Will cruising through the Lancashire waterways, with views of the picturesque local towns and villages. Enjoy a refreshing welcome drink (selected from a choice of alcoholic or soft drinks), before sitting down in the comfortable surroundings of the centrally heated narrow boat.
Tuck into our superbly presented roast dinner, with a choice succulent chicken breast, honey glazed ham or vegan nut roast. All served with herb roasted potatoes, honey glazed root vegetables, seasonal greens, giant Yorkshire puddings and a red wine gravy. We booked a private hire afternoon tea cruise for four people to celebrate our friend's 60th birthday. The boat and skipper were waiting for us and kindly let us onboard as we had got there early. There is a lovely pub next to where the canal boat sets off, and this opens at 12 noon. Luckily the weather came good for us and the scenery was amazing.
