WHAT'S COVERED IN THIS GUIDE?

What is eTravel?

The eTravel form is an online form used to collect personal and travel information from passengers entering and exiting the Philippines for the purpose of immigration, border control, data analysis, and health surveillance. It serves as your departure/arrival card, health declaration, and contact tracing form.

ETravel Gov PH Website

It was first implemented at the height of the COVID-19 pandemic to reduce physical contact between the passengers and airport personnel, replacing the traditional paper departure cards. Today, no more pandemic, but it has remained in use.

Who are required to accomplish the eTravel form?

Most travelers are required to complete and submit the form, including the following:

  • arriving Filipinos and foreign nationals
  • departing Filipinos

Adults and children alike falling under these two categories must submit an eTravel form. That covers most travelers.

I say “most” because, as you can see, it does not include departing foreigners. The following are also exempted from submitting eTravel:

  • foreign diplomats and dependents
  • foreign dignitaries and members of delegation
  • 9(e) visa holders
  • holders of diplomatic and official/service passport

The eTravel form must be completed and submitted as early as 72 hours (3 days) before your departure from the Philippines or expected arrival time in the Philippines.

If you’re traveling with family, you can also complete this form on behalf of your family members.

How to Create an eTravel Account

Whether you’re outbound or inbound traveler, the first step is to create an account, if you don’t have one yet. You can do so in two ways:

  • the official eTravel website: etravel.gov.ph
  • the official eGovPH app: Android , iOS (Apple)

If you have traveled internationally and submitted an eTravel form before 2024, it doesn’t mean that you automatically have an account. Prior to 2024, creating an account was not a requirement. One could simply accomplish the form and submit without having to sign up for an account. However, in early 2024, this has become mandatory. Don’t worry. It does feel like a lot of work in the beginning, but it will make your subsequent submissions a breeze because, unlike before, the system is now able to save your personal details and automatically fill in some of the fields with pre-saved data.

If you don’t have an account yet, here’s how:

ETravel Create Account 1

  • Visit the etravel.gov.ph/authentication . This is the official sign-up page. Make sure you’re on the right website.
  • Enter a valid email address. Make sure it’s correct because the system will be sending a one-time password (OTP) to this email address.
  • Enter the OTP. Check your email to retrieve it. It should have 6 digits.
  • Create a password. The password must have at least 8 characters, with at least one uppercase and one lowercase letter. Re-enter your password to confirm.
  • Enter your personal information. The system will ask for the following: – Full name – Sex – Birth date – Mobile number – Citizenship – Country of birth – Passport number Tap NEXT.

eTravel PH Create Account

  • Enter your residential address. Click NEXT after.
  • Review all the information you entered. The system will show you a summary of your details. If every thing is correct, hit SUBMIT.

That’s it! You now have an eTravel account!

Using this account, you can register a trip for yourself and even family members.

Now, it’s time to register your trip.

How to Accomplish eTravel for DEPARTING Passengers

Now that you have an account, all you need to do is register your upcoming trip. Every time you do so, you’ll be asked if you’re completing the form for yourself or for a family member. (Yes, you can submit a form on their behalf.) You’ll also be asked if it’s for ARRIVAL or DEPARTURE.

This section is for DEPARTURE , i.e. for those flying OUT of the Philippines. This applies to all Filipino passengers and crewmembers. Foreign nationals departing the Philippines do not need to register their departure trip.

Frequently Asked Questions (FAQs)

I want to change something after generating the qr code. how to correct it.

You can still edit your info if you noticed a typo error or you entered wrong data. However, note that you can only do this BEFORE it gets validated or verified by the BOQ officer upon your arrival sa Pilipinas. Ensure that you make your corrections before your flight to the Philippines.

To do this, just go to the main page or home page of eTravel, then click the UPDATE REGISTRATION button. Provide your reference number or transaction number and birth date.

At what point of the airport process should I present the QR code?

In most cases, you won’t be asked to present this at any point. But it doesn’t mean you can skip it. The Immigration Officer can see on their screens if you’ve accomplished this form.

  • If they see that you have, they usually won’t ask for it.
  • If they can’t find your eTravel for this trip, they will ask you to step aside and accomplish one at the tablet station nearby.

Do I have to pay for eTravel QR Code? How much is the charge?

No, you don’t need to pay anything for the eTravel QR Code. It is FREE of charge. If you landed on a website requiring you to pay for the service, it’s definitely a scam.

I’m traveling with family. Does every one of us need to accomplish eTravel?

YES and NO. YES, every member of the family on your trip must have an eTravel record, but not everyone needs to create an account. One member can create an account and then they can register all the accompanying family members under that one account. I’ve done it myself for my mother and sister on our most recent trip, and we didn’t encounter any problem.

Note that this does not apply to friends, colleagues, or romantic partners. If you’re not family, each of you must create an account.

Is there a Tagalog version of this article?

We will be publishing a Tagalog video version of this on our YouTube channel .

Do I still need to accomplish One Health Pass and eArrival Card?

No need. The eTravel has officially replaced the now obsolete One Health Pass and eArrival Card starting 2 December 2022.

To be honest, all these systems are very similar. The changes are not too drastic. Some items were removed such as the Philhealth Number, and then some required items are now optional. The noticeable difference is not really the content but the appearance or the user interface.

eTravel Pass Facts

1: introduction to etravel pass.

In the modern era of international travel, a new paradigm has emerged, transforming the traditional approach to cross-border mobility. Central to this transformation is the implementation of digital solutions aimed at streamlining travel processes while enhancing public health safety measures. Among these innovations, the eTravel Pass has become a significant tool, especially in the context of the Philippines, a nation that prides itself on being both a popular tourist destination and a proactive participant in global public health initiatives.

The eTravel Pass, essentially an electronic travel declaration, is a digital platform that facilitates the submission of essential travel and health information by international travelers. This system, adopted by the Philippine government, is part of a broader strategy to maintain a safe and secure environment for both visitors and residents in the face of evolving global health challenges. The eTravel Pass system in the Philippines is not just a mere administrative procedure; it is a testament to the country’s commitment to leveraging technology for public health security and travel efficiency.

The inception of the eTravel Pass was primarily driven by the need to manage and mitigate the risks associated with communicable diseases, especially in the wake of emerging infectious diseases that pose global threats. By mandating international travelers, including Philippine passport holders, to complete an eTravel form online prior to their arrival, the Philippines has taken a proactive stance in its health declaration protocols. This system ensures that all travelers are accounted for in terms of their health status, travel history, and potential exposure to health risks.

The eTravel registration process, a cornerstone of this system, requires travelers to fill out an online form, which includes a comprehensive health declaration checklist. This checklist is designed to gather all the information necessary to assess the health risks that a traveler might pose. It covers a range of data points, from basic personal details to more specific health-related information. The eTravel form is a straightforward process, but its importance cannot be overstated. It serves as the first line of defense against the spread of diseases across borders.

In the Philippines, the eTravel Pass has evolved to become more than just a health declaration tool. It is part of a larger eTravel system that integrates various aspects of the travel process. From the moment a traveler starts the eTravel registration online to the time they present their eTravel QR code to immigration officers upon arrival, every step is carefully orchestrated to ensure a seamless and safe travel experience. The eTravel QR code, a unique identifier for each traveler, encapsulates all the information submitted during the eTravel registration, making it a vital component in the arrival process.

The adoption of the eTravel Pass in the Philippines also signifies a shift from traditional paper-based arrival systems to a more efficient and secure electronic method. This transition not only speeds up the processing at entry points but also reduces the likelihood of errors and inconsistencies in travelers’ data. By having travelers provide details electronically, the Philippine government ensures that passport information, health declarations, and other critical data are accurately recorded and easily accessible for public health monitoring.

For international travelers, the eTravel Pass system represents a significant change in how travel authorization is obtained and verified. Unlike the traditional visa application process, which often involves extensive paperwork and in-person submissions, the eTravel Pass allows for an online application method. This method is not only convenient but also ensures that all the information, including health declarations and travel plans, is up to date and readily available to the relevant authorities.

The eTravel Pass has particular implications for business travelers and other frequent international passengers. For these individuals, the efficiency and reliability of the eTravel system are invaluable. The process of completing the eTravel form online, obtaining the eTravel QR code, and going through the arrival process in the Philippines becomes a routine part of their travel itinerary. This streamlined process is a boon for those who require swift and hassle-free entry into the country, whether for business meetings, tourism, or other purposes.

For Philippine passport holders, the eTravel Pass system offers a dual advantage. On the one hand, it facilitates their re-entry into the country by providing a straightforward process for submitting their health and travel information. On the other hand, it enhances the overall safety and security of their homeland by contributing to the effective management of public health risks associated with international travel.

The effectiveness of the eTravel Pass system in the Philippines is further bolstered by its integration with other government initiatives and agencies. The inter-agency task force on communicable diseases, for instance, plays a crucial role in analyzing the data collected through the eTravel forms. This collaboration ensures that any potential health emergency is promptly addressed, and appropriate measures are taken to protect both travelers and the local population.

In conclusion, the introduction and implementation of the eTravel Pass in the Philippines mark a significant milestone in the intersection of technology, international travel, and public health. By embracing this electronic travel declaration system, the Philippines sets an example for other countries to follow, demonstrating how digital solutions can effectively enhance travel safety and efficiency. As international travel continues to evolve, the eTravel Pass stands out as a key component of a modern, responsible, and health-conscious approach to global mobility.

2: The eTravel Registration Process

In an era where the ease of international travel is often juxtaposed with the need for stringent health and security measures, the eTravel registration process stands out as a vital cog in the wheel of travel management, particularly in the Philippines. This section delves into the intricacies of the eTravel registration system, highlighting its significance, functionality, and impact on the overall travel experience for both international travelers and Philippine passport holders.

The eTravel registration process is a digital initiative by the Philippine government, designed to streamline the entry of travelers into the country. At its core, the eTravel Pass system requires individuals to complete an online form, which is a fusion of a traditional visa online application form and a health declaration. This eTravel and online health declarations application form is a key component in the larger framework of the eTravel system, aiming to balance the ease of travel with the imperatives of public health safety.

eTravel Form: A Comprehensive Approach

The eTravel form online is a multifaceted document that demands attention to detail. It serves multiple purposes – from a basic travel registration to a detailed health declaration. The form requires travelers to enter a variety of personal details, including contact information, passport data, and planned departure date. Additionally, the health declaration aspect of the online form is comprehensive, encompassing a checklist designed to assess the traveler’s health status and travel history, particularly in relation to communicable diseases.

The design of the eTravel form is intuitive, ensuring a straightforward process for completion. However, the importance of accuracy in filling out this form cannot be overstated. Inaccurate or incomplete information can lead to delays or even denial of the eTravel authorization, underscoring the need for travelers to provide details meticulously.

Integration of Health Declaration

A significant portion of the eTravel registration revolves around the health declaration. Given the global concerns regarding emerging infectious diseases, the Philippines has placed a strong emphasis on this component. The health declaration checklist in the eTravel form is exhaustive, covering various aspects of the traveler’s current health condition, exposure to diseases, and recent travel history.

The integration of the health declaration into the eTravel system serves a dual purpose. Firstly, it allows the Philippine government to monitor and manage public health risks associated with international travel. Secondly, it provides a mechanism to swiftly identify and respond to any health emergency that may arise, ensuring the safety of both the travelers and the local populace.

The Process of eTravel Registration

The eTravel registration online is a multi-step process, beginning with the completion of the eTravel online application form. Once the form is filled out, travelers are required to submit it electronically. This submission is followed by a review process, where the details provided online application form are verified for accuracy and completeness. Upon successful review, the traveler is issued an eTravel QR code, which is a digital representation of their approved eTravel Pass.

The eTravel QR code is a critical element in the eTravel system. It encapsulates all the information submitted by the traveler, serving as a digital passport of sorts that is scanned upon arrival in the Philippines. This electronic method not only expedites the arrival process but also enhances the accuracy and efficiency of data management for the authorities.

eTravel for Philippine Passport Holders

For Philippine passport holders, the same passport, the same passport: eTravel registration offers the same passport, a streamlined and efficient means of re-entering their home country. The process remains largely the same, with the added benefit of being tailored to the specific needs of returning residents. This includes considerations for any travel-related health concerns and the swift processing of their re-entry, ensuring a hassle-free experience.

The eTravel Pass system also reinforces the sense of responsibility among Philippine passport holders towards their nation’s public health safety. By participating in this system, they contribute to the collective effort of safeguarding their country from health risks that can be introduced via international travel.

eTravel for International Travelers

International travelers, including business visa holders and foreign nationals, find the eTravel Pass system to be a boon for their travel plans. The electronic arrival card, which replaces the existing form of paper-based travel documents, offers a more efficient and secure method of entering the Philippines. The online application method for the eTravel Pass saves time and reduces the complexity often associated with international travel documentation.

The eTravel registration process for international travelers is designed to be user-friendly, with clear instructions and guidance provided throughout. This ease of use is particularly beneficial for those who are not familiar with the Philippines’ entry

policies and procedures. Moreover, the system is equipped to handle various categories of travelers, from those arriving for tourism to business travelers, ensuring that each group’s specific needs are addressed.

eTravel and Public Health

At the heart of the eTravel registration process is the commitment to public health. The thorough health declaration and the meticulous verification of submitted information underscore the Philippines’ dedication to preventing the spread of communicable diseases. This aspect of the eTravel system becomes particularly crucial in the context of global health emergencies, where the swift identification and management of health risks can have far-reaching implications.

The system then prompts them to fill out the eTravel form, a comprehensive document that includes sections for personal information, health declaration, and travel details.

Accuracy and completeness are paramount when filling out the eTravel form. Travelers must ensure that all information provided is correct and up-to-date, as this data is crucial for both travel processing and public health monitoring. Once the form is completed, the system reviews the submission, and if approved, issues an eTravel QR code to the traveler.

The Role of the eTravel QR Code

The eTravel QR code is a digital representation of the traveler’s approved application. It contains all the necessary information required by immigration and health authorities in the Philippines. Upon arrival, travelers present their eTravel QR code, which is scanned by immigration officers, allowing for a quick and efficient verification process.

This digital approach not only streamlines the arrival process but also enhances the security of personal and health-related information. The eTravel QR code minimizes the need for physical documents, reducing the risk of loss or data discrepancies.

Challenges in Online Application

While the online platform offers convenience and efficiency, it also presents challenges, particularly for travelers who may have limited access to the internet or are not tech-savvy. Furthermore, continuous efforts are made to ensure the accessibility and reliability of the online platform. This includes regular updates and maintenance to improve the system’s functionality and user experience.

The eTravel Pass system is not static; it is continuously evolving to meet the changing needs of travelers and to respond to new public health challenges. Feedback from users is an essential part of this process, helping to identify areas for improvement and adaptation.

Future enhancements to the eTravel system may include more advanced features, such as artificial intelligence-driven assistance or real-time updates on travel and health advisories. These advancements aim to further simplify the travel process while maintaining the highest standards of public health safety.

In conclusion, the online platforms and application methods of the eTravel Pass system represent a significant advancement in the Philippines’ approach to travel management. By leveraging digital technologies, the system offers a streamlined, secure, and efficient process for travelers, enhancing their experience while prioritizing public health safety. As the system continues to evolve, it stands as a model of how technology can transform travel processes, making them more accessible, reliable, and aligned with global health and safety standards.

11: Planning and Preparation for Travel in the eTravel System

Effective planning and preparation are crucial for travelers navigating the eTravel Pass system, an innovative solution implemented by the Philippine government to streamline international travel and reinforce public health protocols. This section outlines the key aspects of planning and preparation that travelers should consider to ensure a smooth experience with the eTravel system, emphasizing the importance of understanding and adhering to the requirements.

Understanding the eTravel System Requirements

Before embarking on a journey to the Philippines, it’s essential for travelers to familiarize themselves with the eTravel Pass system. This includes understanding the types of information required for the eTravel registration, such as personal and contact details, health information, travel history, and planned departure and arrival dates.

Travelers sponsoring company should visit the official eTravel Pass website to access up-to-date information and guidelines. This preliminary step provides clarity on the processing fee payment step of the process and helps the sponsoring company identify any specific requirements based on the traveler sponsoring company’s nationality, travel or business visa history, or health status.

The Importance of Accurate Information

Accuracy in providing information is paramount in the eTravel Pass system. Travelers must ensure that all details entered in the eTravel form are correct and current. This includes double-checking personal details, ensuring that passport data matches the information provided, and providing an honest and comprehensive health declaration.

Inaccuracies or discrepancies in the information can lead to delays or complications during the travel process, including potential denial of entry into the Philippines. Therefore, travelers should take the time to review and verify all information before submitting their eTravel form.

Health Declarations and Precautions

Given the emphasis on public health safety, travelers must pay particular attention to the health declaration section of the eTravel form. This involves disclosing any recent illnesses, exposure to communicable diseases, and vaccination status.

Travelers should also be aware of any health advisories or requirements specific to the Philippines and ensure that they comply with these guidelines. This may include obtaining specific vaccinations, undergoing health screenings, or adhering to quarantine protocols upon arrival.

Timeliness in eTravel Registration

Timeliness is another critical factor in the eTravel process. Travelers should complete their eTravel registration well in advance of their planned departure date. This allows sufficient time for the processing and approval of the eTravel Pass and for addressing any issues or queries that may arise during the review process.

Early registration also provides travelers with peace of mind, knowing that their travel authorization is in place and that they have complied with the necessary requirements for entry into the Philippines.

Preparing for the Arrival Process

Upon receiving the eTravel QR code, travelers should prepare for the arrival process in the Philippines. This includes having a digital or printed copy of the eTravel QR code readily available for inspection by immigration officers.

Travelers should also familiarize themselves with the arrival procedures at their specific port of entry in the Philippines, including any health screenings or additional documentation checks that may be conducted.

Staying Informed and Adaptable

The travel landscape, especially in the context of public health, is dynamic and subject to change. Travelers should stay informed about any updates or changes to the eTravel system or entry requirements for the Philippines. This can involve regularly checking official sources, such as the eTravel website or Philippine embassy updates, for the latest information.

Being adaptable and prepared for changes, such as new health advisories or alterations in travel protocols, is essential. Flexibility in travel plans and a willingness to comply with evolving guidelines are crucial for a smooth travel experience.

In conclusion, thorough planning and preparation are key to successfully navigating the eTravel Pass system. By understanding the requirements, providing accurate information, adhering to health protocols, completing timely registration, and preparing for arrival, travelers can ensure a seamless experience when visiting the Philippines. The visa process is separate from the eTravel system entry policy, but equally important in fulfilling the Philippine entry conditions. Travelers are advised to check the latest visa requirements and ensure compliance with all travel regulations set by the Philippine Bureau of Immigration.

Complying with Philippine Entry Conditions

Compliance with Philippine entry conditions is crucial for all travelers . This includes adhering to the requirements set forth in the eTravel declaration form and, if applicable, the visa regulations. The Philippine Bureau of Immigration strictly enforces these entry conditions to ensure the safety and security of both the travelers and the local population. It is the responsibility of each traveler to familiarize themselves with these conditions and ensure their compliance.

eTravel Requirements for Crew Members Arriving in the Philippines

Guide: Mandatory eTravel Registration For Entry Into The Philippines

people standing in a hallway with a sign

It had been years since I last visited the Philippines and I arrived in Manila unaware that eTravel registration, formally known as Philippine Travel Information System, is required to enter the country. Don’t make the same mistake I did.

Guide: Mandatory Philippines eTravel System

Upon arrival into Ninoy Aquino International Airport (MNL), I was among the first off the aircraft and bolted for passport control since I wanted to try to catch an early flight to Bangkok. The line was not long and I soon reached the front.

An immigration official asked me for my QR code, which left me with a blank look on my face. He referred me to the front of the line, where a sign provided more details on eTravel. Looking around, it seemed like everyone on the United flight was being turned away to do the same thing.

We were given arrivals forms onboard, but those were for customs, not immigration.

a paper with text on it

The process was fairly straightforward and complimentary wi-fi was available in the terminal. Details were collected including passport information, flight details, and destination info within the Philippines.  You can register here .

a sign with pictures of women and qr code

Once the process was complete, just click submit and a QR code will be generated, with a border in either green or red.

Data submitted in the eTravel is reviewed and verified by the Bureau of Quarantine (BOQ), hence, if you receive a green QR code, you may directly proceed with immigration inspection upon arrival. However, if you receive a red QR code, you will be required to undergo further inspection by BOQ before immigration formalities.

I was thankful the QR code was generated instantly for me and was green.

I proceeded back to the immigration counter (and watched many more people from the United flight turned away) before reaching the front again and having no trouble entering the country.

Very simple: save yourself hassle and register in advance with the Philippines eTravel system. Theoretically, United should have checked this in San Francisco prior to boarding my flight, but since it was only United’s second day of service to MNL I understand that some gaps were still in place. Register in advance here .

I travel October 2023. I too did not know of QRCode requirement. Immigration official asked for code. Like you, I looked puzzled. Official said don’t worry, type into his system for two minutes, and said you are good to go.

I was denied boarding at Seattle airport for lack of Etravel QR code, Delta airlines staff thought it was mandatory at point of orogin outside the Philippines like in Seattle, it’s a hassle coz I have to pay my rebooked ticket to resume my flight to the Philippines

I ask for a refund for my rebooking cost at Delta as CAB authority ruled in my favor but Delta airlines just offered me 2000 dollars ticket voucher which I just took coz Delta airlines don’t offer cash refund just ticket voucher

' src=

Would you need that if we were in transit and catching a flight to Bangkok instead of entering the country?

' src=

No, it would not have been needed had I just proceeded to transit security.

' src=

I don’t believe there are any transit security areas at any of Manila’s 4 NAIA terminals. All arriving int’l passengers including transiting ones will have to clear immigration and customs…You should have been reminded upon check-in at your departure city about the mandatory e-travel requirement, ranging from 72 hours and up to 2 hours before departure. A few passengers have been deported and black-listed from future entry into the country due to this infraction.

' src=

There are inT3 but you have to ask an agent to take you. In T1 there is a clear separation for transit pax now that all PAL intl flights are using T1.

' src=

Singapore has something similar but it is registration, not QR code. There are about 3 computers to use by the checkpoint if you forgot. That’s nice for those without a phone.

' src=

Had similar experience in Bali last month. No mention by airline of qr code requirement. Filled it in while walking from plane to immigration (after ladies beside me told me it was a requirement)

it’s supposedly linked to passport but who knows with the filipino computer systems.. from a filipino

if one fills it out beforehand there is no need to display the QR code though since it is automatic

' src=

Have I missed the big news – is every human now born with an iPhone embedded in their forehead?

Not everyone has a working cellphone with them. What do they do? Not allowed into the country?

There are sets of iPads locked on the eTravel page in that area.

' src=

Having a cellphone while traveling just makes life so much easier when things go wrong. Don’t understand why anyone would travel without one.

There are two lanes for Etravel inspection in immigration the express lane for those with QR code entitled in BOQ scanning machine and for those with no QR code BOQ personnel will assist them thru manual verification

' src=

I had the same thing in March, had no idea I had to do this. In immigration I scanned a QR code on my phone and did it in a few minutes. This October I did it ahead of time, and was never asked for it.

' src=

@ Jance: You must search the entry requirements of all host countries that you plan to visit before booking air tickets or leaving home. Then you must bring USD, a passport with 2-6 months validity, hard copies of reservations of flights and accommodations plus your tech gadgets. You should be grateful that English and USD are widely common and accepted around the globe. All airlines will not allow you to board if you do not produce air ticket to the next country. If you have no working phone overseas, you can eliminate many countries to visit on your list. Japan tops the list followed by South Korea, Taiwan, HK, etc.. Without a cell phone to navigate the transit system, you must be proficient at using it as well, you only choice is hiring a tour guide. These are basic knowledge and common practice for all travelers to any destinations.

' src=

I completed the online form prior to travel and got my QR code. Upon arrival at NAIA immigration nobody asked to see it. More inconsistent and pointless bureaucracy.

' src=

There are doubts in my mind that this is needed because in the three times I arrived in PH they never asked for the code (but I still did it knowing the requirements). Maybe it’s linked in the system so they’ll know if one registers or not

How to Process eTravel Card Registration Philippines

What is eTravel Registration?

The eArrival card functioned as an online health declaration and contact tracing platform, facilitating the transit of foreign passengers from their country of origin to their destination’s Local Government Unit (LGU) in the Philippines.

Beginning December 1, 2022, the Philippine government replaced the eArrival card with a new e-Travel registration. The goal of e-Travel registration will be similar to that of the eArrival card, but it will require less information, be easier to complete, and have an intuitive interface. The former eArrival card registration page will be available and approved just during a brief transition period.

Benefits of eTravel Card Registration

There are many benefits to registering your e-Travel card. First and foremost, it will make your travel experience easier. Upon arrival at the airport in the Philippines, you will no longer have to fill out an immigration form or queue up at a desk. Instead, you simply hand over your passport and receipt for payment of fees (if any). Read on to learn more about how you can benefit from registering your e-Travel card.

Convenience

The eTravel registration is incredibly convenient for both travelers and travel authorities.

This saves time and effort, allowing travelers to relax during the trip instead of worrying about the registration process. Additionally, travel authorities can quickly and easily access traveler health information, allowing them to provide more efficient assistance.

Cost Savings

The eTravel registration can also help to save money. By eliminating the need for paper forms and manual data entry, eTravel registration reduces administrative costs associated with registering travelers.

Additionally, eTravel registration can help reduce medical care costs by streamlining the registration process and allowing the medical staff at travel entry/exit points to focus on providing the necessary assistance and guidance to passengers instead of worrying about paperwork.

Improved Accuracy

The eTravel registration also helps to improve accuracy. By eliminating manual data entry, online health travel registration reduces the chance of errors in patient information.

Additionally, the eTravel registration allows for real-time updates to traveler information, ensuring that travel authorities have access to the most up-to-date information. This helps to ensure that travelers receive the best possible support and guidance on their journey.

Increased Security

The eTravel registration also offers increased security for both travelers and local authorities. Using secure encryption technology, eTravel registration ensures that patient information is kept safe and secure.

Additionally, online health travel registration allows healthcare providers to access patient information without worrying about unauthorized access or data breaches.

Streamlined Communication

Online health travel registration also helps to streamline communication between travelers and travel authorities. By allowing travelers to provide their medical information easily and coordinate with travel authorities, eTravel registration helps to ensure that travelers receive timely response and guidance from travel authorities.

Additionally, the eTravel registration allows travel authorities to quickly and easily communicate with travelers, helping to ensure that they receive timely updates on their health status.

Entry Guidelines

As per IATF Resolution No. 2, travelers should be aware of the various requirements when it comes to entering the Philippines. Here are the entry guidelines for those traveling to the Philippines. This information is taken from etravel.gov.ph :

A. FULLY VACCINATED (Filipino and Foreign Travelers)

– No pre-departure COVID-19 Test requirement – At least fourteen (14) days before departure from the country of origin/port of embarkation, you must have received the second dose of a two-dose series or a single dose of COVID-19 vaccine.

B. UNVACCINATED or PARTIALLY VACCINATED (Filipino and Foreign Travelers)

1. Travelers aged 15 and up must present a remotely supervised/laboratory-based Rapid Antigen Test administered and certified by a healthcare professional in a healthcare facility, laboratory, clinic, or other similar establishment taken 24 hours prior to departure from the country of origin/first port of embarkation in a continuous travel to the Philippines, excluding layovers.

2. Adults (15 and older) who fail a pre-departure test must submit to a laboratory-based Antigen Test UPON ARRIVAL at the airport.

3. Children under 15 years old who are not being vaccinated for any reason must meet their parents’ or guardian’s requirements. They must also follow the recommendations above.

NOTE: Any inbound traveler, whether Filipino or Foreign national, who shall test positive for COVID-19 through rapid antigen test shall be subjected to the latest prevailing quarantine and isolation protocols of the DOH.

Who should apply for an eTravel Card?

The Inter-Agency Task Force for the Management of Emerging Infectious Diseases (IATF-EID) has mandated that all travelers entering the country complete an eTravel registration.

eTravel Card registration

eTravel is an online platform and information system that is web-based and responsive to mobile devices. To utilize eTravel, all you need is a mobile device such as a smartphone or tablet, a laptop, or a desktop computer. You can access the eTravel platform via the web browser on your mobile device or personal computer.

When to register

Individual eTravel registration applications must be submitted a minimum of 72 hours before an inbound traveler enters the Philippines. This requirement applies to all inbound travelers, regardless of nationality or place of origin, including infants and children.

It is extremely important that the eTravel registration form be completed in its entirety since you will be asked to produce proof of registration in order to board the aircraft.

Process for eTravel Card Registration

Registering on the eTravel platform is simple. Here are a few steps you can follow:

Step 1 : Go to the eTravel registration website .

Step 2: Choose either “Philippine passport holder” or “Foreign passport holder” based on your nationality.

Step 3: Enter your trip details and email address, then hit “Continue.”

Step 4: Fill out your registration form by providing your personal information and signing a health declaration form.

That’s it! Simple, right? After you have successfully registered for the eTravel Card, your QR Code will be sent to you. You can download or take a snapshot of this QR Code before exiting or closing the eTravel application or website. You will then be required to present this code to the airline representative before boarding the plane.

Green QR Code

Once you have submitted all required information and files, the eTravel system will generate a Green QR Code for you. When you are given a Green QR Code and your online registration information and associated documents are authenticated, you will be able to use the airport’s “Express Lane,” where your Green QR Code will be scanned and tagged with your arrival date and time. There could be no additional interviews or document submissions.

Red QR Code

If you are lacking prerequisites, you will be issued a Red QR Code and will be interrogated by Bureau of Quarantine (BOQ) workers upon arrival at the airport to manually verify and determine if you are required to undergo facility-based quarantine and RT-PCR Testing.

Cost for eTravel Card

Unlike other travel registration sites, eTravel does not require a payment method. It is free of charge, and you can register without any form of payment. Be wary of websites that claim to be legitimate, but require payment in order to operate.

10. Do I need to download and APP to use the eTravel?

The eTravel is a web-based platform that is mobile-friendly. It can be accessed through a smartphone or tablet or a computer. You can open it using a browser that’s compatible with mobile devices.

eTravel is an online platform that can only be used if you have a stable internet connection. It is recommended to use it while you have such a connection.

12. Can I register few days before the flight (before I travel)?

You can only register for eTravel within three days prior to your trip to the Philippines. Those who have already submitted their proof of registration must present it at the airport. Their recent health condition must also be declared within 72 hours before they can board the plane.

13. Is all information asked in the eTravel relevant to Health Declaration Checklist requirement?

Some of the questions that were added to the system were designed to help the authorities determine which category you should be in, based on the requirements of the IATF. This will allow you to easily navigate through the various categories and be assisted by the health border authorities.

14. What is eHDC?

The Electronic Health Declaration Card is a type of card that’s used by all travelers in the Philippines to present their health information to BOQ. This form was previously filled out manually by the travelers. With the eTravel, instead of using a yellow paper form, you will receive a QR Code form after your registration has been successful.

15. What is the difference between the Green QR Code and Red QR Code of eTravel?

The eTravel system will issue a Greeb QR Code if your submission of the necessary information and attachments is complete and compliant with the IATF’s latest entry protocols.

On the other hand, if you have any missing requirements, you will be issued a Reg QR Code upon reaching the airport. A BOQ representative will then check if you have to undergo RT-PCR or quarantine testing.

16. What do I need to do after I register?

Before you can exit or close the eTravel application or webiste, take a quick look at your QR Code. This will allow the airline representative to confirm that you are a legitimate user and allow you to board the plane. You must then present this code to the BOQ Quarantine officials upon reaching the Philippines.

17. What happens if I have a QR Code issued upon successful registration with eTravel?

Upon registering for eTravel, you will automatically be considered for the express lane upon your airport or seaport arrival.

This means that the Quarantine Officer no longer has to show other documents to you. However, they still check and verify the data that you have submitted to the BOQ in case there are discrepancies or incorrect information. If you have submitted documents that are incomplete or incorrect, such as the COVID-19 test or vaccination, you may still be required to go through a manual verification procedure at the airport.

18. What happens if I have a Red QR Code issued upon successful registration with eTravel?

Upon being verified by the Quarantine Officers, you will be asked to provide them with specific documents in order to determine if you are following the entry protocol of the Philippine Government.

19. What is “Express Lane”?

The eTravel process has been designed to make it easier for international travelers to comply with the health protocol requirements of the country they are visiting.

Through the express lane, you can easily identify and confirm your arrival date and time by scanning and tagging your Green QR Code. This feature eliminates the need for you to submit any documents and allows you to leave the airport without further interviews.

20. What is Manual Process?

Travelers with a Red QR Code may be required to undergo a manual process to confirm their health protocol compliance upon entering the Philippines. This step can also be performed upon submission of documents or information.

21. Does it automatically mean that I will be quarantined if I am manually processed upon arrival by BOQ?

If BOQ verifies that you are in compliance with the entry requirements, then you will not need to go through a facility-based quarantine.

22. Can I print my eTravel personal QR code instead of screenshot?

You can print this document for presentation at the airport or seaport of origin or upon your arrival in the Philippines. Just make sure to take a quick Screenshot or download the eTravel app to save your personal QR code.

23. I lost the screenshot of my personal QR Code, what do I do?

You can retrieve your QR Code and other personal details by logging in to the eTravel website. To do so, go to the website’s main page and click on the “My Profile” tab. You can also enter your details, such as your birthdate and reference number.

23. I lost my transaction number; how can I open my profile?

Follow the instructions below to try and find your transaction number. If it’s still valid, you can proceed to your account and receive your email address.

24. I made a mistake. Can I still edit my information after I have successfully registered?

If you have not been verified, processed, and tagged as you were when you entered the eTravel by the border health authorities, you can still change some of your details in the website’s “Open My Profile” section.

However, you will not be able to edit the data that you have collected since you have arrived due to the quarantine officer’s strict requirements. The data that you have collected includes your arrival date, address, and other personal information.

Philippine One-Stop Electronic Travel Declaration System

All passengers traveling to the Philippines must complete an electronic travel declaration both ahead of their journey and before departing the country.

The Philippine One-Stop Electronic Travel Declaration (previously called eTravel) replaces the eArrival Card ( originally the One Health Pass ) and the paper-based departure card.

The one-stop declaration requires less information and simplifies the process of authorizing your arrival in and departure from the Philippines and providing your health declaration.

Note that the eTravel declaration is not a visa or eTA . Passengers who require a visa or Philippines eTA must have both a visa/eTA and one-stop authorization. Visa-exempt travelers will still need to complete the One-Stop Electronic Travel Declaration .

What Is the One-Stop Electronic Travel Declaration for the Philippines?

Electronic travel registration includes providing a health declaration and information about the trip.

The data collected from eTravel enables Filipino authorities to perform contact tracing in the event that a traveler is found to have an infectious disease. In this way, it is an important measure to protect public health for both residents and visitors.

You must register with eTravel online before any trip to the Philippines , as well as before departure from the country . Once completed, you will receive a QR code or barcode to present on arrival or departure.

The declaration is the latest iteration of the Philippines’ digital health form. It has replaced the eArrival Card, which, in turn, replaced the One Health Pass. The original name for the form was the e-CIF. It also replaces the paper-based departure card.

The one-stop registration is now the only required health form . The eArrival Card, One Health Pass, and e-CIF are no longer in use.

How to Complete eTravel Declaration for the Philippines

Passengers register the Philippines eTravel declaration online. This is done through a web-based portal rather than a mobile app.

The registration involves completing a short online form with the requested information.

This can be done using a personal computer, laptop, smartphone, tablet, or other device connected to the internet.

The one-stop declaration form

The form asks for the following details:

  • Basic personal details
  • Travel plans
  • Accommodation
  • Vaccination status

There are fewer questions than on previous Filipino online health forms. The new form is more streamlined and quicker to complete .

Once the details are submitted, a QR code is generated .

Who Needs the Philippines eTravel Declaration?

All passengers entering or departing the Philippines must present a QR code or barcode from the one-stop declaration.

This includes:

  • Foreign residents of the Philippines
  • Filipino nationals

Travelers of all nationalities are required to complete a declaration for the Philippines. It is required for all purposes of travel, including transit through the country, and is also needed for departure.

Each traveler must complete a separate form . It is not possible to include multiple individuals on one form.

Do children need the one-stop declaration for the Philippines?

Yes, all travelers, including minors and infants , must have their own eTravel QR code/barcode on arrival/departure.

Parents or guardians may complete the online form on behalf of their dependents.

When Can I Complete the Philippines Electronic Travel Declaration?

Passengers should complete the registration process in the days leading up to their trip.

The information will be submitted for processing a maximum of 72 hours before traveling to the Philippines or departing from the country.

Can I Use the Same One-Stop eTravel Declaration More than Once?

No, the eTravel declaration is valid for a single use only .

The QR code can only be used to board a flight to/from the Philippines within 72 hours of completing the online form. Once it is scanned by a border officer on arrival/departure, it cannot be reused .

Each time you travel to or from the Philippines, you will need to register with the Philippine One-Stop Electronic Travel Declaration System..

Traveling to the Philippines With the One-Stop Declaration

After completing the online form, print or take a screenshot of the QR code or barcode . This is required to board a flight to or from the Philippines and must be shown to a Bureau of Quarantine (BOQ) officer on arrival or departure.

Passengers may present their QR or barcode in one of the following ways:

  • Printed copy
  • Digital copy on a smartphone or device

eTravel QR code or barcode?

The passenger will be issued with a QR code as long as the information provided:

  • Is complete
  • Meets the entry protocols

Travelers with a QR code will be able to use the "Express Lane" on arrival or when departing. This means that all they need to do is scan the code on arrival/departure. There is usually no further interview or checking of health-related documents.

The individual will be issued with a barcode in the following circumstances:

  • The information provided during one-stop registration is incomplete
  • The individual’s details or health documents require further checks

Upon arrival in the Philippines, they will be interviewed by a BOQ officer . Here, the information and documents will be checked. It may be determined that the individual will need to quarantine or undergo other measures.

Gov‘t launches eTravel platform for travelers, returning residents to Philippines

The Office of the Press Secretary on Friday announced the launch of an online registration system for those travelling to the Philippines and returning residents, which aims to streamline entry and data collection processes.

The OPS said the Health Declaration Checklist of the Department of Health-Bureau of Quarantine may be accessed through the eTravel platform beginning Friday, December 2.

"The eTravel platform will host the electronic version of the paper Arrival Card that travelers must submit upon arrival in the Philippines for immigration clearance," the OPS said in its notice to the public.

"Starting 05 December 2022, the Bureau of Immigration will discontinue using the paper Arrival Card. All travelers will be required to provide their arrival information and health declaration through the eTravel portal," it added.

It said passengers using the former www.onehealthpass.com.ph would be redirected to the new eTravel domain as starting December 5, the old domain of the One Health Pass will no longer be accessible to the public.

The OPS reminded the public that registration on the eTravel platform is free.

"The public is warned against transacting with any entities or websites soliciting payments and fees of any kind as these are in no way related to the official eTravel platform of the Philippine government," the OPS said.

In a press briefing, Department of Health officer-in-charge Maria Rosario Vergeire said the eTravel will provide more convenience and accessibility to passengers which will encourage more travelers in the country.

“Ito pong eTravel registration, hindi na-compromise dito ang batas ng BOQ wherein kailangan may specific medical details na kailangan ibigay talaga ang bawat pasahero na pumapasok sa ating bansa (This eTravel registration did not compromise the BOQ law wherein the passengers entering the country must provide specific medical details),” Vergeire said.

“So this eTravel registration provides convenience, provides more accessibility and also provides convenience to arriving passengers. And therefore mas maeencourage ang travelers na pumasok sa ating bansa (it will encourage them more to visit the country),” she said.

“At ito na lang ang kailangan (This is the only thing you need). Prior to departure, you should have this para pagpasok sa bansa, seamless na, wala na masyadong pila, wala nang inconvenience (so that when you enter the country, it will be seamless, no more lines, no more inconvenience),” she added.

The eTravel platform is a joint initiative of the Department of Information and Communications Technology, in partnership with the Bureau of Immigration, Bureau of Quarantine, Bureau of Customs, Department of Tourism, Department of Health, Department of Justice, and the Department of Transportation.  — Anna Felicia Bajo and Richa Noriega/RSJ/AOL, GMA Integrated News

Step-by-Step Guide to Registering for e-Travel Card

The Philippines has introduced a new travel pass, the e-Travel Card, to replace the One Health Pass as a requirement for entry into the country. This new system aims to make it easier and more convenient for international travelers to enter the Philippines. In this article, we’ll give you a step-by-step guide on how to register for the e-Travel Card 2023.

The e-Travel Card is an online health declaration and contact tracing platform created by the Philippine government to keep track of all individuals entering the country. This is to allow for contact tracing in case a traveler is found to be infected with a specific disease. All foreign and Filipino travelers, including children and infants, must individually register for the e-Travel Card before their  flight to the Philippines .

According to the latest rules from the Inter-Agency Task Force for the Management of Emerging Infectious Diseases (IATF-EID), e-Travel registration is mandatory for all arriving passengers. Inbound travelers, including Filipino nationals and foreigners, must apply for e-Travel registration at least 72 hours before their flight to the Philippines. It’s important to fill out the e-Travel registration form as proof of registration is required when boarding the flight.

Here are 10 Steps to Register and Use the e-Travel Card for Travel to the Philippines:

  • Visit the e-Travel website at eTravel.gov.ph using a smartphone, tablet, laptop or personal computer.
  • On the homepage, select whether you are a Philippine passport holder or a foreign passport holder.
  • Enter your travel details and email address, then press “Continue” to generate your e-Travel QR Code.
  • Fill out the personal details section and sign the health declaration form to complete your registration.
  • After successful registration, you will receive a QR Code. Save a screenshot or download your personal QR Code before closing the website or application. You’ll need to show this QR code to an airline representative before boarding the flight and to the Bureau of Quarantine (BOQ) upon arrival in the Philippines.
  • You will receive a Green QR Code from the e-Travel system if all required information and attachments are complete. You can use the “Express Lane” at the airport; no further interview or document submission may be required. However, if you have missing requirements, you will receive a Red QR Code and must be interviewed by BOQ personnel upon arrival.
  • Prepare the necessary documents before your flight. Foreigners should carry a copy of their passport and visa, while Filipino travelers should carry a valid passport or government-issued ID like  UMID  or  postal ID .
  • Provide your airline with the details of your e-Travel QR code, including the Green QR code, a copy of your passport, and other necessary documents at least 72 hours before departure.
  • The airline will verify your information and send it to the Bureau of Quarantine for approval. Wait for an email notification from the e-Travel platform indicating your approved e-Travel QR Code.
  • Once your e-Travel QR code has been approved, your airline will send you a flight confirmation. Show this confirmation along with your QR code and passport to the airline representative when checking in at the airport.

The e-Travel Card registration is free of charge and does not require any online payment. Be cautious of potential scams or false websites that may try to charge for e-Travel Card registration. It is designed to make the process of entering the Philippines easier and more convenient for international travelers. By following these steps, you can easily register for the e-Travel Card and have a  smooth entry into the Philippines .

Remember to prepare all necessary documents and provide your e-Travel QR Code to your airline at least 72 hours before your flight. This will ensure a smooth and hassle-free entry into the Philippines. It’s also important to keep a copy of your approved e-Travel QR Code, flight confirmation, and passport with you at all times during your travels. The registration is free of charge, so be wary of any potential scams that may try to charge you for the service. By using the e-Travel Card, you can contribute to the health and safety of travelers and residents in the Philippines.

E-Travel Registration for Traveling in the Philippines

The eArrival card served as a platform for online health declarations and contact tracing, allowing foreign tourists to transit from their place of origin to their destination’s Local Government Unit (LGU) in the Philippines.

The goal of eTravel registration will be similar to that of the eArrival card, but it will require less information, be easier to complete, and have an easy user interface. The prior eArrival card registration website will be accessible and accepted during a temporary transition period.

On December 1, 2022, the Philippine government replaced the eArrival card with a new e-Travel registration . That being said, the One Health Pass Website will be closed off to public access beginning December 5, 2022.

The BOQ’s Health Declaration checklist is available on the platform. It also has an electronic version of the arrival card, which is required for immigration clearance.

Beginning December 2, all inbound travelers to the Philippines must register for the country’s new e-travel system to gain entry into the country.

This new e-travel system is a mandatory requirement for all travelers to ensure safety and to help prevent the spread of the coronavirus. Those who fail to register in advance will be subject to quarantine restrictions upon arrival.

Furthermore, the Bureau of Immigration will no longer accept the paper version of the Arrival Card downloaded via the One Health Pass Website. International travelers must have the electronic edition of the Arrival Card found in the eTravel platform.

Travelers must be informed of the various entrance processes for the Philippines, according to IATF Resolution No. 2. These are the admission requirements for visitors entering the Philippines. This information came from etravel.gov.ph :

A. FULLY VACCINATED (Filipino and Foreign Travelers)

No pre-departure COVID-19 test required – You must have had the second dose of a two-dose series or a single dose of COVID-19 vaccination at least fourteen (14) days before departure from your country of origin/port of embarkation.

B. UNVACCINATED or PARTIALLY VACCINATED (Filipino and Foreign Travelers)

1. Travelers aged 15 and up must present a remotely supervised/laboratory-based Rapid Antigen Test administered and certified by a healthcare professional in a healthcare facility, laboratory, clinic, or other similar establishment within 24 hours of departure from the country of origin/first port of embarkation, excluding layovers.

2. Adults (15 and over) who fail a pre-departure test must submit to a laboratory-based Antigen Test ON ARRIVING AT THE AIRPORT.

3. Children under the age of 15 who are not vaccinated must meet their parents’ or guardians’ criteria. They must also follow the previously given recommendations.

NOTE: Any inbound visitor who tests positive for COVID-19 utilizing a rapid antigen test, whether Filipino or foreigner, will be subject to the most recent DOH quarantine and isolation protocols.

Anyone traveling to the Philippines must utilize this system to gain entry into the country. The requirements vary based on the age group they are categorized under, as outlined above.

Travelers, including babies and children, must register for eTravel at least 72 hours before leaving for the Philippines. Prior to boarding an airplane, you must also register. Here’s how to join:

1. Visit the eTravel’s website. Remember that the system is completely free and has no registration cost.

2. Fill up your Personal Profile, which contains your passport number and occupation.

3. Please specify your mailing address.

4. Fill out the Health Declaration, which includes information about your COVID-19 vaccines.

5. Please review and submit your information summary.

A QR Code will be generated once all requirements have been met. Before exiting the page, take a snapshot of the code, as it will be scanned upon boarding and arrival in the Philippines.

The eTravel system will generate a GREEN QR Code if your submission of the required information and attachments is complete and complies with the IATF’s most recent entry regulations.

If you do not meet the conditions, you will be given a RED QR Code upon arrival at the airport. A BOQ representative will next determine if RT-PCR or quarantine testing is required.

IMPORTANT: Remember that you cannot use the same code twice. You must register and generate a new QR Code for your forthcoming trip.

Foreign visitors could travel from their place of origin to the Local Government Unit (LGU) of their destination in the Philippines by using the eArrival card as a platform for online health declarations and contact tracing. This made it possible for them to visit the Philippines.

The purpose of the eTravel card registration will be comparable to that of the eArrival card; however, it will call for fewer pieces of information, will be easier to finish, and will have a more straightforward user interface. To facilitate a smooth transition, the old website for eArrival card registration will continue to be accessible and accepted.

On December 1, 2022, the government of the Philippines introduced the e-Travel registration, which superseded the previous eArrival card. As a direct result of this, the One Health Pass Website is no longer accessible to the general public as of December 5, 2022.

The Health Declaration Checklist required by the BOQ can also be found on the platform. It comes with an electronic version of the arrival card, which is essential for getting clearance from immigration.

To enter the Philippines after the 2nd of December, travelers will be asked to sign up for a new electronic travel system that the government is implementing.

The implementation of this brand-new electronic travel system is required for every traveler to improve overall travel safety and curtail the spread of the coronavirus. Those who fail to register in advance of their arrival will be subject to further restrictions imposed by the quarantine.

The printed Arrival Card that was obtained via the One Health Pass website will no longer be accepted by the Bureau of Immigration once that change took effect. It is mandatory for travelers from other countries to have the digital version of the eTravel Card available through the platform, which you will learn further how to acquire in the following sections.

Travelers are required to be informed of the various entry processes that the Philippines requires, in accordance with Resolution No. 2 of the IATF. These are the requirements that must be met in order to enter the Philippines. The following information was collected from the website etravel.gov.ph :

A. FULLY VACCINATED (Filipino and Foreign Travelers)

There is no requirement for a COVID-19 test before travel. The second dose of a two-dose series or a single dose of the COVID-19 immunization is required at least fourteen (14) days before departure from the country of origin/port of embarkation.

B. Not immunized at all or only partially immunized (Filipino and Foreign Travelers)

1. Passengers aged 15 and up must present the results of a Rapid Antigen Test performed in a laboratory under remote observation and certified by a trained medical expert within 24 hours of leaving their country of origin/first port of embarkation, excluding layovers.

2. Adults above the age of 15 who failed a pre-departure test must submit to a laboratory antigen test ON ARRIVING AT THE AIRPORT.

3. Children under the age of 15 who have not been immunized are expected to follow the standards specified by their parents or legal guardians. Furthermore, they must adhere to existing regulations.

NOTE: The most recent DOH quarantine and isolation protocols will be applied to any inbound passenger of any nationality who tests positive for COVID-19 using a rapid antigen test. This is the case regardless of the traveler’s country of origin.

Every traveler to the Philippines must adhere to particular entry procedures in order to enter the nation. As said, the requirements vary depending on the age group of the individual in question.

Every traveler, including infants and minors, must register for eTravel 72 hours before leaving for the Philippines. This must be done before boarding an aircraft. The following is the registration procedure:

In your spare time, go to the eTravel website. Remember that this process will not cost you anything, so don’t worry about the price. Moreover, if you come across a website asking for a fee, you know it’s a scam. Here are the steps to register on the platform.

  • Fill up your Personal Profile completely, including your passport number and current job title (if applicable).
  • Next, specify your postal address.
  • Fill out the Health Declaration, which includes questions regarding your COVID-19 vaccines.

By this point, your summary of information is awaiting your approval and submission.

eTravel Philippines QR Code

A QR Code will be generated once all conditions are met. Before you leave the page, take a screenshot of the code since it will be scanned both when you board the airline and when you land in the Philippines.

The eTravel system will generate a GREEN QR Code if your submission of the required information and attachments is complete and meets the most recent IATF entry criteria.

When you arrive at the airport, you will be given a RED QR Code if you do not fulfill the requirements. A BOQ representative will then determine whether RT-PCR testing or quarantine testing is required.

It is important to remember that using the same code more than once is not permitted. For your upcoming trip, you must register and generate a new QR Code.

Assume you’re looking for an easy way to stay up with the most recent changes to e-travel registration protocols. In that case, you should view this video that details the registration for the new e-travel card.

Frequently Asked Questions

In order to comply with the directive issued by the IATF, the eArrival system must be switched out for a new website that features a health declaration check list. This will be done in order to comply with the regulations that the government has set for travel. The general public will be informed when the newly designed website is finally ready for their use. In the meantime, we have put together a list of the questions that have been asked the most frequently about the eTravel registration system.

Through the use of the eTravel platform, visitors from other countries are able to swiftly and safely enter their personal information, including their medical history and contact details, prior to entering the Philippines. In addition, the government is required to preserve a record of all individuals who enter the country with a medical history that includes certain conditions. This history must include the disease in question.

This means that before entering the Philippines, visitors of any age, including babies and children, are required to first register on the eTravel website.

Before you are allowed to fly to the Philippines, you are required to first register with the eTravel website and then present documentation that you have registered at the airport. Because eTravel registration is a mandatory step in the travel process required by the government, all arriving travelers should be aware of the significance of this step.

As of the 30th of May in the year 2022, pursuant to the provisions of IATF Resolution 168, facility-based quarantine for tourists from other countries to the Philippines who seek to enter the nation will no longer be required. Instead, they will only be required to provide a negative test result in particular circumstances where they will be obligated to do so. This adjustment will take effect as soon as possible.

If you enter the Philippines for the first time after September 1, 2021, you will be required to provide confirmation of your personal information through the e-Travel registration system. The IATF’s Resolution 135 makes it mandatory to follow the protocol in its present iteration.

The eTravel platform is web-based, so all you need is a device that can connect to the internet in order to use it. It was created specifically for mobile use. Traditional desktop PCs, mobile devices, and other portable electronic devices can access it. It is accessible using a web browser optimized for use on mobile devices.

You need to register for eTravel at the airport at least three (3) days before you go to the Philippines. At the airport, identification must be presented by passengers who have already registered with the airport. In addition, travelers have just 72 hours from the time they board the airplane until they must inform the proper authorities of their most current medical condition. This time limit begins when they board the plane.

The authorities hope that by asking you some of these additional questions, they will be able to establish which category you fall into in accordance with the IATF standards and so be able to direct their investigation properly. This will make it easier for you to explore the many categories and get advice from experts at the health border.

By checking in to the eTravel website, you will have access to a variety of your personal details, including your QR Code. To do this, navigate to the website’s homepage and choose the option labelled “My Profile.” In addition, you can obtain your produced code by providing personal information such as your date of birth and reference number. Please remember that these codes will only work for three days and nights; after that, you will need to register again.

If, at the time you registered for eTravel, the authorities in charge of border health had not yet screened, processed, and tagged you, you are still able to modify certain information in the “Open My Profile” section of the website. This is the case even if you have already been screened, processed, and tagged.

Due to the stringent nature of the quarantine rules, you will not be able to make any changes to the information you have provided once you arrive. Your date of arrival, address, and possibly even some further information about yourself will be collected.

This guide will help individuals planning on traveling to the Philippines. Before you start planning a trip, it’s important that you have a good understanding of the country’s entry requirements.

The eTravel platform has made it easier than ever to secure your travel arrangements. With the new registration process, you can now log in to the website from anywhere on any web-capable device. This new system also provides travelers with more convenient and efficient ways to manage their accounts.

Never register for a trip to the Philippines using a website other than etravel.gov.ph . Doing so could allow you to be tricked into providing your personal information and payment for the registration process when this should be completely FREE.

The new etravel.gov.ph website has a lot of information about travelling to the Philippines. It’s also a good place to start learning about the country’s entry requirements.

How Biden’s New Immigration Policy Works

The new policy will give some 500,000 people a pathway to citizenship.

By Hamed Aleaziz

President Biden’s new immigration policy protects some 500,000 people who are married to U.S. citizens from deportation and gives them a pathway to citizenship.

The election-year move comes just two weeks after Mr. Biden imposed a major crackdown at the U.S.-Mexico border, cutting off access to asylum for people who crossed into the United States illegally.

The policy announced on Tuesday is aimed at people who have been living in the United States for more than a decade and have built their lives and families here.

Here is how it works:

Why do the spouses of American citizens need protection?

Marrying an American citizen generally provides a pathway to U.S. citizenship. But people who crossed the southern border illegally — rather than arriving in the country with a visa — must return to their home countries to complete the process for a green card, something that can take years. The new program allows families to remain in the country while they pursue legal status.

Who is eligible?

There are roughly 1.1 million undocumented immigrants married to U.S. citizens in the United States, according to Fwd.us , an immigration advocacy group, but not all of them are eligible for the program.

The spouses must have lived in the United States for 10 years and have been married to an American citizen as of June 17. They cannot have a criminal record. Officials estimate that the policy will provide legal status and protections for about 500,000 people. The benefits would also extend to the roughly 50,000 children of undocumented spouses who became stepchildren to American citizens.

When will the program take effect?

Biden administration officials said they expected the program to start by the end of the summer. Those eligible will then be able to apply for the benefits.

Why is President Biden doing this now?

Mr. Biden is trying to strike a tricky balance on immigration, which is a serious political vulnerability for him. Polls show Americans want tougher policies. Just two weeks ago, Mr. Biden announced a crackdown on asylum at the southern border.

His new policy, giving hundreds of thousands of immigrants new legal protections, is a way for him to answer the calls from the progressive base of the Democratic Party, which has accused the White House of betraying campaign promises to enact a more humane approach to immigrants.
