons offers a variety of complimentary benefits to guests of Four Seasons Prefered Partner (FSPP) agents.

FSPP agents also have direct contacts at every property within the Four Seasons portfolio and can work to fully customise your stay.

Connecting rooms, multi property itineraries, dietary requirements, transfers etc. can all be taken care of seamlessly.

There is a rigorous screening process to become FSPP accredited and I am honoured and delighted to say that I am part of this select group of travel professionals.

What are the main FSPP benefits?

Benefits vary by property and dates but these are some examples of the most frequently provided benefits that you can expect as the guest of an FSPP agent:

* $100 hotel credit: This tends to be the minimum with credits all the way up to $1000 per booking sometimes available! † Room upgrades:  some properties offer a confirmed upgrade at the time of booking,  others only confirm the upgrade if space is available during check-in. Either way you will have upgrade priority over all other guests, including those booking directly on the Four Seasons website (or via a Virtuoso agent).

How to get discounts at Four Seasons hotels?

So far I’ve described extra that you get by paying the same price offered directly on the Four Seasons website.

It gets better though…

Four Seasons hotels never want their advertised room rates to drop below a certain level because it’s bad for their reputation, as one of the world’s top hotel chains.

However they do discount their rooms in another way :

They frequently run hidden promotions through FSPP agencies which give you the 3rd, 4th or 5th night free .

This is on top of all the other FSPP extras!

These free nights give you a very significant discount on your booking.

I found a cheaper rate on a competing website!

This is where it really pays to use an FSPP advisor. If you have seen a cheaper competing rate online I will work to ensure that the property not only honours the lower rate, they will STILL add the full suite of FSPP benefits to your price matched booking!

What’s the catch?

Many FSPP agents put up barriers to stop guests booking with them and taking advantage of the best offers.

For example:

❌ Not accepting customers that spend less than $10k per year in bookings

❌ Adding a ‘service fee’ on each booking, which eats into your benefits.

Here at The Luxury Traveller all FSPP booking enquiries are welcome

Just drop us an email below and let me know which property and dates you’re looking to book, we will take care of the rest!

Four Seasons doesn’t have a dedicated loyalty program in the same way that Marriott, Hilton, IHG, and Hyatt do. Ultimately, the brand’s best selling point is the Four Seasons experience, which is clearly enough to keep droves of travelers swarming to stay at their properties.

There’s no such thing as Four Seasons points or elite status tiers. But it’s still possible to enjoy elite-like benefits on Four Seasons stays, made possible by Four Seasons Preferred Partner.

Four Seasons Preferred Partner is an invitation-only program for travel agencies to offer travelers who book through them lots of perks and amenities.

In this guide, we’ll show you what to expect from Four Seasons Preferred Partner bookings, as well as how you can maximize these bookings for the best benefits and experiences possible.

Lastly, we’ll walk you through our favorite properties that are known to have exclusive offers for even more value.

Four Seasons Preferred Partner bookings can be made at any Four Seasons property .

This is in stark contrast with other programs like Marriott STARS , Hilton Impresario , and Hyatt Privé , which only offer enhanced perks to specific brands like St. Regis, The Ritz-Carlton, and Park Hyatt.

The benefits you receive when booking through a Four Seasons Preferred Partner will vary from property to property.

However, most of the benefits are consistent:

  • Daily full breakfast for 2 people per bedroom, served in a hotel restaurant or through In-Room Dining
  • Hotel or resort credit of $100 to $200 per stay (guest rooms receive $100 while suites, specialty suites, and private retreats receive $200)
  • Upgrade of one category (based on availability at time of check-in)
  • Complimentary standard Wi-Fi in all guest rooms and premium Wi-Fi in all suites
  • Welcome note at check-in

For example, the Four Seasons Hotel Beijing offers guaranteed late checkout at 4 p.m., while the Four Seasons Hotel The Westcliff, Johannesburg offers early check-in and late checkout (subject to availability).

You can reach out to UP’s very own Leigh Rowan at [email protected] who can help book your upcoming Four Seasons trip, and get access to extra perks (room upgrades, $100 credit, complimentary daily breakfast and more)

Amex Fine Hotels & Resorts vs. Four Seasons Preferred Partner Benefits

One of the most popular ways to book Four Seasons stays is through American Express Fine Hotels & Resorts , which conveys these perks:

  • Daily breakfast for 2 people
  • Room upgrade upon arrival, when available
  • Noon check-in, when available
  • Guaranteed 4 p.m. late checkout
  • Complimentary Wi-Fi
  • Special amenity unique to each property valued at a minimum of $100, such as a food and beverage credit, a spa credit, or a property credit

The main benefit of Amex Fine Hotels & Resorts is that these perks can be accessed by anybody who holds a Platinum-tiered card or higher, including The Platinum Card ® from American Express ,  The Business Platinum Card ® from American Express , and the  Centurion ® Card from American Express .

Keep in mind that you will often see price increases relative to the best available rate that Four Seasons offers when booking direct.

Breakfast Benefits

The biggest discrepancy in the breakfast benefit is that Amex Fine Hotels & Resorts only offers daily breakfast for 2 people, while Four Seasons Preferred Partner offers daily breakfast for 2 people per bedroom .

If you’re booking a multi-room suite or villa, you’ll have more people covered under Four Seasons Preferred Partner’s breakfast benefit.

The other benefit of Four Seasons Preferred Partner is that your complimentary breakfast extends to in-room dining, in addition to the hotel’s restaurant, so room service is included.

Four Seasons Preferred Partner upgrades are prioritized higher than those through Amex Fine Hotels & Resorts, so your upgrade chances are higher.

Early Check-in and Late Checkout

The main drawback of Four Seasons Preferred Partner bookings relative to Amex Fine Hotels & Resorts is that early check-in and late checkout are not standard benefits.

Amex Fine Hotels & Resorts offers guaranteed late checkout and early check-in (subject to availability).

Using a Travel Agent

Lastly, stays through Four Seasons Preferred Partner are generally more personalized because you’re making your booking through an agent that has a connection to the hotel you’re staying at.

With Amex Fine Hotels & Resorts, eligible cardholders have the ability to get benefits without going through a special travel agent.

Bottom Line: Four Seasons Preferred Partner stays are generally cheaper than Amex Fine Hotels & Resorts. In addition, your odds of getting an upgrade are higher with Four Seasons Preferred Partner, and the breakfast benefit includes 2 people per bedroom booked and extends to room service. Lastly, Four Seasons Preferred Partner stays have a higher potential to be customized.

You can’t book a Four Seasons Preferred Partner rate by yourself — you need to contact a travel advisor or agent that is a Four Seasons Preferred Partner.

Let’s take a look at all of the terms and conditions of Four Seasons Preferred Partner:

Is There a Minimum Stay Requirement?

There is no minimum stay requirement, so you can get Four Seasons Preferred Partner benefits on 1-night or 1-month stays!

What Rates Qualify for Four Seasons Preferred Partner Benefits?

In general, you will pay the same as the publicly available rate on the Four Seasons website!

This is great news because almost all rates available directly with Four Seasons are eligible for Four Seasons Preferred Partner amenities.

In contrast, some programs require you to book the standard flexible rate, which may be hundreds of dollars per night more than the cheapest direct rate.

Can Existing Reservations Get Four Seasons Preferred Partner Benefits?

It depends. In some cases, Four Seasons Preferred Partners can help you get these benefits honored on your reservation, especially if the booking was made directly on the Four Seasons website.

It never hurts to reach out!

What Credit Card Should I Use?

Unlike Amex Fine Hotels & Resorts, you don’t need to make a booking with a specific card to get Four Seasons Preferred Partner benefits.

To earn the best rewards, we recommend using the Chase Sapphire Reserve ® or the Ink Business Preferred ® Card , both of which earn 3x points on travel.

Not all Four Seasons Preferred Partner offers are created equal. Some properties promote exclusive offers specifically to Four Seasons Preferred Partners that can sweeten the deals.

At a high level, these typically consist of guaranteed upgrades, extra experiences, complimentary ground transfers, and extra resort credits.

Lastly, these offers can change from time to time, so be sure to reach out to your travel advisor to inquire about the state of these offers.

Four Seasons Preferred Partner Benefits

Updated March 2024

Four Seasons Preferred Partner offers special benefits and perks if you reserve your Four Seasons hotel or resort with TravelSort (see How to Become a TravelSort Client and our New Client Form ) or another Four Seasons Preferred Partner agency. Rates are the same as what is offered on the Four Seasons Web site, but with the value added amenities, you receive top priority for a room or suite upgrade, and superior benefits when reserving suites and Four Seasons private residences, which enjoy a $200 hotel credit per room per stay.

  • Daily full American breakfast for up to two guests per bedroom, served through in-room dining or in the hotel restaurant, including buffets
  • Upgrade of one category, based on availability at time of check-in (excluding signature suites and villas). Note that sometimes there are exclusive Four Seasons Preferred Partner guaranteed upgrade offers, check with TravelSort
  • Resort credit of $100 per stay for guest rooms, $200 per stay for suites, $200 per bedroom per stay for multi-bedroom Four Seasons Private Residences
  • Early check-in and late check-out based on availability

May I Reserve Directly with the Four Seasons Hotel and Receive the Preferred Partner Benefits? Or Add Them to a Reservation I've Already Made?

You won't get these benefits if you book directly with the Four Seasons hotel; you need to reserve as a TravelSort Client or via another Four Seasons Preferred Partner advisor.

While it may be possible for TravelSort to add the Preferred Partner benefits to an existing Four Seasons reservation, note that you won't receive the same priority for upgrades that you would have if TravelSort had made the original reservation. This is because Four Seasons prioritizes reservations made with a Four Seasons Preferred Partner ID (which can only be attached to a new reservation, not to an existing one) for upgrades, over Preferred Partner reservations made without the Preferred Partner ID. So be sure to reach out to TravelSort before making a Four Seasons reservation. Also, since we've personally stayed at the vast majority of the Four Seasons hotels we reserve for clients, we can provide helpful advice about the property and help with selecting a room or suite.

What are the Advantages of Reserving with Four Seasons Preferred Partner vs. with AMEX Fine Hotels & Resorts?

  • Four Seasons Preferred Partner upgrades are prioritized AHEAD of AMEX Fine Hotels & Resorts upgrades
  • Four Seasons Preferred Partner benefits combine with virtually all Four Seasons hotel offers. AMEX FHR benefits do not combine with every Four Seasons promotion
  • Four Seasons Preferred Partner offers additional resort credit for suites and private residence bookings; $200 per stay for suites, and $200 per bedroom per stay for multi-bedroom private residences.
  • There are some blackout periods for AMEX FHR  rates, such as the peak holiday season for certain hotels. For Four Seasons Preferred Partner benefits and rates, there are no blackout periods; if a room is available, we can reserve it for you with the Preferred Partner amenities.
  • Four Seasons Preferred Partner always includes a full breakfast, including buffets and breakfast via room service. For some properties the AMEX FHR breakfast benefit is stingier, with a lower dollar amount per person for breakfast
  • Dedicated and personalized assistance from TravelSort, who will work closely with the Four Seasons hotel or resort to ensure you have a fantastic stay

The main advantage of AMEX Fine Hotels & Resorts is the guaranteed 4pm late check-out, although this also means that AMEX has access to reduced Four Seasons inventory during busy periods.

Can I Reserve Four Seasons Private Residences with Preferred Partner Benefits?

Yes, by reserving with TravelSort enjoy Four Seasons Preferred Partner benefits including complimentary breakfast for up to two guests per bedroom, as well as a resort credit of $200 per bedroom per stay: so a 5 bedroom private residence would enjoy a $1000 resort credit for the stay (and sometimes there are Experience More offers that add additional resort credit).

Can Four Seasons Preferred Partner Benefits Be Combined with Corporate, Group or Discounted Rates?

No, these negotiated and discounted rates can't be combined with FSPP benefits. But complimentary night offers such as 3rd night free and 4th night free, Experience More extra resort credit offers, and most other offers that appear on Four Seasons hotel Web sites can be combined.

Is a Room or Suite Upgrade Guaranteed?

Typically, no: the upgrade is based on availability at time of check-in. But as mentioned above Four Seasons Preferred Partner guests do receive upgrade priority over reservations made with AMEX, the hotel directly, and other booking channels. And there are some exclusive confirmed upgrade at booking offers that are only available to guests working with a FSPP advisor such as TravelSort. See our Top 10 Four Seasons Preferred Partner Exclusive Offers, 2024 .

Revered worldwide for the unique luxury experience curated by every location, the Four Seasons Hotel network stands alone in its approach to customer loyalty and the luxury travel experience.

Unlike Marriott , Hilton, IHG, and Hyatt, the Four Seasons doesn’t offer a dedicated loyalty program for its returning luxury travel guests.

Instead of offering its travelers status levels and points accumulations, this worldwide hotel offers the exclusive Four Seasons Preferred Partner program: an invitation-only program extended to select travel agencies and advisors that unlocks special access to high-value perks, upgrades, amenities, and experiences.

Book the Miami Four Season by using a Four Seasons Preferred Partner Agency

Booking A Luxury Experience Through A Four Seasons Preferred Partner

No two Four Seasons hotels are alike (with the exception of their renowned reputation for top-quality service). Each location offers a unique atmosphere and architectural design that maintains the anticipation of luxury travelers all over the world, earning it the title of the world’s “global chain of excellence”.

Select Four Seasons Preferred Partners , can provide a premium level of service to their clients by ensuring exclusive access to special offers, benefits, and amenities that can’t be accessed through self-booking or booking outside of the Preferred Partners network. All this with no extra charge to you, the client.

The Four Seasons website won’t show the same insider benefits a Preferred Program Partner can gain access to, and competing programs just don’t match up. The best of this program’s perks and amenities are in the details, and we’re happy to tell you why.

What Benefits Can You Get by Booking with a Four Seasons Preferred Partner?

By booking your stay at a Four Seasons hotel through Four Seasons Preferred Partners , you’ll gain VIP access to luxury perks and amenities starting with complimentary upgrades and airport transfers to booking the guaranteed best rates available.

Want to arrive at your hotel to a welcome note and complimentary gift, then gain access to experiences and perks not advertised elsewhere, all while gaining hotel credit for your stay? This is the program for you.

● Full complimentary breakfast for up to two guests, available by in-room dining or hotel restaurants (includes buffets) ● Resort credit of $100 per stay for guest rooms, $200 per stay for suites, $200 per bedroom per stay for multi-bedroom Four Seasons Private Residences ● Room upgrades that are prioritized ahead of other, similar programs ● Early check-in and late check-out based on availability

How to Maximize the Four Season Preferred Program Value

Four Seasons regularly offers opportunities for a free third night, fourth night, or increased hotel credit that can be used during your stay. These incentives offer the same value of a discounted rate, just in a slightly different format of experience.

Four Seasons updates the available promotions for each hotel and location consistently through their website under the “offers” section at the top of the page.

Can I Reserve Directly Through the Four Seasons Website?

The benefits of this program are only available when you book through a travel agent partnered with the Four Seasons Preferred Partner Program. Not all Virtuoso agents are members of this exclusive network, only select Four Seasons Preferred Partners can book your Four Seasons Preferred stay with all the benefits of a detailed itinerary, personalized support, and key access to the luxury travel lifestyle at premium rates.

Try booking at the Four Seasons yourself, and your benefits are limited to the rates listed on the Four Seasons website without any of the added upgrades, amenities, and personalized care that Virtuoso travel agents can offer.

Four Seasons Preferred Partner Vs. AMEX Fine Hotels & Resorts

AMEX Fine Hotels & Resorts is a hotel benefit program available to Platinum or Centurion American Express card members. Because of the similarities between these two programs (free breakfast, flexible check-in/out times) identifying the differences between them is essential in making sure you’re offered the best benefits and rates package.

Four Seasons Preferred Partner travel agents have put in the time to research and determine which program offers the best options for your luxury travel experience.

● When it comes to complimentary upgrades and experiences, Four Seasons Preferred Partner upgrades are prioritized ahead of AMEX Fine Hotels & Resorts (this is well known among industry insiders). ● Four Seasons Preferred Partner stays are generally cheaper than Amex Fine Hotels & Resorts. ● With Four Seasons Preferred Partner, your complimentary breakfast extends to in-room dining, in addition to the hotel’s restaurant, so room service is included. ● Amex Fine Hotels & Resorts only offers daily breakfast for 2 people. Four Seasons Preferred Partner offers daily breakfast for 2 people per room.

How To Book A Four Seasons Preferred Partner Reservation

By booking with a Four Season Preferred Partner Agency , the possibilities are considerably better than booking your stay on your own through the hotel website.

Thanks to the exclusive perks offered through this invite-only program, your advisor can even combine the Preferred Partner amenities with special offers available at Four Seasons properties. These exclusive travel partners will curate a personalized stay that fits the most ideal travel itinerary you’ve envisioned, and act as your main point of contact for any questions, concerns, upgrades, benefits, or rescheduling needs.

To book at these exclusive rates with benefits, you need to use a Four Seasons Preferred Partner, I recommend Classic Travel , just follow these steps:

● Create an account at Classic Travel ● Book the Four Seasons Hotel you want directly on the site and an agent will handle everything on the back end. Want some assistance before you book? Within your account you can reach out directly to an agent who can assist with any travel planning you may need. ● Once you have settled on a destination, hotel, and benefits package, get ready to pack your bags and take flight!

Think It’s Too Good to Be True? Check Out These Examples for Yourself!

● The Four Seasons Bali at Jimbaran Bay Promotion: fourth night free in a 2,700square foot villa for $560 USD per night. ● The Four Seasons Santa Fe Promotion: third night free for a luxury casita at $333 USD per night. ● The Four Seasons Beijing Promotion: fourth night free for a luxury stay with city views for around $200 USD per night. ● The Four Seasons Resort Hualalai Promotion: 20% off for advanced purchase with a nightly resort credit.

The Four Seasons Hotel is one of the most renowned international luxury hotel brands in the world. It is known worldwide for its premiere luxury experiences, its unmatched guest amenities, and beautifully designed architecture, all working together to create the most decadent stay and lasting memories for its guests.

With its incredible brand value, its 100+ properties in over 40 countries, and its attention to creating the most seamlessly enjoyable stay, the Four Seasons has earned its reputation as the favorite luxury brand for the world’s wealthiest travelers.

Consider the hotel’s “Golden Rule” established over seven decades ago: to treat others as they would wish to be treated themselves. That’s over seven decades of offering the finest that the luxury travel world has to offer with flourishing guest benefits and the most thoughtful attention to detail.

If you stay at luxury hotels under the Marriott umbrella (St. Regis, Ritz-Carlton, Ritz-Carlton Reserve, and others) then you should be booking your paid stays via the Marriott STARS & Luminous program.

The Four Seasons Preferred Partner Program stands out as a hallmark of luxury travel, providing discerning clients with an exceptional suite of benefits that enrich their stay at the world’s most prestigious properties.

By booking through a knowledgeable travel advisor who is part of this exclusive network, you not only secure partner rates but also gain access to a host of complimentary amenities that elevate your travel experience. The personal relationship that these advisors maintain with Four Seasons hotels ensures that you receive attention to detail and personalized service that goes far beyond the ordinary.

Exclusive offers tailored to Preferred Partners can include everything from room upgrades to unique local experiences, ensuring every trip is memorable. Moreover, priority access to accommodations and experiences ensures that Preferred Partner clients are not just welcomed guests but truly valued patrons.

Whether you’re traveling for business or leisure, the Preferred Partner Program is your gateway to the pinnacle of hospitality that the Four Seasons brand promises..

What's odd is that Australian hotels are required to advertise "all-in" hotel rates, while online travel agencies can display prices without taxes and fees.
