Hi Corrine, love your site. My daughter has been on 3 return flights before the age of 1 – and then we learned that she has a severe tree nut allergy (analphylactic) and Air Canada’s allergy policy is almost non-existent. We’re flying again in Feb and March, so, I have been trying to think of the best ways I can protect my toddler from the cashews (and other nuts) that Air Canada insists on serving and selling on our flight and previous flights.

I found these seat covers, which are great for kids with allergies!!! http://niceseats.net/ The airline lets you board first to wipe down the seats and put these nifty covers on (that thankfully come in black and grey).

Hello – thanks for all the recommendations, super helpful! I was hoping for a new recommendation- a travel baby gate? Our hotel won’t provide one but our toddler will be in his own room and will need a baby gate on his door – could you please recommend a baby gate for packing and taking with us? Thanks!

Experience was very positive. Very easy to select the buggy I required for my twins. When we arrived at the hotel, the buggy was waiting on us. Easy to drop the buggy off at the hotel reception on the date of departure. My twins are 4 and no longer use a buggy, however this was a lifesaver on holiday as they struggled to walk in the hot weather. They often fell asleep when being pushed in the buggy.

I have used Travel4baby on my last two trips to Tenerife and I have found their service first class and so efficient making my life so much easier, I was nervous to take my expensive pram through the airport and this was a great option which offered great quality prams that meant I didn’t have to buy a cheaper pram to bring with me that wouldn’t of been as good as quality as the baby jogger ones I rented from travel4baby, also it’s just so convenient to land to the hotel and the equipment being there waiting for you and then when your leaving the fact they collect it at your location , highly Recommend this company

Fantastic company I would highly recommend. I hired two baby car seats for our hire car and a buggy. The car seats were given to us at the airport and the buggy delivered to our hotel. All the communication was clear and the staff very helpful at the drop off and return. The items were in great quality, clean and safe for our two children. I couldn’t recommend more strongly and will use them again. Thank you!
