2024 European dates announced

Following the sellout success of Coldplay’s 2023 European stadium shows, the band have today announced a third run of European dates for summer 2024, as part of their record-breaking Music Of The Spheres World Tour.

Fans could register for first access to tickets in the presale – which begins for all shows on Tuesday, July 25 – at Coldplay.com . The presale is now closed.

The presale will start on Tuesday at 9am local time in Athens, Bucharest, Budapest, Lyon, Rome and Helsinki, and at 10am local time in Dusseldorf, Munich, Vienna and Dublin. The general sale begins at 10am local time for all cities on Friday, July 28.

Journey has just announced a new run of dates for their 50th-anniversary concert tour , this time bringing all their hits to Europe. The rock legends will begin their newest run of shows in Cardiff, Wales at the Utilita Arena in October before wrapping up at the O2 in London, England in November.

The “Don’t Stop Believin’” stars will head to Europe after a hugely successful co-headlining tour with none other than Def Leppard and The Steve Miller Band. Their North American concert dates have sold out quickly for their latest tour and their European dates look to sell the same.

The stage was impressive as were the band. Sounding like they had just released their first album, Europe rocked through the entire concert. No support act and a show so awesome it needed an intermission, we rocked, sang and danced with Joe and the boys through all the old hits and the best of the new. The energy of the guys was astounding, each having their own moment to shine. The drum solo was a stand out. It was a well crafted set list, with the big anthems and softer ballads, blended to remind us that Europe has been part of the soundtrack of our lives. A concert that left us grinning and singing on the night and for days afterwards.

always a pleasure to see this guys in action! as a very old fan form the 80's, i loved the band from the beginning...so much fun and some tears too...very emocional and the set list was amazing too. tunes from every period of their career, from the oldest to new ones, of course focusing on the last álbum, War Of Kings. the sound of the venue was amazing, with a stage lights doing a very special show too.

After a two-month break, Taylor Swift is revitalizing her titanic Eras Tour in Paris, and fans believe there are changes coming to the show.

When does the Eras Tour start again?

Swift kicks off the European leg of her tour on Thursday, May 9, in Paris. She will perform Friday, Saturday and Sunday nights, as well, in the City of Light.

There are 69 shows left in the Eras Tour: 51 in Europe, nine in America and nine in Canada.

The European leg stretches from May all the way through a five-night stand at Wembley Stadium in London in mid-August.

Will Taylor Swift add 'The Tortured Poets Department' to her set list?

The tortured poet has been on hiatus keeping her stamina up by releasing a double album of 31 tracks. The 2-hours-and-2-minutes project broke a number of Billboard records as the superstar did zero press to promote it. Fans flocked to stores and streaming services to listen to all the songs from "Fortnight" to "The Manuscript."

Although the singer has not confirmed whether her 11th era album will be added to her Eras Tour set list, she did post a YouTube shorts video with two scenes that sent Easter egg decoders into a frenzy. In one of the shots, the singer is next to a railing where a "TTPD" logo appears to be (at 0:11). In the succeeding shot, her back-up dancers perform holding canes and wearing top hats, something they have not worn previously.

Swift's dancers and bandmates posted to their Instagram stories as they left for France last week. The singer did not appear at two media events with her boyfriend Travis Kelce: the Kentucky Derby and a Formula 1 race in Miami , Florida. Patrick Mahomes, Kelce's friend and Kansas City's quarterback, attended the car racing spectacular with his wife, Brittany.

Who are the opening acts?

Paramore launched the Eras Tour in Glendale, Arizona, in March 2023, so it's fitting the American rock band is opening the tour's second year. The act will open for Swift for 51 shows across Europe . The band was dubbed the 2024 Record Store Day global ambassador and surprised fans in Nashville the weekend following the release of "The Tortured Poets Department."

Where can I watch if I don't have tickets?

The Eras Tour is one of the first tours that has been followed, globally, by thousands of fans on digital platforms. Fans dedicate part of their concert experience to livestreaming as Swift performs. A few Swifties have learned how to host their own shows over social media including Tess Bohne , known as the livestream queen. Bohne goes live for (almost) every show pulling streams from Instagram and TikTok. When a livestream goes down, she fills the time with banter.

On YouTube, user @TaylorSwiftHockeyBro also livestreams the three-hour show, and on Twitch, @folkleric , is a host fans follow.

There is also an app, Swift Alert , that notifies fans who only want to watch certain eras like the acoustic, surprise set. The app sends out push alerts if there are any major announcements.

What secret songs are left?

For the past 83 shows, Swift has played an acoustic set she customizes at each stop with a guitar and piano performance. In 2024, the Eras Tour star added mashups of her songs for each stop. Here are the songs she has yet to perform:

There have been many rumors that Swift will continue her show in 2025, but they are only rumors. Nothing has been announced for next year, and as of now, the tour will end in Vancouver, British Columbia, on Dec. 8.

New dates: 29 shows in Europe 2024 announced

With over two million tickets sold to date on the Memento Mori Tour, and following sold-out stadium and arena shows across Europe, Mexico, Canada, and the US this summer and fall, Depeche Mode today announced 29 new European dates which will extend the tour into 2024. Even more fans will now have a chance to experience the raw, emotive power of the Memento Mori Tour, hailed by Rolling Stone as “a stunning celebration of life and music.”

These new European tour dates begin January 22, 2024 at London’s O2 Arena and finish April 5 after multiple nights at Lanxess Arena in Cologne, Germany. Along the way on the 22-city tour the band will also play multiple nights at Berlin’s Mercedes-Benz Arena, Paris’ Accor Arena, Madrid’s Wizink Center, Milan’s Mediolanum Forum, and more. The 110-date Memento Mori Tour is on track to be one of Depeche Mode’s largest to date.

Coldplay tickets and everything you need to know

Coldplay have confirmed they will play eight UK concerts next summer, their only European dates for 2025 announced so far.

In a statement on Tuesday , the band said on their website that they will appear at Craven Park in Hull for two dates before performing at Wembley Stadium in August.

The band said Hull and London are the only two cities in Europe where they will be appearing next year, with a mystery guest to be announced.

Fans will be rushing to get tickets but they are expected to be flying at the speed of sound - so you will need to be quick!

Here is everything we know so far to help you be as prepared as you can to secure your tickets.

When are Coldplay's UK 2025 dates?

• 18 August: Craven Park Stadium, Hull
• 19 August: Craven Park Stadium, Hull
• 22 August: Wembley Stadium, London
• 23 August: Wembley Stadium, London
• 26 August: Wembley Stadium, London
• 27 August: Wembley Stadium, London

Where can I get tickets?

The tickets will be available to be purchased through Ticketmaster, which you will need an account set up for.

Pre-sale tickets will be available on 26 September 2024 at 09:00 BST.

General sale begins at 09:00 on 27 September.

Ticketmaster has shared some handy tips on how to secure tickets when the day rolls around.

How much do tickets cost?

Costs of the tickets are yet to be released but are predicted to be between £70 to just over £100, based on their current world tour prices.

A limited number of Infinity Tickets, priced at £20 per ticket, will be made available for the shows via Ticketmaster at 12:00 GMT on 22 November 2024.

How do I get pre-sale tickets?

You can register now for pre-sale tickets through Coldplay's website , where you will be sent an access code when the pre-sale starts.

A Ticketmaster account must be registered with the email address given.

Fans can be part of the pre-sale if they pre-order the new album, Moon Music, from Coldplay's Official UK & European stores before 23:59 BST on 24 September 2024, through store.coldplay.com.

Presale access codes and instructions will be emailed to eligible fans from 17:00 on 25 September.

Each access code is valid for up to six tickets at Wembley dates or up to four tickets at Hull.

Tickets are not guaranteed and will be on a first come, first served basis with high demand expected.

Can I get a ticket if I live nearby?

Good news for local fans - half of the tickets for the Hull shows will go to them, dependent on having a HU, YO, DN or LN postcode.

This will be through Ticketmaster on 26 September 2024 at 18:00.

The 2025 Hull dates mark Coldplay's first-ever concerts in the city.

Where else are Coldplay performing?

Coldplay have some tour dates coming up next month and for the rest of the year as part of their Music of the Spheres World Tour.

All the below dates are in 2024 and are already sold out.

• 30 October, 31 October, 2 November and 3 November: Marvel Stadium, Melbourne
• 6 November, 7 November, 9 November and 10 November: Accor Stadium, Sydney
• 13 November, 15 November and 16 November: Eden Park, Auckland

Can I buy accessible tickets?

During the pre-sale slot on 26 September, all accessible tickets for Wembley will be available from the Wembley Box Office.

For the Hull dates, accessible tickets will be available on Ticketmaster.

Contact details will be available on the show pages during the pre-sale.

Do you have to be over 18 to get Coldplay tickets?

Those who would like standing tickets need to be over 14 years old, but seated tickets are available for anyone over the age of five. All under 14’s must be accompanied by an adult aged 18 or over.

How many tickets are being sold?

Though no confirmation has been made on the number of tickets on sale for the Hull or London events, Craven Park seats 12,000 people and alongside standing capacity can hold up to 25,000 people – meaning there could be up to 50,000 tickets up for grabs across the two nights.

Wembley's capacity is 90,000 - it is the largest stadium venue in the UK. This could mean up to 540,000 tickets are available across the six nights.

Where does the money from tickets go?

The band has announced that 10% of the proceeds from the Wembley and Hull shows will be donated to the Music Venue Trust.

This will support work to help grassroots UK venues and upcoming artists.

How many tickets can you buy?

London Wembley Stadium events have a ticket limit of six per code during the presale, and 12 per household during the general sale.

Hull Craven Park events have a ticket limit of four per code during the presale, and four per household during the general sale.

What time will the concert start and finish? How many hours will Coldplay perform for?

The Hull concerts start at 17:00 BST, and no end time has been confirmed yet.

However at recent Music of the Spheres tour shows in Europe, the band have been taking to the stage between 20:30 and 21:00 and have been playing about 21 songs across a two-hour long set.

Are Coldplay releasing a new album?

The new album, titled Moon Music, will land on 4 October 2024 and the tracklist has been revealed .

Who are Coldplay?

Coldplay formed in 1997 and are a British band with a mix of pop and rock.

There are four members of the band, including Chris Martin, vocalist and pianist, guitarist Jonny Buckland, bassist Guy Berryman and drummer and percussionist Will Champion.

They were originally called Big Fat Noises, and then Starfish, before settling with Coldplay.

Their best known songs include Yellow, Viva La Vida and Fix You and they are considered a bucket list band to see live due to the atmosphere they create.

The Dare announces 2024 UK and European tour 

It comes in celebration of the debut album ‘What’s Wrong With New York?’

The Dare has announced details of a UK and European tour, set to take place later this year.

Revealed today (September 18), the new tour dates come in celebration of the musician’s debut album ‘What’s Wrong With New York?’

Arriving via Polydor/Republic Records on September 6, the artist – real name Harrison Patrick Smith – then kicked off his first-ever North American headline tour. These dates included a sold-out show at New York’s Webster Hall last week.

Now, he has announced details of a UK and European leg of the tour, which is set to kick off later this year.

Seven new shows have been shared, all of which take place in November. They kick off with an opening night at the Gretchen venue in Berlin (13), followed by two shows in Paris, held at the Silencio and Badaboum venues on November 15 and 16 respectively.

From there, The Dare will play one show at the Bitterzoet in Amsterdam on the 18th, before heading over to the UK for three live dates. The first of which is at London’s Heaven on November 20, followed by a show in Leeds the following night and a closing gig at The Arch in Brighton on November 23.

The Dare recorded ‘What’s Wrong With New York?’ over the last year between his home and his studio in New York. It features his huge lead single ‘Girls’, as well as other singles including ‘You’re Invited,’ ‘Perfume’ and ‘Good Time.’

It also came with a star-studded list of collaborations, including appearances from the likes of Dylan Brady, Emile Haynie, Romil Hemnani, Chris Greatti, Isaac Eiger and more. Before the release, Smith reached his first UK Number One with the Charli xcx and Billie Eilish remix of ‘Guess’ , which he produced for the deluxe edition of ‘Brat’.

‘What’s Wrong With New York?’ was given a three-star review by NME , with Jordan Bassett writing: “It’s tempting to tell Smith that Murphy wants his shtick back (along with his suit), but the pastiche is often effective, at least.”

“His defiantly dumb breakthrough track ‘Girls’ is one of the best singles of 2006 and ‘Movement’ builds to a crunching, multi-layered cacophony that demonstrates greater musical sophistication than he’s often given credit for,” it added.

“Still, there’s something a little depressing about music that’s this nakedly backwards-facing. Beneath the hedonism, anxiety thrums through ‘What’s Wrong with New York?’ – hence, perhaps, Smith’s dream of his teeth falling out – and he’s clearly captured a wish to return to a time before Covid, before fake news, before bots and pile-ons and information overload. But you’d be better off just listening to LCD.”

Austria’s capital Vienna is a majestic city with its grand imperial architecture, world-class museums and coffeehouses.

With heatwaves pummeling countries across Europe this summer, it is not surprising many people have chosen to vacation in the cooler months.

Searches for winter holidays have been soaring and an analysis by Europe ferry operator DFDS has found those that are the top trending for 2024/25 in Europe.

Travel researchers looked at 229 towns and cities across Europe, examining the change in Google searches between July 2023 and July 2024 compared to the previous two years to identify spikes in interest.

The research finds that two Austrian cities rank among the top three most up-and-coming destinations holidaymakers are looking to visit in winter. Tromsø in Norway ranks second.

Salzburg Is The Trendiest European Destination This Winter

Searches for winter vacations in the Austrian city of Salzburg increased by 135% this year, according to DFDS.

With its backdrop of snow-capped Alps, Salzburg is a renowned natural alpine beauty. It also has plenty for the history buff with a UNESCO-listed old town and the iconic Hohensalzburg Fortress on a rocky outcrop above the city.

As the birthplace of Mozart, Salzburg is steeped in musical heritage, with classical concerts and performances regularly held in its historic venues.

Over Christmas, the city transforms into a twinkling winter wonderland, where visitors can stroll through its cobbled streets, visit traditional Christmas markets and get snug in its cozy cafés.

UK prog rockers Arena celebrate their 30th anniversary with an extensive jaunt around UK and Europe

UK prog rockers Arena have announced tour dates to celebrate the band's 30th anniversary throughout Europe and UK for April and May 2025.

The tour kicks off at Winter's End Festival in Chepstow on April and runs through to the popular De Boerderij in Zoetermeer in Holland on May 31, taking in Scotland, England and Europe,

"We’re delighted to announce our European tour for 2025, celebrating our 30th Anniversary, we’ll add more ticket links as we get them and look forward to seeing you on the road in 25," the band exclaim.

The band, now fronted by former Threshold and Headspace singer Damian Wilson , and who also feature Clive Nolan, Mick Pointer, John Mitchell and Kylan Amois, will play:

Metallica is leaving no stone unturned on their ‘M72 Tour.’

Originally announced in November 2022 (!), the Rock Hall of Famers just added a third years’ worth of shows to their ongoing trek in support of their latest record, “72 Seasons.”

This time around, James Hetfield, Kirk Hammett and co. are putting on six “no repeat weekends” — either Thursday and Saturday or Friday and Sunday shows with different set lists and opening acts — and six “one night only” concerts.

The closest “no repeat weekend” to New York will take place at Philadelphia’s Lincoln Financial Field on Friday, May 23 with Limp Bizkit and Ice Nine Kills. On Sunday, May 25 , the show will feature Pantera and Suicidal Tendencies.

A month before that, the “Enter Sandman ” rockers have a “one night only” gig lined up at Syracuse’s JMA Wireless Dome on Saturday, April 19. Pantera and Suicidal Tendencies will serve as the special guest that evening.

According to Consequence , “these one-off concerts promise the tour’s full production and massive in-the-round stage setup.”

In August 2023, the New York Post’s resident metalhead Ryan Murphy attended a pair of ‘M72’ concerts at MetLife Stadium and said “Metallica played everything you’d want to hear with no repeats over the two nights.”

“Even though they’re promoting their new record,” he continued, “they played all the fan favorites.”

Fans can purchase tickets for all upcoming ‘M72’ shows on sites like Vivid Seats; the official on-sale for the 2025 concerts is Friday, Sept. 27.
